Failure to Launch played at my daughter's wedding in November, 2023. They have a setlist that covers decades from the 60s through today. This band brings a wall of vocals backed by a solid rhythm section, including keys and saxophones. This elevates them above your standard-issue 4 or 5 piece cover band. This band is live, live, live... no backing tracks. The band dressed professionally and brought some lights to bring color to the dance floor. They're a great group of people and were easy to work with and super accommodating. If live music is important to you at your reception, this is who you should hire. They play some public shows, so go out and see them to find out for yourself!! Thanks, FTL!Failure To Launch's reply:

Amazing band for our wedding!
FTM performed at our wedding and they did not disappoint !!! The day was cold and rainy and they managed to hype up the crowd for the full 3 hours. We got SO many compliments on the band throughout the night and everyone kept asking me how I found them !! They were super interactive with the crowd, so easy to work with leading up to the event, and they matched the vibe we were looking for to a T!!!!! If you want an amazing live band for dancing and a good time, FTL is it !!!!!Failure To Launch's reply:

This award winning cover band was amazing. Having a live band was one of the most important parts to my husband. We were able to listen to them playing at a bar in Milwaukee before we hired them. With a 10 piece cover band, you have to be ready to party!! They had a ton of energy and had us dancing the whole night. They have a huge selection of songs, and we were even able to pick one to use as our "first dance." Communication with the keyboardist, Megan, was great. So many people told us after the wedding how much they enjoyed having the live performance over a DJ.Failure To Launch's reply:

"We love it!"
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with FTL! They were flexible and easy to work with, with great communication and clear expectations. Having a live band was one of our top priorities when planning our wedding and FTL did not disappoint! They debuted a new song that night and it was a true banger. Needless to say "We love it!" As many others have said, our guests are still telling us how incredible and unique our band was. We never wanted to leave the dancefloor! My fiancé and I are avid concert goers and love live music. We knew immediately that we wanted a live band for our wedding. From the moment we inquired about pricing and availability from Failure to Launch, their responses were prompt, courteous, professional and very friendly. Their contract is thorough, prices are fair and their song request form is easy to use. Logistics went smoothly and not only that, they were an absolute blast! I've not seen my own mother dance in years and she was dancing! All of our guests absolutely raved about how much fun FTL was. My fiancé (now husband!!!), who will tell you himself is not a dancer, never left the dancefloor. FTL was one of the biggest highlights of our wedding day and I'm so happy we had them perform for us and our guests.Failure To Launch's reply:

FTL provided exactly what we wanted in a wedding-talented musicians who kept people dancing all night. We had a smaller wedding and the dance floor was still always crowded. The fun FTL has is infectious and you can’t help but want to go dance when they are playing! Weeks later we are still hearing how amazing they were from guests. Having a live band provides a different feel to prerecorded music and was surprisingly affordable.
The DJ took care of all music and announcements during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner-all on a new app he learned for our convenience. Every time I thought of something day of his response was “already did that”.
The nature of our venue required us to coordinate with many vendors. Megan was always the fastest to respond. They accommodated rescheduling due to covid kindly and without extra fees. One band member was scheduled to arrive later due to commitments at their full time job and guests had no idea there was anyone missing.
Added bonus-FTL plays public events around Wisconsin and you can go see them prior to booking to confirm your excellent choice, and again after to relive your wedding!Failure To Launch's reply:

If you are looking for the best wedding band (or live band for anything, really) ever, Failure to Launch is it! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long and literally could NOT stop talking about how amazing the band was....and two weeks post-wedding, they are STILL talking about them, asking where they are performing, and making plans to try to catch them at a festival or other event. The band was super easy to work with, an unbelievable value, has great range in music offerings, does incredible mash-ups, and even added a full horn section at our request! But what truly made our entire night is that the band learned our first dance song just for us! When we inquired about them performing it, they indicated it would be tough (it was May I Have This Dance by Francis and the Lights feat. Chance the Rapper), so we were fully expecting the recording, which would have been fine. Right before we stepped out onto the dance floor, the DJ told us the band was going to play it live - and we were blown away! It was absolutely fantastic and made the whole evening that much more special. If you are looking for an exception live band for your reception, you will not be disappointed - we can not recommend Failure to Launch enough!Failure To Launch's reply:
