My husband and I got married here 7/26/25. I don’t even know where to begin. So many things to be said. I’ll start with that we have no regrets! We chose this venue based on its all inclusive customizable packages, indoor and outdoor options, and the fairytale vibes. It truly is an enchanting place! We chose the Elite Package, plus or minus a few things. My only complaint here is the flowers. Do NOT use their recommended vendor for anything else, Lady Bug florist was hard to work with and pretty stuck in her ways. She is very expensive and does not listen to what you want. She put mostly white in my bouquet and yellow, when I asked for peach, orange, and pink. I am mentioning her here because Fern Hill does lead you to believe you have any choices with your centerpieces through her and you do not. It is all cheap flowers like carnations...she also put red in these which, again was not my colors. In our package, the cold touch sparklers were taken from all packages for a good reason, a fire in California, and as we were very disappointed, we understood and were reimbursed and used that money towards late night snack instead. However, the white lawn chairs for our ceremony were included in our package and no one told us they got rid of them or reimbursed in anyway.

Now for the endless positives. First and foremost, Stacey! I cannot say enough about how amazing she was. Sad to never see her again haha. She is not only incredible at her job, but she is fun, understanding and proactive. I had a LOT of decor and a crazy book seating display and so much that could be overwhelming or done wrong and it was perfect!! She 100% was the best part of Fern Hill. I had an issue with my personal makeup artists arrival time last minute and was freaking out and she calmed me and made the impossible possible. Speaking of makeup…if you are hesitating on whether or not to use Kristen for hair and Taylor for makeup, just do it!!! They did amazing. So kind, talented, reasonable. Everyone loved their looks. Now to the food. The short rib and parmesan crusted chicken were SO GOOD! Everyone told us they loved the food. We had a crazy list of dietary restrictions. So many intolerances, allergies, vegans, vegetarians, you name it and everyone still loved their adjustments! The kitchen was flexible when someone informed us last minute of one.My husband and I do not like cake. We chose the white almond raspberry and people raved about it!! The bar staff was so nice and I love that they will make any custom drink if you bring the supplies. Jules, our captain, took such good care of us from start to finish. Making sure we always had food, drinks, felt comfortable with the timeline, everything. She was wonderful. The venue was great down to even packing it all up. Such a beautiful, happy place with top notch staff! Just want to note that this is my photographer and not the preferred vendor.

We could not have asked for a more magical wedding experience than what we had at Fern Hill Barn. From our very first visit, the customer service was truly outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely excited to make your day perfect.

One of the standout features is the wedding binder they provide—it was a total lifesaver throughout the planning process! It was full of helpful information and timelines that made everything feel organized and stress-free. They also checked in frequently in the months leading up to the big day, which made us feel supported and confident every step of the way.

On the day itself, they provided just the right amount of guidance to keep everything on track without it ever feeling rushed or rigid. They also checked in with us frequently but never intrusively, which made us feel cared for and allowed us to relax and be fully present in the moment.

The attention to detail was impeccable. From drinks waiting for us right after the ceremony (such a thoughtful touch!) to the special photo taken immediately after we said “I do” that was placed on our sweetheart table—it’s little moments like these that made the day feel so personal and unforgettable.

The venue itself is stunning, with a warm, rustic charm and gorgeous scenery that made for the perfect backdrop to our celebration. And the food? Absolutely amazing with tons of options for those with different dietary preferences—our guests are still raving about it!

If you’re looking for a venue that truly goes above and beyond, Fern Hill Barn is it. We are beyond grateful for the experience and memories they helped create. Highly, highly recommend!

My husband and I recently got married at Fern Hill Barn on October 26, 2024, and we had an amazing experience. The venue's magnificent setting exceeded our expectations. It was the most beautiful fall day, and the foliage was breathtaking. When we toured the venue with Allison we fell in love with the beautiful landscaping and the tents dance floor. We knew right away that it was the perfect place for us to get married. We booked the bridal suite to get ready in. It was a huge hit. The girls got ready on one side and the guys had the other. Kristen and her crew from the venues bridal spa exceeded all expectations for hair and make-up. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated JoAnn the banquet captain. She was amazing, always right by our side with a happy smile willing to help in any way. She was fast with absolutely everything, including a quick emergency bustle right before intros lol!! She and her staff were VERY attentive to every single detail- from the cocktail hour setup to the centerpiece’s setup and beyond. You can tell when someone loves what they do, JoAnn truly loves her job and is an amazing asset to Fern Hills team. The entire banquet crew was top-notch, they were friendly and attentive to my guests’ needs. The food was delicious, and the presentation was impressive. We received many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food, service and how there was never a long line at the bar. Overall, we highly recommend Fern Hill to future couples. The venue's pricing was reasonable, and the experience was well worth it.

We scheduled a tour to visit Fern Hill Barn, and from the start to the end, we had a wonderful time. Hannah took us on our tour and she was so kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. From the first few minutes of our tour we knew this was the place for us, and the team for us. The grounds were beautiful, and had everything we wanted. While we worked with Hannah the most, we also met with Carly and Alyson, who were both amazing also! Knowing these three ladies would be there to take us through every step of our wedding planning process, put our minds at ease and sold us on the venue. Once we had booked, they put together a binder for us, which Carly met with us to review. It was so detailed and helpful.
We were recommended to the venue by a friend, Ayla, who works there. She said so many good things about it that we decided to check it out, and thank goodness we did. Without her I don’t think we would’ve found our dream venue.

I have no words to express how grateful I am for the Fern Hill Barn events team. I'm not even going to talk particularly about each one because they were all exceptional from the first moment until the end. I started planning my wedding at the end of January and got married at the end of April so I chose a venue that would help me plan everything and that had some things included. During this period of delay, the team did so many things for me that I was sometimes left doing nothing. Their dedication, joy and good humor is incredible. On my wedding day the officiant was late, I took what they offered out of the package because I wanted my ceremony in Portuguese. They were so nice to me planning everything, keeping me calm and informed. The team that served the food at the party were very happy, always smiling. The venue is simply beautiful! All my guests spoke very highly of the place and the food. Thank you so much Fern Hill Barn team, you made the most important day of my life even more important!

We got to meet with Carly for our tour and she was an absolute ray of sunshine and really clicked with us. She was so ready to make several quotes for us to experiment with all of the options the venue had to offer. She also went out of her way to call us a week or two later to check in. At that point my fiancé and I had already decided on the venue but needed another couple weeks to make the down deposit and she was able to come up with a flexible plan for us to have exactly that time frame we needed financially but still lock in our date so it wouldn’t be taken from us. We couldn’t thank her enough for making that call to keep our date.

Later we had a meeting with Alyson for picking up our planning binder and she was very knowledgeable! She was patient with our questions, let us walk away and enjoy the venue for a moment as we thought of anymore questions and everything was able to be answered. She helped guide us through what to expect in terms of timeline and feel really confident.

Both of them have shown us nothing but warm welcomes and being in our corner throughout the whole process, and as a lesbian couple, we didn’t feel the same with a lot of the other venues we toured. They know what they’re doing, clearly passionate about the same little details we are and it makes the whole process feel like we’re a well oiled team. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to be able to stop by again soon for other appointments.

We can't say enough about our incredible vendor team. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding. Our vendors were communicative, knowledgable, and highly reliable. Zukas was the perfect choice for us - you cannot beat the value this venue delivers. We worked with Alsyon on every detail and she made the wedding truly so easy for us. She truly met every single request and was highly communicative and flexible throughout the process. She even accommodated a few changes the week of. The food was amazing, the bar tenders were fantastic, and the setting was just gorgeous. We are so grateful we went with Zukas and don't have a single regret.

