If we could rate Meaghan and Brendon 10/5 we would! We feel so lucky we found them. From the very start they were so amazing to work with. Their personalities are awesome, they are so communicative, and so well-organized. When the big day came we were a little nervous because my husband hates taking pictures but somehow Brendon and Meaghan made him feel/look like a model. We had so much fun the whole night taking pictures with them. Our friends and family kept commenting that they thought we were already friends with them because of how at ease they made us feel. Our photos are GORGEOUS and the turnaround time was so fast. Our only problem now is deciding which pictures to print, Meaghan and Brendon captured so many perfect moments. Highly recommend hiring these two!!! -

Working with Meaghan and Brendon for our wedding was an absolute dream! From the moment we met them, their warmth, professionalism, and passion for their craft were evident. As a couple, they brought such a unique dynamic to their work, effortlessly capturing every moment from two perspectives.
They made us feel so comfortable throughout the day, and they were always open to providing fun ideas for photos that made them "uniquely ours"... including when they had us stand in the middle of a running creek (worth it!) The final photos blew us away—every image was filled with emotion, detail, and artistry.
We can’t recommend Meaghan and Brendon enough to any couple looking for talented, kind, and dedicated photographers. They were such an important part of making our day unforgettable, and we’ll cherish their work forever. -

Amazing to work with and flexible
Meaghan and Brendon of Far Out Feeling are exceptional photographers and great assets to any wedding planning.
Meaghan is a huge help in creating your timeline and gives great advice on what to prioritize without making you feel any pressure to book more hours than you're looking for. That said, we appreciated their flexibility to add extra time up until the day of the wedding. Also, as a fellow 2024 bride, I asked her a few general wedding questions and appreciated her feedback. It was nice to work with someone who is so approachable and easy to talk to.
It rained all day ahead of our wedding, so we established that our first look and pre-ceremony family/group photos were going to change from outdoor to indoor locations. This led to minor frustrations (the threat of even worse weather, a few last minute cancellations, and over eager friends and family showing up earlier than invited). My husband and I were both starting to lose our cool (and probably a little nervous/overwhelmed) but Meaghan and Brendon did not flinch. They took control of the situation, directing our family members and assuring us that we didn't need to worry about wrangling or communicating with anyone. In retrospect, it was one of the best aspects of their services. I so appreciate their subtle acknowledgment of our stress and their commitment to making the photos and moment beautiful regardless. During our cocktail hour we had planned to mingle but Meaghan and Brendon suggested stealing us away for photos in the venue's bar which was also very special and very relaxing. These are some of our favorite photos and it also shows their great eye for unique shots.
Throughout engagement and wedding photos they made us feel comfortable and relaxed - as much as two people who aren't in love with posing for photos can :) . At the wedding, they captured great candid and group shots with our guests. It was so fun to see everything they captured that we didn't see, especially during dinner and on the dance floor. Shooting on film is also a really nice feature. We highly recommend Far Out Feeling for all photo needs - their service, product, and value is unmatched and they're lovely people. -

We had a terrific experience working with Meaghan and Brendon of “Far Out Feeling.” If you’ve made it this far, you already love their style – their ability to capture both candid and staged photos artfully – and we are happy to report that the photographers have personalities to match. We loved meeting them for drinks months in advance of our wedding, which gave us a nice context for one another when the day finally came (we cannot imagine, now, not knowing our wedding photographers when they arrived to take pictures of us!)
We perhaps didn’t consider how crucial this feeling of comfort was, but when you think about, you do spend a tremendous portion of your wedding day with your photographers. Meaghan and Brendon felt like friends, which made even the parts of the wedding that we don’t like (posing!) feel easy, natural, and fun.
And the photos themselves turned out great! Again, you’ve probably seen evidence of this already. We cannot wait to print them, frame them, and, in all likelihood, post them relentlessly to our Instagram stories. A huge thank you to Meaghan and Brendon, who we recommend whole-heartedly.
And because this website mentions responsiveness -- wow! We always heard back immediately. Even 7 weeks later, they responded to Instagram DMs in minutes. A+++

We cannot speak highly enough of Meaghan and Brendon from Far Out Feeling! From the moment we first spoke on the phone, we knew our wedding journey would be special working with these two. They were with us every step of the way, from our incredibly fun and energetic engagement shoot— which included a karaoke session together—to the unforgettable day of our wedding.
Our engagement shoot was a blast—Meaghan and Brendon brought such an energetic and playful spirit that made us feel completely at ease. It was so fun and memorable that we didn’t want the day to end, which clearly set the tone for the rest of our time together. Meaghan was always checking in and offering support, and we felt their presence and dedication throughout the entire planning process.
On our wedding day, their talent and professionalism shone brightly. They captured the essence of our celebration with grace and artistry, documenting every detail with a blend of candid moments and stunning portraits. Their film pictures are nothing short of magical, and we are continually in awe of how beautifully they captured our love story.

