Fifi was amazing to work with. She did a beautiful job on the alterations, the wedding dress had lots of delicate beadwork that she kept intact while also making sure the dress fit me perfectly. She always made me feel like such a princess whenever I put on the dress, which always made going in a fun time!

Dress of My Dreams
Not only does Fifi have beautiful quality dresses at great costs, her tailoring is immaculate. She puts heart and care into every bride. As a plus sized bride I was nervous I wouldn’t find anything in time (I had a short engagement), but Fifi instantly assured me she was going to help me and she went to work right away. I instantly felt at home with her and when I told her what I envisioned she helped me find the dress of my dreams. Everyone keeps talking about my dress even after the wedding. I now moved out of state, but I still plan to make the five hour trip to work with Fifi again. She is actually preserving my dress (another service she offers) as we’ll speak. She is the ONLY one I trust to do so.

Fifi's helped me find and fit the perfect wedding dress for my special day!
I bought my wedding dress at Fifi's and I am so happy that I did! The entire process, along with both Amanda and Fifi, was so perfect and happy. Amanda was able to completely understand what I was looking for in a dress and helped my find the absolute perfect dress for me. She was so kind the entire process and made the whole process, which I was worried would be stressful, so light and joyful.
Fifi was able to alter my wedding gown to fit me like a glove!! I live in Baltimore and had my wedding in the Chicago suburbs so I was only in town a few times. In only two appointments she was able to do everything needed to my dress. She also helped guide me in the right direction for the perfect jewelry to wear.
I am so thankful for them. :)

Fifi and her daughter are absolutely amazing humans! You will not be disappointed when arriving, they treat you like family and make you feel so comfortable. They have an eye for your vision and they execute it flawlessly. Fifi’s bridal and custom tailoring is your one stop shop. Not only does it carry off the rack options that are absolutely drop dead gorgeous gowns but also alterations are conveniently done there too! I got engaged back in November 2021 I went to hundreds of stores even traveled out of state in hopes to find my vision of my dress with no luck. Time was running out and I couldn’t order a dress anymore I only had time to buy off rack. June 6th 2021 I found Fifi! The first dress she had me try on was the dress I bought! I’m telling you Fifi is my fairy godmother and her daughter is my Angel! If I could give more stars I would!

An outstanding experience!
Fifi was absolutely AMAZING! I brought in my wedding dress (the boutique I bought mine from ordered a size way too short) and Fifi reassured me that she could help and add lace at the bottom and no one would notice. She did a FLAWLESS job and I now feel so confident and beautiful in my dress. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my wedding dress except her. The whole process was amazing. I came in as a stranger and left as family. Her daughter Amanda was so amazing to work with too. Honestly, working with Fifi and her daughter has been one of the best parts of my wedding planning experience. I’ll be sure to add pictures after my wedding. :) HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have to say - going to Fifi’s was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. I made it to the week before my wedding date when I realized I never got alterations done for my dress and I scrambled for a seamstress to take me in. Every place I called either said I was crazy or never returned my calls. Fifi responded right away, made me appointment for the next day, and didn’t make me feel awful for waiting so long. Fifi is kind, hilarious, honest, and does whatever it takes to make her clients happy. She managed to add a bustle, fix my sleeves, and shorten the length of the dress in 4 days. I felt more confident in the dress after seeing all the changes and I was just so blessed that Fifi took personal time to work on my dress. Her shop is gorgeous (I wish I had gone there to look at the wedding dress selection as well) and it’s amazing the variety of garments she does alterations on. Pricing is incredibly fair and you are going to get the most amazing service. I can’t recommend her enough and I look forward to going back in the future.