My husband and I got married at Zukas in early September, and we cannot say enough good things about Zukas! From the first moment we toured, we knew Zukas was very special. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The food is incredible and served in the biggest portions ever! Pricing is a s good as it gets. Alyson is a true gem and such a lovely person to work with. Any questions we had she was right there to answer. The value of Zukas is unbeatable. Best wedding venue ever!

We had a fantastic experience hosting our wedding reception at Zukas. Alyson and her team are unmatched in professionalism, kindness, and organization. The site visits and tasting event allowed us to experience all the options we had for food, alcohol, decor and linens. Allyson had many great recommendations for trusted vendors and hotels. After the day of, we had many compliments about the food, wait staff, bartenders, grounds, etc.
A special thanks to Kristin and her team at the Zukas spa. They were incredible! Everyone was so happy with their looks. Kristin took extra time at the end of her work day to accommodate my busy schedule for a hair and makeup trial. She was very receptive to my needs and wants, and I highly recommend the spa team for all of your day-of beauty needs!

What a gem we were lucky to find in Spencer MA. Our daughter's wedding was magical - and our guest traveled from different parts of the state and the country - and all were in awe of this magical hilltop spot - called Zukas. Alyison, her staff - all made our daughter's wedding extra special. The food was excellent too- just a perfect day !

Zukas is not only a beautiful setting. Alyson and her team put together a perfect night. Everything was just easy and the food! The food was delicious! Everything you need is on site. The food, cake, ceremony, perfect setting for pictures, even the spa and an over night suite. They took care of everything so we could just have fun with our guests. Alyson was so helpful! She answered questions quickly and she's just a pro. She made us feel so comfortable and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We were also surprised at the end of the night with a breakfast basket, such a sweet touch.

Zukas was amazing while planning my wedding, up through rehearsal and through our wedding day. The staff is great. They put up our wedding decor just how i had envisioned it and it was beautiful!

Zukas is an incredible venue with exceptional value for the area. The indoor space is beautiful and needs little decoration since it's already so pretty! You can't beat the outdoor views and scenery.

Alyson, the coordinator, is great to work with, really responsive and helpful for any special requests or questions.

We really loved being the only wedding on site, it made our day feel very private and special, and we didn't feel rushed at any point. We stayed at the bridal suite overnight and loved that we could just walk across the parking lot and crash after a long and exciting wedding day!

We are both vegetarian and many of our guests were as well. Zukas had great meal options and also was great about accommodating food allergies.

All of our guests were so impressed with the space and loved everything about Zukas. We are so glad we found them!

Alyson and the rest of the team at Zukas created a wedding day beyond our expectations. They were able to pivot from an outdoor ceremony to a covered ceremony due to rain on very short notice, and it was still a beautiful ceremony. The food was amazing, every dish; we received many compliments on that. The grounds provide a great range of locations for photos. They made our day so delightfully easy!

We had our wedding at Zukas last week and we had the best time! The grounds were gorgeous in mid-August, the staff were so responsive to our needs, and the food was delicious. Alyson was so calm and organized throughout the process, even when we postponed our wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic.

Although we did not end up having our reception at Zukas, Alyson & Lynn were so supportive and understanding during this crazy time. With the situation changing in MA only 10 days before our wedding we had to make a quick decision on what to do to be able to have all the people we wanted there. Zukas could not have been more understanding and we wish them the very best!

We couldn't be more happy with choosing Zukas Hilltop Barn for our outdoor ceremony and tented reception. Alyson was responsive and flexible, she was so easy to work with and helped us throughout the process. Our friends and family couldn't get over the views during the ceremony or quality of the food.

Zukas is such a beautiful location. Gorgeous views and grounds that make for stunning photos! Alyson was absolutely incredible and extremely responsive to every question we had! She helped us make sure our day was perfect and beautiful! She executed our vision perfectly. We have been told so many times by our guests that our venue was spectacular! Our guests were highly impressed by how gorgeous the grounds are, how good the food and desserts were, and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Alyson worked so well with all of our vendors to make sure the day ran smoothly! Zukas and Alyson are both highly recommended!

Our entire wedding took place at Zukas from start to finish. When I say that I mean, hair and make-up (they have an on-site private spa), all photos for the day (their property is gorgeous), the wedding (we chose indoor but you can have outdoor or tented), the reception, and the wedding night (private bridal suite on-site). The staff set up and broke down the decorations, they even boxed them up for us to take home. Everything leading up to our wedding and on the day of was carried out so seamlessly by Zukas's staff. We didn't know what we were doing but we didn't have to! Alyson, Zukas's wedding coordinator was there every step of the way to ensure the entire day went off without a hitch and that it did. She was also there from day one and all throughout the planning process. Our wedding was better than I could have possibly imagined and our family and friends felt the same way. The food, cake and champagne were delicious which is often hard to come by at a venue but not here. Everyone raved. If you want the wedding of your dreams without the stress, pick Zukas. They will make your dreams come true.

The moment we walked into the reception hall of Zukas Hilltop Barn, my now-husband and I knew this was where we wanted to get married. And we definitely made the right choice! Besides being absolutely gorgeous, Zukas as a venue includes food, drinks, linens, decor setup, and the assistance of their amazing event coordinator, Alyson. For an extremely reasonable price you can also book their bridal suite for the night of the wedding, and hair and makeup services for the wedding day. This made planning the wedding so much easier! Alyson the coordinator is beyond attentive, helpful, and organized. The day went completely smoothly--our ceremony actually started exactly on time, and all the details were perfectly arranged and setup by the time I walked in. Not to mention--the entrees and desserts are phenomenal. Not only was the wedding cake the best cake I have ever tasted, several guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! The chocolate fountain and mini ice cream cones were also a huge hit! And they made sure I actually got to eat all of the food I wanted to as the bride. The bridal suite at the venue was just beautiful, and they even included a complimentary breakfast basket for the morning after the wedding that included two extra slices of our wedding cake. I had the best day of my life here, and I couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically.

We had a magical wedding day at Zukas. We felt completely taken care of throughout the entire planning process thanks to Alyson and her wonderful, friendly, accommodating staff. Talk about someone who is good at her job... she answered every question nearly instantly, remembered every detail and request, and was a delight in making the day run smoothly. The food was spectacular, and they worked with us to create an awesome raw bar that was a hit with our guests. The grounds are stunningly beautiful, the bridal suite was the perfect, peaceful getting ready location for me and the girls, and every detail was above and beyond more perfect than we ever could have imagined. Do yourself a favor and book this venue!

My husband and I got married the first week in August and I am still in awe at how PERFECT our wedding was. Alyson made the year leading up and especially the day of the wedding run so smoothly. She really is amazing at her job! The food and drinks were great, there's so many good places for pictures, and Zukas has the rustic/outdoorsy feel we wanted. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful Zukas was and how much of a good time they had!

The bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite and got our hair and makeup done in the Zukas Spa by Kristen Hickman and her hair and makeup artists. We were all so happy with our choice and loved being right at the venue while we got ready!

We wouldn't change anything about Zukas and our wedding!

We cannot recommend the Zukas Hilltop Barn highly enough!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, with views over nearby hills, two gazebos, a pond, and a beautifully manicured garden (this year it had a wall of sunflowers, too.) The food is great (that cake!) and uses some of the produce that they grow there in the garden. Best of all, the coordinator Alyson is amazing—completely organized, answers emails quickly, and so friendly and calm that she puts you at ease immediately. It made the wedding day itself as stress-free as possible, not to mention the months of planning. They also have great recommendations for local vendors, meaning that you get wonderful and very professional people who have often worked at Zukas many times before and are well coordinated with each other. Altogether a great experience—we would do it again in a heartbeat!

Zukas Hilltop Barn was the PERFECT place to have our rustic springtime wedding. Alyson was so helpful and attentive, and certainly helped to calm my jitters on our big day. At the rehearsal, Alyson allowed me to drop off my decor, and she held onto my every word as I told her how I would like everything to be set up the following day. The grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the outdoor ceremony space by the gazebo is unbeatable. 10/10 would recommend Zukas Hilltop Barn. Our day was perfect!

