Winning a $25k wedding at Fairview Farm Events has truly been one of the biggest blessings for Nicholas and me. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and we were starting to feel the weight of the financial stress. When we found out we had won, it felt like a miracle. We are so grateful to have our wedding fully covered, and it has brought us so much joy and peace knowing we can now focus on celebrating our love and preparing for our future together.

Choosing Fairview Farm Events for my daughter's wedding was the best decision we ever made. The entire weekend was an absolute dream come true for her, and it's all thanks to the impeccable service and stunning setting. From the moment we arrived for our weekend stay, the grounds and lodging felt like a magical escape. The accommodations were not only meticulous but also beautifully decorated for the season, adding a warm, welcoming touch that our family adored.
The flow of the event was seamless, utilizing the incredible variety of spaces. Our rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour in the pavilion were fun and festive, setting a perfect tone for the weekend. Guests were then completely swept away by the main barn, which served as a stunning and romantic backdrop for the ceremony. The transition into the elegant dining room was breathtaking, leaving our guests speechless with its rustic charm and romantic ambiance.
Every detail designed to enhance the evening—from the cozy fireplace and firepits to the enchanting Edison lights and yard games—elevated the celebration even further. What truly set Fairview Farm apart, however, was the team. From our very first visit, through the planning phases, and during the wedding weekend, the entire staff made us feel like my daughter's wedding was the most beautiful and important event they had ever hosted. They handled every detail with such grace and professionalism that we were able to relax and soak in every precious moment. This level of care and personal attention was beyond compare. Debbie and Blanton are the most down to earth and caring people. They made us feel like family from the moment we toured the venue. We feel incredibly lucky to have chosen Fairview Farm Events as our wedding venue. From the moment we first visited, we were struck by how stunning the property is—rolling hills, water views, and an elegant, rustic charm that feels both timeless and welcoming. Every detail of the space feels intentionally designed for meaningful celebration.
One of the biggest game changers for us was the on-site accommodations. Having beautifully maintained cottages available for our families and wedding party makes the entire weekend feel like a full experience rather than just a one-day event. It offered us the rare opportunity to slow down, connect, and really be present with the people we love most.
Another standout is the curated list of vendors Fairview provides. Every recommendation we explored felt like a trusted professional—affordable, excellent at what they do, and familiar with the venue and its flow. That level of comfort and experience has made the planning process feel so much more manageable and enjoyable.

My daughter and now son-in-law, Natalie and Cory Matheny, were married on December 29, 2024 at Fairview Farm and it was amazing! The entire experience was just what Natalie dreamed of and the venue was magical. The farm was fully decorated for Christmas making the holiday themed wedding exactly what Natalie and Cory wanted. Our guests were in awe of what a perfect space Fairview Farm was for a wedding. So many people reach out to me to tell me what an wonderful venue and event it was and that was echoed by all of us in the wedding. Everyone at Fairview Farm Events and their vendors were a pleasure to work with and I can't say enough about how beautiful and well kept the property was. The wedding party stayed on property for the weekend making the experience more like a destination wedding, creating a lifetime of special memories!
Weddings can be a stressful time, but the staff at Fairview minimized any stress we had. And, all the planning, decision making, and coordinating was all worth while to see the smile on the bride and groom's faces throughout the entire weekend. I love the history of the property and what they’ve done with it. Everyone enjoyed being able to hang out Friday night after rehearsal and spend the night. It was a venue where every detail has been thought of. I love the decor shed! I didn’t have to do a bunch of DIY decorating. It’s a fabulous place! -

