Of all the decisions my now-husband and I made for our wedding this past Saturday, Father Jim was by far the best one. Long before the ceremony date, he was helpful, communicative, patient, and guided us wonderfully. We live in Florida, so we were planning from afar, and not only was this not an obstacle for Father Jim, but he made every interaction feel like a comfort. He replied promptly, and helped us make revisions to our script until we had the one we wanted. Once we were in town for the wedding, we all did a rehearsal the day before, and he calmly walked us through everything. Neither of us have ever been married before, so we were frankly quite nervous and lost as to how everything was supposed to proceed. Father Jim was our rock and voice of sanity, and we left our rehearsal feeling like we were truly in the best hands. It felt like he was going to take care of us no matter what happened. And take care of us he did! The big day was incredible. It couldn’t have gone better, and that is due in majority part to Father Jim’s incredible improvisation. As always with weddings, I’m told, some things were not in place where they should have been. We opted for a Celtic handfasting at the end of our ceremony, and the special handfasting rope we brought had somehow been placed at least 10 feet behind Father Jim so that he could not reach it—I panicked when I realized this, and I was so sure we would have to skip it now. But Father Jim was quick, calm, cool, and collected, and used his stole instead. He spoke to the crowd and signified that it was the most special thing he could use to bind us in our covenant with God, and it ended up being even more beautiful than if we had used our rope. I was amazed—he never skipped a beat. No one knew that what he did and said there hadn’t been part of the script! He was amazing. The second hiccup we had was that we had chosen two bible readings to be read by young family members. Turns out, one reader didn’t get the message, so we ended up with only one. Again, I panicked when I heard the silence, but Father Jim gracefully moved on at just the right time and no one was the wiser. He is the most professional, wonderful officiant. And not only that, but he was kind enough to let us know that he would honor my husband’s late father in both Sunday Masses on the day that followed our ceremony. That meant the world to us, and it made it all the more emotional and moving when we arrived at the part in our ceremony where Father Jim paid homage by name to my husband’s father. I truly couldn’t be happier with who we chose to marry us before God, and I will cherish the kindness and resourcefulness and skill of Father Jim for the rest of my life. Because we live out of state and flew home on early Monday morning, Father Jim also helped us take care of our marriage documents and made sure they got to Pennsylvania. We had been stressing about how we were going to get those documents to the court with a weekend wedding, and once again, Father Jim came to our rescue. This is why we are so proud of our Catholic faith, because this is the kind of heart and community and kindness that we are promised in our people, and we couldn’t be prouder that Father Jim was the man who bound us to God as husband and wife. Thank you for everything you did for us, Father Jim. We will be stopping by for Mass the next time we’re up north! -

Best Experience Ever
It was truly a blessing to have found Monsignor Jim. From our very first meeting, he made us feel welcome and at ease, and he guided us through every step of our wedding ceremony process with patience and care. His communication and willingness to help in any way possible were unmatched. On the day itself, he brought so much warmth and joy to our wedding celebration. We are so grateful for the role he played in beginning our marriage, and we would recommend him to any couple looking for an officiant who truly cares. -

Choosing Father Jim as our wedding officiant was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! He made our ceremony feel so personal, heartfelt, and full of love. As a couple with two different religious upbringings we spent a lot of time thinking about what we wanted to do for our wedding. My husband, grew up Catholic, but I never had gone through all the processes to be married in the Catholic Church. It's something we want to take time to do while not rushing the process. We did of course want to continue on with getting married. Father Jim checked all the boxes and we were able to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be. After booking him we attended one of his services which happened to be a day 3 kids got baptized. We truly got to see his personality shine in his home church. We knew we made a great decision. Father Jim was so easy to work with when it came laying out our ceremony, to signing our marriage license to making the mood fun but also focusing on the importance of the day and committing our life to one another. We received so much great feedback following our wedding. We could not recommend him enough and wish all the couples who have the pleasure of working with him a beautiful wedding day. -

We are so grateful to have had Father Jim officiate our wedding. He married our friends a few years ago, and after seeing his style and professionalism, we knew we wanted him to be a part of our day as well. From the very beginning, he was communicative and supportive, helping us design and tailor our ceremony to reflect exactly what we wanted.
Father Jim is not only incredibly professional, but also such a genuine and kind person. He guided us seamlessly through the process, even taking the time to run our rehearsal the same day he was officiating another wedding—which meant so much to us. On top of everything, he handled submitting our marriage license, which was such a relief as we headed straight into our honeymoon.
Colin and I are truly thankful for Father Jim’s presence, guidance, and care throughout this special time in our lives. We also know he will be there to support us throughout our marriage as we have seen him do so with our friends. We could not have asked for a better officiant and wholeheartedly recommend him.

Wonderful Officiant & Ceremony
Father Jim was the best choice we could have made when it came to an wedding officiant! He made the ceremony planning process so easy with his thorough online booklet of ceremony options and was so responsive throughout. He completely removed any stress we had about the ceremony, allowing us to enjoy the moment fully. His presence was warm and calming, and the ceremony itself was beautiful—perfectly tailored to us.

