  Comfortable and easy

  Fancy wedding center is amazing place to rent or buy your dress. The ladies that work there are so kind professional and very helpful. They really care about making their clients happy. They made me very happy with my dress they helped me pick. I got lot of compliments on my dress.

  Diane and Margaret were super helpful from day one. I had called to set an appointment to check out some dresses with my mom and brother shortly after my engagement and were warmly welcomed. I was able to thumb through some catalogues and pick out four dresses to try on. My last dress ended up being the one but given that it was only my first shopping trip, we did not order the dress.
  
  Fast forward a few months, I came back and ordered the same dress. But not without trying on a few others before finally committing to the dress. They honored the price they originally quoted for me. When the dress arrived, they left me a voicemail to come by and get fitted. It only took one fitting to get the tailoring spot on! The dress felt like it was custom made for me. And although I was hesitant to rent the slip that I had to lug around just to flare out my mermaid silhouette, I was glad that Diane and Margaret encouraged me. It made the world of a difference to walk around in my dress. They even packed it into a tiny bag to save space since I had mentioned that I would be stuffing the dress into my carry on luggage for my destination elopement. I rave about this place to ask my friends and definitely recommend them for brides who have easy access to this part of Brooklyn... I mean the D train isn't the most convenient.

  First off thank you so much Diane and Margaret! During my wedding planning it was super stressful and decided to rent a gown last minute, but still had about 5 months in advanced. Unfortunately, for me the gown styles I would like were rented out already and I took a chance and ordered my bridal gown and bridesmaids’ gown from the catalogues. And what a coincidence that they had the same bridesmaid gown I initially wanted at their store, so all three bridesmaid had it custom made and it fit and looked beautiful on them. I originally wanted to purchase a gown but it will cost about $3000-$4000 at Kleinfield’s but I really had to stick to a small budget and Fancy Wedding Center was the perfect place. I have been to other bridal shops and the staff seem to be ‘too busy to help’ and not welcoming like Diane was.
  
  It’s a small shop located on 1888 Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn so it was very convenient for my bridesmaids, flower girl and me to have our fittings and pick up done. It’s very clean and organized and both Diane and Margaret are one of the nicest ladies who are helpful and patient with their customers and Margaret tailored our gowns beautifully. I waited few months and was nervous that I would not like my gown once it arrives, but I loved it when I tried it on. And I loved it even more after it was tailored and it was beautiful and comfortable and fit just right that I ended up purchasing the gown instead of renting it. The price for renting or purchase is great for budget brides and I even purchased my corset there.

  Please know I am writing a review for the Fancy Wedding Center located at 1888 Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn. There is another Fancy Wedding in Brooklyn. Again, my review if for the one at 1888 Stillwell Avenue.
  
  My wedding was budget, but you would never know it from my gown. I get that some people may not go for this, but it was GREAT for me. I wore a beautiful Mori Lee gown that was valued at $2K. From Fancy Wedding Center, I rented it for $300. They also SELL gowns if you prefer. Just give them a try.
  
  The women who own and run the shop were amazing. They were friendly and appeared to be as excited as I was about my choice. They have many beautiful styles to choose from and they make sure all attention is on you. They give suggestions based on your body style and complexion. They even give hair and makeup tips. Once you select your desired gown, they help you pick out hairpieces, veils and if you like, jewelry. They even do alterations for you a few weeks before the wedding. You have to leave a $400 deposit in case you do not return the gown or you permanently damage it, but they give it right back to you when you return the dress undamaged. The customer service is outstanding. Forgot to mention they also have gowns for any special occasion, which will include bridesmaids dresses too. I will recommend this shop to everyone I encounter. So worth it.

  I rented a dress for my wedding. The venue allows for potential customers to try on four (4) dresses (AND NO Pictures) in a 45 minute window. You can only bring a small number of people with you as the shop is small. If you do not find your dress within the initial four (4) dressed, you must pay a $25.00 fee per dress to try on any additional dresses. However, within the first four (4) dresses. I found my dress and everyone LOVED it. Now just be advised, there is a fee to rent the dress and a refundable deposit to have the dress in your possession. This is an ALL CASH establishment.