Fifi was my fairy godmother! The whole staff is so caring and very professional. Fifi truly is beyond talented! She brought my vision to life for all of my wedding events!! She helped me design and had my engagement party dress made, I got my bridal shower dress from her and she altered my wedding dress. Not to mention all the jewelry and accessories I got from her! All of my dresses fit me like a glove!!! She did such a beautiful job, I can’t even express how beautiful I felt on my wedding day! And to all of my wedding events for that matter! Fifi is the sweetest with amazing talent! I came to her with a very detailed and intricate wedding dress that was a floor sample that was 5 sizes too big and stained in some areas. She went through 3 alterations with me to ensure that it fit me absolutely perfectly, and she did not disappoint. The dress fit like it was absolutely made for me and had it cleaned and steamed like it was brand new. I purchased my wedding gown from Fifi and she made the entire experience fun and exciting. She was so patient with my indecisiveness and never pressured me to do anything. I’m so grateful that I found this place so close to home. To be honest I really wish I had shopped here for my dress because the dresses are absolutely gorgeous. I had my wedding dress altered here kind of last minute. I lost some weight from the time I originally got it til now and it had to be taken in a couple inches. They were able to get it all done in time. They are all so sweet, personable, professional, and helpful! Fifi is AMAZING! I purchased my wedding dress at a different bridal studio and when it arrived, they had ordered the wrong size. My dress was 2 sizes too big. When I brought it to Fifi I was nervous because it was an expensive dress that required a lot of intricate alterations. Fifi was able to magically alter the dress to fit me perfectly. I cannot thank her enough for saving my dress! If I ever need alterations again, I would not even consider going elsewhere. Fifi is so talented, professional, and kind. I needed a place to get my wedding dress altered because the place I bought my dress did not do alternations. I had driven past Fifi's and decided to go with them after reading positive reviews. Fifi was wonderful to work with! She explained all the changes she was going to make with my dress at my first appointment and recommended I purchase a petticoat to provide more volume to the bottom of my mermaid style dress. I was hesitant at first but she had my try it on and I could really see what a difference it made. The finished product was beautiful and my dress fit me perfectly. I have brought back several other dresses since then and same great service.

I first heard about Fifi's from a friend of mine who went to Fifi to fix her blundered wedding gown alterations from another shop. My friend's gown turned out beautifully!
So naturally when it came time to look for mine we went to Fifi's. I was running late and Fifi pulled some dresses based on my friend's and family's recommendations (we had gone dress shopping before). We were looking for sample dresses since the wedding was only 3 months away. When she saw me she pulled additional dresses. And what an eye! The first dress she pulled after seeing me is the one I fell in love with!! I did not even want to try on others. However, Fifi suggested to try on another dress just to make sure - which is highly appreciated and shows how much she cares for her customers. Fifi will tell you the honest truth but will not pressure you. She takes the time to explain how the dress should be altered and why she is suggesting the alterations. The close timetable didn't make her sweat and she was very understanding. I know my dress is in good hands and I can thank her for helping me feel like a beauty on my wedding day! Highly Recommend!

I ordered my wedding dress from Fifi’s Tailor in Elmhurst. They carried a wide variety of Sophia Tolli dresses which was exactly what I was looking for. FiFi is very involved with every process in her business so I really felt like everything was in good hands. My dress arrived ahead of schedule and I was called immediately for my first fitting. She and her associates made everything much more comfortable and simpler. The shop is cozy and comfortable, the associates are knowledgeable and because I always met with them at specific appointment times, you really feel like the star. The alterations were perfect, and I was so happy with my dress on the big day. I highly recommend Fifi’s Tailor to anyone who really wants someone who absolutely knows what they’re doing to handle this huge part of your wedding.

By far the best place to go for your wedding needs. Fifi is an absolute treasure, and you can tell she truly loves people. She works so hard to make you happy and welcomes people in as if they're old friends. The store itself is lovely and filled with the most gorgeous dresses. Casablanca Bridal and Sophia Tolli are two of my favorite bridal lines. There are lovely seating areas for your bridal party, complete with 3 pedestals to stand on and see the gown from all angles. Make sure to stop by, meeting Fifi has easily been one of the best parts of my wedding planning experience.

Amazing experience with last minute dress change
I called Ms. FiFi 6 days before my wedding in search of a dress that made me feel beautiful and sexy. Without an appointment Ms. FiFi welcomed me in. She was very patient as I tried on dress after dress. It was the very last dress that originally was too tight, too long, and needed straps. She was able to alter the dress literally while it was on my body to fit perfectly. Ms. FiFi made all this possible in two days. I loved my wedding dress and felt beautiful on my wedding day.