We are so happy that we chose to have our special day at Zukas Hilltop Barn. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but the team there really know how to run things smoothly. We can’t thank Alyson, the coordinator enough for being so professional and sweet throughout the entire process. People were raving about the food and still are in awe of how beautiful it was up there. We want to relive the day over and over because at Zukas everything was so stress free!

Our experience with Zukas was great. Alyson was so helpful and easy to reach for the entire year leading up to our wedding. We were planning from across the country, and we had zero stress from anything having to do with the venue. When the day finally arrived, everything went so smoothly and the room (we had an indoor winter wedding) was decorated impeccably. I had provided the decorations and some general instructions about where I'd like what, but they really made it look wonderful. We also received many compliments on the food and cake (which were fantastic). They were very flexible and happy to accommodate the vegetarian and vegan guests we had, and even offered to come up with an off-menu vegan meal since the ones offered didn't really fit the theme of the other meal choices we had picked. It was, hands down, the best vegetarian wedding food I've ever had. The service was also very efficient and well paced. No one felt rushed, but everything was served promptly to leave us plenty of time to dance afterward. One small warning, when we went to the tasting/expo event they do for all the couples hosting their weddings within the year, the food was only okay and the service was eh (must have had something to do with how much variety they provided/service style/volume, which were not at all how a wedding is normally run). Don't be nervous if you feel the same way! I am so happy we chose Zukas for our wedding reception! It was perfect.

We fell in love with Zukas on our first visit and loved it even more after our wedding day. The wedding coordinator, Alyson, is knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. She is amazing at her job and made everything go smoothly. On the day of she was there to help us set up and during the reception she was there to make sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The barn was a beautiful setting for our Fall wedding and the surrounding farmland and foliage made for beautiful backdrops in our photos. The food was delicious and the chef was awesome about accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies for our guests. The wait staff and bar staff were very attentive, even paying attention to small details like making sure I had a glass of water before walking out for the ceremony. Our goal for our day was for our guests to enjoy themselves from start to finish and Zukas made this easy for us.

My fiance and I chose Zukas Hilltop Barn for our wedding because of the awesome package deals and beautiful location. Zukas really makes everything easy, and Alyson (the coordinator) helps with every step of the process. All of the food is delicious, and they are very accommodating to guests with allergies. I also had Zukas make the cake for our wedding (it was included in the package we selected) and it was a great decision! We had many compliments on the food and the cake :). From setup to tear down, the Zukas' staff was awesome. I would highly recommend Zukas to anyone. I would also recommend looking into the spa services at Zukas as it made the wedding day morning very relaxed and easy :). All of the girls hair and makeup came out beautiful.

We can’t say enough about Zukas! Everything was perfect and everyone was so helpful before the wedding and during! We got so many compliments on the venue of how beautiful it was! We highly recommend Zukas! It was absolutely amazing!

The team at Zukas really came through for us on our wedding day. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited and had everything planned out perfectly. The weather had other plans. The day of our wedding came with a surprise rain storm. The Zukas team had backup plans on top of backup plans. Our wedding went off without a hitch. We couldn't have asked for better!

Husband and I had our reception at Zuka's 3 weeks ago. We loved Zuka's from the moment we toured it, especially the tent with the bistro lights. Throughout the wedding planning process, everything with Zuka's was straightforward and well organized. Huge perk when planning a wedding. Alyson was attentive, kind, and incredibly responsive. The service for the guests during the reception was top notch. Everyone could not stop talking about the appetizers; the bbq pork on cornbread was a huge hit! So glad we took the time to enjoy our own dinners, they were fantastic. Cake was beautiful and also delicious. Thank you, Zukas!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Zukas was for our wedding! This venue is absolutely stunning! There are beautiful gardens, a pond, and a gorgeous view from the top of the hill. The inside of the building and the tent are so elegant! There is even a fire pit which many of our guests enjoyed!
The staff was so friendly and accommodating that I felt zero stress! Alyson, the wedding coordinator, made us feel right at ease and we knew we were in good hands. They set up all our decor for us too!
The food was absolutely amazing! One of our favorite wedding planning stages was when we were able to test taste the food. There were so many delicious options it was hard to choose! The cakes they make are also incredible. We stayed in the honeymoon suite after our wedding which was gorgeous and they even made us a breakfast basket of goodies.
Everything at Zukas exceeded our expectations! They made our day perfect and so many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to!

Zukas was more than my husband and I could have ever hoped for. The grounds are gorgeous offering numerous areas for truly memorable photos. The staff was professional and had everything flowing perfectly and smoothly. The experience truly was once in a life time. I am so happy we picked Zukas for our wedding and if able to do it all again, Zukas would still be the place!!!

Everything about Zukas was seamless from the first email through the end of our wedding day. The venue is beautiful (in all seasons), grounds are kept pristine and the food is great, but most importantly the staff (we worked primarily with Alyson) is incredible. The attention to details, expertise, and calm presence throughout the year and day of made everything so easy and stress free.

We were married in May and with the tricky spring weather had to make a last minute move inside to dodge a rain storm. It was handled so quickly and efficiently and in such a relaxed and professional manner. The ceremony went on without hitch!

Without a doubt, having our wedding at Zukas was a phenomenal experience. From start to finish we had a blast and everything exceeded our expectations. Alyson (the wedding coordinator/catch all for everything) was extremely professional, attentive and responsive throughout the whole experience. Zukas does a great food tasting where there are tons of couples invited and the whole venue is set up almost like a wedding is going on so you get to see everything as it might actually be for your wedding. We also utilized the spa services the day of and the bridal suite the night of. Our servers were so sweet and put together a basket with cake and breakfast food for the next morning. We got married in September and we used the tent and had plans to have our ceremony on site as well outside. Unfortunately, it rained the entire day of our wedding. I have to say I was incredibly sad, but at the end of the day Alyson did a wonderful job of making the tent feel special for our ceremony and setting up an isle to walk down. We ended up having a double rainbow and I wouldn't have asked for a more perfect day. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

We recently had our wedding at Zuka’s Hilltop Barn and could not have been more pleased with our choice. We felt that what we got for what we paid for far exceeded our expectations. We had both our ceremony & reception onsite indoors. Alyson, the coordinator, is truly exceptional. She was incredibly quick to respond to our dozens of questions from the day we booked through our wedding. She was calm, polished, organized, and always had a smile on her face. Actually, to say that she is organized is an understatement! You’ll have to work with her to see what I mean :) We felt that all of our questions were as important to them as they were to us, and had no worries or stress on our wedding day because of how caring she was. My husband and I found ourselves wrapped up in the whirlwind of the evening and somehow didn’t eat more than the bite of cake we fed each other. To our surprise and delight, not only did the staff pack up the top tier of our cake, but they also boxed up a slice for each of us to enjoy later. All of the food was delicious! The portions were the biggest I’ve ever had at a wedding, and our family and friends raved about the quality of it to us. The venue itself and grounds are so beautiful and well taken care of. My maid-of-honor and I stayed in the Bridal Suite the night before our wedding. We were so comfortable. It provided a lot of peace of mind to have everyone come to us and we did not have to leave to go anywhere. We utilized the Spa for both hair and makeup. Kristen and her team were so fun and friendly and did an amazing job with hair and makeup.

The team at Zuka’s were truly a pleasure to work with. They really made our day what we wanted it to be. It felt and appeared completely effortless and stress-free. I wouldn’t have changed a thing, and 100% recommend this venue to any couple-to-be! I’d love to tell you more, but if you do pick Zuka’s, I want you to be as happy as I was for all the little wonderful surprises throughout the day!