Fairview Farm Events was the perfect venue for my son’s wedding! The entire property is beautiful, offering numerous spots for stunning photos and multiple options for ceremony sites. We had the wedding outside under an oak tree, which was absolutely lovely. The venue also provided two distinct areas for our event—the pavilion for the cocktail hour and the barn for the reception—creating a wonderful flow for our guests. The barn was air-conditioned, which was a huge bonus given the hot weather that day.
Accessibility was key for us, and the venue being ADA-compliant ensured that the bride's mother could attend comfortably in her wheelchair. The venue also offers a wide variety of decorations, which helped us cut down on floral costs while still having everything beautifully arranged to our tastes, thanks to the help of their on-site coordinator.
We were worried about rain, but Fairview Farm’s flexible rain plan was a lifesaver. The staff allowed us to wait until the last minute before deciding whether to move the ceremony indoors, giving the weather time to improve. Thankfully, we didn’t need to use the rain plan, but the flexibility and support were so appreciated. The entire staff, from the facility manager to the coordinator and DJ, were fantastic. The facility manager helped with everything from parking to setting up tables and chairs, ensuring everything flowed smoothly. Their vendor list was also incredibly helpful—each vendor was familiar with the venue, making the whole process seamless. The caterers and bartenders worked well with the coordinator to make sure the setup was perfect, and the photographer knew all the best photo spots on the property, giving us beautiful memories to look back on.
Additionally, the venue offers several houses for the wedding party and guests to use, which is such a convenient feature. The groomsmen loved the game room while waiting for the ceremony! Overall, everything about the planning and execution of the wedding went off without a hitch, and I can’t thank Fairview Farm Events enough for their amazing service. For those who don’t love super contemporary venues and appreciate a rural charm, then Fairview Farms is an incredible option. We chose their premium package and changed our wedding to a wonderful weekend event. With our package, we got access to the whole venue from Friday morning to Sunday morning. We also got to use all of their on-site accommodations (btws you can keep about 50 people on-premises) which are all gorgeous and fit in with the wonderful overall landscaping of the place. It is a bit tucked away from a lot of shops and stores, but that added to the feeling of literally being in our own little world. It made the most amazing day of our life feel like a movie.Fairview Farm Events's reply:

Everything is up to impeccable standards, and beautifully decorated. We cannot wait to see it completely decorated for our wedding! We wanted a place where we could have our two families stay on site, so they could get to know each other better, and this will be a perfect spot to do that. The staff and their approved vendors have been easy to work with, quickly responding to any questions that we have. Fairview farm is a beautiful property offering great wedding packages that are all inclusive- with many awesome preferred vendors to use. They are responsive with any questions & very friendly! We just had our wedding in September & the property was decorated sooo nicely for Fall- we had a perfect day with family and friends & Colon- their property manager is incredibly kind and helpful! Their planning team that comes with the package is also amazing and made my day stress free and seamless. The beds in each house are also pretty comfortable for a good nights rest before wedding day. Incredible experience and i look forward to coming back to the farm for future photoshoots.
The only thing I’d change is the check out time. Check out time is 10am the Sunday after and the night of our wedding when it wrapped up- we were stressed about everything clean and in order for the early check out the next day. It would’ve been nicer to ease out Sunday morning and not feel very rushed- but i understand their cleaning team has to come in and prepare for the next event!

From the very first phone call, I knew that Fairview Farm was a special place! We began planning my daughter’s wedding, as most families do, by arranging visits and tours of venues. We had a very specific date in mind and were determined to find the perfect venue to match the special date. During our first call, Debbie made sure that we felt important and heard. We planned our visit for the very next weekend! We were met at the venue by Blanton, who gave us a heart warming tour of the stunning farm, that has been in his family for over one hundred years. We could feel the pride and hear the love in his voice for this very special place. His tour was detailed and thorough. After our tour we met with Debbie who greeted us with excitement and enthusiasm. Although she hosts many events at her farm, we felt like ours was the most important to her. She walked us through all aspects of the packages, accommodations, and vendors while answering all of our questions along the way. By the end of our visit, we knew we had found our venue! The look in my daughter’s eyes said it all! We were so pleased to have found a beautiful venue that will be able to accommodate our families and be the backdrop for our special day!