Fifi and her team are wonderful! I bought a gown from David’s Bridal, and she hemmed and installed a bustle for me. She didn’t try to sell me on alterations I didn’t want/need. She recommended a petticoat, saying all her brides bought petticoats. I’m glad I followed her recommendation, as the petticoat made my gown fit better. Like I said, she listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to make me get any other alterations than what I had asked for. Altogether, including the petticoat, my hem and bustle alterations came out to about $500. I know David’s Bridal alterations start at $500, and I know I made a great choice. I love Fifi’s, and I’ll definitely go to her for any alterations in the future.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this shop was FANTASTIC!! The consultant ( Amanda) was so attentive and nice! She did not try to cell you on dresses that did not work for you. Also she picked out the dress I ended up with on the very first try! This was my first store I visited and was far my favorite experience!!

FiFi was amazing. She was recommended to me from where I bought my dress. I felt like I was behind schedule getting things done on my wedding to do list but she assured me my dress would be tailored before my big day. Having a small figure I was concerned that my dress was gonna need more adjustments the the usual. FiFi took the time to make sure I was happy with all the adjustments along the way. Even after the main fitting I came back in and she made additional adjustments. I was happy with the finished product. It fit beautifully and I felt beautiful! She also made sure that my bustle looked flattering and not some bundle of fabric. And took time to explain how to do it to my maid of honor. Thank you FiFi for everything! I definitely recommend to other brides or any sort or tailoring needed.

Fifi's shop is unlike any of the other bridal shops you will visit. The store layout is amazing. Wide space, excellent lighting with one big room specifically for alterations and another for trying on dresses.The fitting rooms are spacious and is the perfect environment to really see how the dress fits. Other bridal shops were very small and narrow and did not even compare to here. Beautiful shop. Fifi is also such a warm hearted and wonderful person. She treats each and every one of her customers with care and makes sure everything is right. She is extremely talented and has such beautiful dresses. Save your time and come to Fifi's!

My daughter shopped for a wedding dress at a couple well known larger bridal shops and was disappointed as she felt rushed and pushed into determining a style first. She had an idea of what she wanted as far as style but honestly, until you try different styles on, how do you really know.
The experience at FiFi’s was the complete opposite. There is only 1 bride during the appointment and you have the full attention of the owner and her team. She is very patient and helpful and allowed my daughter to go through the process of trying on diffent styles until she found the dress of her dreams.
Not only did we buy her bridal gown which was 2 pieces, we purchased a second shirt that FiFi transformed into something for comfortable for dancing. She worked with Alyssa to bring her vision to reality. Perfection. Thank you FiFi for wonderful service from beginning to end.

Fifi is amazing! She helped me make my dream dress come true. The original dress is from Jasmin galleria. But my veil, straps and all alterations are by Fifi. She even put a pocket in the back from my diabetic pump and no one could tell it was there. Everything about it was Cinderella and I could not imagine a more perfect dress! I was also constantly emailing her lol but she always responded to me and was so friendly all the time! Thank you!

My wedding dress was altered in here and perfectly fit to me. I did the hem and shoulder part. Fifi made the floor length for me in the front and keep chapel length in the back of the dress. The price is affordable and they she finish it quickly if you are in hurry. Alteration of the hem is always more pricey than the other parts. When I tried on the dress after the first alteration, fifi suggested to fix it a little bit to make it perfectly so I came back after a week for the final look. She wanted to give best look to her customer :)

If you are looking for a talented seamstress Fifi is the one to go to! Her boutique is clean, reasonably priced, and the staff is amazing. The ambiance is super chic and makes looking for your wedding dress an experience to remember. From the second you walk through the door you feel right at home with warm welcomes and bubbly personalities. Fifi is very good at what she does and she has an energetic personality that will be sure to keep a smile on your face.
I found my beautiful wedding dress at Fifi’s and she altered it to fit me like a glove! It was perfect and the accessories she has to offer are to die for! I bought both my dress and veil at Fifi’s and was not disappointed – I received SO many compliments and it could not have been done without Fifi and her team! There was NO STRESS in my bridal dress experience and that made the dress process and wedding planning so much easier ☺

If it was not for Fifi I would have never gotten the dress of my dreams. It was really interesting because I was at first reluctant to even try on my dress because I was 3 months post pregnancy and I was convinced it was not going to let good. Fifi is very good at what she does and could tell my body type and figure regardless of having just had a child. She convinced me to try it on and it was "MY" dress. (Every bride understands what that means.) While the dress was gorgeous I did request some additions to be made with some blue applique flowers and Fifi was happy to do it for me. She was so great throughout the entire process and I would not have been such a beautiful bride in the perfect dress without her. I would definitely stop to see her and talk to her when looking for that perfect aw inspiring dress for your wedding day. You cannot get any better care and attention than from Fifi. She loves what she does and she is amazing.