Venue of our dreams does not even come close to describing Zukas Hilltop Barn. From the moment we took our first tour, we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding-- and it was well worth the nearly 2 year (Booked in 12/15 for 10/17) wait for a beautiful October Saturday. Alyson will answer any question- no matter how minor, silly, stupid, or how many times you've already asked the same thing. We heard rave reviews about the food before our wedding and received nothing short of the same reaction from our own guests. We requested a carrot cake (sans raisins and nuts) to keep in line with our fall-ish theme and they came through with a delicious and beautiful cake. Alyson arranged for us to have specific signature drinks and was even going to secure a favorite hard cider of ours that is brewed in NY. She allowed us to come and walk the grounds on multiple occasions to check it out and get a feel for exactly what we wanted. We requested the Butternut Squash Ravioli as our vegetarian option due to the multitude of fabulous reviews and they agreed to make it even though it technically isn't this years option. I could literally go on forever- the grounds are magnificent- the tent lights up beautifully- the food is amazing- the service is impeccable. Do yourself a favor and book Zukas for your wedding, I can guarantee that you will feel relieved knowing that your day is in the best hands possible and that they will do everything in their power to make it the wedding of your dreams. Bravo Alyson and the Zukas team, thanks so much for all that you did you make our day exactly what we imagined and more. We wish we could go back and do it over and over and over again.

Alyson made this a very easy process from the moment we booked Zukas (and we had the added stress of planning our wedding from Texas) The food was excellent and well worth it. We absolutely loved that they offered brunch and all of our guests raved about how great it was. The hall was set up beautifully and the coordination on the day of the wedding from everyone at zukas made it a very stress free day. And the grounds, I can't even put words to describe them. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful and will make for the best pictures!

We can’t even begin to express how happy we are with the Zukas staff. We held our wedding there in early October, and attribute how smoothly everything went to Alyson and her team. We didn’t have to deal with any of the nitty-gritty detail at all--everything just chugged smoothly along. The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic (we’re still getting complements from stunned guests who were wowed by the cuisine), and the venue was gorgeous as always, even though it rained. The transition of plans from outdoor to indoor was seamless, and everything went off without a hitch. We spent at least the first half of our honeymoon congratulating ourselves for throwing the perfect wedding, but really so much of that credit goes to the Zukas team for their flawless choreography and beautiful setting. Also, but really, the food was incredible. During the planning stages, the Alyson was always quick to respond to questions, and as a policy they are very up-front about any costs associated with their facilities--there were no surprises or hidden charges (this was not the norm at most other places we visited, so it was a very welcome change). We rented the bridal suite as well so we could finish getting ready there and then spent the night on-sight. The suite was the perfect end to a perfect day :D

Their recommended vendors are all fantastic as well--the process of choosing our wedding adventure was very smooth and stress-free thanks to them!! We did a Monday evening wedding in early october with the help of Scott Metzger as photographer and All That Entertainment (Zeke) as DJ. Makeup and bridal hair by Chateau Cheveux (west boyleston), and bridesmaids hair by the Zukas Spa team.

I cannot even say enough about Zukas; what a wonderful venue! Everything about the venue is just beautiful; the grounds, the building, the tent, the suite, the greenhouse...I could go on and on. The food was fantastic, the staff is extremely friendly, and Alyson was just amazing. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner, and I asked a lot! Everything was set up beautifully. I even noticed that they filled in for little things I had forgotten, such as a "sign our guestbook" sign. We stayed in the bridal suite for the night, and the staff gave us a breakfast basket, which was just so sweet. I can't even tell you how many compliments we received on the beauty of the venue and the amazing food! Thanks to Alyson and the Zukas team, I was able to enjoy day without any worries, and I can never thank them enough.

Zukas had everything my wife and I wanted for our big day. They do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all on site (so nice having everything in one location). They do in house catering which includes the wedding cake and alcohol and their food packages include tax and gratuity, which is incredibly convenient when it comes to calculating costs. They also have a la carte options as well. The cake itself was quite simple, but it was super delicious and we were able to dress it up real nice with some flowers from our florist and a nice topper. The venue itself was beautiful. We had an outdoor ceremony and a tented reception at the end of July and everything was so lush and green and their gardens were beautiful. The value for everything is amazing - we paid a total of around $12,000 for everything: site rental, tent rental, catering and open bar for ~100 guests, bridal suite, etc. They also only do one wedding a day, which was a big thing for us.

Their coordinator, Alyson, is the best. We had some pretty response vendors overall, but Alyson was the most responsive by far. We would send her an email with some questions and more often than not, we'd have a reply within 10 minutes! She was so helpful and so nice and just all around wonderful!

All of the Zukas staff was fantastic for that matter! Our reception ended at 10PM, but we had a few stragglers (ourselves included) that were hanging around for a little bit after and they weren't trying to rush us or herd us out the door. They
were so patient and even gave us a little breakfast basket to enjoy in the morning!

One last thing: if there are any guests that cancel on you at the last minute, Zukas will donate any unused food to the local food pantry, which we thought was really awesome!

Zukas is absolutely beautiful. We received SO many compliments about the beautiful scenery and especially about the delicious food. Alyson definitely knows what she is doing, and does a great job doing it. She was quick to respond to the many, many questions I had throughout the planning process. She is super professional and very reliable. We had our hair and makeup done in the Zukas Spa with Kristen and Melissa. They were INCREIDBLE. Melissa, the makeup artist was super nice and hit it off with my maid of honor and Kristen helped my 5-year old flower girl through a temper tantrum, because she didn’t want to wear a sparkly headband. Kristen and Melissa made us feel so at ease, the did an AMAZING job on our hair and makeup. We are extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish. Our wedding was the most perfect day. We would recommend Zukas to everyone and anyone. Thank you SO MUCH Zukas!!

I cannot say enough about this venue! Besides the fact that Alyson was with me every step of the way during the planning process, the entire staff was truly amazing the night of as well. They always made sure we were accommodated and comfortable, brining us food and drinks while we took photos. Our guests couldn't say enough about the beautiful scenery, the extremely friendly and efficient wait staff, and how seriously delicious the meals were. We even had guests say they wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue to their friends and family who are getting married soon! There's definitely a reason why this place books up so quickly. We had a truly amazing day and we have all the staff at Zukas to thank for helping us pull it all off without a hitch!

I got married at Zukas in July 2017. The property is gorgeous and Alison was great to work with! It's nice because they do one wedding a day so we arrived around 2/2:30 for the wedding and were there until 10:30. The food was delicious. A lot of the people at my wedding commented about how fresh the food tasted and how the cake was the only wedding cake they actually enjoyed eating at a wedding. Alison was so helpful in planning and day of events. I was a bit of a disorganized bride so sent a lot of emails re-asking and clarifying questions and she was always VERY prompt with responses and never made me feel bad about the duplicate emails. This is an amazing venue. I would not have changed my choice in getting married here!!

We recently had our wedding at Zukas and everything was perfect from the time we booked until the end of our wedding night! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, all of the food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and Alyson is by far the nicest person and most prepared coordinator. She responds within minutes to emails and was there every step of the way! Our wedding was an absolute dream in every way! Thank you so very much!!

I cannot express enough with how happy we are with our wedding at Zukas. We booked the venue only a few hours after seeing it. Alyson was super responsive through the entire year leading up to everything, I never waited more than a day for an answer. The vendors (photography/hair/make-up) were all highly recommended and delivered perfectly, it was a huge comfort that they knew Alyson and the venue so well. Although the drive was on the long side, guests were speechless upon seeing the grounds. The place is so well maintained (landscaping/aesthetics) that you don't need to stress about decor too much, let it speak for itself. Additionally, we received many compliments on the food including the veggie option.