Almost all the vendors had a military discount which was very helpful and had a discount for booking for Fairview. Best Wedding Venue in VA!
Nick and I had the best day of our lives on October 14th, 2023. Debbie, Blanton and Colon were the most accommodating hosts for our weekend. It rained on our wedding day, but the team at Fairview made it as amazing as I imagined even with the rain. The ability to have 50 friends and family stay with us on site made the weekend incredible. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Fairview Farms.
Very very friendly and responsive staff that operate the venue. Beautiful area for welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception.
AMAZING homes / barns on the property that can provide comfortable living arrangements for ~ 50 guests.
Fairview also includes a lot of stuff in their packages to make your life easier. They provide a list of preferred vendors with contact information, guides/checklists, and they offer great discounts + extras with their premium package (including the best wedding planner ever).
The farm itself is gorgeous and the reception barn is immaculate. People loved hanging out in the fire pit and game room area at night.

Choosing this venue was the best decision we ever made!!! Not only is Fairview Farm a picturesque place at any time of year…but it is family owned and run by one of these most friendly couples. The facilities manager was incredible and all of the vendors we had had worked with the venue before. Any question we had was answered in a timely manner and they worked with us when something was important to us. Debbie and Blanton are a 10/10 , as is Colon and Maria!
They have a variety of packages and offer you soooooo much within those packages. We didn’t have to look outside of what was offered at Fairview for much.
Furthermore, the living accommodations were so well appointed. It felt like a vacation for the weekend we stayed. Not to mention, 50 people can stay on the property! Which was perfect for our friends and family. It was so nice being in the property for more than 5 hours!
If you go with the premium package, lots of things are included. It made it extremely affordable for us that guests were able to stay on the property and subsidized the cost of the venue.
It was soooo worth it and our wedding was beautiful !!! We will cherish these memories forever.
We loved this venue and will be back !!! :) it is totally worth checking out !!! And only 45 min away from Short Pump area. -

Debbie and Blanton are the sweetest, most enthusiastic, most accommodating people I've worked with on anything, much less something as important as choosing a wedding venue. The place is gorgeous and has a ton to offer, but honestly the best thing about it is those two. They've been doing this for 10 years so have a ton of experience and great relationships with every vendor/service you could need, and it makes the process SO easy. And amazingly they seem as excited for every wedding as though it was their own family, even after 10 years! We knew immediately when we met with them that this was the place for us. Venue-wise, everything is spotless and beautiful and the surrounding landscape is perfection. We were really looking for a place where our family could stay with us for the weekend and were so lucky to find this, everything is gorgeously renovated and comfortable. You couldn't do better than to book with Fairview Farms. -

If you are getting married in the greater Richmond area, you owe it to yourself to visit Fairview Farm. Our wedding experience at Fairview was nothing short of extraordinary. Fairview is nestled in a buccolic setting that remains true to its roots as a family dairy farm while providing modern, impressive accommodations. They have different packages depending on the size of the wedding. We rented the entire property and were able to provide accommodations for more than fifty out-of-town guests. Debbie, Blanton, and their team took care of every detail imaginable to make our wedding weekend a magical one. They also provide a list of preferred vendors who can work seamlessly together. And unexpected weather is certainly not a problem when you're at Fairview. We had 150 guests and our ceremony was originally intended to take place under a tree. When a cloud burst unexpectedly appeared on the radar less than two hours before the ceremony, within twenty minutes the Fairview team had moved and perfectly rearranged the wedding venue to the pavilion overlooking a pasture. Months after the ceremony we still had family and friends raving about how perfect Fairview's setting and facilities were. We cannot thank Debbie and Blanton enough for making our wedding such a memorable one.Fairview Farm Events's reply:

I don't even know where to begin. I have never written a review before but Debbie, Blanton, Colon and Maria at Fairview Farm made such an incredible impact on our lives that there was no way I could not share my experience and hope to help future couples have their dream wedding like we did.
We were very tight on our budget and Debbie was so understanding and respectful of that. We went with the premiere weekend package but the date we had chosen was a weekday. They wanted us to have our dream wedding and created a "Weekday Wedding Weekend Package" for us so that we could still enjoy everything their standard weekend package had to offer but on a weekday. All of our family and friends were out of state, so they wanted us to be able to have them stay on site too. They worked so hard with us to find us the right vendors and give us the wedding we were hoping for. They were always so transparent with us from the start so you always felt you were getting an honest opinion or an honest recommendation.
One of the biggest things, however, was their responsiveness when things did NOT go as planned. We had a wedding date in January but my husband and I both got COVID just 6 days before the wedding and had to postpone it. Fairview responded so quick to this. I messaged the wedding planner for the venue (Chelsea Moring, also an absolute gem) and she immediately reached out to Fairview. By the time I called Fairview myself to give them the news, they had already gone through their calendar and had two potential dates within 2-3 months that they were prepared to move the wedding to. They helped me figure out what to do next in moving the date and they comforted me because it was heartbreaking to be that close to the wedding and to have family already getting into town only to have to put a pause on that excitement.
They treated us like family from the start and took care of us as they would their own family. They made our wedding everything we had hoped it would be. And our families and friends? They could not stop showering the venue with compliments. It really was a dream to have Fairview for our wedding. So yes, I HIGHLY recommend them! -

Where do I begin? I couldn’t imagine not having picked Fairview Farm as our wedding venue for our winter wedding. My now husband and I knew we wanted a December wedding and we wanted a venue that had separate enclosed areas for the ceremony and reception. I was set on a rustic barn style venue and when we found Fairview, it checked all of our boxes and more. Debbie and Blanton were so responsive and attentive to every need and question we had throughout the entire wedding process. We chose Fairview’s premier package which included the venue from Friday - Sunday, set up for the rehearsal dinner Friday night and for the reception on Saturday, three out of the four houses on property (The Farmhouse, The Cottage, and the Hay Barn) + a game room with sleeping arrangements, music/DJ, a wedding planner, a catering allowance and bakery credit, and so much more. It was well worth it!! We added on the 4th sleeping accommodation (The Dairy Barn) which then allowed us to have up to 50 people staying on property for our wedding weekend. Options for sleeping accommodations near the property are slim as it is in a rural area so the on property accommodations were a must for us and made everything so convenient. Fairview’s preferred vendor list was filled with amazing vendors and I am so thankful for who I chose! Having this vendor list to choose from made everything seamless. All the vendors had worked at Fairview many times and had worked together many times so this made coordinating everything a breeze - almost like I wasn’t even planning a wedding! I couldn’t have been more thankful for a better group of people to work with over the year. Fairview’s property manager, Colon Mcartan, is an absolute angel! He was available to show us around property leading up to the wedding, gave us access to the facilities several times throughout the year so we could look at decor and plan, and was all hands on deck for the wedding weekend. Whether it was helping us set up the live Christmas trees we had brought in, helping with set up of any decorations, directing traffic day of - no matter what we asked of him, he was happy to help. Then, he even dressed up as Santa Claus during our reception and surprised my husband and I! We absolutely loved working with him and everyone was so appreciative of his hard work. He is surely the backbone of FF! If you’re looking for an all-inclusive, rustic style venue for your upcoming wedding - look no further. My husband and I knew Fairview was the place to get married before we finished the tour! The venue is owned by a couple who strive to help others have a wonderful wedding. I planned almost the entire thing by myself, and it was so easy because of Fairview! They provide a list of recommended vendors who are ALL awesome and they all have worked with each other and know the venue well, so all I had to worry about during my wedding weekend was to enjoy it! Everyone knew what they needed to do and everyone was so pleasant to work with. We looked at many venues throughout Virginia, but none of them came close to comparing to what we got for our money at Fairview. We have no regrets! If you want to take an already amazing venue, with so many things included in the price, that allows you to still make it your own and enjoy it without worry, this is your place! We loved it and our guests are still raving about how amazing the venue was! -