If you have been searching far and wide for your wedding photographer, just stop now and book with Far Out Feeling before someone else does! From our first call, Meaghan and Brendon took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for the day. We even ended up going out to dinner with them in the months leading up to our wedding (and had so much fun) which made them feel like old friends when we saw them again on our wedding day.
While they will of course take in your vision and shot list for the day, I highly recommend letting them use their creative eye. They are both SO talented, and we just trusted them to lead the way to different locations and capturing different moments. Taking pictures and getting the shots on the wedding day didn’t feel stressful or another task, it was FUN and felt so easy and natural. I had several family members say that they hardly noticed the two of them on the wedding day, so they were extremely impressed by the gallery because of how much they captured!
We got just over 850 photos in our gallery and we are blown away by literally every photo. We find new favorites all the time! One thing I keep telling people when they ask how I like the gallery, I of course say I’m obsessed. But the photos capture not only how I remember the day, but how it FELT. Maybe that’s the Far Out Feeling they refer to? ;) -

Meaghan and Brendon are two of the most talented and kindest people we have ever met. We found them online and were drawn to their photography style. They bring so much fun and personality to their work- we instantly felt like they had been our friends for years. These two know what they are doing and they have fun while they do it. We used them for our engagement photos and our wedding day and we could not be happier with the results! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and you can really feel all the love and fun of our wedding day in the photos. I didn't quite realize how many different styles of wedding photographers were out there until we started looking for ours! We knew we wanted cool and candid, and photographers who would make us, two awkward people who are never in front of cameras, feel at ease. ENTER Meaghan and Brendon! We met these two in a video chat and knew right away they were the ones for us. We loved having a Brooklyn couple our age be the ones to capture our day. And when we met for our engagement shoot, I knew we made the right choice! They just right away figured us out, and how to make us feel comfortable, get us laughing and relaxed, and somehow, thanks to their major skills, created pure magic. After that, I couldn't wait for our wedding day, just to see what they could capture! I can't say enough how easy they were to work with, how much we appreciated their hype and excitement, and how easy they made it all feel. We literally will never look cooler than in the pictures they have taken of us! You want magic too? Book these guys, you won't regret it! -

Do yourself a favor and lock in Far Out Feeling as fast as you can! Having Meaghan and Brendon as our photographers was the best gift we could have given ourselves, as they are very creative and have a beautiful sense of detail. They were a dream to hang out with for both our engagement and wedding shoots, and have a great eye for fun spots for photos, including an amazing shot of us on a bridge overlooking our own wedding reception. They work together seamlessly, and it was special to have our own "his & hers" photographers as we were getting ready. They also put us at ease amongst the chaos of wedding day festivities and were great in marshalling our extended family and wedding party into all the photos that needed to be taken. They also are WILDLY TALENTED and captured all of the memories in a way that we know we will treasure for years and years to come. -

Where to begin with Meaghan and Brendon? From the very beginning, they were excited about our creative vision and willing to indulge in some of our kookier ideas, including shooting on a Monday at 9am with fake martinis for our engagement photos, and rounding up our entire bridal party to get photos on the Staten Island Ferry en route to our ceremony. They are fun to be around and put us and all our guests at ease. My mother-in-law still talks about what a doll Meaghan is four months later which is worth 5 stars on the spot.
Not only do they bring the creativity and personality, but they are operations-forward and incredibly organized. Every bride ends up chasing one or two vendors for responses but NOT Meaghan and Brendon. They were early to reach out, thoroughly detailed and very prompt with answering questions.
Pure perfection, a true left-brain right-brain team. Did I mention the photos are stunning? -

Amazing! We highly recommend them!
Meaghan and Brendon were amazing! Right after we booked them, they reached out to grab drinks and get to know each other better. It was a great idea. They had a questionnaire that laid out everything that we were looking for. On the wedding day, Brendon fit in great with all the guys. Same for Meaghan with the girls. Everyone was a huge fan of them. We had over 850 pictures. They didn't miss a moment! I HIGHLY recommend them! They are so fun and do a great job!

