Amazing vendor.
My flowers were exactly what I envisioned for my day and it was all thanks to Linda. It was so easy to choose the style based on the variety of choices in her Instagram account. I had no idea about flower names but she walked me through the whole process. I had a couple of requests to personalize them and she was so kind and allowed me to have that. My whole experience since contacting the vendor, booking and the final result were amazing. Love this vendor 100% recommend. -

Working with Linda of Finishing Touches was seamless. I had a hard time visualizing how the flowers would turn out & what types of flowers she would use. Linda took the time to explain & draw a sketch to help ease my mind. She was attentive & responsive & reasonably priced! We can’t thank Linda enough for the beautiful detailed bouquets she displayed at our wedding! -

Linda was an absolute dream to work with! She worked with me to imagine my dream bridal bouquet and floral decorations, and then executed it perfectly. I can truly say that the final product was even better than my wildest expectations! Linda has a incredible creative eye and can work with you to figure out what colors, shapes, and textures will go together to create bouquets and arrangements that will not only look beautiful, but will also complement the rest of the wedding details and look amazing in photos. Linda and I first brainstormed in person, to get an idea of the overall vibe for my favorite flowers, colors, textures, etc. Then I created a "vision board" of our ideas for each bouquet, centerpiece, and arrangement (which I highly recommend doing, especially if you don't know a lot about flowers, because it can help you envision how they'll all "go" together). She communicated with us throughout the whole process, letting us know of any seasonal changes (for example, if this season's specific flower would look a little smaller than expected, etc.) and provided options and suggestions for us at every step of the way. She also gave us previews of the boutonnieres so we could see them in real-time and make adjustments as needed. She was so thorough! On my wedding day, the flowers couldn't have been better. Every detail was perfect. Thank you SO much Linda!! -

Best Floral Service!
My husband and I got married at Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, CO. Linda, who is based in Loveland, was absolutely spectacular in servicing to this location. She was quick to respond with any questions or changes I had throughout the whole process. She made my floral vision truly come true. Not only were the flowers STUNNING, Linda was there to set the floral arrangements up on wedding day seamlessly without needing anything from me. -

PERFECT Wedding Flowers!
Linda with Finishing Touches is fantastic! She provided my wedding florals (bouquets, boutineers, table arrangements, large floor arrangements, arch installation, wall installation and chandelier installations!) She can do it all! And she makes it all beautiful. She's knowledge, communicative and experienced. I recommend her to anyone in the NOCO area! -

It is a daunting task to plan a wedding from out-of-state, but when you have the right vendors, the experience can be pure joy. This is the way I felt when I hired Linda May from Finishing Touches Colorado. Linda is an excellent listener and helped hone my vision for the wedding flowers and reception. She had a plethora of creative and detailed suggestions to crystallize my ideas into reality. I had several lengthy and detailed phone conversations with Linda leading up to the wedding. She would reach out to me on several occasions with ideas and suggestions about flowers as well as non-flower-related wedding ideas and referrals to help me (ie. fly abatement, hair/make up artists, etc.). She came out to the venue, my daughter’s horse ranch, to finalize all the floral details and to take the authentic boots and other decorations she was going to use to make aisle and table arrangements.
The array of flowers she used brought together all the other elements of the wedding venue into a cohesive and stunning display of beauty. The bridal bouquet (with two hanging horseshoes) was elegant and fit the style of my daughter’s wedding gown. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were colorful, classy, and had the added touch of a horseshoe cascading from the bouquet. The boutonnieres enhanced each of the groomsmen with natural grasses and a bit of color, and the pearl wrist corsages were elegant and complemented the outfits of the mother of the bride and groom. Linda painstakingly decorated each dinner table with a colorful, yet natural array of mixed flowers and grasses arranged into a boot. The head table was elegant with the burlap garlands and the arrangements she created and affixed on top of cowboy hats. The buffet table had a large, double boot arrangement which enhanced the food display. Linda added elegant flowers on the dessert table to complement the cutting cake and array of other desserts. She decorated each wood stump along the aisle, decorated a saddle which was used as a guest book, and even created flower clusters for three of the horses, who were incorporated into the wedding and guest pictures.
This wedding had many logistical problems such as extreme heat, an outdoor ceremony with the sun beating down on the flowers, and dusty conditions. Linda May worked for hours at the venue and waited until the last moment to put out the flowers so they wouldn’t wilt. She even placed sand into each boot so it wouldn’t fall over. She hand carried arrangements from the wedding ceremony and placed them onto tables. Linda added many extra touches that she wasn’t being compensated for such as a throwing bouquet, an extra wrist bracelet that we had forgotten to include, and additional decorations along the aisle, bar, and other areas.
Linda May approached this wedding as a labor of love. My father was a florist and I shared a story with her about how he used to take a little “swipe” out of each wedding cake he decorated for good luck. In Linda’s wedding contract and notes, she wrote, “Take a swipe out of the cake.” There are services you cannot pay for and Linda gave of herself in a way that transcended the definition of “florist.” She created a memorable, elegant, personalized, and sentimental beauty that will be talked about and remembered for a long time to come. -

She did it all! Made multiple mock-ups for this picky bride, excellent communication, and absolutely beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and floral touches from ceremony to reception! She even allowed me to have a few decor pieces delivered to her, so I didn’t have to travel with it. She made planning my big day from states away much easier on me!!! I recommend her to anyone getting married in Estes or surrounding! She knocked everything out of the park!!! Thanks so much again Linda, our day was perfect thanks in part to you! ❤️ -

