  Five star catering at a fair price

  Family Catering Service did a great job for our wedding. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was and many even said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Family Catering has a ton of different options to choose from and their prices were extremely fair. They were very accommodating of all of our needs and easy to work with too. I would highly recommend them for all of your catering needs!

  Amazing Food & Service!

  We used Family Catering Service for our wedding and it was a HUGE hit! Icilda and her family team are so quick to respond and were able to accommodate all of our needs, with cocktail hour food, stations for dinner, and bartenders. They absolutely exceeded our expectations! Our guests still talk about the food at our wedding almost a year later! I highly recommend them for anyone in the Charlotte / Lake Norman area.

  Absolutely the best vendor of our wedding day! Icilda and Amber with Family Catering left no detail unnoticed and truly made our wedding day so unique for us from the menu to cocktail hour and the details at the bar. I would recommend them a million times over for anyone in the Lake Norman/Charlotte, NC area. The food was the best of any wedding we've ever been to, and they truly customize the menu with what seemed like unlimited options. The staff the day of was so attentive to us and everyone there, we wish we could give them 10 stars!

  Family Catering Service Inc was wonderful to work with! They were flexible in changing our venue and receptive to our changing needs. The food was delicious, on time, and presented beautifully. Many of our guests raved about the food! I would highly recommend them! Prices are very reasonable!

Planning the event with Icilda was so simple; she is knowledgable and extremely responsive to emails and phone calls which made the planning process so easy! On the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch! The food at my daughter's wedding was delicious and beautiful!

  WOW! That's honestly my first thought when it comes to my experience with Family Catering Service.   I couldn't have asked for a better catering service. My server name was Mandy and she beyond an awesome job. The food was delicious, the guests loved her spirits, and her service was tremendous. I am well pleased and will definitely be spreading the word to all my friends. Thanks again for an awesome turnout.

  Everyone loved our food, including us. Service prior and during the event was professional and delicious. I wish we could have gone up for as many plates as our guests did! We had stations and we had people going up for fourths! The tasting was a full setting with many choices. HIGHLY recommend them! Great food and great staff!!

  Icilda, her family and team just catered my daughters wedding. The food was what everyone raved about. EVERYTHING was delicious. They set up, served, cleaned up and it was so professional. The manager was so great and I would highly recommend them to anyone! My husband's favorite was the carrot cake and everything tasted amazing!

  Family Catering provided us with a fantastic meal for our wedding! The flank steak and chicken bella were delicious and above and beyond standard "wedding food." Numerous guests have already commented on how good the food was! In addition to having delicious food, Icilda and her staff were so professional and easy to work with. They even boxed up our leftover food for us to take home. I am so glad we chose Family Catering Services to feed our family and friends on our special day.

  Icilda and her team were great to work with from day one. She was easy to communicate with (very responsive), respectful of my budget, and the food absolutely exceeded my expectations. I always try to prepare myself when food has been prepared for large groups for it to maybe be a little cold, flavorless, taste pre-made, and not be very pretty. Family Catering was the total opposite. Food was hot from the first person through the line to the last (I asked), everything tasted amazing (garlic mashed potatoes to die for), you could tell everything was made from scratch, and the presentation looked just as good as if they’d been serving 10, not 110. We will definitely refer to and use Family Catering for all our future catering needs.

  We found out about this caterer from a friend who had recently went to a wedding and said the food was excellent. I had her track down the name of the caterer! These guys are so good they do NO ADVERTISING, and they haven't advertised for 13 years, they go purely by word of mouth because they know their food is that good! We went for a tasting at their home/business and were definitely impressed! They didn't dissapoint on the day of either. The flank steak and chicken bella are out of this world! She even made a special meal for my mom separately who has severe food restrictions. Can't say enough good things about these guys! Oh and the price- more than reasonable!!!

  First off, the food is AMAZING! Simply based on that I would recommend this caterer. Our guests loved the food! Cocktail hour and dinner! Good food was our #1 priority and I can't say enough about the food!
  Secondly, the customer service was PHENOMENAL! Icilda was the first person we talked to about the wedding and she has so much insight, that we probably would have struggled a bit more if it wasn't for her. We gave her a budget and we never got over that amount! We did a buffet and faux china to stay within the budget based on her suggestions and I couldn't have been happier. No one even noticed the plates and no one complained about it being a buffet. She is always ready to help and give advice and she is always super flexible with requests! My only suggestion is if you use them for bar tending, make sure you go over duties and hours. We had a slight mix up, but I'm not placing blame on anyone, I think it just slipped through the cracks on information.
  Use this caterer, it will make your life so much easier!!