Our wedding was this past Sunday and my husband and I cannot say enough good things about Zukas Hilltop Barn. We had family members asking us all night how we found it and just commenting on how beautiful it is. Honestly, ever since we first visited it to check it out, the experience has been so easy. Alyson the coordinator is the best person. She is very responsive to questions, is very flexible and you can just tell she has a lot of experience with weddings. We ended up personalizing our meal package and had a ton of lawn games and she was able to accommodate all of it. The scenery is gorgeous, the food was incredible (we had guests telling us it was the best steak of their lives) and the staff is SO NICE. You cannot go work here. They make everything seamless. "How on Earth did you find this place? It's unbelievable!" That was the comment we got from every guest. The setting, the ambience, the food, the staff- everything was to die for. The most stessful part of getting engaged is fending a venue, so I'll break it down with the highlights:

- food is out of this world- my family is still talking about
- staff is incredible. Alyson (coordinator) is responsive, calm, and so on top of things. She operates that place like a well-oiled machine!

We had an amazing wedding at Zukas. The staff took care of all setup and coordination the day of making for a very low-stress day.

Our wedding experience at the Zukas Hilltop Barn was absolutely perfect. We were sold from our first visit; the breathtaking private grounds, exceptional menu, and the wedding coordinator Alyson Russo. Alyson was so wonderful to work with- she was prompt to respond to any and all questions no matter how small and was beyond attentive on our wedding day. We also utilized the bridal suite and spa for hair and make-up which was so convenient. Kristin and the rest of the girls were great to work with, accommodating our large group. My make-up and hair looked great, as did our Mom’s and bridesmaids.

On our wedding day, the venue and grounds were immaculate. We had our ceremony outside on the grounds to make the most of the beautiful scene. We also used their tent, which is very large, comfortable, heated and gorgeous. Alyson and the staff took great care in setting up the decorations I had brought a few days prior at our rehearsal. During our photos, before and after the ceremony, Alyson was right there checking-in on us and keeping us on track. She even jumped in and helped out at our photo booth! All of the food was incredible! My husband and I were so excited that the staff had kindly placed our meals and wedding cake in to-go’s when greeting our guests took longer than expected. They have an exceptional service staff.

Where to Start with this place?! Let’s put it this way, our wedding was this past May and our family and friends are still talking about our wedding 5 months later! From the beautiful private location to the friendly and helpful staff. From the robust selection of quality food choices, to the stunning indoor & outdoor venue options, this place is INCREDIBLE & will not disappoint! The shining star for this review, however, is Alyson Russo: Zukas' Wedding Coordinator. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Alyson felt more like a friend! She calmed all my planning nerves with her super quick email responses! Sometimes I would receive a response within minutes of hitting send! The responses always included a resolution to a problem answer to a question I had. I know I was not the only bride she was working with, but she sure made me feel as if I were! The time we spent on the phone was never rushed. Emails were always thorough and complete. Nothing was ever over looked, no how matter how small my inquiry was! Fast forward to our wedding day -The venue itself was sparkling clean & set up exactly as we wanted with our décor! Alyson made sure our wedding party had food and drinks while pictures were happening, she helped bustle my dress before being introduced & checked in with us over the course of the night to make sure everything was going perfectly, which it did! Cocktail hour was inside & dinner was under the tent! Dinner was served quickly and came out hot, people are still talking about the meal! So delicious! Alyson even had covers placed over our food while we were going table to table so our food would stay warm. The care and thought that was displayed over the course of the night really touched us & made our guests feel taken care of & special. Zukas is absolutely beautiful, and in spring/summer the entire venue is blossoming in flowers and greenery, adding additional beauty to your big day. But most importantly, the staff is fantastic throughout the entire process. The coordinator, Alyson, was incredibly helpful to us and gave a lot of direction, which was great because we planned the whole thing ourselves and used a friend as our JOP instead of someone with experience. I didn't have to worry about a single thing the whole night, and everything went off without a hitch, which I attribute to Alyson's work as the coordinator. The service staff was also very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which makes a big difference in terms of guest experience. Also, people can't stop talking about the food even now, a week later. I have never heard people so excited about the food they were eating in my entire life. Everyone said it's hands down the best wedding food they've ever had. I have to agree!

From the time we booked the date to the time we checked out of the bridal suite the morning after the wedding was absolute perfection. I don't say that lightly either since I am not easily impressed. Alyson is amazing and her calm, cool and professional manner make everything run smoothly. Our day was absolutely perfect, the food was out of this world. My husband and I recently got married at Zukas Hilltop Barn. We honestly could not have chosen a better venue to celebrate our fairytale day. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Alyson was extremely prompt with answering any e-mails we sent to her and was always able to answer any questions we had. She was very flexible if my husband or I wanted to make any changes to decisions we made. The day of the wedding, my bridesmaids and I got ready at the Spa in the same building as the Bridal Suite (which is located right at the venue!). It was a wonderful experience and all of my bridesmaids and I were very happy with our hair and make-up. Kristen was very flexible and had to deal with many different lengths and styles of hair and everyone's hair looked beautiful! Jen wanted to please and would make any changes needed throughout the make-up process. She was tremendous! Also, as the bride, it was so calming to be at the venue getting ready, verse a hotel. It was stress free! Alyson did a wonderful job keeping all of us on schedule (we had a very large bridal party!). She made sure everyone was where they needed to be throughout the day. My husband and I did a "first look" and Alyson kept coming out to check if we needed anything, from food to drinks! Also, while I was waiting for the ceremony to begin, she brought a cheese and cracker spread and water for the bridesmaids and I to snack on. The rest of the night went perfectly! Everyone enjoyed the food (prime rib and stuffed sole). People cannot stop talking about how beautiful the venue is and how perfect our day was! I would highly recommend Zukas!!

From the pictures online to Alysons quick responsiveness, To the first time my husband and I first pulled up to the grounds, Zukas Hilltop Barn far exceeded our expectations for a wedding reception venue! Alyson worked with us and answered any and every question. She is extremely professional and she is so knowledgable. Her calm demeanor made the entire experience less stressful when we began to worry about sonething. A few things stand out at this venue. 1.) the grounds--they are simply breathtaking! No need to go spend thousands on flowers to decorate they are already there (we did do some indoor cocktail tables and all our centerpieces) but the grounds are just beautiful!!! 2.) Alyson, the wedding coordinator does not just sit back and watch the event happen that day to ensure things go smoothly. Alyson goes above and beyond by delivering and passing out dinner plates with her wait staff as well as serve the bridal party with drinks during cocktail hour and pictures that are being taken. 3) Zukas only has one wedding a day and the entire grounds are YOURS! I may be bias, but seriously this venue is a hidden gem and affordable or as lavish as you wish!!! 4) The food is amazing. Most people say no one remembers the food, but their vast menu options and quality of food was great. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a rustic/ tented venue for a summertime wedding! We had our ceremony at Mary Queen of the Rosary in nearby Spencer, MA as well. There aren't many places to stay for sleeping accommodations, however there are a few hotels in Sturbridge, MA only about a 16 min drive away! 5 STARS!

We loved having our wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn and would highly recommend this as a venue. From the beginning, Allyson was amazing to work with. She was super fast in answering all of my questions through email. As a venue, Zukas was absolutely beautiful, providing us the perfect blend of elegance and class without feeling stuffy like estate venues or like a boxy hotel ballroom. The view from the hilltop is phenomenal and provided an amazing backdrop. We also used the Zukas Salon for hair and make-up and would recommend those services as well. It was so relaxing and convenient to get ready on site and have everything we needed right there. Kristin was great to work with in scheduling the trial appointment and providing advice on hair accessories. My make-up and hair looked great. They were so accommodating to work with our early start time (6:30am!) As a catering service, Zukas Hilltop Barn was outstanding. The food was affordable and was absolutely delicious. The wait-staff was incredibly efficient and served our guests quickly. They also provided the best ice cream bar for our June wedding, with tons of do it yourself toppings. Everyone loved it! The bar had incredible drinks, which our guests were raving about.
As a package, everything about Zukas was efficient and well-done. I felt so at ease, knowing that any little detail I had forgotten would be smoothed over by Alyson. I chose a non-vegan vegetarian dish, but they made a vegan dish for my guest without my needing to ask. Everything was so stream-lined and they were so accommodating. We chose to work with many of the preferred vendors and I knew that each vendor knew Zukas so well that I didn’t have to worry. Our guests repeatable came up to us, and still do months later, telling us it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. It would not have been possible without the amazing team at Zukas Hilltop Barn. Thank you Allyson and Lynne and everyone for such a wonderful, fabulous day.