Unbelievable Florist!!!
Linda from Finishing Touches was a perfect hire for my wedding. From the very beginning, she was very easy to communicate with and she made the planning process so smooth! I do not know a lot about flowers, but just explained what I was looking for and she made my vision come to life. Everything from my bouquet, the groomsmen boutonnieres, my ceremony arch was more beautiful than I could have every imagined. She really listened to what I wanted and what I didn't want for my wedding. I was able to rent vases for my table centerpieces from Linda so I did not have to personally purchase vases. I am thankful for that because I did not have to do any of the work buying and more importantly storing vases. Linda and her crew also set up and took down the centerpieces for my wedding which made things so easy and stress free. Bottom line is that Finishing Touches was affordable, easy to work with, and created the most beautiful arrangements for my wedding. -

Most Beautiful Flowers Ever !!!
Best florist ever. Finishing Touches Floral was top shelf!!! Linda was recommended to me by Leonard Kiel DJ with Colorado Sound. Her arrangements were stunning. Linda hand delivered our arrangements to the hotel, helped the boys put on their boutonnieres securely, she decorated the tables at our reception beautifully. I was trying to save money and not use a florist however Linda was worth every penny. She understood my budget. Linda pulled the whole room together. I will never forget it !!! -

Linda is very talented and was able to make our thoughts a reality, even when we couldn't provide very clear or even the same direction. Our flowers turned out perfectly, and truly accented the sense of place and beauty of our environment. One of the main reasons we selected Linda, was that before we received a quote she met with us in person and customized the quote based on our needs...as opposed to others who provided general quotes after having a quick call. She also recommended certain pieces, and reusing pieces, so that we could stay within our budget. -

Linda was amazing! We described a dreamy garland for a wedding arbor and other bridal flowers. It was as if she was inside my mind. Our wedding was a small family wedding as the groom was immigrating from London. She treated our wedding as if it was the biggest event around. Perfection! A dream to work with
Linda at Finishing Touches was a delight to work with for our wedding flowers. We really wanted a lot of herbs and greenery in the bouquets and spreads. She came up with beautiful arrangements that incorporated rosemary, mint, and silver dollar eucalyptus. We got a lot of compliment on the arrangements. The best part is she was TOTALLY reasonable in price. I would absolutely recommend her services. -

Linda is amazing at not only her wonderful floral designs but being so personal in the making! I have little to no knowledge on floral designs or kinds of flowers and she educated me and made it so easy! I always felt like I was her priority. Like many brides before me, I called and met with several florists before I found Linda and Finishing Touches. I even drove an hour, one way, for a meeting with one that could've been done over the phone. I was lucky enough to meet Linda at a food tasting at our venue. She was incredibly knowledgeable as well as personable. The icing on the cake: my soon-to-be mother-in-law loved her! When setting up our first sit down to talk specifics, Linda was very accommodating and met me close to my home. As we talked (for two to three hours!) Linda sketched out ideas for each floral arrangement complete with notes about flowers and colors. Linda and her team at Finishing Touches are extremely thorough and talented. Even though I made several changes leading up to the Big Day, there were no mistakes, or complaints, and everything was perfect! ON the Big Day Linda was there herself to set up and stayed to take down the arrangements. She really went above and beyond. If you don't at least sit down with this fantastic and talented florist, you're really missing out. -

The quality of her service is high and she has one obligation: to make a bride happy and to not burn her pockets! I would recommend using Linda for any special event. I feel as if her service is a little hidden tresure in Fort Collins that only the "best" know about. I would use Lina for many more get togethers and functions. Her ideas are AMAZING and she really knows how to help out with centerpieces and ideas.

Linda is so wonderful to work with. She is so flexible and understanding. I asked for an extra corsage last minute and she was able to add it on with no problem. I think we had a slight miscommunication about something that I didn't order, but it wasn't a big deal and everything ended up perfect. I got so many compliments on my flowers. All were gorgeous! I would definitely recommend her. She likes getting pictures of your vision, which was nice to collaborate on. -

We at first had simple sunflowers and lavender, but she helped us give them more depth by adding different sized sunflowers and blue bella donnas, as well as adding herbs in the aisle runners. Her office was right next to our caterer's, which made it easy as well as comforting knowing that Linda and Vincent have worked together before. Her prices were very reasonable and she took attention to all the details, including how the ribbons were wrapped on the flowers, colors, and height/length. Our only thing was that she kept calling me by the wrong name. I tried to point it out multiple times without sounding catty, but she corrected it before the wedding! :) She also created great arrangements for the buffet table and cake table, my mother-in-law even ordered one from her for our rehearsal dinner! Linda is fun to talk to and she set up every centerpiece and arrangement (had extras for some of them, not all) and stayed through the beginning of cocktail hour so that she could move items from the ceremony to the reception so other staff didn't have to, which was great! -

The wrong colors
Unfortunately I did not have the best outcome with Linda. Let me start by saying that the flowers were beautiful and she was very sweet but she totally missed the mark. They were completely the wrong colors. I wanted pink and burgundy wildflowers and they were red, blue, and purple with white roses. I cried when she showed me a sneak peak. She did make some adjustments by taking out some roses so they were less floral but they didn't include our wedding color of rose pink at all. They clashed with the bridesmaid dresses and the whole reception was purple (which I'm not a fan of) instead of pink like I wanted. Very sadly disappointed. If you don't have a specific vision she's great and does wonderful work but I can't say I'd recommend her. -