Our daughter just had the most AMAZING wedding at Fairview Farm Events!! This is a truly special place that feels like home to its guests. We had the entire farm just for our family and friends - whereas some other venues may have multiple weddings going on at the same time on different sites on the property. Not the case here - as the entire farm was ours to use and enjoy and my daughter could pick anywhere she wanted for the ceremony - so nice to have that option. She had a beautiful weather day so rain wasn't a worry - but it was nice to know they had us covered if that was a possibility. From the first interaction with Debbie and Blanton, to planning our event using their fanastic tried-and-true list of vendors, to being able to visit the farm on muliple visits to look at the free props we wanted to use, and to the execution of the most amazing day for my sweet daughter and son-in-law , I can't recommend this venue enough!! Lovely views all around, the get-ready areas are beautiful and comfortable, and the overnight accomodations are fantastic if you decide to use those. Everyone with worked with was so polite and professional. If you are thinking of touring, make sure you do! It is so beautiful inside and out and they have thought of everything to make it an enjoyable and stress free time of celebration for your family and friends. Fairview Farm is truly special!! -

My fiance and I are getting married next October at Fairview Farm. As soon as we toured the venue we fell in love with it. It is the perfect spot for a rustic farm wedding where friends and family can stay on property and don't have to worry about a ride back to a hotel. Debbie and Clayton are the most wonderful, joyous, and hardworking people along with everyone who works for/with them! Once we toured Fairview Farm there was no doubt in our minds we wanted to get married there. When you first go on your tour, everything Debbie tells you is exactly what happens on your day and there are no surprises. We were able to visit the Farm a few times to show our parents, do our final walk through, and my bridal shoot. So when it came to our wedding day it truly felt this was our second home and where we were meant to get married. We rented all the houses on the property and everyone was in awe of the beauty of the property. There are some venues that are just a location that you rent but Debbie and Clayton make this place feel like a home. They go out of their way to make your big day memorable. The amount of decorations they have on site is unbelievable! I could go on for days but to truly experience Fairview Farm you have to visit and we promise you will not regret it! Debbie and Blanton Gordon the owners of the venue were very accommodating and organized through every stage of our wedding. Also, every staff member I met were all very helpful and friendly during our multiple visits to the venue before the big day. This venue also provides a preferred vendor list with great vendors in every category that made our wedding perfect. We rented the cottage and large dairy barns for our wedding party and were blown away by all the space and the decor! We couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else. -

My Fiancé and I are getting married here June 13, 2020 and we are beyond excited for our big day here at Fairview Farm Events. My Fiancé and I have always dreamed of a rustic/ farm and barn wedding and this venue absolutely blew our biggest dreams away. It was the one and only venue we looked at, as it brought me to tears how perfect and well thought out the property was. Debbie and Blanton have truly thought of everything and are so easy to work with. Not only do they take such amazing care of the property but the attention to even the smallest detail is picture-perfect! From the details in every room to the beautiful linins, chandeliers, wood finishing’s and tables and everything in between are beyond perfect!
The venue provides endless spots to get married from the gazebo to the waters its stunning! They also provide a list of preferred vendors which made everything so easy. The vendors are talented and amazing to work with! Another plus, they also have a ton of beautiful props to use, and with the barn and property decorated by holiday/ season it truly adds that special touch!
What defiantly sold us is the passion they have for their property. To both of us it felt they had a genuine love for what they did and enjoyed bringing the personal touches to everyone’s big day! This venue is the total package as we booked a weekend getaway. We are so thankful to have more time with our friends and family within a beautiful and comfortable environment and cannot wait to share our big day with Fairview Farm Evnets!

