  Fern and Fountain is amazing!

  Fern and Fountain was so great to work with. Emily did a set of engagement photos for us and she is so talented and creative. She has an eye for the coolest shots and the ability to make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. You can see every emotion in our faces and when we look back at our photos, it's like we are reliving the evening all over again. Emily is amazing! If you haven't booked her yet- do it now! You will not regret it!

  Fern & Fountain Photo Shoot

  Fern & Fountain was great to work with. Emily shot photos of my fianceé and I and it was a fun experience. She made us laugh the entire time and it never felt awkward. Emily is really good about telling you how to pose but also making sure it looks natural. My fianceé and I love our photos and will be sure to pass Fern & Fountain onto anyone looking for an experienced photographer.

  Best Decision of our Wedding!!

  Where do we even start? Emily is amazing! She worked with us for both our engagement and wedding photos. Neither my husband or I feel like we’re photogenic or know how to pose for the especially cute photos, we both just feel awkward in front of the camera. We expressed this to Emily early on and she didn’t just guide us to the right poses. She used conversation and jokes to make us both comfortable and feeling natural. That’s one thing that initially brought us to her, her photos aren’t all just your typical posed “say ‘cheese!’” pictures. I look back on the pictures from both our engagement and wedding and I don’t just see the posed photos with our friends and family (although she got some great ones like that too!), I see when my husband was goofing around with his groomsman and how naturally happy they all look. I can just hear the laughter of the whole wedding party while we’re taking couple pictures and he is convinced to lay down under my dress. I see the genuine reaction on his parents face to our officiant’s joke about my husband’s inability to make a decision. More than anything, Emily captured our personalities. I still don’t know how she managed to, but she got everyone perfectly.

  Such a joy to work with!!!

  I met Emily because she was the photographer for a wedding that was held at my venue. I quickly learned that Emily is extremely hard-working, kind and passionate about her photography and the people she works with. She really pays attention to the details that can easily be missed during such a chaotic but exciting day, such as a wedding day. She works with such ease and confidence, and always has a smile on her face. It was a pleasure to work with her and get to see her expertise shine (: I look forward to working with her many more times in the future!

  Wonderful experience and product!

  Getting engagement photos taken by Emily felt like being on a fun, romantic date! My fiance and I were uncertain about whether the photoshoot would feel awkward and how we would pose, but right from the start, Emily made this experience comfortable and enjoyable.   Fine Ol' Photos

  Emily was very friendly and made me and my lady feel very comfortable. I am not one to participate in photoshoots, but Emily made my engagement photos an enjoyable experience and a memory for me and my fiancee.

  We can't say enough good things about Fern and Fountain! We love our pictures and we loved working with Emily! From the very beginning, Emily was so attentive to us. She has a way of making you feel comfortable like you've known her a long time and she took the time and energy to get to know us as a couple. She has such a beautiful way of capturing not just the event but a moment with all of its wonderful emotion and authenticity. She was so flexible working with us during COVID and went above and beyond on our big day. I'm so thankful my fiance used her for our engagement photos and for our wedding and for our future wedding celebration in October. She is an absolute joy and her photos captured so perfectly the joy of our wedding. We cannot recommend her enough!!!! :)

  Em is so wonderful to work with and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and has tricks to make the pictures look very natural.

  Incredible Photos from an Incredible Person

  I used Fern & Fountain to photograph my engagement and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I could not be happier with the result. In fact, Emily was so great to work with we used her for a family photoshoot as a gift to my mom and my then fiance loved the pictures so much we used her for the wedding too! We will keep going back to F&F for any photography needs we have. Emily goes the extra mile to not only get us the best product possible but to make it the best process as well. She puts everyone at ease and keeps things light and fun. She met with me prior to the proposal to help me plan and to figure out the best way to be as clandestine as possible so the surprise would go off perfectly. I'm amazed at how well she was able to capture the moment so intimately while not being invasive in the least. Simply said, you cant do better than Fern & Fountain for anything that requires a camera and a great person.

  Sweetest Photographer Around

  Emily was incredibly sweet and helpful!! When I was looking for a photographer I messaged a lot of people inquiring about prices, Emily shocked me in the way she was so immediately friendly and fun to talk to when I was simply doing research. Emily did my husband and I's engagement and wedding photos and let me tell you having her do our engagement photos took a weight off my shoulders for the wedding because i was no longer concerned of how will my photographer be? will they be awkward? will we be awkward around them? i was now excited because i new that she was so much fun to work with and her pictures were incredible!! Emily has made this whole process easy, she offered to make the schedule for the day of for me so i wouldnt have to worry, she would message and email me many times leading up to the day to see if there was anything she could do and then on the day of the wedding she was wonderfully sweet and helpful to not only myself but my family as well!! I would(and have) recommend Emily to anyone and everyone because she is so friendly to everyone, fun, and amazingly helpful!! oh and her pictures are incredible!! (: Every time i have seen my grandmother since the wedding she has told me she loved Emily because she was just the sweetest!!

  Devoted & accommodating

  Not only did we receive lovely wedding photos, but we received personal devotion from Emily! She was wonderfully accommodating and we are so pleased with our photos. Emily checked in with us often and expressed so much enthusiasm on our special day and leading up to it. Highly recommend!!

  Everything I wanted

  Zach was great to work with and made sure we got everything we wanted in our wedding video last year! I really appreciated his chillness throughout the whole process, during the planning and especially during the wedding day with all the nerves going on! I was honestly blown away by how sweet and awesome our video turned out- he was able to capture so many good moments. And the quality was awesome! Thanks so much again!! My only regret is that I didn't also book his wife for the photography!
