One of our non-negotiables when planning our wedding was amazing food that featured our favorites. What we didn’t know was that working with Field to Table meant we’d end up with the absolute best meal we could have ever asked for. From cocktail hour to dinner itself, Field to Table helped craft our ideal wedding day menu with the freshest, most delicious ingredients. Their team was a joy to work with from the planning stage through to the execution.
Their entire team put so much care into our wedding and truly prioritized us every step of the way. Our tasting before the wedding just made us even more excited for our big day knowing that we would get to eat that meal again and that all of our guests would enjoy a great day of food! Everyone we talked to during and after the wedding mentioned how much they loved the food, which is exactly what we knew would happen from the moment we chose Field to Table.
Each appetizer and every bite of the dinner was exactly what we wanted when we were planning our wedding and we are so thankful that we worked with Field to Table to put together our ideal meal for our special day.

Where to begin.... Field to Table is the most delicious event and wedding catering you've ever tried. They curated a custom menu for us based on our food taste, and their chefs can literally whip up anything... and it's always delicious. We knew once we had our tasting that we had hit a home run. And of course, our guests are still talking about the fantastic food at our wedding to this day saying that it's the best wedding food they've ever had. Highly recommend!!! -

Without a doubt the best wedding food I've ever had
We reached out to them initially based on their reviews, but were sold without even having done a taste test based on the proposed menu they sent us based on the food questionnaire we did for them. They literally hit it out of the park and created dishes with our favorite ingredients and based off our favorite restaurants that we had never seen at a wedding before. Mini lobster rolls, shrimp taquitos, buffalo cauliflower, and fried devilled eggs, and those were just the apps! When we did our taste test I was amazed, it was like eating in a 5 star restaurant. I literally couldn't believe that the food would taste that good at the actual wedding. It did, and the portions were enormous. Guests were raving about the food and how they actually full after the food unlikely at many other weddings. They aren't cheap but the food result is 100 percent worth it. -

My husband and I wanted to do a wedding weekend experience for our wedding which included a rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour and reception for the wedding, and a farewell brunch the morning after. We were told by our wedding planner that Field to Table was the best of the best, and they definitely delivered! They curated menus for all three events for us; sticking to the themes and requests that we had (our rehearsal was on Cinco de Mayo and therefore we had a taco bar setup), and had no problem making changes to certain items that we didn't feel were fully "us". We got to have a private tasting to try out our proposed menu and we were blown away by the food. The private tasting was an intimate experience where we felt special by the cutest touches they added like a customized menu and writing of our names on a welcome chalkboard. All of the food was seriously so amazing - like 5 star worthy amazing. The whole team at Field to Table was easy to work with and shared in our excitement for the entire weekend. We often bragged to our friends and family about our wedding food, and to "just wait until they tried it!" We are still dreaming about many of the dishes they curated for our big day and we wish they had a restaurant so we could keep enjoying their food. -

The FtT team truly saved the day - we had a mix-up and were left without a caterer and they stepped in, spun up the perfect Southeast Asian-inspired menu for us and did a fantastic job. Many of our guests told us they have low expectations for wedding food and that this was easily the best food they'd had at a wedding. They hit it out of the park. -

Field to Table is hands down the best caterer I've ever encountered. Their food was phenomenal and I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they'd had at a wedding. Their team was incredibly communicative and made our day everything we wanted. Their menu's are fully custom and they make sure you get exactly what you want. 10/10 would recommend. -

Field to Table is spectacular! This is THE caterer to work with if you are having an event or getting married on the Central Coast. Like many other couples, we were a Covid couple that had to change their date 3 times, and Field to Table stuck with us through it all! Alex and his team are next level with their execution, professionalism and responsiveness. Their local and farm to table style dining is mouth-watering delicious. Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful and exceptional the appetizers and dinner were. They voted that we had the best wedding meal ever! This coming from a ton of fellow dietitians and foodies!!! We did family style dining and everything was flawless. Their staff is lovely. All of our fellow vendors could not speak highly enough as well of them and were stoked to be having dinner with them. They are worth the splurge. We can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be hiring them for future events. -

We chose FTT because of their amazing reviews, and it did not disappoint. Alex creates a curated menu for us and worked swiftly with changes. All our guests said the apps were the best (especially short rib sliders, bacon wrapped dates and ahi tuna) they had had! They were very flexible with modifications leading up to a few weeks of the wedding. Is highly recommend working with them to create a delicious food experience for your wedding! -