When we first visited Zukas Hilltop Barn in January of 2015 and met with Alyson we knew that we would be married there the following May 29th. We cannot say enough about how amazing the venue is in terms of landscaping, set-up, and overall indoor/outdoor appeal that we were looking for. All of our guests commented on how absolutely stunning the grounds were and how easily all parts of the property flowed together. The food was a highlight of the night, coming out quickly and tasting amazing. The meat was cooked perfectly and everything was hot when served. The cake was moist and delicious, enjoyed by every single one of our guests.

Alyson Russo, the wedding coordinator, is a bride and groom's dream. She is quick to respond to emails, gives great advice on all questions no matter how minor, and is very organized. We felt incredibly comfortable on our wedding day because we knew it was in Alyson's hands, and she was there every step of the way to guide us! Looking back on our wonderful day we know it was a great success because of the Zukas team and their beautiful site.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Alyson and all the staff at Zukas! Not only is it a beautiful venue but the food was the best food I have ever had at a wedding (no lie!). We got A LOT of compliments from our guests about how good the food was, including our white chocolate raspberry wedding cake (amazing!). I could not have hired a better coordinator if I wanted to. Alyson was always super quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the big day, but she was very professional and kept track of every single detail of our wedding to perfection! During the wedding itself she was constantly checking on my groom and I and offering to fill our drinks and take care of anything we needed. She even helped my MOH bustle my dress! I cannot say enough good things about Zukas Hilltop Barn - There was not a single part of our wedding day that wasn't absolutely perfect and I am so happy we chose to get married there! If you are looking for a beautiful and rustic, classy, but quaint wedding venue, this is your place!

We had our wedding here in April and couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue. We actually almost missed out on this venue thinking it was more expensive than it actually was, but thanks to a friend, we went back and looked at it again and to our surprise, it was well within budget. It is almost shocking how affordable Zukas is for the quality of everything you get. They don’t try to sneak in any extra fees and are up front with you on the cost of everything.
Alyson is the wedding coordinator there and she was so easy to work with. I actually don’t even know if she ever slept, because no matter when you sent her an email, she almost always responded back within 5 minutes. We never had to worry about anything because Alyson was always there with an answer to everything. She was incredibly attentive and helpful and was always so welcoming! Two days before our wedding, we met with Alyson to bring her our wedding decorations and explain to her our vision and the day of the wedding she delivered. Everything we had brought in was set up exactly how we had imagined it. We rented out the bridal suite and she stopped over a few times throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed and to bring over refreshments. She remained there throughout the remainder of the day until our ceremony was over and photos began. Their grounds are immaculate and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect backdrop for our photos! She was so attentive to everyone’s needs and we cannot thank her enough!
A lot of brides and grooms do not get a chance to eat during their reception, but we made it a point to be able to sit down and eat and we are happy we did. The food was probably one of the best meals we ever had and we still have friends/family telling us how great the food was! The reception staff were also great – we were able to relax and actually enjoy our wedding! I wish we could relive our wedding at Zukas a hundred times over – we highly recommend them!

Alyson and the entire staff were amazing! The venue was gorgeous and the entire reception went without a single hitch! The food was amazing-our guests raved about their meals. The chocolate fountain was a huge hit for the children as well as the adults! Our summer wedding reception under the tent was a dream come true and we can't thank or recommend Zukas enough! So beautiful and so easy to work with!

This venue was fantastic. The grounds are picturesque, the tent is beautiful, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive, and the food is great. Alyson, the events coordinator at the venue, was incredible. She was professional, strait forward and prompt with answering all phone calls and emails (the same day). I don't know how she gives that much attention to all couples during wedding season! We had the greatest time. Many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

Zukas was an excellent choice for our wedding. My mother was terminally ill during the process, and Alyson handled the situation perfectly -- from giving us permission to bring in food for her dinner, to allowing us the option to book the suite at the last minute, and even letting us show up earlier than normal for photos. I had a lot of DIY decorations that had a somewhat complicated setup. We were allowed to bring them in a week early so that the staff could prepare, and she even allowed my stepfather and brother to set up the ceremony backdrop two days before the wedding. We ran late with our rehearsal, and it wasn't a problem! They even let us select a dinner option on the Mahogany menu when we had paid for the Willow, and allowed further custom changes to our needs for the same price. They were excellent, and most importantly, gave my mother no reason to worry throughout the process. She has since passed away, but she did tell me beforehand that there was nothing she would change about the day. This is saying a lot; as Alyson knows, my mother is very picky!

My wife and I are still recovering from all of the fun we had at our wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn last weekend! Not only did we think that Zukas was without a doubt the most perfect (and picturesque!) venue for our wedding, the staff from start to finish was truly what made our wedding amazing. Our venue coordinator, Alyson Russo, answered every question without delay (of which there were far more than I care to admit!), kept in contact with us from our very first meeting, and I know that she and her staff are a large part of the reason my new wife and I were able to stay stress-free (well, within reason :) ) during our planning process. We even had a moment to steal away from everyone for some pictures by the fire pit.

The venue looked absolutely beautiful and we cannot thank Zukas enough for the seemingly effortless set up and break down of our event. The Bridal Suite was gorgeous and so accommodating and I cannot gush enough about the property grounds and the reception space. I also wanted to highlight one of their servers - I have been kicking myself for not getting her name. At every point of the night that I ran into her (which was surprisingly often!), she went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed and that most importantly, ensuring that we were taking time to truly enjoy our wedding. She always met me with a smile and seemed just as excited as we were to be there. It is gestures like hers that I know I will still remember 50 years from now.

The food from cocktail hour to dinner service to cake was out of this world! All in all, last weekend was hands down the best night of both our lives. Alyson and her team helped us to create a wedding that makes me happy-cry when I think of it, and one that I know none of our guests will soon forget. Zukas - the property, the venue, the staff, and most especially Alyson, are top notch! We will be recommending Zukas Hilltop Barn for years and years to come.

We were swept away by the appearance of Zukas on our wedding day! Alyson, the coordinator, set up all of our centerpieces and decor for us perfectly and was a joy to work with. The grounds are gorgeous and meticulously manicured, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is delightful. Our guests raved about the gorgeous indoor reception space after our wedding. The staff boxed up all of the decor after the reception and even provided breakfast for us in the bridal suite for the next morning. We honestly could not have been happier.

Zukas Hilltop Barn was the absolute best wedding decision we made! Right from the start Alyson was welcoming & professional-we knew our wedding was in good hands. She responded quickly to every email & worked with our vendors to create a seamless event. Everyone tells you that some things go wrong with every wedding, but there is not one thing I can think of that didn't go perfectly!

We had a 1-hr rehearsal the night before & dropped our decorations off at that time as well. The next day Alyson had everything set up beautifully-better than we imagined. The moment we drove onsite I felt calm & happy-it was definitely a plus having the ceremony and reception in the same place, knowing there would be no rushing to get anywhere once we arrived! We got ready in the bridal suite & the grounds provided a great backdrop for pre-ceremony photos. We were lucky enough to have a sunny, warm September eve & the ceremony site was bathed in summer light with the hills in the background. Alyson kept everything running on time-we didn't have a worry in the world! She even brought out cheese & crackers while we were having our photos done & saved us a plate of our passed appetizers to eat at dinner so we wouldn't miss out on them. We got so many compliments on the food! The tent was gorgeous with the white lights & uplighting. The non-dancers loved the fire outside! At the end the staff gathered up our belongings onto one table, which really made cleaning up quick & easy. These thoughtful details really made all the difference.

