I recently used Fireside catering for my wedding of ~100 people in the fall of 2021, and have to say the entire experience was absolutely fantastic.
Our point person through the entire engagement was Jessica Belanger. Jess did an excellent job working with us. She was extremely responsive, she listened and incorporated every last detail of our requests, she was extremely flexible when we were undecided about certain issues, and was an excellent coordinator during the day/month of the wedding. She brought a wealth of knowledge about catering and event planning, and gave us excellent advice when we needed it. When our wedding was delayed due COVID restrictions and lock down, they made every accommodation to work with us and we incurred no additional fees on the timeline changes. And lastly, Jess did an excellent job handling a particularly difficult venue coordinator. She worked well with everyone to ensure the setup and coordination went smoothly.
One of the main reasons we booked Fireside was because we thought the quality of their catering was a notch above. We knew that their price point was a bit higher then others, but on the day of the event they delivered extremely well. The food was one of the highlights of our wedding, and nearly every guest we asked raved about the flavors, the freshness, and the quality of service. They specifically designated a staff member to follow us around the entire event with a our own private plate of appetizers to ensure that we got to eat every piece of our designed menu.
On the day of the event, I couldn't tell you if a single thing even went awry. The entire staff was attentive, the coordinators were on top of everything, and I barely remember them asking me a single question. They handled everything, and everything went smoothly.
I hope one day that I'll have another excuse to entertain 100+ people again, so that I could have the pleasure of working with Jess and the entire Fireside team once more. -

Wow, their food is so,so good. Every guest we’ve spoken to since has talked about how great the food was. We chose the the short rib and chicken with apple sage chutney as well as adding the burrata bar and the pizza late night snack. The same restaurant group also owns The Bancroft, The Double Bull Tavern, and Gibbet Hill and we love we can go back and have what we ate at our wedding again. We also did the open bar and were able to have two signature drinks and had wine service at dinner which was perfect. -

Since we booked our venue at the Crane Estate, we were automatically going to use Fireside Catering services. We were so excited to be working with this company! During the food tasting, we were able to sample absolutely delicious food from all courses of the meal. We ended up picking the beef and fish option for the wedding, and we used the chef’s vegan/vegitarian choice as the third option. Each dish was flavorful, and it was gourmet quality.
For the wedding, the guests loved their dishes. They were glad that they could have a variety of choices for their eating needs. Those who had severe allergies were catered to specifically so they could safely enjoy the dinner. People reported to me that this was the best food they had ever had at weddings they attended. Use this company! -

We had our wedding at the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA, on October 18, and we couldn’t be happier with Fireside Catering. We booked our venue 21 months before our wedding and started working with event manager Laura Blessington. Laura was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the planning process feel seamless from the very start.
About six months before the big day, we learned that Laura would be transitioning to a different Fireside location. Despite the change, she ensured that our transition to Andrea, our new event manager, was smooth and worry-free. Andrea quickly picked up where Laura left off and was always available to answer questions, making the process as stress-free as possible. We truly appreciated that there were no hidden fees—everything outlined in our contract was exactly what we paid, and the process was straightforward and transparent.
On our wedding day, Andrea exceeded all expectations. She guided us through the day, explaining every step beautifully and providing a reassuring presence that made us feel confident and at ease. Even when a minor hiccup arose, Andrea managed it seamlessly and kept the day running perfectly. Her dedication and expertise earned a 10 out of 10 from us.
The food from Fireside Catering was phenomenal. As a wedding photographer, I’ve attended many weddings and experienced a range of catering, so when I say our guests raved about the food being the best they’ve ever had, it truly means something. My husband and I tried our best to enjoy as much of the food as we could, and every bite was delicious.
Overall, our experience with Fireside Catering at the Fruitlands Museum was a flawless 10 out of 10. Their attention to detail, exceptional service, and top-tier cuisine made our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a perfect wedding experience. -

SO happy with our decision!
A wedding has many tough decisions to make and overall I think we found the catering to be the hardest one. Even once we had decided on using Fireside, we were presented with such a vast menu (this is a good thing!) which left us with more choices to make than we had initially thought. Everything on the menu looked great and after some back and forth conversations with Amy, we finally got down to deciding on the Miso Cod and the Beef Tenderloin. Both of these options went down incredibly well with our guests who were full of compliments on both choices. The presentation was great, as was the team at Fireside who ensured that everything with the dining portion of the day ran smoothly. Highly recommended & we are grateful for making things as great on the day as they were!

