Absolutely Amazing!
Cat was fantastic at making the hair/makeup/ tanning process stress free. I got a spray tan for my bridal shower and wedding, and I felt so comfortable and beautiful! It gave me that healthy glow! I had two makeup artists and two hair stylists to do my hair and makeup, my bridesmaids hair and makeup, and my mom/ mother in laws hair and makeup. Everyone looked STUNNING! Everyone’s hair and makeup was so perfect, they all looked like themselves. Absolutely breathtaking! My hair and makeup was even better than my trials. It was all so perfect, and the team really enhanced the getting ready vibes. I would use them again and again. You will not regret working with Feeling Pretty! -

The Feeling Pretty Team made all of us feel beautiful on my wedding day! When they saw that one of my bridesmaid's hair didn't hold curl well in a half up half down style they asked her if they could try a whole new hairstyle for no extra charge to make sure she felt beautiful! She was so thankful and she didn't even have to ask to change it, the team was on it! Everyone was so friendly and easy to chat with as well, the ultimate hype girls! -

I am so, so appreciative of Cat and the team she assigned to my wedding. Cat was so understanding and lovely throughout my process. I'm pretty natural - I'm not terribly into makeup and the girly things in life so getting dolled up for my wedding took some getting used to! Lenee was a total pro with my hair along with my mother, MIL, and three friends. She was so patient and listened to what each of us wanted and executed perfectly. She was also so lovely during my trial and to have in my suite the morning of the wedding. Amanda was our makeup artist and did she rise to the occasion! She was my third makeup trial and she nailed it. She gave me great advice ahead of time on how my makeup would lay better on my face. I did as she suggested and it really made a difference. We had a few others on the day of who had challenging skin and she also nailed it. She was so much fun to chat with and have around. Both Lenee and Amanda just gave us wonderful, positive, fun energy the morning of so I really could not have asked for a better team. Thank you, Cat, for providing such a wonderful experience for my wedding day! I will be forever grateful. -

I had a good feeling about my decision after my hair and makeup trial.
The owner, Catherine made me feel right at home and Lucy (makeup) and Lenee (hair) made my vision come to life. When I had minor feedback for what I want changed for the day of- they took it all in. I LOVED my wedding day look. We also had Noor as well for the day of and my bridesmaids loved her!
The three of them were truly the best hype girls and got the job done seamlessly. -

I can't say enough good things about Cat!! She made me look like an absolute QUEEN on my wedding day!! I usually don't like getting my makeup done because I always feel like it looks unnatural and borderline clownish on me. I cautiously asked for a "natural glam" look at our trial, and she absolutely nailed it! Cat's vibe is so sweet, lighthearted, social, and encouraging - she aims to please, and she DELIVERS! Not only was the makeup she did for me absolutely flawless, but it lasted my ENTIRE wedding! It was upwards on 90 degrees on wedding day and I was sweating pretty much the entire time, but the makeup didn't budge! I can't tell you how many people came up to me throughout the reception and said, "How is your makeup still perfect?!" 11/10 -

Cat with Feeling Pretty was so great to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process! During our first call I felt heard by her and felt like I could trust her with the look for my big day! I'd been in other friends weddings, and I had never loved how my HMU turned out when done professionally, but when we had my trial she exceeded all of my expectations and I left feeling so excited about my look for the big day! Cat (makeup) and Mandi (hair) were so patient with me and listened to my vision and well as the concerns I had from previous experiences. For the morning of the wedding, I had a pretty big bridal party and getting ready group and she was so accommodating from moving up our start time so we could have a bit more time before having to leave (SO thankful to have done this bc time goes by so fast) to having four artists come that morning. All my girls felt beautiful and our hair and makeup stayed the whole day despite light rain during our bridal pictures! I would definitely recommend Feeling Pretty for your wedding! -

Perfect Day!
Cat, my coordinator was incredibly fantastic with listening to what I wanted for my hair and makeup. She was attentive, kind and sweet. She communicated with me and never made me feel stressed or anxious coming up to my wedding day. What I really loved about Cat was how she wanted to get to know me and my story of how I met my husband. In the times of communicating with other vendors, she was the first and made me feel heard, seen and special. Thank you Cat!
Now for my hair and makeup stylist, Noor was beyond amazing!!! She went above and beyond and made me feel so comfortable through the whole process. It turned out perfect and more than what I had envisioned. She even did my sisters makeup and it was so beautiful. Noor was so friendly and kind. She made my wedding day perfect! -

The two girls who did our makeup and hair were absolutely incredible - I got my dream hair and all my bridesmaids looked so incredible. Catherine, the owner, was super flexible about adding the flower girls last minute. Kara and Sydney were right on time and worked so well. They also did amazing makeup on our moms, which can be hard to do! So I would definitely book them again. -

Wedding Bliss
Cat was absolutely amazing at her craft and making me feel the utmost beautiful during my wedding week! Not only did she provide me with a couple of spray tanning sessions with my makeup package, but she also offered it up to my bridesmaids! Very accommodating and prepared with everything needed from the trial to the day of. Listened to what I was hoping for in my wedding day look and NAILED it! So many compliments and the pictures came out great. I will definitely be buzzing her back for another event. I’ve found my go-to girl for my makeup! -

