We hired Fig Media, specifically Brent Rolland, to DJ our wedding after party. We met with Brent and shared our very specific vision for our after party - we wanted it to feel like a college bar from 2010-2016, and music played a very heavy role in setting that vibe. During the call, Brent had the most fun, positive energy and took time to really understand the vibe we wanted. At the wedding after party, he absolutely killed it. He had people singing along and dancing until the party closed down at 2AM. Brent was a pleasure to work with, brought such an uplifting energy, and really helped transform our vision into reality. We are so appreciative of him! -

If you want curated vibes rather than a traditional "wedding DJ" plus incredible customer service, go with Fig! The entire team, including Michele, Brent, and Mukta, are a dream to work with and made everything super easy. Our DJ Betty absolutely killed it as an MC and with the music selections. She incorporated the small playlist and must-play songs we provided along with some real crowd-pleasers. We had way more guests out on the dance floor than we expected, while keeping the volume manageable enough for our family and friends to continue their conversations throughout the whole reception. Definitely recommend! -

From the moment we first met Marcus, it was clear that we were working with a true professional. He not only listened attentively to our musical preferences but also offered valuable suggestions to create the perfect ambiance for our special day.
On the night of our wedding, Marcus absolutely CRUSHED it & exceeded our expectations. The music selection was flawless, catering to guests of all ages and musical tastes. He effortlessly read the crowd, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty. The transitions between songs were seamless, creating an energy and flow that kept the party alive until the very end.
In addition to his remarkable technical skills, he also demonstrated an exceptional ability to engage with our guests. Marcus was not just a DJ but also an entertainer, making announcements with enthusiasm and charm, and effortlessly connecting with everyone present.

Megan Taylor is simply the best DJ in Chicago, and Fig Media were a joy to work with. We were lucky enough to book Megan for our wedding, and although she is more expensive than your average DJ, she is worth every penny. She provided such great energy for the event and kept the dance floor packed all night. Since the wedding, everyone - from our grandparents to our friends - have been raving about how great she was. Not to mention the saxophone accompaniment that she recommended, who played over the top of her music and provided an energy boost for an hour in the middle of the night. Our special day truly would not have been the same without her.

Working with Brent and Fig Media was one of the best parts of the wedding process. The team was prompt from the start, open to our suggestions, and had guests asking for the wedding playlist days after the wedding. Highly recommend working with the team if music and a rocking dance floor vibe is important to you. -

DJ Megan Taylor from Fig Media
DJ Megan Taylor was the most AMAZING DJ that we had the pleasure of having for our reception in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. She brought such amazing energy and kept everyone dancing until 2AM. I cannot imagine a better vibe and dance floor. She kept everyone engaged and had music spanning the age range of our guests, which was 18 all the way to 93. -

We decided to go with Fig after seeing that they were tagged in an Instagram post for another wedding held at our venue. We met with Brent and he was delightful to talk to, he was very personable and genuine, it was an easy choice to go with Fig.
Chris was our DJ day of -- we got lots of compliments on the music and folks have already reached out to us to ask who our DJ was. Chris did a great job reading the vibe of the room ESPECIALLY during the Mother/Son and Father/Daughter dances. Chris must have heard me and my dad saying "wow this is a very long song" as we entered into the third minute of awkwardly dancing in front of a room of people because he faded it out perfectly and you couldn't even tell that wasn't where it was supposed to end. Would definitely recommend Fig. -

Could not have had a better experience for our wedding than we did with Fig Media and our DJ, Brent. From inquiry to the party itself he was so organized, understanding, and truly brought something extra to our big day! The team is proactive and really wants to get to know the couple and what they are looking for and then executes perfectly. He even DJ'd our morning ceremony and nailed our Indian/Western fusion needs. You know it's a good DJ when multiple people text you afterwards asking for the playlist (which Brent of course sent us a day after our wedding!)! -

I have nothing but praise for Fig Weddings! Brent was our DJ for our September wedding, and he truly was incredible. From the beginning he was responsive and professional - we had both a Zoom and in person meeting prior to the wedding, and he took the time to get to know our whole story and how we wanted our day to look. On our wedding day, he was organized and professional - everything was perfectly set up and ready to go. He did the sound for our ceremony as well, and it went so smoothly. He is high energy and really engages everyone at the wedding! We had so many people tell us after that he was "the best DJ they had ever seen". His music choices were great and the dance floor was full the entire night. When we told him that my husband's grandparents would both be at the wedding (married for over 60 years), he had us find out their wedding song and he played a very special moment for them on the dance floor. We cannot recommend him enough!! -

Right from the start, everything was seamless and organized, making it one less thing I had to stress about in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding. We had the BEST experience working with Brent Rolland from Fig Media for our wedding at the MCA Chicago in July 2021! We initially read his profile on the Fig site and knew he’d be a great fit for our music taste, but we were incredibly blown away when we finally met him and discussed our vision for the wedding. Essentially, Brent understood the assignment. :)
Brent's so professional, thoughtful, and takes great care of his clients. He took time to learn about us as people and our music preferences. He also helped us create our music flow for the entire event from ceremony to close (i.e. acoustic ceremony, house cocktail hour, r&b dinner, 70s / 80s then current hits for dancing). When we needed recommendations for cake cutting, first dance etc. on short notice, he pulled together an entire playlist with songs for us that suited our taste. Brent emcee-ed and transitioned from event to event flawlessly, and set the mood perfectly throughout the entire wedding. We also appreciated how he stayed in touch with us throughout the early stages of the pandemic when we had to postpone our wedding to just check in with us, and he was really flexible about any music change requests we had over time.
Even months after our wedding, our friends and family continue to rave about Brent and how great the music was. The dance floor was packed the whole time and no one was ready to stop dancing by midnight. We love Brent and 100% would recommend him forever and ever - thank you so much Brent!