Fairview Farm Events is the whole package! They have all the accommodations that you could ever want or need! The second we booked the venue we felt like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders, all we had to do was pick the vendors off of the preferred vendors list that Fairview gives you. Which makes everything very easy because the fact that those Vendors are on the preferred Vendors list means that Fairview knows and trusts them. All the vendors are so great that we have chosen, they are like my fiancé and i, they have nothing but good things to say about Fairview. Having our wedding at Fairview Farm Events was the best decision! The barn and outdoors are so beautiful that hardly any extra decorations were even needed to pull everything together. It was very easy getting in touch with Debbie and Blanton every time we had a question. The best part was having all of our friends and family stay on the property to make the day of the wedding go as smoothly and easily as possible! My dad and the groomsmen had a fishing tournament the day of the wedding while the girls got ready in the Farmhouse and everyone had such a great time! Every single detail from the season decorations to the renovated lodging barns to the reception barn completely blew us away during our tour. Fairview Farm. Where do I begin!! They were the dream venue for my husband and i’s Wedding. From the moment I first talked with Debbie, I knew I had to make this work. She was so lovely on the phone, always SO quick to respond to any emails/questions I had, and I could tell she genuinely wanted to make my wedding day special for me. Meant the world to me!
Our wedding day was perfect, and Fairview Farm played a big role in that! It was a BEAUTIFUL property, the barn is unbelievable, and the space was perfect for our wedding. It also worked out great, because even when it rained some on our wedding day, the pavilion on the property worked perfect to conduct the ceremony as a plan B. It was super cute too! Barely needed to add any decorations and it had lovely views of the property!
The vendors that work closely with Fairview were wonderful and I’m so thankful for their help in recommendations! What a lifesaver! Made planning my wedding so much less of a headache than it could’ve been!
I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any engaged couple. As someone who’s dreamed of my wedding day my whole life, I was pretty picky, but as soon as we were introduced to this venue, I knew I didn’t need to look any further. If you like rustic themed weddings, this is the PERFECT venue for you!!!
Lastly, the space my family and bridesmaids got to stay in on the property the night prior to the wedding was AMAZING. It had just about any amenity you could ever ask for. It was perfect for getting ready with all the mirrors and chairs and large bathroom. It’s well kept and provides beautiful views of the property! It was great for playing games and hanging out with my girls the night before and eating breakfast on their spacious porch the next day. It was a dream!! Thank you Fairview Farm for making Christian and i’s big day so perfect. I will never forget it. Y’all made my wedding dreams come true!! If I had to do it over I would pick Fairview again and again. Fairview Farm is the most gorgeous venue! With so manydifferent picture opportunities it is a brides DREAM! All the different aspects of the farm and barn are decorated to perfection. There is also a collection of decorations which you are free to use. Debbie and Gordon are great to work with and help you out with everything. They have a packet with preferred vendors and they are all amazing. The price is very reasonable for what you get and includes money for the different vendors as well. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for that rustic feel. Our night was absolutely magical and I just want to relive it over and over again! -

Crystal Sent on 06/25/2018My husband and I first came across Fairview on Facebook a little over 2 years ago. We decided from the pictures that if we ever got married this would be our venue. Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend 2016, my now husband proposed. The day after we got engaged I reached out to Debbie about booking a tour. After doing the tour we immediately booked for June 2018. I was a little disappointed that she didn’t have any summer openings for 2017, but it was worth the wait! Debbie & Blanton were such a joy to work with and they make the wedding planning process very easy. All their preferred vendors are top notch! The best thing about us waiting two years is that we got to use the newly added accommodations. We rented out all 3 houses, which I highly recommend. This allowed our wedding party and families to stay on the property. The great thing about Fairview is they are constantly adding and improving the property. We loved Fairview Farm and Powhatan so much that we moved there from Northern Virginia. Debbie & Blanton we can’t thank you enough for having the perfect venue for our big day!! -
Linda Sent on 05/23/2018We did have a wonderful time at your lovely farm wedding getaway. It was so nice to be around family, bride, groom and wedding party friends, getting to know these young people who are so special to Carrie and Brad. It's not often that parents can be a part of a multi generational weekend, all centered around a joyous occasion. The venues on site were great and we got lots of compliments from weekend and wedding guests. Blanton & Brett were very accommodating in supplying what was desired or needed. Blanton pulled the red truck right up so folks could see it when they walked to the ceremony on the south side of the barn, and it was near the porch and cocktail hour. The firepit was lit before the ceremony at my request. It became part of the entry scene. Blanton even transfered a pretty wreath that caught my eye, on Manland's exterior, to the tree adjacent to the ceremony. All little touches that set the scene for a lovely ceremony. Of course, the sun broke through right when Carrie and Bill (Dad) came walking onto the patio and down the aisle. Lovely.
Route 64 was a GREAT band! As you can tell, we have many singers, dancers and music lovers in our groups. I wish I had a video of Bill and Carrie singing "Mustang Sally". Or shall I say "Mustang Carrie." I think the band was surprised to see these two morph into hip and talented performers. Bill turned from mild mannered DOB into a Blues Brothers dynamo.
One helpful suggestion: I'd say Saturday Brunch foods could be a separate offering from the caterer who does the rehearsal dinner, dropped off on Friday night and split up for the 3 on site houses. Reheatable quiches/frittatas with fruit, pastries, and/or bagel and salmon trays are easy and nice. On site families would be all set for the busy wedding day prep. Beverages like juices, water, or sparkling water could be included.

