Fathom Gallery 14th Street was truly the perfect backdrop for our April 2026 wedding. We were looking for an intimate affair with our closest friends and family, that was unique but still had the bones of everything you would expect from a wedding. FG14 absolutely delivered with that vision.
Working with Meg, Emily, and Olivia was easy. With all three being incredibly helpful with organizing site visits, talking through the plan, and staying organized to make sure everything was ready to go for the big day.
A few things to note for future couples considering weddings at FG14, there are definitely additional logistics involved with catering, set ups, and space constraints that you would not have to think through at a larger venue. But the ladies running the ship have truly seen it all and can help with any questions. I would highly recommend using their preferred vendors who have worked in this space, especially catering, if you plan to max out the capacity like we did.
Last comment, this venue truly could not have been in a better location. We stayed at the Viceroy a block away, and the venue was so convenient to get to, and was also closeby to bars and restaurants which was fantastic for our guests travelling in.

This was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved having the indoor and outdoor space, plus the multiple levels. The team was so easy to work with; they were very communicative and accommodating and made me confident that the event would go smoothly. The venue also included several extras like personalized framed photos and furniture which saved us time and money on decor and rentals. 100% recommend! -

Working with Meg and Emily was a delightful experience, as they were attentive to every detail and ensured a seamless collaboration. The venue itself received high praise from all event attendees, with its flexibility making it suitable for a wide range of occasions. We had our 105+ person wedding ceremony on the rooftop garden at Fathom Gallery 14th St and loved every second! The space spoke to who we are as a couple and is situated in the heart of 14th Street, where our love grew. The Fathom ladies (as we affectionately call them), Meg, Emily, and their team are phenomenal stewards of the space. Meg and Emily worked interchangeably to help us with seamless communication and flexibility throughout our wedding planning. We decided to have just our wedding ceremony at the gallery, and they found the right pricing to make it work for both parties. The space outside fits just over 100 people perfectly. We used the upstairs for the bridal party right before the ceremony, which was an addition that was well worth it. On our wedding day, the team was on-site and provided great energy as we made our way down the aisle. We took wedding portraits with family and made the ten-minute walk to our reception venue, Gypsy Kitchen, straight down 14th Street!
What separates the Fathom team is the little things. They were able to get the building next door to shut off their AC unit during the ceremony, which made a huge difference, given that we were outside. If you choose to have your wedding at Fathom Gallery, they will print ten of your favorite photos of you and your spouse for display around the venue. Having your wedding at Fathom Gallery will ensure you are in good hands and in a beautiful space! -

We absolutely loved this venue for our champagne toast celebrating our elopement. The team was very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the beginning of the planning process. They were very communicable, flexible and helpful in ensuring our day was successful. Our guests raved about their experience at the venue and it was the perfect backdrop to a beautiful day. -

We recently hosted our engagement party at Fathom Gallery. Meg helped us with coordinating and planning our event. The gallery had amazing vendor recommendations, and Meg assisted us every step of the way, providing perfect solutions for any issues we encountered. My friends and family still talk about how beautiful our party was, and many of my friends have asked for details so they can book their own weddings/events at the Fathom Gallery. I think this venue would be perfect for an intimate wedding in the city, and the Fathom Gallery staff are a pleasure to work with. You really can't find a more stunning venue in the city for such a reasonable price. -

The Fathom Gallery 14th Street provided such a uniquely charming setting in the heart of DC to host our wedding ceremony and reception, and we could not have been more thrilled with our choice of venue! Both the indoor space and the patio provided a beautiful backdrop to bring our vision to life in a way that made it feel like it was truly designed just for us. The layout at Fathom allows for so much flexibility for any couple to create the event of their dreams, and Meg + the Fathom team were very responsive and helpful as we made our wedding dream a reality. We opted for an intimate ceremony (approx. 30ppl) on the patio followed by a larger reception (approx. 90ppl) using the full space, and it turned out beautifully! Not only did we have the best day ever, but all of our guests raved about how inviting the space felt and how much fun they had. We would highly recommend the Fathom Gallery to any couple looking to host their wedding ceremony, reception or both! -

Perfect venue for a small wedding!
I can't recommend Fathom enough. We had a small wedding (about 25 people) and it was the perfect size to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The garden and the interior are both beautiful and our photos came out amazing. Meg and Emily made the process super easy, too; it was a completely stress-free planning process and wedding day. Having our photos up on the wall was also a great touch, it felt really personalized. -

Look no further!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Fathom Gallery and could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Meg and Emily are wonderful to work with; responsive, professional, transparent, understanding, and truly fun to chat with. We had so many guests compliment Fathom Gallery, for its urban location but private feel. If you want a wedding located in the heart of DC, this is the place! -

