We loved using Father Charles! From our first phone call to the big day and everything in between Father Charles and his AMAZING wife Mallory were extremely helpful. They took the time to really get to know us and our vision for the big day. During Pre-Cana Father Charles takes the time to not only listen but give personal experiences and his wisdom. We especially appreciated how helpful Mallory was getting things done. Our wedding coordinator for the venue was not helpful at all. Mallory recognized that and saved the day. It was so nice to be able to incorporate god and Catholicism in our wedding without the church and the way we wanted things. I cannot thank them both enough for all they did to make our wedding ceremony perfect. I highly recommend Father Charles it will be nothing but perfection. -

Excellence and Care
Father Charles and his wife Mallory made sure that our wedding was customized to our beliefs and wants. They helped us develop a ceremony that was religious and not at the same time. From the first virtual meeting to our wedding, care and attentiveness was at the forefront of everything they did. Father Charles fits in a unique niche between religious figurehead and a generic wedding officiant. With his help and guidance, he made our special day an event that was all exclusive and fun. Thank you Father Charles and Mallory for everything. -

Father Charles was a perfect fit for us. We were looking for a ceremony that reflected our Catholic backgrounds, even if we don’t necessarily practice as much as we used to. Father Charles and his wife Mallory were very accommodating towards crafting a ceremony to meet our desires. He also hosts a few “pre-Cana” sessions which helped for us to communicate some relationship concerns together as a couple. On the day of the ceremony, both Father Charles and Mallory helped a great deal towards easing our nerves, and were able to fit into our reception as though they were old family friends. Highly recommended. -

My wife is Catholic and I am not, so Charlie was the perfect choice for us. Our ceremony was tailored around the Catholic traditions but also had a secular spin. Our Pre-Cana conversations were easy and helpful, Charlie got to know us and we reaffirmed what we love in each other. Charlie's wife Mallory was a huge help as well. From our first contact via email to walking back up the aisle as husband and wife we are so happy Father Charlie was our officiant. -

The Priest we needed!
Both my (now) husband and I are Catholic, but wanted to get married at the venue instead of trucking everyone from our Church 45 min away to the wedding reception site. We found Fr. C. here and he was everything we could have wanted and more. He helped us with pre cana classes as well as making our ceremony religious while also incorporating US into it. Using him was a great decision. -

Julianna Sent on 08/03/2018Fr. Charlie and Mallory were one of our greatest blessings when looking for an officiant for our wedding. I am Catholic and my husband is Jewish, it was very important for us to incorporate both religions into a ceremony that was meaningful for both sides and families. Fr. Charlie and Mallory welcomed us with open arms, they opened up their home to learn more about us and to help us prepare for matrimony. In the end, we created a beautiful ceremony with their help and we incorporated all important elements. Fr. Charlie and Mallory are extremely knowledgeable about both the Catholic and Jewish faiths and helped us think of things we hadn’t before. Their flexibility, generosity and genuine interest in helping us prepare for marriage and our future life together was very meaningful to us and appreciated greatly. Thank you, Fr. Charles and Mallory for everything!

Anna Sent on 06/26/2018My husband and I were lucky to find Father Charles! We are both Catholic, but we had our ceremony at the same site as our venue. Father Charles allowed for us to have someone marry us with the same belief system, but while being able to marry us outside of the church. We talked with Father Charles on the phone and met him at his house to just talk and get to know each other. We then had mini pre cana sessions, which was great to have his view as a priest but also as someone with years of marriage for experience. Father Charles' wife Mallory was amazing and helped us with our ceremony - which we were able to craft to make it fit us.

If you want someone to marry you, that truly connects with you as a couple and puts 110% into everything this is who you need! The counseling sessions were poingnant and helpful. They tailored the ceremony to exactly what we wanted and helped pull everyone together! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! -

Throughout the process (leading up to the wedding all the way through the reception), everything was great. You can tell that Father Charles and Mallory care deeply about marriage and want to ensure that both people are fully invested and prepared for the next step. They were also incredibly helpful with coming up with a full wedding schedule - something that made a big difference in the stressful wedding planning process. We had our wedding onsite at our reception venue, but the way the ceremony was planned, there was still a great deal of tradition that I wanted in my wedding. I would recommend Father Charles to anyone who is looking for a non-Church wedding with a solid spiritual foundation. -

We are so happy Father Charles officiated our wedding! My husband and I were getting married in an Episcopal church, and were looking for someone who could perform a ceremony that represented both of our faiths. I was raised Catholic and my husband is Episcopal, so we wanted to find something in the middle that was true to us, but also pleased our families. Father Charles's background and approach was exactly what we were looking for! After our first phone call, I knew he understood our vision for the day. We were able to work with him and his wife Mallory on a ceremony that was religious, but also did not feel too rigid or alienate any of our guests. The Pre-Canah process was easy and a really important exercise for us as a couple. We did the Pre-Canah meetings at Father Charles' home, which made us feel more comfortable and helped us get to know him better. When it came time to finalize the ceremony, Mallory was a huge help and open to any suggestions or ideas we had. We wanted to incorporate our siblings into the ceremony and they helped us find a way to do that. On the day of the wedding, they were a calming presence and delivered a great ceremony that was the highlight of our day. We feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with the Schmitts and to learned from such a wonderful couple!
