Robin is a FANTASTIC makeup artist! I don't typically wear makeup, so I was really nervous looking for a makeup artist, but I felt so at ease and comfortable with Robin! Robin was so nice and personable and made me feel so comfortable during my trail and my wedding day! Robin's makeup was all natural and made me feel like I was myself but with a more enhanced beauty (I was also breaking out but looked like I wasn't)! Robin was so kind and great and was able to do makeup on multiple different skin tones. Robin laid out the exactly the timeline of events in the morning which helped me coordinate with my hair team. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I had a trial with robin and found her to be outstanding. What I found is that she turns you into a more beautiful version of yourself. Her eye makeup is outstanding and she matched my foundation perfectly. She also has a personality you will want with you on your wedding day. We felt and looked beautiful!
Robyn was communcative, flexible and accomodating in our preparations for this day. She gently and effectively offered appropriate guidance. On the day, Robyn arrived punctually and was a warm and calming presence making each of us look and feel beautiful for my daughter's wedding. Robin was fantastic. Her makeup was perfect. I was very nervous and worried because it was very hot and I couldn't stop my face from sweating. But she had just the right makeup for me that was waterproof and she did a fantastic job. Very natural. She also did my mother and sister's makeup and they were both realllly happy. We all looked great for the pictures and for the whole day. I wish I could do it all over again!

Robin is fantastic! I contacted Robin after reading her great reviews to set up a trial. The first thing than impressed me was her responsiveness and friendly emails. I immediately knew that Robin would be someone I could depend on! This is important when you have so many people to coordinate. I found that Robin really took the time to talk to me about the look that I wanted and matched the colors to my skin tone and eye color rather than a standard "bridal mask" that I had seen before. I wear makeup on a regular basis, so I wanted something that made me stand out, but not too heavy. It was perfect! Day of, Robin made up my bridesmaids, mothers, aunts and cousins- ages ranging from 20's to 70's. Everyone was thrilled with how they looked and commented how easy it was to work with Robin. Robin is personable, professional, flexible and talented. Don't look any further, call Faces by Robin!

Robin was beyond amazing to work with! She had a sense of ease about her that I would hope every make up artist would have for brides. She not only made the morning fun and stress free, but she was an absolute love to work with! She has such a calming sense about her. Robin was incredibly patient and flexible as we had a large bridal party and family who wanted to get their make up done for the big day! Robin seriously did a fantastic job, everyone looks gorgeous! The makeup was natural and truly just enhanced everyone's natural beauty! I truly hope I get to have Robin do my makeup again in the future for either another wedding, or just life in general!

Robin did my makeup and the makeup for my four bridesmaids and my mom for my wedding a few weeks ago. My makeup looked stunning. It was beautiful but very natural which was something that was important to me as I don’t typically wear much makeup and wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day. The makeup lasted all day and night, even through many happy tears and I received so many compliments from friends and family. My bridesmaids and mom loved their makeup as well. Robin is so kind as well and a great calming person to have helping you on your wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough!

I can't recommend Robin enough! I first worked with her as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, so it was an easy choice when I got engaged. She truly listens to you and brings your vision to life. I wanted a really natural look as I don't typically where a lot of make up, and Robin did an amazing job putting me in camera-ready make up without making me feel like I was over the top. I set up my make up trial for the day of my engagement photos so that was a bonus! Robin is incredible in her work, and she's also just a really great person to work with.

Robin did the makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago for myself and bridesmaids/family members, and it was fantastic! If you want a slightly "enhanced" but still very natural look, Robin is the way to go. Before discovering her, I'd had a terrible (and really expensive) trial with another makeup artist who had been reviewed well. She was WAY too heavy-handed (and I do wear eye makeup regularly)... so I was really apprehensive about how my second trial (with Robin) would go. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I looked awesome! When I arrived home later that day, my fiance was very expressive about how great he thought I looked. She did an even better job on the wedding day. The makeup looked flawless and didn't budge for the 8+ hours I had it on.
On a personal level, I also found Robin to be extremely warm and easy to talk to. On a professional level, she was very responsive and organized -- and somehow managed to please everyone whose makeup she did (which I can only imagine was not an easy task). She's also extremely reasonable in her pricing. (The trial was less than half of what I paid for the first go-round and, if you decide to go with her, then she credits the cost of the trial toward the wedding day fee.)
Overall, if you have the chance to work with Robin, you should definitely take it. She does truly fantastic work (especially for brides who prefer a more natural look). I can't recommend her more highly.

