As an employee of the University of Pittsburgh, I was more than happy to support a company owned by a former Pitt student-athlete. We booked Fireside for our wedding ceremony and reception, and we couldn't be happier. Working with Lee Anne made the planning process smooth and easy. Our meetings were thoughtful and detail-oriented and we were really pleased with their services. DJ Ryan and Jess did a wonderful job at our wedding, sticking to our requests while making sure our guests had a blast. The table-release trivia game was a fun touch and made our big day feel unique and personal to us. -

Fireside Events and their team were absolutely outstanding for one of the Events (Prom) held at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center. Total professionalism! The best is they "read" the crowd perfectly - throughout the entire evening! The dance floor was never empty. They provided a full experience and created a perfect atmosphere. It was a complete production and one of the best we have had in a very long time! Highly recommend them for ANY event! Will definitely be referring them to all clients!

Eric, Fallon, Allison and the rest of the Fireside Events team were amazing! They made sure my dream wedding went smoothly. Eric kept the dance floor moving and even stepped up to say the dinner prayer when my Pastor left early and Fallon and Allison fixed the bustle on my dress when it got stepped on and ripped down. They handled everything for me. Fireside offers many things to help make your wedding unique, special and personalized. They are easy to work with. Professional, honest, trustworthy and fun! -

Fireside Events was SO accommodating for our last minute need to hire a DJ. We booked Fireside Events to provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The music flowed so well and our guests continue to talk about the music and dancing! Eric and his assistant Aaron were fun, friendly, and lively people! We highly recommend them! -

If I could give Fireside Events more than 5 stars I would! From the very first conversation with Eric I knew we were going to be in good hands. Working with Eric and his team was a dream situation for me, especially since I was planning my wedding from out of state. Throughout the entire planning process Eric, Gina, and Nick were so responsive to any question we had. Their process was so organized it made planning our big day so easy! The whole Fireside Team helped in creating the perfect wedding with us and we could not be more happy with our choice to have them on our wedding team. It was so great to be able to have multiple meetings leading up to the big day to discuss every single detail to make sure everything was covered. I had zero stress on my wedding day thanks to our Fireside team. They helped to make sure our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went off without a hitch! I cannot say how much that meant to us. Once the dancing started we did not want to stop! Our entire guest list was on the dance floor the entire night, no one wanted it to end. Book them now! You will NOT regret it. Thanks again Eric and the Fireside Team for helping to make our wedding so special, you guys really are the best. :)

Fireside Events was the heart of our wedding!
Fireside Events’ reputation precedes them - professional, high energy, approachable, talented, kind, and full of personality. They were a no-brainer and the only choice to DJ and MC our wedding. Very highly recommend!
We also used their great lighting options to set the atmosphere and bring the party to life, this was an amazing way to have a one-stop shop vendor and they were very accommodating to mix and match options to fit our budget and venue. Their ability to mix music (and sync the lights with the music), seamless transitions, read the audience, and keep the dance floor packed - guests are still complimenting how much fun they had.
From the very start of the wedding planning process, they were very responsive, informative, got to know us as a couple and what we were looking for in the day. We had check-ins the way to organize the timeline, flow of events, and truly customized the music, playlists, and elements of the day to us. The day of, our DJ/lighting team of Eric and Nick were so friendly and hyped up, their energy was contagious and they ensured that everything ran smoothly. We are so grateful to the lasting memories that they have provided! -

We were referred to Fireside by a family member and we are so happy we hired them! Eric was our DJ and he exceeded our expectations. All the meetings leading up to the wedding were thorough, professional and fun. Eric made sure to implement any of our requests for the big day. His assistant Evan was such a great hype man!! They were both very organized, energetic, and just made the night a total blast. We would hire them again for any event, they were simply outstanding!! -

Gigi is a rockstar. She made our day perfect and ensured everything went smoothly. Throughout the planning she was extremely detail oriented and very responsive and organized. The day of the wedding, she expertly handled some minor family drama and she decorated the space exquisitely. Gigi is such a pleasure to work with and be around. Our vendors all loved working with her too! I cannot recommend Gigi and Fireside events enough. Getting their services was the single best wedding decision we made. -