We stayed in the bridal suite overnight-it was amazing to just walk across the parking lot after a night of dancing! The next morning we were treated to a breakfast tray, including pieces of our cake (which was the best surprise since it was the flavor that I had missed out on at the reception!).

I cannot say enough about Zukas Hilltop Barn and about Alyson Russo, the Zukas events coordinator! My husband & I visited many venues and chose Zukas not only for its obvious charm and beauty but because Alyson was so friendly and so willing to work with us and create our dream wedding reception. She was so great from beginning to end! She is great about responding to my emails right away and answering all types of questions lol!

The day before my wedding I brought all of my stuff for the reception to Zukas that I had planned, bought, and made (2 SUV full)! Alyson let me explain everything I wanted and let me tell her about everything and were I wanted it to be placed. The next day when i entered into Zukas everything was amazing and perfect and it looked exactly like I wanted it to! Alyson didn't miss a beat!

As far as the wedding day went my different vendors came and went setting up and doing whatever they needed to do and they all love going to Zukas they said because the staff is always so friendly to work with!

My wedding reception went AMAZING! the food was timely, warm, and fantastic! Everyone and I mean everyone loved there food! We served pork tenderloin and stuffed haddock. Both were so delicious! Everyone was amazed with the food at cocktail hour and at dinner. The serves by the staff was also amazing. Every server was fast and polite. All the staff was really friendly and seemed like they really cared and helped any guest with whatever they needed.
By the end of the night anything I or my family needed to take home was clean, washed if needed, and packed up ready to go!

Zukas did an amazing job making my wedding reception perfect! my husband and I couldn't have asked for anything more! The venue is breath taking! I can not say enough great things about Zukas! Everyone just LOVED it!!

I recently had my wedding at Zukas in May. It was a beautiful venue, food and drink were great, especially the wedding cake! Alyson made planning so easy, and the girls got their hair done on site. The day could not have been any less stressful and it couldn't have been more amazing. I can't imagine every wanting to have a wedding anywhere else. Absolutely perfect location.

Zukas is such a beautiful place to get married! I had the ceremony and reception there and everything was amazing. My bridesmaids and I had our hair and make up done at Zukas spa. It was very relaxing to be able to get it done right there! Alyson was so helpful from start to finish.

Five stars are not nearly enough to describe how amazing Zukas Hilltop Barn and its entire staff, especially Alyson, are! We had the most incredible experience working with Alyson from day one and wouldn't have traded it for anything. The folks at Zukas know exactly what to do to make your wedding day go off without a hitch. The craziest part of how great the entire staff is, is that you never even see them! They are in and out of the reception tent, waiting in the wings to fix anything that is out of place and make sure everything stays top notch. Our guests cannot stop raving about the view at Zukas, nor the food. Talk about delicious! If I had all of the money in the world to plan my wedding, I would still go back and choose Zukas every single time. Brides, book your wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn. You will NOT regret it.

We held both our ceremony and reception at Zukas Hilltop Barn and the day could not have been more perfect. The entire wedding went off without a hitch due mostly in part to Alyson's efforts and flawless coordination of the day with our wonderful vendors. We booked our wedding at Zukas about 14 months in advance and were lucky enough to get one of Zukas' last 2 available dates for the summer of 2015. As the wedding got closer and closer, my emails to Alyson with questions and concerns increased, and she always replied the same day. My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done on site at the Spa, which couldn't have worked out better. The hair stylists and make-up artists were all fantastic, and it was just so convenient to be on site, and then just to be able to move next door to the Suite to get dressed and for finishing touches. Everything at Zukas was just so beautiful and the tent looked incredible. The grounds are so lovely and provide so many options for photos. We have received endless comments from our guests on the beauty of the venue and the delicious food. It was an incredible day and I can't imagine having had my wedding anywhere else!

We booked Zukas Hilltop Barn for our wedding reception without hesitation! As soon as we met with Alyson and saw the grounds we knew this would be the perfect place for our wedding! Anytime we had a question or concern, Alyson would set our minds at ease! Even a late night email was answered right away by Alyson, she was fabulous! We were so pleased with the owners of Zukas who also went above and beyond to help us plan our details of our wedding reception! Lynn was able to get in all the food, bottled water and even the after dinner Limocello drink we requested! We were also able to bring in all of the Italian cookies, pastries, candy buffet, and a Barista for our Venetian hour after dinner! Our guests are still talking about our wedding reception! Everyone loved the place, the setting and the food! We are so pleased with everyone from Zukas! Thank you again for a beautiful, memorable day! We couldn't be happier with Zukas! Alyson is very responsive, always responding to emails the same day answering any questions and being extremely helpful. Everything we imagined for the day of our wedding came out exactly on point. The service was great, the food was delicious - even better than we had remembered at the tasting. We have received a sea of compliments on the beauty of the venue, overall relaxed feeling and fun atmosphere everyone experienced here. They do not try to sneak in any extra fees or charge you for unnecessary things like other venues we looked at do - they are real people who will make your day so special! Highly recommend to anyone!! Advice though: book early! We booked almost a year and half ahead and there were only about 3 dates left for the entire summer.

Alyson and the Zukas Hilltop Barn staff helped my wedding vision become my reality! Alyson was so great at answering every question that we had, and worked with us the whole year and a half before our wedding. She also referred us to Greg Bedard for a DJ, which was one of the best decisions we made! On the day of the wedding, Alyson was also so amazing with our young nephews who insisted on helping her set the tables and she even went the extra mile when one of the littlest ones was having a meltdown! The bridal suite was perfect to get ready in with my bridesmaids and my husband and I were given a breakfast basket to eat the next morning-- delicious! The grounds were so beautiful and all of our guests loved how big it was with the gazebo, fire pit, etc to go out to. We chose a chicken dish and baked haddock, which is a little unconventional, but everyone raved about the food--I'm still hearing how good the food was weeks later (the cake too)! I would chose Zukas over and over again!

From our first visit to Zukas through our wedding day, they did everything right. Responses to any question, any day and any time, came quickly and efficiently. We felt completely confident in their ability to run our day smoothly, and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the cake was gorgeous, the staff was professional and friendly, and the grounds are stunning. I really can't say enough about this venue. I can only hope that we get to attend a wedding there in the future so we can enjoy it all again!

Zukas Hilltop Barn is gorgeous, secluded, and unique. We had an indoor wedding in the offseason and not only was the price right, but the ambiance of the barn was what really sold us. It was so beautiful on its own that there was not much need for additional decorations.

The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The venue event coordinator helped us with all the finer details and was very responsive to emails. In turn, she also kept us on our schedule by checking in with us the months leading up to our wedding.

The food was also impeccable! People are still talking about how good it was and also how hearty the portions were, you definitely did not feel like you didn't get enough to eat! My favorite is still the squash ravioli! The chef and kitchen were also very in tune to peoples allergies or food restrictions and went out of their way to make sure everyone was accommodated!

I highly suggest booking the bridal suite across the way for either a nights stay and/or day rental for you and bridesmaid to get ready in. If you don't want to spend the additional cost for the suite even just getting your hair and makeup done will add to your experience for the day! The hairdressers were fantastic as well!

Everything about this venue had something to love! I could not have imagined being married anywhere else, and can not thank the staff at Zukas enough for all their help!