Fifi was so helpful and wonderful helping me find the dress of my dreams! I saw the dress in a magazine two years ago, from an Australian designer Sophia Tolli. So, I looked it up and found my wedding dress here at her beautiful boutique. When I came in, she was so welcoming and super energetic to have me try on a few dresses. But, the one from the magazine turned out to be the dress of my dreams. It took a bit of time, as she informed me it would to get it in, since the dress would be coming from Australia. But, when we came back to do our fitting it was so perfect! After all the alterations, the day I picked up the dress she kept informing me to call/face time her if we had any concerns with the dress on my big day. I felt so cared for, and knew I made the best choice getting my dress from her! She is very helpful, caring, and loving, and I encourage anyone looking for a dress to get it from her shop. I was looking on yelp for a place to buy my wedding dress and picked out 3 places to visit so when the day came, my mom and I went to the first store – Fifi'sBridal and it ended up being the first and only store we visited because I said OPA! to the dress at this awesome store. When mom and I came in, we didn’t have an appointment, just a walk in. We were seen right away and we told them what I was looking for and they were able to pick out a few dresses for me. I tried a total of 3 dresses but fell in love with the 3rd one I tried. After ordering the dress, it arrived in a timely manner and first fitting went well and during second fitting I brought the dress home. I got A line dress with sweetheart neckline and a lace jacket. It looked beautiful day of the wedding. I would recommend this store to all the brides because the whole experience from buying the dress to the fitting and alterations was great.

I just got back from picking up my dress, and WOW, Fifi and her team did an amazing job! My dress before was beautiful but a little (way) too big on me, and the alterations she did is perfect! Fifi was able to work with my schedule and give me advice on undergarments, as well as show me how a gown is really supposed to fit! If you're looking for someone to do alterations on your wedding gown (or any dress, really) I definitely recommend Fifi hands down.

I can not say enough great things about my experience here! The weekend prior I was in Dallas Texas looking for dress and it was nothing like the experience I had here. I work with Fifi and she was amazing! I told her what I was looking for and budget and she pulled all perfect dresses, which made it hard to narrow it down to one. All you have to do is call and make an appointment, Fifi will take care of the rest for you. When you walk into the store she will great you with a warm smile and make you feel like she's known you your whole life. Fifi will listen to your ideas and while she is listening she is taking what you've imagined and amplified it by 100. She will always go above and beyond. Fifi won't take no for an answer until you have tried everything. I am a plus size girl and she got me into my dream wedding gown, I didn't have to wear a bra (which is a big deal for me) and I felt like a queen on my wedding day. I originally found my dress at House of Brides in the city but wanted to buy my dress from a local shop with a more personal experience. I did some research and found Fifi! My dress was available and I went in and made the purchase that first day. Fifi was kind, honest, and extremely helpful when helping me make the final call on the dress. Over the next several months, I received multiple updates from Fifi and her team about the timeline of the dress and my upcoming appointments. At my first fitting, the dress seemed a bit uncomfortable, tight in the wrong places and so Fifi made some notes and at the second fitting, it fit like a glove. She was able to open the arm holes, tighten the dress around the bust, take in the waist all while keeping the beautiful natural form of the dress. My mom, mother in law and sister in law also had their dresses tailored at Fifi's due to the great experience. When I picked up my dress for the final time it was perfect. Thank you Fifi for making my day perfect!