Robin traveled over an hour to perform her magic at my wedding site location! She is AMAZING!!! She was able to work with my sensitive skin and even after a good cry during the ceremony, my make up stayed put! There was no smears or running. My make up was perfect for my photos outside and inside after the ceremony and stayed on all night long! She was extremely nice and reliable! She answered my many questions and immediately responded to my many emails. She was also able to help me find a woman to perform updos for my five bridesmaids. Robin was able to meet with me for a trail make up run before my wedding and she made myself and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable and at ease while she was working. We all looked fabulous thanks to Robin! I HIGHLY recommend her!!! :o)

I live in NYC and I'm a perfectionist. Robin's make up is flawless & she is an absolute expert when it comes to choosing the right color palette for your skin tone. Five-Stair Experience!
I was a little late in hiring a makeup artist and Robin saved the day! Not only is her work flawless, but she is so easy to communicate with, so flexible, and her pricing is unmatched. She really understands how to customize each look to make everyone look their best. I felt so confident on my wedding day after being glammed up by her. I was referred to Robin from a friend who also had Robin do her makeup for her wedding and I can honestly say I was so amazed by how fantastic she was! I don’t usually wear much makeup, so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about someone else doing it for me. After I met Robin for our makeup trial, though, I was completely at ease! I’m SO happy with Robin’s work on my wedding day! We all had so much fun getting ready (me, my maid of honor, my mom, and my husband’s mom). Robin came to our hotel room and was ready to go on schedule. We never felt rushed and everyone looked stunning – we got so many compliments! My makeup looked very natural and I looked like the most beautiful and glamorous version of myself! I actually had a stye on my eyelid from the previous days’ stress and I felt so exhausted from lack of sleep, but no one had the slightest clue! Robin worked some serious magic! Robin was absolutely incredible.
At my makeup trial, it felt like I'd met a kindred spirit. She was warm, inviting, and easy to talk to. As someone who never wears makeup, I can't tell you how reassuring it was to have her explain what she was doing to my face - She really put me at ease, and made sure I knew exactly what I needed to do and when. I left the makeup trial feeling beyond beautiful - I truly felt like a new stunning person. I was beyond sad having to wash my face that night - If I could have kept it on forever, I would have lol. She is beyond talented and was very skilled at giving someone a more "natural" look - meaning I looked like myself, but enhanced.
On my wedding day, she put everyone at ease. She was professional, on time and did an incredible job for my entire wedding party. Everyone loved her! Seriously, my new mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about how wonderful a job she did and how she was so excited to try fake eyelashes because Robin was the first person to make her feel comfortable enough to try them. My bridesmaids loved her too and we all were saying how sad we were to wash our faces before bed! lol It was a magical day and Robin was an essential part of the magic.
The last thing and maybe most importantly, she was reasonably priced.
Words can't describe how grateful I am to have met her and to have her on our team that day.
She really was wonderful. If you're debating on hiring her, don't, you won't be disappointed. I absolutely plan to reach out to her about doing my makeup for the next wedding or event that I go to!

Robin is AMAZING! She did my makeup this fall when I was the maid of honor at my friend's wedding, and I loved her so much I had her do makeup for me at my wedding a month later. She is a lovely person to have around on your wedding day, and she does a fantastic job of really making your best features pop in a soft, natural way. Robin was absolutely amazing! She was so responsive to me even though I was planning my wedding from North Carolina. The trial went great and when it was time for the wedding she was super-flexible to come out to where we were even though we were in a fairly remote place. Everyone looked gorgeous, even people who weren't planning on having their make-up done decided to, and were ecstatic about the outcome. As for me, the bride, my groom said I had never looked more beautiful, just like me but turned up! The pictures turned out gorgeous!

Fantastic, Natural Looking Makeup
Robin was great to work with, she is so friendly and fun, when you sit down in her chair it feels like chatting with an old friend. She did a great job on the makeup for myself, maid of honor, mom and sister in law. My sister in law was added to the schedule later and Robin made that so easy. I had gone to a trial with another makeup artist and it was a very bad experience. When I found Robin, she immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, Robin was communicative and so flexible. At the trial, I explained what I wanted for the day of the wedding look and she talked me through everything from the products to the timeline. I am someone who loves makeup and I learned so much from her! She is experienced and professional but at the same time it was like being with an old friend! You need Robin for your wedding!
As someone who doesn't know much about makeup and doesn't wear much on a daily basis, I was nervous about my wedding makeup making me looking unlike myself. Robin did SUCH an amazing job at my trial and then at my wedding. She really listens to what you want and delivers. I did not feel unlike myself at all, just a glammed up version of myself, which is exactly how it should be on your wedding day! My bridesmaids have had less than ideal experiences with getting their makeup done and they all raved about Robin and the way she made them look and feel. 10/10 recommend using Robin for your wedding day, not only does she make you look and feel beautiful, but she is extremely responsive, kind, fun and professional.

