If you had asked me to describe what I was looking for in a wedding planner, Finni went above and beyond all expectations. She had an intimate understanding of the wedding industry and stakeholders within Seattle and gave us a comprehensive list of recommendations for all our needs. Each of the vendors we selected were brilliant and already had a great working relationship with Finni. She was with us every step of the way and was an absolute godsend the day of the wedding. She was willing to work with us on strange hours while my spouse and I were out of the country for the entire year for the wedding! Her responsiveness to any and all inquiries we would have throughout the planning phase was incredible, and her ability to incorporate multiple faiths and cultures was extremely helpful.
I'll give one anecdote that highlights how great she was. During our reception, it was becoming clear to Finni that the time we had with our photographer would expire in the middle of the dancing phase of the reception. Finni took proactive steps and spoke with my mother to ask for her permission to pay the photographer for an extra hour. When my mother said yes, she went ahead and paid the photographer up front with her own money for an extra hour to ensure he would capture the dancing. She did all of this without stressing me out and letting me and my spouse enjoy the night in blissful ignorance.
This is who you get when you hire Finni. She is someone who provides comprehensive support, both before, during, and after the big day. Out of all the money we spent on the wedding, Finni was easily the most valuable service we spent on. Thank you again Finni. -

As a type A person, I once dreamed of planning and coordinating my wedding. When I hired Finn and started working with her, I soon realized that hiring her was one of the best decisions I made. Finn utilizes all sorts of tools to make you feel most prepared for your big day. I recommend you hiring her for wedding design and not just coordination. Where her skills and calm demeanor shined the most was the day of the wedding. Despite the occurrence of various small and big incidents, she made it a smooth operation at the end. I don't want to imagine how it would've been without her. Go ahead and book her! -

We worked with Mary Gerrity, who was our wedding coordinator. She was incredible to work with, always responsive, and kept things running smoothly for us by working her magic behind the scenes leading up to and during our wedding. Mary wrangled all of our vendors on our behalf, and we knew she had our back to tweak and confirm details to ensure a smooth wedding day. We had full trust in Mary and would recommend her to any of our friends! -

Finn was absolutely incredible! I cannot say enough great things about her. She was extraordinarily professional, responded quickly to all my questions, and helped me feel calm throughout the whole process. She knew ALL the best vendors and helped with everything from the lighting, to finding the right florist, to finding the perfect gelato cart. She was also absolutely indispensable on our wedding day! I didn't have to worry about a thing and everything came together perfectly. I didn't know that a coordinator would be so important, but Finn made the day! If you are looking for someone, this is the person you want to have in your corner. -

Finn and Mary are absolutely amazing!! We hired Finn to be our partial-planner for our wedding and she helped guide us through everything, every step of the way. We were so lost in the wedding planning process and Finn was the best decision we made. She handled every detail, was creative in her ideas, patient in listening to our questions, and pleasant to work with. She designed our florals and we were blown away with how well everything turned out! She took our vision and made it happen. I am so glad we were able to have Finn's help and organization. Finn was a dream! We had a multi-day, DIY, complicated, rustic, remote wedding and Finn made it smooth and perfect. We noted on the way home that we couldn't have pulled it all off without her. It was everything we wanted and more we were so lucky to have her vision and calm helping us pull it all off. She also did all our floral arrangements to boot! Along with everything else, they were gorgeous. We'd highly recommend her without reservations. -

Do yourself a favor and book Finn for your wedding!
Working with Finn was the best decision we made for our wedding! Not only is she super knowledgeable, but her presence is extremely calming and reassuring. I’m an anxious person and every meeting Finn would put my mind at ease. She was always super quick to respond to my questions leading up to the wedding and then day of she was an absolute angel! She kept us informed of things going on but handled everything seamlessly. I was worried (as an anxious person) that I wouldn’t be able to relax on my wedding day but Finn took care of EVERYTHING. I literally didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She made sure I was having a blast and enjoying our day. I just wish we could get married again so we could keep working with her! Finni is simply amazing. She helped me plan an all outdoor wedding in Seattle and it was perfect! She was professional but also down to earth since our first meeting. I would say I wa a chill bride until the day before my wedding when it went from 85 and sunny to rain all day. 5 days before I made the decision to switch the tent for standing umbrellas- I was panicking. She handle it with such grace, allowed me to freak out a bit but calmed me down and promised me she would handle it - and that’s exactly what she did. She also did my florals and they were absolutely perfect!!! (And budget friendly). I’m not lying when I say I had the best wedding day I could ask for. Hire her you will not be disappointed! She also loves
Dogs and were obsessed with ours who was center of attention at our wedding. 10/10! -

