Fat Bob's was an easy choice for our reception! The food is incredible (& affordable!) & everyone is so kind & professional. They worked with us to make sure the food was everything we wanted, & we created the PERFECT signature cocktail & mocktail. -

We had the best experience with Fat Bobs! The prices were extremely reasonable and the food was DELICOUS. They got 150 people through the buffet line in under 40 minutes, so we had PLENTY of time to enjoy our night and relax! The service was impeccable! -

We did fat bobs buffet and bar for our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. MJ was awesome to work with and responded so quickly. On the wedding day she made sure my husband and I got our plates first and even made sure we had drinks always in our hand. All of our guests were raving about the food and asking about it days later. Fat bobs was the best decision we ever made!!! -

Hired for our wedding back in September at the botanical gardens and they did not disappoint from the food to the drinks to the staff , everyone was amazing and I can’t thank them enough . MJ is truly amazing and I would hire them 100 times over if I could . -

Fat Bobs was such a pleasure to communicate with! Bridget was amazing, She was so accommodating and caring through the entire process. Our guests were raving about how delicious the food was and we were so happy with how everything looked and tasted. I’m only sad I didn’t get any left over collard greens because they were amazing!! Everything ran so smooth from start to finish and topped off the most perfect day! Thank you Fat Bobs, you guys rock! -

One of the smartest decisions my wife and I made for our big day was entrusting Fat Bob's to be our caterer. Our entrees included homemade mac and cheese, pulled pork & pulled chicken, creole salad, cornbread, and grilled veggies. Everything was delicious and we got a ton of compliments from our guests. Bridget and her catering team at Fat Bob's were very responsive and professional - they even made a couple last minute changes for two of my guests who were gluten free & vegan. I would highly recommend Fat Bob's to any couple wanting excellent food at a very fair price for their wedding day! -

I don’t know where to start! Fat Bob’s was amazing! They catered our wedding at hayloft in the grove. The food was delicious, everything was just as good as when you go into the restaurant to eat or even better! We had one vegetarian guest and the manager at fat bobs Bridget went out of her way to plate up her food and be sure she had a full delicious dinner as well. The crab cake appetizers were to die for! We heard nothing but wonderful things from our guests about the food and service! We also had fat bobs cater our alcohol and I can’t say enough about how quick the bartenders where. If they noticed a line at the bar other staff would jump in and help until the line died down.
Bridget (the manager) was so understanding, just days before my grandmother unexpectedly passed away and a two other couples that were unexpectedly sick couldn’t come, she was so understanding and reimbursed us for there plates and sent us a sympathy card. Everyone was so kind and wonderful I truly can’t thank them enough for making our dinner/ drinks perfect on our big day! -

Nancy Sent on 08/06/2018Fat Bobs was amazing from start to finish! Bridget was so great to work with! After our first sit down with her at the restaurant we knew everything was going to be perfect! The food was great and the service was even better! Bridget even held my plate and went through the line with me so I wouldn’t spill on my dress! She consistently checked on us throughout dinner to make sure everything was going well! I have to admit I usually don’t eat much at weddings, but I ate a lot! So much in fact that I had to change out of my dress early bc I was so full and it was really tight! Haha oops! Multiple of our guests also told us that it was the best wedding food they have had! We highly recommend booking with Fat Bobs if you want delicious BBQ/ southern style food at your wedding! -

Our guests were so pleased with our selection- the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! It was such a pleasure to work with Bridget and her staff. Everything from the initial meetings to the end of the night was smooth, exciting, and beyond our wildest expectations. We were so happy with our experience with Fat Bob's, we cannot wait to use them again for another event- and we can't stop raving about their service, quality, and affordability to all of our friends and family- thank you Bridget and the staff at Fat Bob's for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives!!! We had Fat Bobs provide both our food and bar services at our wedding. They provided excellent service from the time I first reached out to them to the day of our wedding. They were always very responsive (never exceeding 1 day without response) and were able to answer all of our questions and concerns. Our tasting experience was exceptional as we got full plates of all the items we were considering as well as bar beverages. We went home that day with multiple takeout containers!
A week or so before the wedding they reached out to us to finalize the menu and day of timeline which was very appreciated considering we didn't have to worry about reaching out to them in the midst of finalizing last minute things.
On the day of the wedding they were punctual and without any issues. The group that came worked vigorously in the pouring rain and everything ran very smoothly. They brought enough staff to run the bar, the truck, and every station at the buffet which was nice as I feel as though this made the buffet more formal and less messy than one would expect.
After dinner, they cleaned up their stations in a very timely manner and everything was placed in takeout containers and put off to the side. Our guests loved the food and many of them went up for 2nds or 3rds during dinner.
The bar staff was very nice and appropriately staffed. They even put a separate bottle of sangria off to the side for me to enjoy as it was difficult to sometimes get to the bar in the midst of the usual wedding activities. They also cleaned up everything in a very timely manner after the bar had closed.
I was very happy with my choice in having Fat Bobs cater and provide the bar service for our wedding!
