Melanie was absolutely amazing to work with from the start to finish. Picking the right photographer was extremely important to us and I am forever grateful Melanie was referred to us. Her attention to detail and creativeness are unmatched. She is so personable and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Our pictures came out phenomenal and we will cherish them forever! Soooo happy we went with Melanie for our wedding photos!! -

In January 2024, I decided to take my wife to Bermuda; her first experience there! I surprised her with a photo shoot with Melanie as a birthday gift.
With the weather being a bit sketchy during the winter, Melanie was most gracious in working with the conditions and found an afternoon that was sunny and fit into both our schedules.
Our experience with her was absolutely stunning. It was almost as if we had been friends for years and were finally getting back together!
We highly recommend her services! Great value, great personality, great pics! -

Amazing photographer capturing memories for a lifetime Is how I would describe Melanie. She took part in our 20 year renewal ceremony and she accommodated every request we had and did it in the extreme heat and made us all look as if it was just a cool summer night. She captured the beauty of our marriage and every time I look at them I smile and that moment comes back in time that she beautifully Captured by film for us to enjoy for a lifetime. -

Melanie has been amazing from start to finish for our family vacation session. We traveled to Bermuda for my parents 40th wedding anniversary and I contacted Melanie for a family session. Planning the session and helping with directions and transportation on the island, Melanie guided us through all the details, and her knowledge and suggestions on location options were fantastic. As soon as we met Melanie I was so excited for our session. We had so much fun, she kept us all laughing and comfortable in front of the camera. I was so happy when I received the gallery, and how quickly we she got them back to us! The photos are amazing and I am grateful that Melanie captured these memories for my family.

Trying to plan a destination wedding from outside of the country can be quite a daunting task, one that had its fair share of sweat and tears. Melanie was a breath of fresh air during this entire process! Not only was she the most responsive vendor I had throughout my Bermuda-based wedding, she was extremely organized, helpful and professional. My husband and I felt completely comfortable with her during the whole process and she even took a couple of extra photos for us when we accidentally got locked out of the beach exit haha.
Despite the clouds and early rain that we experienced on wedding day, Melanie was able to work her magic and take some absolutely beautiful shots at Cooper's Island and the surrounding area...she even managed to capture our little miniature pinscher "son," Moose, in action.
If you're looking for a photographer that will give you 110%, then look no further than Melanie (Fiander Foto). She's awesome! -

Erin Sent on 05/12/2018Back in March, my husband, 2 year old daughter and I traveled to Bermuda for a little getaway from the New England winter. I was 28 weeks pregnant and was looking for a photographer to capture some family photos on the beach. We were so lucky to have found Melanie. She was very quick to respond to my inquiry, and very accommodating. She was flexible and very patient with my two year old daughter who did not want to cooperate for sunrise photos on the beach. We are incredibly impressed and happy with Melanie's work and hope to work with her again in the future.

She was open to shooting at any location and was enthusiastic and excited about the ideas we had for our photos. We ended up using photos from the session for our Save the Dates and our Thank You cards after the wedding. Melanie's attention to detail when editing the photos was outstanding (she even erased a nasty smudge from my husband's shoe!)