Couldn't be happier
Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and more. Father Jim was INCREDIBLE to work with. He made the process so easy and was always available for any questions I had. Most people don't mention the ceremony to you after the wedding. But we had several guests come up to us and tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding ceremony they have been to. Father Jim spoke so beautifully and he even added some needed humor when our unity candle wouldn't light. I highly recommend Father Jim!! -

When preparing for our marriage, we knew right away who to ask to marry us. Father Jim married my sister 10 years ago and I remembered how wonderful he was. For my wedding, he was even more amazing! We had to change plans because of a storm and Father Jim just went with the flow. He definitely helped me stay calm through the whole thing. Father Jim made our ceremony perfect!! We are Christian but do not go to any particular church and chose father Jim from a recommendation. He was so friendly, personable, & responsive through the whole process. Our absolute favorite part was that he sends his couples an extensive pamphlet for them to basically customize their ceremony!!! He has different options for each section of a typical ceremony with additional options as well. We did not want to write our own vows so this was literally perfect to still have some personalization in our ceremony! He truly made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, we recommend 100%! -

We just celebrated our wedding this past weekend and Monsignor Jim was amazing!! He was so responsive and helped make the planning process a breeze. During the rehearsal and ceremony, it felt like we had known him forever. So many guests came up to us at the reception and complimented what a wonderful, beautiful ceremony it was!! We cannot thank Monsignor Jim enough for being such an important part of our special day!! We would highly recommend him to couples for their special day, as well. Thank you so much!! -

My husband and I read such amazing reviews for Father James St. George and immediately knew we had to book him. He was wonderful during the planning process being prompt and answering all our questions. Fast forward to the rehearsal, when we met him we immediately felt like we've known him for years. He made the wedding day so much more special and so many of our guests praised compliments of him to us. Wedding wire recommended Father Jim because of our venue location. The reviews about him in wedding wire definitely lived up to what we experienced during our wedding ceremony. It was a pleasure working with him. He responds to our emails very quickly, even though we were late sending our ceremony options. We loved the final draft that he sent us, and we didn't need to change a thing. He came in on time and didn't mind waiting when we were delayed. We didn't do any wedding rehearsals but he made the ceremony very smooth.
He made our day extra special. Very recommended! -

Amazing Experience
Selecting Father James St George to officiate our wedding was one of the most important decisions my wife and I have made for our wedding. He did not disappoint. From the first moment we spoke with Father James we knew we wanted him to take part in officiating our wedding. Our wedding felt so magical, special, and Father James added to that by adding in his own positive energy and personal sense of excitement into the day. The ceremony felt so personable and filled with love. The ceremony was the most important part of our wedding and we felt that Father James represented our religious values in a way that felt perfect. Father Jim is funny, eloquent, and extremely responsive. He responded to my emails within the hour and was so accommodating! During the rehearsal he told everyone exactly what their cues were with a great sense of humor. Couldn’t recommend him more! -

Excellent Prep and Moving Ceremony
Msgr. Jim St. George was outstanding. He worked with us every step of the way to craft the perfect wedding ceremony, and he was incredibly moving and heartfelt in his delivery. The bride's grandmother said it was the best Catholic (and partly Jewish!) ceremony she's ever seen, and multiple people commented on how moving the ceremony was.

We were married by Father Jim on July 29, 2022. We were so happy & grateful that Father was able to perform our ceremony, it truly made such a difference on the most important day of our lives. To be able to have a beautiful customized ceremony performed by a priest at our venue made all the difference in the world to us. So many of our guests commented that it was the most beautiful & touching wedding ceremony they’ve ever attended. His description of how Father Jim commented on how St. Miriam accepts all people, was very moving. Father Jim & St. Miriam’s makes a difference in the lives of so many people on a daily basis; he absolutely made a difference on the most important day of our life together - thank you!

Incredible Officiant
My husband and I got married on April 23rd 2022, and hired Monsignor Jim to be our officiant.
We hired him right before COVID hit, and throughout the madness of the pandemic he was extremely responsive and flexible when we told him we needed to move our original date.
We did not get to meet Monsignor Jim until the rehearsal, which was the day before the wedding. (All communication was through email!) Even though this was the case, it truly felt like we had known him for a lifetime. He adapted to our personalities and quickly understood our family dynamic. It made the wedding all the more special because he played off of our humor and made it a very fun, unique experience.
Our guests complimented him throughout the entire night, which was definitely not something we expected but truly made the night even more unforgettable.
We would HIGHLY recommend Monsignor Jim! -

Father James was everything we were looking for in a celebrant! My husband is divorced and therefore we were unable to be married in the Catholic Church. However, finding Father James and learning about St. Miriams wasn’t just the next best thing, it was the BEST thing. I was able to fully design our ceremony and personalize it to our liking. AMAZING - highly recommend
Father James St George was amazing! We had our wedding at the stroudsmoor country inn and he came highly recommended. We wanted to have our marriage sacrament in an outdoors environment and he was able to do that for us! He was always very responsive when I had questions leading up to the wedding, and sent in for a marriage certificate super quickly! He is a great public speaker, and his words were so meaningful. He gave me a bunch of options to choose from to customize my wedding ceremony so I felt very connected. Thanks again! -

Our Dream Officiant!
Father James was EVERYTHING I could have possibly asked for in an officiant. From the beginning of the planning process, I was a bit nervous in trying to find the perfect officiant for my wedding, considering my husband and I are of different religions. My husband is Greek Orthodox, and I am Roman Catholic. I did a lot of research on different officiant's in the area, and finally decided to narrow it down to Father James, and I am so glad we did. From the start of the entire planning process, Father James was warm, welcoming, and an overall genuinely amazing individual to work with. On the day of our wedding, he stood by my husband and calmed his nerves. The ceremony was absolutely perfect in every way, to the point where my entire family raved about how amazing Father James was!!! I can go on and on about how Father James made our wedding ceremony everything we could have dreamed of. But he really went above and beyond in every single way! We are so grateful and blessed to have had Father James as our officiant! -