Deborah and Gordon were always available to answer any and all questions we had and they were both incredibly accommodating. Not only was the venue itself beautiful, but the decorations, lighting, and setup is included for you. There are so many things I just didn't have to worry about that I know several of my friends have had to in their recent weddings. They have a superb preferred vendors list that they provided to boot- we used vendors from that list for almost everything, and when we branched out it was because of recommendations of vendors on the list who weren't available for our dates. All of whom were top notch and reasonably prices. Because the venue has beautiful onsite accommodations we were able to do the weekend package. Everyone staying onsite loved the accommodations and we could all visit together for the weekend. We had our wedding on the first weekend of December. The weather was a tad chilly - but the large roaring firepit and the outside heaters (that they're able to put wherever you want them) allowed us to keep cozy and still have our cocktail hour outside with the beautiful winter sunset before heading into the barn for the reception.
I can not tell you how many compliments and comments we got about the venue. It was seriously a dream come true and a real wedding stress reducer because I knew that the Blantons had everything under control.
Seriously, if you're on the fence about this venue DON'T BE. Reserve now. There's a reason this place has so many great reviews and rewards and I am so happy that we get to add our names to that list.

From the barn to the guest house to the cottage, everything was perfect. Debbie and Blanton have worked very hard to make sure this can be an all-inclusive venue, while still offering a lot of flexibility to personalize your wedding. Almost all of our guests have told me how perfect the venue was, and how nice the staff were.
Debbie and Blanton couldn't have been more kind hosts, and the list of vendors they recommend are absolutely wonderful. There is so much included in the package at Fairview that was not offered at other locations. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience, and will continue to recommend this venue to all of our friends and family. -

They were extremely patient, encouraging and helpful throughout the process of planning and on our wedding day. When we first toured an booked they were doing several construction projects and we got to see the beginnings of what would become the barn loft apartment, the Blanton cottage and the renovated "mancave". We used all three properties on our wedding day and all of our friends and family went crazy over them. Everything was gorgeous and convenient for our party. Debbie also provided me with a great list of preferred vendors which made planning from NH a breeze! We booked the Route 64 band, IK Catering, XOXO Weddings & Events, and LOL photobooth. All great vendors! Debbie and Blanton did a great job of helping us with all the logistics and also last minute ceremony changes due to rain on our wedding day. We also love their "prop/pinterest" closet that allowed us to borrow chalkboards, table numbers, frames and more. This saved us a ton on things we would likely never use again! Overall, I can't say enough positive things about this venue and the people who run it. We had an awesome experience and are so grateful for everything they did to make this process easy and fun. I would highly recommend them for any bride looking for a "package" that makes planning less of a headache and loves a rustic/chic setting! Go to Fairview!!