Despite the 3 date changes we made in trying to have our wedding in 2020, Fireside Events was always by our side. The Fireside team provided the perfect levels of expertise and fun to our wedding and planning. From the start, they gave us ideas, feedback, and inspiring options to help bring our reception vision to life. With a custom spotlight gobo, remote officiant, and wedding livestream complete with graphic overlays, Fireside had an answer to every dream we asked them to create. Their structured ‘homework’ gave just the right framework for us to build upon, tweak, and change to create a day-of timeline that matched what we wanted. On the big day, the DJ assistant ensured that our timeline was organized, but didn’t feel rushed or rigid. Eric’s DJ charisma ensured there was never a lull in the action as we celebrated into the evening. -

I can not even begin to explain how amazing Ari and her assistant Emily were! They made everything so easy and stress free for our wedding. From helping us with our day of schedule to contacting vendors for us. They helped with decorating our venue and breaking down everything once our wedding was done. They even packed everything they could into our cars so that the next morning we only had a few items to pack away before leaving. I had always heard that brides can get really stressed about on their wedding day, but that wasn’t the fact for me. I remember waking up that morning and feeling calm and that feeling never changed and that’s all thanks to Fireside’s same day coordinator! I have already recommended that our friends hire Ari for their wedding next year and I’ll definitely be suggesting them to anyone else I know who is in the need of a same day coordinator! I also want to thank Matt and Elissa for being amazing DJs for our wedding. They played a combination of different songs from every decade and our guests couldn’t stop telling us how amazing they were and how they really kept the dancing going! Thanks for making our wedding day so special and carefree! -

Fireside Events were a dream to work with for our wedding! They provided their services for our ceremony and our reception. We had a few meetings with Eric and Erinn in their offices (including their sweet dog Reese!) and they couldn't be more personable and eager to make our day perfect. Music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, and Eric, Erinn and team really took the time to listen to what we wanted, share ideas, and help us curate the perfect vibe for our day. They not only provided great music that totally fit with what we were looking for (a little more indie), they also were a huge help with our wedding day timeline! They made sure everything was executed as planned and when it needed to happen. DJ Eric was an amazing MC, he got everyone hyped for the big moments and helped perfectly execute the intimate moments. His DJ assistant Samantha was a joy to work with, she kept everything running smoothly throughout the day, kept my mind at ease, and made sure things happed when we were ready.
We were originally planning on getting married in May 2020, but due to Covid we postponed our wedding to September 2020, they were so accommodating, helpful, and responsive during the uncertain times. They had a positive attitude and were a joy to talk to anytime we had a meeting. We couldn't thank them enough for helping transition our large, spring wedding into an intimate, fall wedding - such a wonderful group of people to work with! -

Best vendor we booked and well worth the money
We couldn't have been happier with our choice to use Fireside Events as our wedding DJ. They kept the pace going and made sure our guests had a blast. They are very easy to change on the fly. Entertaining is clearly second nature for this group. They make it look very easy. Even if we got behind schedule, they made sure the event had the flow it needed to be successful. Eric and Erinn are a great duo and were a pleasure to work with from day one. Definitely worth every penny! -

From the start Eric and Erinn were very easy to work with - our initial meeting with them at fireside was like spending time with old friends in a great space. The day of the wedding Eric and his assistant made our lives super easy and were always around offering a helping hand. Eric is hands down the best DJ I have ever experienced - he is a true professional at mixing music, creating a party atmosphere, publicly speaking, and making sure the whole process is seamless. The music was always the right tempo (relaxing for dinner, engaging for dancing), the mix of songs perfect for the party atmosphere we wanted after dinner, and the volume was just right throughout. Again Eric is a true professional and you get everything you pay for. Fireside in general exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked. -

Fireside events were fabulous to work with for our wedding day! They were very accommodating with our busy schedules, they were happy to take virtual chats and they were very responsive. While planning they were keen to understand the feel of the day we were going for and beautifully executed on our "through the decades" music flow. They even made use of their uplighting to help make the transition from formal dinner to time to party clear. We are thankful we chose to work with Fireside and would recommend Erinn and Eric to any couple looking for a stress-free DJ and planning experience! -