Field To Table was the first vendor we booked after finalizing our venue and date. I'd had their food at weddings before, and it was always exceptional, especially for wedding meals, which aren't always great because of the production on a large scale. But time and time again, I enjoyed some of the tastiest dishes I'd ever enjoyed ANYWHERE at weddings where Field To Table was the caterer! So we booked them as soon as possible for our own celebration.
At our menu tasting a few months before the big day, I knew I'd be happy with the choices, but my now-husband, dad, and wedding planner were also raving about each course coming out of the kitchen. Additionally, Field To Table's kitchen and tasting room in Nipomo are so lovely and a great, welcoming environment. It was such a fun part of the planning process to meet with Tracy and Alex and preview our wedding menu! I dreamed about our hors d'oeuvres (coconut milk ceviche, goat cheese croquettes, and ahi poke were my favorites) and the main course of macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi with creamed corn risotto -- just TYPING that makes me hungry for one of the most delicious dishes ever! On the wedding day, I refused to let servers clear my plate because I insisted on finishing my risotto after getting pulled away for sunset portraits and our first dance.
Field To Table also catered our rehearsal dinner (our guests are STILL talking about the zuppa toscana!) and late-night snacks at the wedding. My husband and I stood over the kitchen island at our venue after all our guests had left and enjoyed the leftover grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup -- YUM. I might have just been hungry after all the excitement of the evening, but I'm convinced that was the best grilled cheese I've ever had.
I'm pretty sure our guests will be talking about the food for years to come; Field To Table delivered the most incredible culinary experience for our loved ones, and we'll be forever grateful to them for taking such good care of us!! They went above and beyond, and I enthusiastically recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE hosting a wedding or event on the Central California Coast. -

Field to Table created the most amazing culinary experience that I could have imagined for my wedding day. First, they worked with my fiance and me to create a personalized menu that was both inventive and fit into our budget perfectly. Then, Alex continued communication with us consistently approaching the wedding day. Once, the day arrived, I cannot even begin to explain how amazing the food was. We had a family-style dinner that included sea bass, New York strip, seasonal veggies, risotto, two salads, and four unique hor d'oeuvres. All the food came out hot and in perfect timing. Many of the guests were shocked that it just kept coming! Plates full of steak and veggies covered the tables! It was seriously one of my favorite moments of the wedding day to see everyone light up at all this amazing food being set in front of them. Many people said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Cannot recommend F2T enough! -

The menu F2T created was absolutely incredible. Locally sourced, family style dishes that our guests could not stop talking about. Food can be often overlooked, overpriced, and usually quickly forgotten after weddings. However, with F2T it was the absolute opposite. They brought a simple sophistication to our Wedding that really shined through in every dish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and so delicious because of their attention to detail and quality of ingredients. If you want to be confident that your event’s food will be remembered in the best way possible, there is nothing better than F2T. We could not recommended them more for any special occasion. We only wish they would open a restaurant near us so we could eat this food more often! Thanks guys! -

Field to table was high end, and full service. Our original caterer got bought out during COVID, so we ended up with Field to Table. They took care of the table set up, and even placed our thank you/menu cards out on the plates for guests to see. Alex was quick to respond to all emails, and provided an amazing tasting experience. They were able to work with our menu requests, and accommodated GF guests with little placards. They helped set up the dessert table as well. I cannot recommend them enough! -

Alex and his team at FTT were nothing short of amazing for us. Our original venue had cancelled on us and we were left scrambling to hire all new vendors for our event.
I reached out to FTT and they made the entire process super easy and painless. They helped us figure out a menu and also all of the rentals that were needed that day. We got tons of compliments on our food and we were told that it was some of the best food people have ever had at a wedding.
I'd recommend FTT to anyone looking for a caterer in the Central Coast area. -

If dining is a priority on your wedding day, Field to Table is truly bar none. From the customized menu that included my groom and I's favorite ingredients, to the responsiveness in coordination, to the impeccable service on the day of our wedding, everything was just perfect. Chef Tracy, Alex, Sierra, Jill... we cannot say enough about their hard work and professionalism. The chefs and service team are top notch, and the quality of the ingredients and presentation are beautiful.
We served tray passed appetizers for cocktail hour, a multi-course family style meal for dinner and plated dessert. Salads were crisp, roasted veggies piping hot, the lobster buttery, pork chops perfectly grilled, and even the condiments (whipped thyme butter for bread, and citrus whipped cream for strawberry shortcake) were perfection. Our guests kept saying "this is the best wedding food we have ever had!" We couldn't agree more - every bite was delicious (and yes, they made sure we got to taste everything!). I've worked in catering for over 10 years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Field to Table to any couple looking for a memorable, detailed, and personalized dining experience for their big day. -