Fathom was the perfect venue for our small wedding, and we couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. There really is no other place like it in DC, especially at their price point. Their staff are extremely responsive, professional, kind, and helpful. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding under 70 guests. Perfectly intimate and convenient downtown location. -

Gorgeous Space & Excellent Coordinator
Fathom was an absolute dream venue for our revised COVID wedding. We worked with Kristen and planned our wedding in less than a month, and it was so much better than I could have imagined! They offered affordable pricing on the space due to the pandemic and ever-changing plans couples are facing. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are gorgeous with no decorations (saved us money with minimal flowers) but they offer lots of recommendations for vendors and make sure everything runs smoothly. Kristen offered to cue up our Spotify playlists through the sound system for our ceremony music, dances etc. so we didn't have to hire a DJ, and helped us think through ways to utilize the space for our number of guests. We felt very safe with the COVID protocols from all vendors and the space was immaculately clean. I would absolutely recommend it for any event! -

Fathom Gallery is a hidden treasure tucked away in Logan Circle!
Location: Located right on 14th St above Slipstream coffee shop! Super convenient for Ubers, and there is a small private parking garage (not owned by the gallery) around the corner on Rhode Island and 14th St that is really accommodating for guests that opt to drive.
The Space: The space has tons of character with the perfect balance of modern and classic design. It's so beautiful inside, so you could go really simple with decor and photos will still turn out great! There is an outdoor patio and indoor event space that are both equally beautiful. We did our vow ceremony outside and reception dinner inside, and the transition was really easy. Having the outside space was so key during the pandemic, allowing guests to feel comfortable outside and socially distanced.
Service & Value:
- Working with Kristen was really fantastic. She is so friendly and was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She was there to give me a preview of the space, and was there on the day of the wedding to make sure the wedding planner had the support needed.
- What I loved was that there was a set of furniture that is included (various tables, chairs, couches) that are available to use. We had a really simple wedding and didn't have to rent/order any furniture. The aesthetic is clean and modern which is really easy to dress up if desired.
- They had a contact for a "butler/bartender" who we hired for an additional fee to help with drinks and set up. He knows the space well and the service was very well priced.
- We did a family style buffet from an outside vendor (local restaurant) and Fathom was really flexible with us choosing the vendor we wanted to work with.
We couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding! -

Not only were I and my husband pleased with the venue for a wedding of about 90 people, but our guests exclaimed how much they loved the venue and how perfect it was during and after the wedding. Kristen and Emily were flexible and accommodating, and the venue also has a great reputation among our other vendors. -

We are absolutely over the moon with the experience we had at Fathom Gallery and with their entire team. From start to finish, they made it incredibly easy to plan and help us fine tune our idea for our wedding. It was fantastic having one spot for both ceremony and reception, and they do this so frequently that they're incredibly efficient. The space is so beautiful on its own that it really didn't need much in the way of additional decor, and I LOVE that they include printing photos for you to hang gallery-style. -

We were planning our wedding from the other side of the country, and their team made sure we never felt out of control or out of the loop. The venue itself is gorgeous, unique, and a great value. Many of our guests said they felt like they were at a chic loft in NYC. Their staff is amazing, in particular, Kristen, who was our primary contact and day-of coordinator. She seamlessly handled a cranky catering coordinator, all of our vendors needing direction, and my family and friends milling about setting up. We were all flying out the next day as well, and Kristen and Emily were both wonderful about letting us pick up any leftover items on Sunday.

Kathryn Sent on 10/27/2017The gallery was an amazing space for our October wedding. The outdoor space on the deck was perfect for an intimate ceremony around sunset, lit by overhead cafe lights. Our guests could move and mingle inside or outside for the remainder of the cocktail hour and reception, which created a great flow for the event. The gallery manager Emily is wonderful to work with and knows all of the ins and outs of planning an amazing event at Fathom.

Beautiful Modern Space in Great Location
Due to COVID we needed to change our wedding plans many times to find a place where we could hold everything outside, in February. Fathom is a clean, modern, and interesting space that allowed us to have an event without having to add too much in order for it to feel finished. The venue also has a lot of furniture included in the rental price and we were able to add heaters and a tent for the outdoors. The outdoor space has cafe lights and sound and so many outlets that allowed us to add more twinkle lights. Working with Kristen could not have been a better experience, she was very responsive, answered all our questions, and also was so kind and fun. The wedding and dinner went so smoothly and we could not have been happier with our experience at Fathom. They even let us drop off our alcohol the night before in their garage space to avoid having to run around on the day of the wedding. We also loved the addition of having 10 prints hung around the gallery and the use of the TV so that we could play the speeches from the family members who could not be with us that day. Also loved that we could walk there from our hotel (The Darcy - awesome place!) We absolutely recommend Fathom for smaller events! -