What I really liked about her is that she listened to each member of the wedding party first, talked through her wonderful ideas and then made us all beautiful by giving us what we wanted and taking it to the next level. I loved how I looked in person and in the photographs. My Mother-in-Law had never had make-up done by a professional before and she said she looked ten years younger. I hired Robin to do my makeup as well as makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and my mom at my wedding in July 2017. She did a FANTASTIC JOB on everyone! I felt glamorous but still natural! The makeup looked flawless both in person and in my pictures. I received so many compliments from guests! Perfect for my wedding!
Communication with Robin from the beginning was so easy! My makeup trial was so much fun and I knew I had to book her for my wedding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and also made great suggestions. She did a great job on my wedding day and all my girls loved their makeup as well. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a skilled makeup artist that enhances your natural beauty!

Wedding makeup
Robin was so great to work with- she made everything easy and stress free for my wedding day. I loved my makeup and my entire bridal party looked beautiful! I could not have been happier.

Exceptional experience
It was a pleasure working with Robin for my wedding and bridal party. She communicated early and often, and made the planning process simple. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup on a regular basis, she carefully listened to my preferences and delivered beautifully in the end! She also connected me with a hairstylist which was a bonus.

The Absolute Best!
Robin was the most amazing make up artist to work with for my wedding. She brings such a positive and calming energy to what can sometimes be such a chaotic day. Robin made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day with the exact look I wanted. She was so helpful in making decisions about my look for the day and had great recommendations for other vendors. I can't recommend her enough!

Robin was one of my favorite vendors!
Robin was absolutely amazing! One of my favorite vendor choices. She effortlessly did the makeup of 7 different girls and all of them were so happy with the final result. Her presence is calming and she really does make you feel so beautiful. I'd recommend her to everyone!

Robin was the greatest from start to finish. I am not a huge "makeup girl" to begin with, thus was a bit hesistant to use any makeup artist as I was afraid I'd not look like myself on my big day. Robin totally understood what I wanted and made me feel completely comfortable, beautiful, and feminine on my wedding day. Her kindness and professionalism made the day-of so much fun too. I know I speak for everyone in my wedding party when I say - we all loved Robin's work.

Robin is I N C R E D I B L E
From the moment I met Robin I was blown away. She is calm, sweet, and amazing at her job! She understood exactly what I wanted and truly made me and my bridesmaids look and feel incredible for my wedding. Almost 3 months later and my bridesmaids are still raving about her and her assistant Noelle. Robin uses great products and is VERY clean. I can’t recommend her enough, if you’re between vendors, book Robin, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

October Boston Wedding with Faces by Robin
Robin was absolutely amazing to work with. She was flexible and responsive when trying to schedule my trial, and I was immediately at ease upon meeting her. She is warm, friendly, and a pleasure to spend time with.
Robin is also significantly less expensive than other makeup artists in my area that I researched, but with no sacrifice to quality. I would recommend her wholeheartedly without reservation. She did excellent work and everyone looked and felt absolutely beautiful.
Two things stand out about my experience with Robin:
1) My wedding coincided with an October nor'easter and also happened to be on an island. Robin and her team had no qualms about crossing the stormy seas to get us ready, never once complaining about the boat ride or the weather.
2) My mom originally planned to not have her makeup done, but changed her mind when she saw how great everyone else looked. Robin, despite having just completed 8 faces without a break, cheerfully agreed and fit her into the schedule. Of course, my Mom looked great!
If I could rate her six stars, I would!

So happy with our experience!
Robin helped make our day perfect! She is so nice and pleasant to work with. A few months before my wedding, I met Robin for a makeup trial, so I was able to get to know her and ensure we would be a good fit.
I don't wear a lot of makeup day to day, so my biggest concern with wedding makeup was not feeling myself. Robin respected that concern and gave me the perfect natural look. I felt so beautiful!
I had a 10 woman bridal party, so Robin brought an additional stylist. All my girls had a great expereince. I definitely recommend Robin's services to other brides!

Ritz-Carlton Boston Wedding
Spoke with a number of makeup artists before finding Robin, and am SO lucky I found her! Had trial at her home, she made my mom and I both feel so comfortable. Extremely personable, kind, creates a warm and calming environment throughout the entire process and most importantly on the wedding day. Listened to everything I asked for and made adjustments with ease. Really grateful for Robin and would 100% recommend her to anyone!