Hands-down best photographers and human beings
Meaghan and Brendon were absolutely incredible! Stop scrolling and hire them now. They are so talented, kind, and creative. They captured every facet of the day - all the feels, all the people, all the places - with total artistry. They scouted our wedding location in advance so that the day of, they knew all the places to get the most exquisite shots. And when it started to storm, they captured some of the most magical images we've ever seen. Importantly, much of the day is spent with your photographers and these are the kind of people you want to spend that time with! They bring the energy you need - whether that's relaxation, laughter, energy, practicality, or dreaminess. And they turn around the photos so fast! We put a lot of effort into finding our photographers and can say with full confidence that Meaghan and Brendon are truly the best people and the best at what they do. -

Hiring Far Out Feeling was by far the best decision we made in ALL of our wedding planning. The moment we met Meaghan and Brendon we knew we would have so much fun working together and wanted them to capture our special day. They were extremely encouraging, communicative, accessible and prompt throughout the entire planning process, and wedding day, which really helped put us at ease. The wedding day couldn't have gone smoother and we had so much time to take all the photos (and more!) that we could dream of. What really locked us in was their artistic expression that brings life to all of their photography. In an industry full of capitalism, calligraphy, and corny-ness, Meaghan and Brendon bring their (seemingly effortless) COOLNESS to every step of the process. They were down to clown (planning out the best photography walk through Brooklyn before our wedding), kept calm when our family members were being extra, and somehow made us look like attractive, likable, and successful people via their *fire emoji* photography skills. We're such big Far Out Feeling fans that when we see them posting photos from other couples' weddings, we're immediately so jealous that they get to spend time with Meag and Brendon without us. No exaggeration.
We were lucky enough to meet Far Out Feeling at a vendor open house at a venue we were considering for our wedding. We had no idea what, where, or when our wedding was gonna be yet, but I started following FoF on Instagram. By the time we had a venue and a wedding planner, I had been stalking them for a couple months and after searching for other photographers for their style, realized we should just talk to them. From that first official discussion over zoom, we knew that we wouldn’t want to work with anyone else for our wedding. Meaghan and Brendon were extremely prepared, professional, but more importantly they were so easy to talk to and we were all getting excited about different ideas for the wedding before the call was over. We decided to not only book them for our wedding, but also do an engagement shoot with them, which we booked for just a few weeks later. We knew from their website and social how good they were, but they made us feel completely at ease, they loved our ideas for where to shoot and what kind of activities. We were worried about having pictures that felt stiff or too doe-eyed for us and FoF made us look like we were having a ton of fun — which was the truth of the day. And that’s what they’re best at: capturing the true energy of the day, nailing the mood at any given moment, and making it look easy and fun the whole way.
Fast forward to our wedding day and we felt like we were hanging with our best friends after a year of knowing each other. They delivered us a small but mighty sampling of photos literally when we woke up the morning after our wedding. And then just a few short weeks later we had our whole gallery and it blew us away. More people than I can count told us they were the best wedding photos they’d ever seen and we couldn’t agree more. I’m pretty sure I stared at them for 5 days straight (and I’m still stealing glances nearly every day). Meaghan and Brendon each have their own styles, which gives the photos a fun and awesome range, but they are so complementary that the whole set feels extremely cohesive (and so so so beautiful). Having them capture our day and spend it with us is at the tippity top of decisions we made for our wedding. We’re so grateful to have hundreds of pictures we’re extremely proud of that truly reflect a day we’re extremely proud of to have for the rest of our lives. And two new friends on top of that! HIRE THESE INSANELY TALENTED AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE! -

Most fun photographers!!
We were so happy that we chose Far Out Feeling for our wedding in June 2022. We found them through a friend's instragram who had posted her wedding pictures and they looked so fun, relaxed and a little edgy/artsy. Meaghan and Brendan met us before the wedding to get to know us better, which helped us feel more relaxed on the day of the wedding. Day of they were extremely outgoing, high energy, and made us have so much fun taking pictures. They made us laugh and enjoy the process, making our pictures look so much more light hearted and romantic, and not staged. They sent us a few pictures before we even checked out of the hotel the next day! We received the rest of the photos about 3 weeks later, and they are gorgeous and a little non-traditional - exactly what we wanted. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone getting married in the NY area/Northeast. -