Unfortunately for me I ordered it online from a retailer in China and it was 4 sizes too small. I didn't know wedding dresses ran so small! I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Fifi’s. I had just under five months to plan a medium-sized wedding and just like every bride, I wanted to make sure that I had the perfect dress. I had rushed and bought a discount thrift store dress which I quickly came to regret buying. Filled with dress regret, I came to Fifi’s the February before my May 7th wedding. Not only did Fifi and her assistant help me find a dream wedding gown that I loved, but they were patient with me as I tried on multiple dresses to make sure that I’d found “the one”. I shopped for my dress on my own so it was comforting to have Fifi and her assistant there to assist and offer advice. The dress I ended up picking was a Sophia Tolli dress that had a drop waist, a style that I didn’t even think I could pull off with my petite frame. Had it not been for Fifi’s keen eye, I never would have tried the dress that I ended up picking. Fifi had my dress ready by early April and that included 2 dress fittings. Most bridal salons take over six months to do what Fifi did in less than 3 months! I’d highly recommend Fifi’s to all brides. I had nothing but compliments on my big day regarding how stunning my dress looked:)

Fifi is amazing! She is friendly, personable, and makes the picking out a wedding dress process feel like the movies. She helped accessorize my dress and provided cold drinks and snacks to make me and my family/friends feel welcome. The place has a beautiful back drop so you can start to imagine your big day. This was the only shop that gave you hospitality and immediate service. She made a quick alteration on the spot in order to reduce my travels. Fifi even offered to face time my mom when bustling my dress because of course I picked a long train but also spent time with us to make sure my mom was comfortable with the bustle. Not only is she and her shop wonderful, her prices were also reasonable! I highly recommend Fifi's Bridal and Tailor Shop for a wedding or other special occasion!

I purchased my dress and veil from Fifi's, and had my dress altered there. I ended up spending more than I budgeted, and alterations were more expensive than I thought, but it was totally worth it. Everyone there is always super friendly, they were able to schedule my fittings around my crazy schedule, and my dress turned out perfect and on time. Even after a mixup when ordering my veil, they had it corrected within three days. They make this part of wedding planning as stress free as possible!

Fifi is an amazing indiviual. I went to several other dress shops before coming in to Fifi and hands down was my best experience. She carried the dress designer I was interested in, I already had a dress in mind going to my appointment. I tried it on and had some changes in mind to make it my own and to add a little more bling. Fifi was right there with me it was like she saw my vision too. She made my vision a reality and I couldn't of asked for anything more. She cares very much about her brides and she takes great pride to making them look amazing.

I needed a last minute alteration on my wedding gown and Fifi's was able to fit the dress quickly and beautifully. Other shops quoted huge rates for fitting my dress on such a tight (one week) timeline, but Fifi was able to do a great job for a reasonable fee.

I saw Fifi's shop at a bridal expo, I was supposed to get married in July 2016 but we had to change the date. I originally bought my first dress from Ebay but it the person who sold it misrepresented it and it was too small. My second dress was bought from Goodwill for $9.99, it fit that day but after a while it did not fit. I decided to bite the bullet and buy my dress outright because this would be my first time getting married. Fifi is so Loving and very accommodating; she made the process unforgettable. When I picked out my dress and she put the veil on I almost cried. Fifi is very professional, friendly and a wonderful person to work with. I would recommend her to any and every Bride for their special day.

I came to FiFi to have my dress tailored. She could not believe that the bridal shop from where I purchased my dress even sold it to me. It needed sooo much work. It was definitely NOT designed for my body type. But FiFi, with all her magical talent, completely transformed the dress, and I could NOT be happier with her. She is so kind and sweet and really actually cares about you and your happiness and her work. She is so pleasant and I am never going anywhere else for anything I need tailored. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her.

Fifi is wonderful! I had been to 15 bridal shops and was very discouraged but once I went to Fifi's Bridal, she took over and helped me pick what would be the best dress for me. Don't waste your time going to chain stores like David's Bridal & House of Brides, they will never wow anyone. Fifi really cares about her brides and wants them to look their absolute best. I've told many people where I bought my dress because she's the best! I got SO MANY compliments on my dress, as well as, the jewelry that I purchased at Fifi's. Even so, some friends want to borrow the jewelry for their weddings.