Fantastic Food
Nom nom nom... Guys this food was so good. My husband and I consider eating a hobby so the food at our wedding was a priority. I was not about that life of being the bride that 'doesn't have time to eat'. The wait staff is incredible and the moment you finish the ceremony, you have a personal attendant with a tray of food just for you. Tiny tacos right after saying 'I do', I mean what more can a girl ask for!? In all seriousness, they were fantastic to work with and the food exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend a pre-ceremony snack (we did hot cider and donuts), and the bigger hit was chicken sliders after dessert! They are fantastic with dealing with allergies and kindly accommodated our friends that don't drink alcohol by placing cherries in the non-alcoholic flutes so they could still celebrate during toasts. -

We are so happy that we chose Fireside to cater our wedding! So many of our guests have raved to us about the food, and it truly is delicious. We had a choice of 3 caterers through our venue, and Fireside stood out to us by far. The entrees were amazing, and the appetizers were all so delicious. Fireside might be a little pricier than some other catering options, but you really get what you pay for; the food is exceptional. Jessica was wonderful to work with, and she graciously and quickly answered our MANY questions. She also took great care to make note of all guests with allergies and where they were sitting. -

Jessica and her team made our day perfect! Everything ran smoothly, from our initial tasting all the way through the late night snack on our big day. They were flexible with all our strange requests, and so helpful whenever we needed it - answering all my late night emails with so much patience :) The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I only wish we were planning another big event so we could use them again! -

Jessica was amazing to work with! We had every allergy and dietary restriction imaginable and she handled it without flinching! Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day and we were happy to have our own plates of appetizers to enjoy during pictures (including the maple short rib grilled cheeses - yum!) You really get what you pay for and then some - excellent customer service and response time, flexibility and we really felt like the only couple. Thank you!! -

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica from Fireside Catering. From the moment that my husband and I met with her, we were so excited to begin the process! I would say between the tasting, picking out the menu and finalizing the details we were absolutely delighted when it came to working with Fireside. What was even better was when we heard from all of our wedding guests during and after the wedding that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. I have to say, I haven't had really great food at a wedding myself, so I knew where they were coming from and that they were absolutely right - it was the best food they had had! I personally did not eat a lot as you can imagine but my husband was generous as he cut up my filet so when I did have a moment I was able to sneak a bite (best. bites. ever.!) I think when it comes to cooking for the masses, there definitely can be some difficulties but Fireside Catering has their culinary experience down to a science! What I loved was that not only was the food great but the experience was seamless - Jessica was super responsive and made sure all of our needs were met. So, let me start from the beginning - My husband and I had our tasting in Burlington, MA and let me tell you, you want to come hungry because the food is so good and you'll want room in your stomach to eat it all! I have a severe nut and peanut allergy which I was very concerned about from the beginning however Jessica put all of my fears aside when she explained that everything was made in house, even their crackers (something I wouldn't have expected)! There was not a single item that I could not eat and there was not cross-contamination, which anyone with an allergy knows that part can be the trickiest aspect to overcome. After my fears were put to rest and we had attempted to eat all of the food (there wasn't much that was left) we knew we wanted to go with Fireside for our catering needs. We actually did not taste test any other vendor because in our minds the experience and careful attention to detail could not be met elsewhere. As I mentioned before, Jessica was very responsive and worked with us to design the menu of our wedding dreams! She stayed in contact with us even when there were months that we did not need to communicate - she would simply just check in with us to let us know she was there, which I personally loved. I am not a very fussy person when it comes to wedding planning, I want to trust the vendors because they really are the experts. Jessica did not disappoint in terms of building a relationship as she was extremely easy to either email, call or meet with in person! When the big day was finally around the corner I met with my wedding coordinator that ran the venue and Jessica - when meeting with them I knew they already had an incredible relationship which spoke to both of their characters. The meeting went super smoothly which was such a relief! We walked through step by step what the day and evening would consist of and I have to say I left feeling great and accomplished. The feeling of being cared for and knowing I was in good hands was extremely comforting and honestly, exciting! When the big day finally came everything went exactly as planned. Jessica was even there to say a quick hi to my husband and I before the night got busy. I would say the only downside was saying goodbye to her as she was SUCH a pleasure to work with. I can definitely say if I ever need catering again or a friend needs it, I would always say to go with Fireside Catering! Thanks again to Jessica & team for making our dreams come true! -
Kira Sent on 12/13/2017Working with Tim and the crew at Fireside was such a fantastic experience. We used Fireside at our Fruitlands Museum reception as they are the exclusive caterer for the venue. Having enjoyed Fireside catering at many company-wide meetings and Webber group food at a number of their delicious restaurants, we were thrilled to have them cater our wedding in May. Tim was incredibly easy to work with. laying everything out for us in the simplest of terms, and giving us clear direction when we needed to make a decision or sign something etc. As with many couples, we had ten million questions and Tim was always so patient and responsive in helping us nail down details. On the day of the event, the Fireside staff was like a team of wizards, assembling our various tables, welcoming guests, and making the venue look absolutely stunning. The food was beyond words. Every horderve was delicious (and as a bride who loves her food, the staff made sure I was able to try every item which was very much appreciated :D ) and our guests are still talking about their meals. All of this is even more impressive knowing that Fireside and the Webber Group make every effort to source their ingredients locally, supporting area farms and businesses. There's nothing quite like great food with a conscious. At the end of the night, the staff pulled out their wizardry skills yet again to help our families and friends pack everything up in what seemed like record time. Fireside is clearly a well-oiled machine that feels like a small family business. We cannot recommend them enough and would gladly talk to any bride or groom considering them to elaborate.