Hiring Finn Events was the best decision we made for our wedding!
Finni was the day-of coordinator for our wedding at Captain Whidbey Inn in April 2023. She went above and beyond to acheive our vision and ensured our rehearsal, welcome dinner, and entire wedding day were executed flawlessly.
We wholeheartedly recommend her.
We specifically appreciated Finni’s clear communication before and during the wedding weekend, her attention to detail in preparing our venue, and her ability to collaborate with us, the venue, and our vendors during the wedding weekend.
Communication
-We met with Finni throughout the planning process to discuss our vision and decisions
-She was always responsive to our questions via email—responding within 1-2 days
-Her responses were always thoughtful and detailed, with recommended actions
-She also communicated on our behalf with key vendors—to ensure aligned expectations
-During the wedding weekend, Finni communicated her plan, priorities and location—and was available to us to discuss day-of decisions
Attention to Detail
-Finni’s plan for the weekend was oriented toward the smallest but critical details, including mapping indoor and outdoor electrical outlets on the venue property to be used by vendors
-She was responsible for decorating the dining room for our welcome dinner and wedding night reception— she did an incredible job bringing together florals and other decor with place settings, name cards and menus to create a transformative experience for our guests
-She brought us each our specialty drink as we were about to walk into the reception, so we didn’t walk in empty handed. She even remembered seeing the bride’s sequin jacket earlier in her cabin, and reminded her that she might want to put in on before the photographer left (and then ran and got it for her)
-She assembled all of our cards, slices of cake, leftovers, and polaroid photos in our cabin for us to discover and enjoy at the end of the night
Collaboration
-Finni was so easy and fun to work with—and she made a positive impression on our guests, venue staff, and vendors
-Finni’s services included a site visit to our venue—during which she guided us to ask the right questions
-Finni worked with our officiant to plan and run an effective rehearsal
There is a lot you can’t control when you plan a wedding. And there is a lot to do. But if you hire Finni, those things won’t matter—because she will help you, and she will remember to do the things, and you will have the most amazing wedding. -

Finn events is finncredible!
I cannot begin to recommend Finn Events more. Finn is an experienced event planner with an endless set of ideas, a passion for excellence, and she puts her clients excitement and goals first. She is exceedingly professional while being fun, and has earned the much-deserved respect of her many vendors across the industry.
I hired Finn Events to execute our annual fundraising gala last year and she delivered a stunning event that exceeded expectations, drew a crowd or attendees that was 60% higher than the year prior, raised more funds than anticipated, and set our organization up for what we expect will be an even more fabulous event this year.
Finn is detail-oriented and balances all those critical details with the big picture experience that only years of event execution and a creative mind can pull off.
I doubt I'll ever use a different event planner for any event going forward. If you choose Finn for your event--whether a wedding, a corporate event, or a gala, you will have a wonderful steward of your dream and have people complimenting you for years to come. -

Hiring Finni was the best planning decision we made! We live in New York and the wedding was in Tacoma so we really needed a wedding planner who is knowledgeable, skilled and detail-oriented. With Finni, we got all of the above and more!
We hired Finni for full service wedding planning for our Sangeet, wedding ceremony and reception (a 2 day event), and from day one she showed a real passion for our vision and frequently went above & beyond to ensure our vision could be realized. She was a great combination of creative and practical - allowing us to try different things while also staying on top of timelines & budgets. Our wedding was an Indian/American fusion wedding, and Finni was very culturally sensitive - asking questions, helping us envision the perfect fusion wedding. She was also a joy to work with & actually made the many months of planning pretty fun.
The entire wedding weekend was an absolute dream with Finni handling many of the coordination responsibilities. We’re really lucky to have found Finni and you would be too! -

With an initial destination wedding plan cancelled, my husband and I were scrambling to put a wedding together in WA. Finding Finni is the best thing that could've happened to us. She helped organize us and find a venue, narrow down vendors, deal with family drama, and everything in-between. She took the time to really listen to what was important to us and turned it into reality. Aside from being a miracle worker, she's also just one of the sweetest people you'll meet which was the cherry on top. We can't recommend her enough and it would be a miss not to work with her. -

Not only is Finni friendly, professional, and experienced, she is creative and innovative. My now-husband and I liked components of what felt like every idea and photo we came across for our wedding. Finni listened to us, heard what we liked and wanted, and helped us find a cohesive vision and plan for our wedding day. She’s extremely organized, supportive and soo easy to work with. She’s also very responsive and her demeanor at all times was reassuring and calming. It definitely got nerve-wrecking and stressful towards the end. But ultimately, on our wedding day, neither of us had to worry about a thing for our ceremony and reception. Finni was a leader of our ideas and coordinated with our other vendors flawlessly. Finni helped me in all aspects of wedding planning. My now husband and I decided to get married before he was deployed by the Air Force and Finni helped us pull together and unforgettable wedding in under 2 months. Finni was available to take more than a couple of my frantic calls and quickly put my mind at ease. Our California wedding was intimate and had little personal touches throughout. She gave us the idea for a bunch of tiny cakes because we could not decide which flavor was our favorite, which was a huge success. I honestly don't even know where to start to attempt to relay how amazing Finni is. I began working with her through the MV Skansonia and then followed her when she branched off to form her own company, Finn Events. Through every step of the process, Finni went above and beyond to make planning smooth- even with a COVID delay- and our wedding and reception spectacular. I've helped plan weddings before, and can't tell you how much weight was taken off of the shoulders of this Type A bride to have Finni's quick responsiveness, attention to detail, and kind presence by my side. She took care of so many things I'd never have thought of and never have expected to have done for me, including setting up every last bit of the wedding decor I DIY'd.
If you're considering hiring an event coordinator, I assure you Finn Events is the way to go. If your event is even a fraction as perfect as Finni made my wedding, you'll be thrilled!