Meaghan and Brendon (Far Out Feelings Photography) were truly amazing from the moment we started working with them, to their arrival at our wedding in Provincetown, to the final minutes of their departure.....and then quickly following up with remarkable photos of our entire day. They spent a great deal of time pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding. Together they made our most special day even more special. We highly recommend this duo if you enjoy real live photos, as well as set photos of groups. They went beyond what was required and they will forever be appreciated by us and our guests! -

Incredible beyond words!!
Meg and Brendon are absolutely amazing!! 100/10 for sure! My husband and I hired them for our vow renewal/ wedding reception after we had to reschedule our original date. We had our renewal on 10/31/21. Meaghan and Brendon are easy going, welcoming, and extremely professional. They were always available to contact and had our timeline spot on and running smoothly the day of. As individuals my husband and I both really don’t like to take a lot of pictures and as a couple we aren’t super affectionate around others (and keep in mind we had about 150 people wedding). With Meaghan and Brendon, they made us feel so comfortable like we were with our closest friends. They made us feel relaxed and made the photography experience very enjoyable. They felt like they were part of our family as our party continued and they really go above and beyond. Not only did we feel great with them during the day but the turnaround time for our photos was super quick and there isn’t one that isn’t absolutely incredible! Meg sent us about 10 photos the next day and the rest came soon after! We’ve gotten so many complements on how amazing they are! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! -

Engaged, Creative, Thoughtful, and Talented!
Meaghan and Brendon are the best! From the start, they were so welcoming and kind. We loved that we were able to zoom to meet and then go out together before the Wedding. Because they built a relationship with us, we felt very comfortable with them on the big day. They sent a sweet welcome gift which was so sweet and kind. After all of that, they were so communicative with my millions of questions. On the big day, they were both engaged, thoughtful, and creative. I loved that they were both taking amazing shots and celebrating with us. My favorite surprise was the 10 photos the next morning! Once we got the full library, we were in awe. We loved all of the different photos/lights/colors/etc. Everyone messaged me on instagram saying how cool and unique our photos were. So again, THANK YOU, FAR OUT FEELING! Can you tell we are obsessed with the both of you and your work? lol -

Meaghan and Brendan were so responsive and creative, they were so amazing to work with. They shot our small, intimate wedding in June, working to make sure we and our families were comfortable and were able to tailor the day to our specific needs. They were such a special part of our day and all of our guests loved them! We got our edits super quickly for both our engagement and wedding, and they even made desire we were using the correct resolution for the best quality on our invites and thank you cards. They truly were the best and made us feel so at ease on our special day. -

We are so grateful that we stumbled upon Meaghan and Brendon during our vendor search. From our first virtual meeting to the wedding day, we feel like we gained two new friends! After we decided to choose them for our big day, they sent us the most thoughtful box of goodies (even including sand and shells from the beach we got married on!). They sent us business cards for other vendors in the area and such a nice note. After that, they reached out periodically to check in, and helped us with a perfect timeline for our wedding day. Fast forward to our wedding day, they made us feel SO comfortable and were insanely creative/artistic. We had a small wedding, where every guest noticed how great they were! We were in awe over our photos (which we also received very quickly) and will cherish them forever. I would choose them again in a heartbeat! -

The best ever!!!
Meaghan is absolutely the most creative, easy going, and talented photographer I have worked with. We were able to collaborate ideas and the final result was way beyond what I expected. 2020 was supposed to be my year, just like many other people. My wedding plans changed a million times but my one constant was Meaghan. She was so flexible with all of the changes and effortlessly put together my stunning wedding album! Meag and Brendon did such a great job of making my fiance and I feel comfortable during our engagement shoot in Brooklyn!! We wanted someone to capture us in an authentic way, and that's exactly what they did. Everyone who has seen our photos remarks on how happy we look, and how natural we seem, and that's all thanks to Meag and Brendon. We were able to get some awesome photos of us in some really interesting locations, and the photos were edited and delivered to us in a timely and professional manner.