Brent from Fig Media was the perfect DJ for our intimate wedding dinner party in November of 2020. Due to the changing circumstances of the year, we hired Brent only 4 weeks prior to our wedding. Brent was extremely responsive, and took the time to understand our story and our intentions for the event. He was extremely accessible and took the time to learn about us, our tastes and our music preferences for the evening (all via Zoom calls from his home office). It felt like working with a friend rather than a vendor. During the night of the event he executed everything flawlessly and we received many compliments. We loved his song selections, and he even added a few that surprised us that tied into the theme of our engagement and the speeches of our guests. He cares about his clients and took our satisfaction very seriously. He even helped us to finalize the timeline of the evening. He was very classy and very professional. After the event he even sent us the playlists he created from the night so that we could relive our evening. You should feel confident hiring Brent from Fig Media for your event. Absolute pleasure to work with this crew! They did a great job during our COVID micro wedding. Brent had set everything up before hand via Zoom and email to go over details and how we'd like things - including getting to know us, which I believe is the most important. In addition, Marcus our DJ, did Zoom with us and really got a feel for what we wanted. Great energy and vibes! He did a fabulous job at our wedding! On time, wore a mask the whole time, collaborated with our event planner and team, communicated with us periodically as some schedule changes happened. Everyone LOVED his music!! I can't think of any of my guests who didn't love what he played. He got really creative and some songs you didn't think we're going to lead into what they did and he totally nailed it. Honestly, one of my favorite DJs I've heard at a wedding! Thank you Fig for making our wedding day the best despite the challenges with COVID. Music is our thing and we had the best DJ!! -

Brent Rolland of fig media = the best!
We hired fig media's Brent Rolland to be our DJ for our January 2020 wedding. He was wonderful! He was professional in meeting with us first online to gauge our personalities and expectations. He then held a follow-up meeting in-person wherein he further helped guide us in preparing for the big day. He also worked with our other vendors, such as our day-of coordinator and photographer, to make sure events flowed seamlessly. As for being an emcee….wow! We got so many comments from attendees, even now, that they loved our DJ! He’s got a great voice. It’s both enthusiastic and calming, which helps set a joyous tone. We loved Brent! Having Fig Media as the music provider for our wedding was the best decision we made! Megan Taylor was the most entertaining DJ we could have ever asked for. The dance floor was full the entire night and our guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing our DJ was!
We've had multiple friends ask for Megan as a referral and even more asking for a copy of the playlist she played. She did an amazing job reading the crowd and seamlessly transitioning through the various genres we wanted to include in our night. Brent Rolland was the DJ for our wedding, but played a much bigger role than expected in the best way possible. He was extremely professional, knowledgable, fast to respond, easy to work with, and organized throughout the entire process (Didn't hurt he was a Star Wars fan!). He was very flexible meeting with us and felt like we were working in an old friend instantly. He came to the wedding rehearsal which everyone was very impressed by and wanted to walk us through what would be going on so we felt ready. He was the master of ceremony at our wedding and worked his butt off to make sure everything went perfectly smooth, which it did. Once the dancing started Brent had a ton of energy and our families LOVED him. The music was great, he was great. I will be recommending Brent to anyone I know and I look forward to keeping in touch with him going forward. -

Shannon Sent on 08/06/2018For our July 2018 wedding, my husband and I chose Fig Media for our dj music. We chose Fig Media, and specifically DJ CJ Paz, after my sister attended a wedding in which CJ was the dj and said everyone was dancing the entire time.
I called last year for a consultation with Brent and he couldn't have been nicer. He set us up with CJ and we all decided to work together for our July 2018 wedding. CJ and Brent sent over a very nice, detailed planning form which greatly helped my husband and I explain to CJ what our vision was and what kind of music we like. After we finished the form, we also met with CJ in person to go over it and just meet him! From the moment we met him, we knew he would be awesome and he was so friendly. I knew with all of his experience he would be the perfect dj and so awesome. Even before the wedding, CJ helped reassure me with last minute details and making sure some of our parents' music requests were accommodated as well, haha. He also played our cocktail and dinner music to songs we had asked for. I felt very comfortable already having chosen CJ and Fig Media for our big day.
CJ Paz was PHENOMENAL our wedding night. For 3 and a half hours, our dance floor was packed!! (we had 180 guests). Our guests (and us too!) could not stop dancing. The whole night and next day, CJ was one of the number one things guests told us that made our wedding so fun, and in their words, the best they have gone to. The way he mixed the music was incredible and how he incorporated all of our music tastes (which are a wide variety). Dancing is very important to us and both of our families and all of us could not have been happier. It was a non stop dance party! I had so many people ask me how I found CJ and just commenting on how great of a party it was due to the dancing and the music. He is so talented.
We cannot thank CJ and Fig Media/Brent enough for helping us throw the best party and celebration of our lives! -

My now husband and I decided to do a shotgun wedding and had 2 weeks to plan it. Fig Media was able to find an amazingly talented photographer. We didn't have time to meet with Brian so I just sent him some inspiration pictures of the style that I was looking for and hoped he was able to capture my ideas. When I got my pictures back- I was floored! They were exactly what I wanted! I would definitely recommend Fig Media for any production you need. The team members, like Brent Rolland & Brian Carey are all talented, professional, and the easiest people to work with. You will be in great hands with Fig Media!