Zukas did a phenomenal job with our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception there, and they were both BEAUTIFUL. Guests were very impressed with the beautiful view outside and gorgeous yet cozy interior. The food was great--from appetizers to cupcakes, everything was delicious and looked great. Everything went SO smoothly, too, you can tell they do this all the time there! Alyson was incredible--she is so on top of everything, and helped keep us calm. Excellent venue and service!!!

My fiance and I got married here on 10.17.14 and couldn't be happier with our decision. Zukas Hilltop Barn is the most beautiful wedding venue (as confirmed by our guests) in Massachusetts. We got married during peak fall foliage overlooking the rolling hills and took advantage of the breathtaking scenery. Then, we enjoyed an amazing dinner and epic reception in their beautiful tent!

Alyson, the wedding coordinator, was so incredibly helpful. She is wonderful, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, down to minor details.

Above and beyond how perfect this venue is, it's also the best value in Massachusetts. It's actually AFFORDABLE believe it or not.

This place is GORGEOUS!! Our wedding exceeded all expectations, and we set the bar very high. Alyson was spectacular from start to finish. I highly reccomennd!!!

I had the most amazing experience at Zukas! I would honestly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! The staff was very friendly and helpful and they did everything they could to make our day special. If I could do my wedding over again, I would still choose Zukas!

Everything on the day of, and the many days leading up to, our big day on 8/20/14 was perfect at Zukas Hilltop Barn! Alyson coordinated everything flawlessly and always responded to our emails quickly and with a calming tone ;-) The grounds at Zukas are absolutely GORGEOUS – which really saved on floral costs as there are hanging flowers everywhere – and white so it matches with everything and looks very beautiful. The owners, Lynn & Peter were awesome too – Lynn is the chef and when you are both the owner and the chef- you know the food is going to be good! The food was amazing – everyone said it was the best food they had at a wedding. We gave choices to our guests of beef tenderloin (we held the peppercorn) and chicken with a cranberry herb spread. We had the ice punch bowl and it was a great touch! Everything from initial meeting, to consutation meeting 6 months before, to the week of and day after with helping us load up our car was awesome. We worked with Arthur & Arlene Tatro for our Justice of the Peace – they live right near Zukas, know the place inside and out, are incredibly detail oriented, friendly, and personable and they really made the day and ceremony so incredibly special! We stayed at the Bridal Suite that night and HIGHLY recommend this. We debated back and forth because we also wanted to spend time with guests who stayed at the Comfort Inn in Spencer – but staying at the Bridal Suite was perfect. We got to be alone and talk about the day and it really helped the whole day sink in! They made an adorable breakfast basket for us to have the next morning with breads and cereal and fruit – amazing! Our rustic elegant wedding that was dreamed up in our heads and pintrest came alive on a perfect magical day thanks to Zukas and their staff! SO happy – for any questions feel free to email! Zukas is a magical place, and we are still hearing from guests how it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to, if not the best (including their own...) Here's why:
1. The actual venue is breathtaking. Rolling hills, twinkly tent, vegetable gardens, chickens (!), wooden fences, flowering dreamy meadows, a black and white dance floor, a spacious cocktail hour room with a big wooden bar, beams, fire pit, stone fireplace, and comfy couches. I imagine it is a photographer's dream. The place is gorgeous. You have the whole place to yourself and you feel like you're in another world even though it is outside of Worcester. And it's cost-effective!
2. The food is incredible! I still have guests talking about the cake. My sister-in-law made up a dance in honor of the cake to "Just Can't Get Enough." Each part of the meal was beautiful and tasty, and we loved the sorbet to "cleanse the palate" that was served before the entree. The food is fresh and yummy, and some is grown right on site. This venue is very environmentally friendly, as you can read about on the website.
3. Alyson is a miracle worker. She really cares. She kept us on track, answered emails faster than I think is humanly possible, is incredibly organized and not overwhelming, and such a kind, welcoming presence. When we were leaving the venue the next day (we stayed overnight in their incredible honeymoon suite), she met us outside to return all the things we forgot the night before (whoops!) We did our own decor and she set everything up perfectly! Thank you, Alyson!! Zukas can never lose her since she is one of the best parts of our experience! We also had a great time at the tasting with Alyson. Many couples were there, and there was music, a champagne fountain, drinks, every food option (so clever - like the edible spoons!), decor, etc. It was very helpful.
We are so grateful to Zukas to providing us a gorgeous, surreal, stress-free, EASY wedding process and wedding day. Thank you so much!

Zukas is AMAZING. Alyson might be the most helpful and calming person on the planet. She really goes above and beyond to do her job. My photographer (Kan Photography) has shot a lot of weddings there and says that she is the best venue wedding coordinator he has ever worked with. At one point while we were doing our photographs before the wedding, I looked up to see her SPRINTING towards me; I guess one of our guests had called the venue to find out details about when our bus leaves.

All of the food at Zukas was delicious and the venue itself is absolutely stunning in the spring. I really like that they have their own flowers hanging on the edge of the tent and the little Christmas lights strung up. The tent is amazing and the view from the hill is stunning. There are so many great places to take gorgeous photos and the bridal suite is to die for.

Zukas is an amazing venue! Alyson is absolutely the most wonderful person to help plan a wedding, as she is attentive and detail orientated and has the best personality for this job! Not knowing step one about planning a large wedding, it was actually very easy with Alyson's help. The gorgeous venue itself is a photographer's dream (at least that's what ours said as she had never been there being from Sudbury, MA)! It's been two weeks since our wedding and people are still raving about the food!! From the cocktail hour to the entrees to the phenomenal dessert bar every morsel was absolutely outstanding! Zukas is by far one of the best places in this area to have an unforgettable wedding day! Top notch all around from day one!!

Zukas Hilltop Barn in my opinion is the only place to have a wedding. We have been to a few weddings here, and when we started out planning we did not look anywhere else! The venue is beautiful, the ceremony gazebo, wedding tent, fire pit were perfect! They had just finished bailing hay in the field which gave another amazing backdrop. Alyson was a dream to work with. She made every step of the planning virtually stress free. Many of our guests said it was the best food they have had at a wedding, and I would definitely agree. Zukas gave us the perfect wedding, and memories for the rest of our lives!!

I always thought I'd get married in the city but when my mother took me to Zukas which is about a 10 min drive from where I grew up I knew immediately I wanted to get married there. The venue is so unique and breathtaking. I live across the country so planning a wedding was quite stressful at times but Alyson, the wedding coordinator, was such a tremendous help and always so responsive! Our guests raved about the property itself, the food, and the service. I can't thank the whole team at Zukas enough. It was a perfect day!

I cannot say enough about Zukas Hilltop Barn and about Alyson Russo, the Zukas events coordinator! We visited many venues and chose Zukas not only for its obvious beauty, but also because we immediately felt at ease with Alyson's professionalism, friendliness, and her willingness to work with us. She was remarkable, from start to finish - promptly responding to all of my emails, and addressing any concerns and questions I had throughout the planning process quickly and accurately.

Zukas requests that you drop off all of your decorations, favors, etc. a few days before the wedding date, and then they set it up for you. I was a bit weary about this because we had some complicated centerpieces that I even struggled with arranging when I was trying it out at home. However, when I arrived on the day of our wedding, the place looked even more beautiful than I had imagined it! When we were taking pictures outside (in the freezing cold - we got married on December 7th), Alyson made sure to quickly bring us some of the hors d'oeuvres (especially the hot ones!) and also brought us some hot cider and more hors d'oeuvres to help us thaw out while we were in the bridal suite after the pictures. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, and fun and easy to work with (which is a combination that you don't always see in the wedding world).

We got so many compliments on our gorgeous venue, and people are still talking about how good the food was (our food choices were the stuffed chicken breast, filet mignon, or butternut squash ravioli) and how professional and courteous the staff was. If I had to plan my wedding 100 times over again (not that I would ever want to!), I would choose Zukas every time!