Exactly what I wanted!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Catherine Baran Chlipala. Not only is she a best friend to me, she is one of the most professional , talented make up artists I know. The best! I am so grateful that she was able to be at my wedding. After flying hundreds of miles to be there, she rocked the make up for me, my mom and my sister. No trial needed, I had 100% confidence in this girl. We all felt pretty!
I highly recommend make up by Catherine and to follow her Facebook page as well. She definitely knows her stuff... you can tell by her own flawless style and make up job! Take it from this picky, perfectionist bride. -

Simply put, Catherine is AMAZING at what she does. She is the ultimate professional and turned our bridal party into the picture of perfection. I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. Catherine had a great eye for designing the perfect look for each of us and combined it with all our wants and needs perfectly. She’s extremely easy going and has a super fun personality. The best decision i could have ever made!
Cat was nothing short of incredible as my glam squad on my wedding day. She came in last minute after COVID ruined my initial wedding plans and we decided to do a smaller ceremony last minute. Not only did Cat make herself available last minute, but she found time to squeeze in a trial as well. On my wedding day my hair and makeup looked amazing, as did my bridesmaids and mother's. They also held up extremely well considering we got married on the hottest and most humid day of the year (100 degree heat with that intense humidity). As we got ready she made sure to ask everyone what they wanted and stayed true to our styles. She is a great listener and made the getting ready portion lots of fun! Cat is such an amazing person and will go above and beyond for you regardless if it's your wedding, special occasion, or bodybuilding competition. If you're on the fence, look no further! Catherine & Noor were incredible!!
I cant recommend Catherine & her team enough!
I reached out to Catherine about 2 months before my wedding after a makeup trial gone wrong & she was so quick to get me scheduled! She was always very flexible & responsive. I took advantage of the complimentary spray tan & I was obsessed with the results! I’m very fair skinned so I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be the perfect glow. She knew exactly what she was doing & she made me feel at ease as she worked.
Noor was my hair and makeup artist for my trials and day of looks! She was lovely each time! So polite and always punctual. Her work is so great! She’s quick & efficient, but doesn’t miss a beat! I was so happy with my hair & makeup! Both lasted all night even on a particularly hot day.
You can’t go wrong booking with Catherine! -

Cat herself is amazing! She's so funny and kind. She answered my questions as quickly as possible even with all the weddings, proms, homecoming etc and being a mom herself! Sydney is an amazing makeup artist along with Nikki styling our hair. They nailed everything we wanted. Cat even hired a 3rd person to help the day of, Noir who was excellent as well. They're all full of energy and I loved the experience ❤️ 10/10 I'd recommend her and her team. -

Cat and Alejandra were great to work with on the day of my wedding. Upbeat and positive and punctual and on time. However communication with Cat was weak, I often has to email 3-4 times before I got one response (didn't hear a response regarding my trail until 2 days before my date scheduled after not hearing anything for weeks).
I was really happy with my hair, Alejandra used my extensions and did exactly what I wanted. Make up was for me, four bridesmaids, MOB, and hair style for the groom. Our make up was cakey and heavy and unfortunately photographed as so, one of my bridesmaids ended up redoing hers. -

Not professional after all
I read such wonderful reviews and was very anxious to get scheduled in, I was thrilled to know I secured my wedding date! I do have a gluten allergy, which I forgot to disclose and when I had my trial date, it was not a fun time. When I got there, I met the MUA assigned to me, she's a lovely lady, she did follow the inspo pic I brought, however, she made my lips look bigger by drawing OVER the outline of my lips. Normally when I do my eyeliner, I do mid eye to the wing, however she refused to follow my wishes stating that corner to corner would look better. (It didn't) upon my reveal I noticed the wing want attached, when I asked why, she said it looked better that way, I said no, please attach the wing. Upon further looking, I was not happy, to which she said to look in another mirror with different lighting. I was not happy at all, I specifically asked to not have a caked on look, but throughout the process she kept spraying me with water because she felt I was dehydrated (as I was drinking my DAILY gallon of water). Aside from the eyeliner, cake look, I was a golden hue...I asked for a natural look and I looked gold! When I got home, the gluten allergy had kicked in, and my fave proceed to break out and other gluten symptoms persisted. I spoke with Cat that day and told her the situation. She then proceed to tell me o bo, I'm not sure about GF makeup, and cross contamination. I'm not sure how to go about to find GF makeup that you would be ok to use. She then proceed to tell me to go to Sephora, buy my makeup and they can use my makeup on me. When I asked if I would be compensated, she said no because I was paying for the Artistry! Now, I'm no MUA, but I do not have the 1st clue on what makeup to purchase, look for, or what is needed, hence me hiring a MUA for my wedding. The following day I called again and spoke to Cat, requesting a cancelation of my wedding day makeup. I 100% agreed to pay for the trial, as I had already done it, but based off of what she told me, and her abilities to not do what a MUA does she would not be able to fulfill her part of the contract, so I wished to cancel. And I admitted to being my fault for not mentioning my gluten allergy as well as asking if she was knowledgeable of gf makeup. After 2 weeks of emails with 5+ days in response to emails, she finally agreed to cancel and refund my deposit, minus the trial ALONG WITH A HIDDEN ADMIN FEE OF $120.00! A fee that is no where mentioned at all in the contract, this admin fee magically popped up, and Cat graciously agreed to only charge me half of the admin fee afyer I disputed the absurd charge. Sad to say, I was the 1% that was extremely unhappy with my experience, I wish things would have worked out better and I wish things were handled more professionally. I should have stated the gluten allergy from the get go, lesson learned on my behalf. I did receive a refund....she was feeling gracious and reduced the "admin fee" to $60.00.... -