The perfect day!
My wife and I contacted Fireside Events to DJ our wedding for many reasons. We are a same sex female couple that decided to have our wedding at a lake front mansion at Deep Creek Lake. After contacting Fireside Events to participate we were immediately contacted back with a warm welcome. We were then invited to their office for a meeting so we could get to know them and they could get an idea as to what we wanted. Both Erin and Eric were both so welcoming and made us feel at home. After explaining our plans they both were so excited and began planning with us. Not only do they "DJ" - they create a clear schedule for the day of events at your wedding. We were then assigned one of their best DJ's. DJ Harry! We were able to chat with Harry to give him an idea of what we wanted. We were also provided a word document to fill out so we could have everything exactly how we wanted!
The day of ... DJ Harry and his assistant arrived to the venue and immediately made us feel at ease for how the day was going to go. During the event they kept everything on schedule and the whole day was perfect. They provided beautiful lighting, great music, and a photo booth that was a hit!!!
The pricing was very fair and we felt they went over the top! We recommend this company who welcomes any couple !!! -

From the moment my husband and I emailed, Erinn, from Fireside we knew we were going to have the best experience! During our video chats, we laughed and talked like we've been friends for years! They were so helpful with creating our timeline and gave us honest advice for making decisions. They were so timely and professional with every random question I had, so I knew our music was one aspect of the planning I did not have to stress about! During the wedding, Matt and Ari, were so attentive to our guests and to us, making the whole evening flow beautifully. I could not recommend Fireside enough for any event! “Stars” is simply not enough to rate Fireside Events LLC. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Eric and Erinn for all of our wedding needs. “DJ” does even begin to describe the services that Fireside Events provided to us. We had an several calls with them, they came to our venue months prior to the wedding, they did all of our lighting for our wedding including globe lighting and uplighting, they had a generator so we could get married in a field with our ceremony music, they solved unforeseen issues throughout the wedding (things that my husband and I overlooked, totally unrelated to their services).
Their professionalism, ability to read a crowd, friendliness, composure, and planning are just absolutely bar none.
They make the day run so amazingly seamlessly, and make it appear effortless whenever a tweek is needed that you overlooked as a couple.
What they do is truly event management. And they will make it perfect, and ensure that your guests are engaged and have a wonderful time.

Fireside Events was one of the very first vendors we booked for our wedding day, and easily one of the best decisions we made during the entire process. Erinn and Eric are not only totally professional, reliable, and talented at what they do, but they are also two of the MOST fun, welcoming, and friendly people we know. They made us feel special throughout our entire planning process and went totally above and beyond to accommodate some of our unusual requests. They found a way to turn our dream wedding into a reality without ever once missing a step along the way. After our wedding was over, many of our guests told us that Eric was the best DJ they had ever heard at a party. Fireside went above and beyond to make our wedding super special. They conference called us 4 times to plan out our wedding because we live in Texas. DJ Harry downloaded a guitar version of “I wanna grow old with you” by Adam Sandler to play mid ceremony while the rest of the wedding party sang to the chords. And he did a special version one of my bridesmaids recorded and added it in the night before the wedding. Throughout the ceremony their staff helped answer questions and respected all our requests. I would 100 percent recommend them!!!!! -

With so many DJ options out there and none we felt particularly tied to, this was a hard decision to make. In the end we decided to go with Fireside Events based off of a family recommendation and their quick and thorough communication. We are SO happy with this decision. They were great with keeping us on schedule with meetings throughout the year and asked the right questions at the right time. I also need to say that I was *very* specific with what we wanted the vibe of our wedding to be in terms of music, down to a spreadsheet. The DJ we were paired with, Matt, went above and beyond to make the vision on the spreadsheet come to life. He was truly excellent. One of the big things I wanted was a “mega mix” of Taylor Swift songs (I’m a big fan, my husband doesn’t like her at all, so our compromise was that all the TSwift would be all at once lol), and Matt made. it. happen! It was everything I wanted it to be, so thank you again, Matt!