From the dress to the veil, jewelry, and fittings, Fifi had my best interest at heart, and had great expertise to make sure all would be perfect. At my second fitting, dress fit nearly perfectly with many meetings before the wedding to make sure all would run smoothly! Excellent 1:1 quality service made me feel like the only bride served! I bought my dress at Bella Bianca and since I am an out of town bride, I was not able to get my alterations done there since I could not make it back to the bridal salon during the week. They recommended that I call Fifi since she would be able to see me on weekends. I could not have been happier to be sent to her! By the time I was visiting her shop, I did not have a lot of time left before my wedding, but she made me feel at ease that she would be able to complete the alterations and work with my travel schedule. She was so kind and accommodating, and I felt very cared for as soon as my mother and I entered her shop.
Fifi's work and service was exemplary. She altered my wedding gown, my mother's gown and my rehearsal dinner dress (which needed alot of work.) Everything fit us perfectly, and overall, we had a great experience! I would recommend her to anyone in the area and to anyone looking for custom design or alterations. You can tell that Fifi really loves what she does. She seems to love working with brides and takes care of all of her customers. You will feel like a priority at all times, and you will be so happy with the result!

I cannot rave enough about how much I love Fifi and her business! Words can't describe how wonderful her bridal service is, and how she treats her customers/brides. It's not everywhere you go that you get greeted with a hug, and treated like a close friend! My wedding dress needed quite a few alterations and adjustments and Fifi worked with me week after week making sure that my dress was perfect...and it WAS! She did an absolutely stunning job! ALSO, my sister-in-law took her bridesmaid dress somewhere else, and they completely messed it up. I told her to take it to Fifi's and she did and Fifi's made it look brand new again! Fifi and her staff are amazing! I would tell every single bride that if you can make it to Fifi's, even if you it's a little bit of a drive, it's SO worth it! I recently Just got engaged in December 2014 and Fifi was my first as last stop for wedding dress shops to go to. From the moment I walked in her store I was greeting with welcome arms and by just such a kind and caring person. It was nice being helped by someone who was so excited to find you your wedding dress and to just be a part of your big moment. She gave honest opinions which is something you don't find too often. She didn't care about how much money you were going to spend at her store, but honestly about making you look perfect for your big day. She by far had the best dresses in stock. Her dresses were so beautiful, that I ended up buying my bridesmaids dresses their as well as my moms dress for my wedding. To continue my story about how amazing her dresses are, I also bought my engagement dress from her last week and had to get it altered because the size was too big. I had her alter my dress, and I can honestly go on and on about how beautiful she made my dress look. I have never got so many compliments on a dress before until now. Fifi IS THE BEST! I Seriously recommend her to EVERYONE! Please go to Fifi! You wont be let down!

Love, love...LOVE... FiFi! I had buyer's remorse on a sample dress. Fell in love with a Pronovias dress online. Long story short, while downtown Chicago vendors were a bit rude, FiFi was very helpful. She too didn't have that actual sample. But we talked about tailoring the first dress, tried on other dresses in her store but in the end, my heart was set on "Georgia." Since I had already tried on similar dresses elsewhere, I decided to order it without even trying it on. I absolutely LOVED my dress. Here's the thing. Planning a wedding is stressful. You quickly distinguish good service from poor service. From the moment I walked in the door on day one I was put at ease by FiFi. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fifi was more than just an alterations consultant...she was a friend. Fifi provided me with multiple appointments per my request until we got the dress 150% perfect. There were many nights that Fifi stayed extra late to see me as I worked in the city and couldn't make the usual appointment times. She worked very hard to make my dream dress a reality. I am a bit of a perfectionist and Fifi helped me with all of my crazy requests. She is very experienced when it comes to bridal dress alterations. She was also my voice of reason when I needed an outsider's perspective. I have started sending all of my friends and family to see her for their alterations needs. You cannot go wrong with Fifi. She is a true gem!

I can't say enough good things about Fifi. I was so nervous about getting the right dress for my daughter's wedding. In one day, Fifi helped me find the right dress and get it ordered. She followed up to make sure the dress came in on time and then immediately set up an appointment that was convenient with my busy schedule to take care of the alterations and make the dress unique to my personal wants. Once the dress was in, I had no concerns......I knew Fifi was working on it day and night to make sure it was beyond my expectations. She made me feel very special on my daughter's wedding day.