Miriam Sent on 09/04/2017Fireside Catering was both our caterer and the event manager for our site since they had an exclusive contract with them. The food was delicious and fresh. Fireside has a large, seasonal menu, sourced from the local area when possible. Tim Holmes, the Director of Sales and Events, acted not just as our catering contact, but the site contact as well. Tim was with us through the entire process from viewing the site to the reception itself. He was always available for questions, patient in answering them, and settled out nerves with a minute by minute walk through of the day two months out from the wedding. On the wedding day itself, we were able to arrive and be in the moment the entire time without having to worry about any logistics. While our band and photographer got praises from our guests, Tim and his staff are the real heroes that made the day go off without a hitch (except our own!)

Kaela Sent on 08/31/2016Amazing! We ended up with Fireside by default when we booked our wedding at the Fruitlands Museum, but I wouldn't pick another vendor if we could. Tim Holmes was so helpful through the whole planning process, and the food was DELICIOUS. We were asked by a guest if it was appropriate to cry about how good the steak was, and everyone went crazy over the gelato station. We also had a few guests with dietary restrictions and serious allergies, and all were accommodated seamlessly. -

He was amazingly accommodating and worked with us to perfect every last detail of our wedding. He was so easy to work with an really made the experience so amazing.
The food itself was INCREDIBLE. All of our guests raved about it. Cocktail hour, dinner, gelato and cider donuts, it was all wonderful. Working with Tim to create the perfect menu was a breeze and he was great about giving suggestions and taking our requests into account.
I would not hesitate to recommend Fireside Catering to anyone looking for unique, amazing, local food for their wedding. -

He was always punctual, informative, flexible, and genuinely interested in making our day special. Moe and the rest of the Fireside Catering staff were equally professional. The staff was all smiles and blended unobtrusively into our gathering of friends and family, and the food was fantastic. From start to finish, our ceremony and reception were joyful and worry-free, and this is largely due to their experience and competence.
The site is beautiful, and despite rain from Hurricane Arthur, Fruitlands was the perfect venue for our wedding. The views on Prospect Hill are stunning, and under the tent with the rain outside, it was intimate and romantic.
We have no second thoughts about choosing Fruitlands and Fireside for our wedding, and we look forward to visiting them for future anniversaries.

From the first conversation, Maura knew exactly what we were going for, even if we didn't have specific foods picked out. She helped design a menu that fit the outdoor summer setting, while showing off the New England flair we wanted our guest to enjoy. Fireside catering is partnered with our Venue, which took a lot of the stress out of finding a caterer. One of the huge things that sold us on our venue and on Fireside Catering was their attention to dietary needs and restrictions. They ask for individualized notes on every guests' dietary needs and the chefs work to build individualized meals to meet all of those needs.
The food was wonderful! The braised short rib appetizer, and the oysters on a half shell were huge hits. The miso cod, a classic dish, was superb and easily the best wedding meal I've had.
Laura was our wedding planner and day of coordinator from Fireside and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was very prompt and prepared and helped us to stay on top of all of the planning. She was always quick to respond to questions and worked with us to overcome problems that we faced. She went above and beyond to handle small issues as they came up on the wedding day and things ran smoothly, due mainly to her and Susan's hard work and forethought. You cannot go wrong hiring Fireside Catering for your wedding!