We all struggle with how much a wedding costs but when think about the opportunity to take everyone you love most in this world and buying them dinner, your caterer becomes one of your most important vendors. If you are foodies like Laura and myself, it is even that much more important.
Field to Table did nothing short of exceeding all of our expectations. We reached out to more than a dozen caterers and shared with them culinary vibe that we wanted to offer our guest (a multi-station display that represented our variety of favorites flavors.) Each caterer came back to their set menu and attempted to make it work for our vision. (Some simply stated they couldn't touch our targeted budget and we parted ways before we even got to that step.) Field to Table took a totally different approach... they wanted learn about us and the food that makes us smile... and from there designed a menu that was designed completely around us!
They were able to execute their very intricate menu in an amazing presentation with fantastic service. They were always very responsive, patient when we would requests random tweaks and changes to the menu and never made us feel like a burden.
If you are looking for flavor, style and smiles, all on a budget... Field to Table is your caterer! -

Mona Sent on 08/22/2018Wow. I am still on cloud 9 from our wedding two weeks ago. Field to Table absolutely killed every aspect of both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding food. As someone else mentioned, they are beyond a 5 star food experience. Not only that, the entire team (Tracy, Alex, Jill, and Sierra) have been amazing to work with. Tracy and team accommodated our crazy requests (Halal, gluten free, cooked in avacado oil, organic, locally sourced, sustainable etc etc etc) without even the slightest bit of hesitation and gave us and our guests a Michelin star experience. Food is ingrained in every part of our relationship, and my husband and I wanted to reflect that with what we presented to our guests, and Field to Table helped us make that vision come alive. Our guests are still raving that it was one of the best dinners they have ever had. On top of that, their staff at both events were incredibly professional and on top of everything. We had their bartenders do custom cocktails for us that were done to perfection. FTT- keep doing what you are doing. We are still beside ourselves and would book you again in a heart beat. -
Taryn Sent on 01/28/2018I wish Field to Table was a restaurant because I would eat their food every week! Delicious is an understatement and service is stellar. The first thing that “wowed” us was their personal touch on their proposal. When bidding out with vendors, it would have been a tough decision if our decision was based on price and sample menu alone. Several vendors were very close contenders but what set Field to Table apart was their personal questionnaire that was sent to my fiancé and me to complete. Based on our answers, they added a “his” and “hers” pasta side to our sample menu that won us over. They nailed our personalities and likes in our food and after all, your wedding day should be about the two of you! Then we had our tasting appointment. The set up was beautiful and intimate, and they served us a full course - no little nibbles of this or that - we had full platters and saw exactly how our food would be presented on our big day. The food was so fresh and incredible, and we were soooo excited about our decision to work with Field to Table. Our guests absolutely loved our buffet and no one went home hungry. They even noticed the his and hers sides and it made for a fun little competition for whose dish was better! Field to Table gets 5 stars all around...absolutely great caterer!

Jimmy Sent on 09/27/2016Field to Table was AMAZING!! Every single one of our guests raved for weeks about the food at our wedding and how it hands down was the best food they have had. Tracy and his team hit it out of the park with our country feast. From the appetizers to our buffet dinner, the presentation, taste and overall perceptions were 10/10! My husband and I even asked Tracy to re-create one of our favorite appetizers (bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese) and in addition to the mouth-watering sausage served, these were the top 2 appetizers of the day! We also had many gluten-free guests (including myself) and they were able to accommodate our intolerance without hesitation and it was the best gluten free meal I have had i awhile. The bacon mac n cheese was my favorite...no one could taste the difference! Their professionalism and accommodation was a blessing to work with. I highly recommend booking them for your wedding, no questions asked! Their team is awesome to work with, from the tasting to the day of your wedding. I would book them again in a heartbeat. -

My mom and I met Tracy right as he was starting his business (he came from a larger catering company in town) and when we met him, the food he prepared for us was delicious and totally unexpected. I loved everything about his personality and really loved his food! We booked him shortly thereafter. Being an out of town bride (planning from Oregon), Tracy made it super easy for us to meet with him when we came into town for planning visits. On our last visit down (with parents in tow) we made a stop to meet with him and finalize our menu. We were greeted at the door of his beautiful office in Nipomo by an 8 week old yellow lab (Jax the company mascot) and our hearts melted. (Side note: we are BIG lab people - major bonus points). Then, we were fed an amazing dinner while we planned! My husband and father were in love. As we walked out of the door, my husband said to me, “that guy is awesome and his food is SO good…good pick babe.” The day of our wedding was no different. Every single guest made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the food. Tracy’s staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. We made the best decision hiring Tracy and Field to Table Catering and we hope you do too!
