With recommendation from family, who live locally in Asheville, I scheduled an appointment for myself and my Mother for hair appointments. My updo was done by Morgan. She did an incredible job and was so sweet. I decided to see if Sheri had time to do my makeup for the wedding, as well. She worked me in and the result was fabulous! My Mother’s wash, set and style looked wonderful. From the first conversation over the phone, to the final product, we were extremely pleased! I highly recommend this salon. Sheri is a beautiful artist that has talent and knows how to bring a blank canvas to life! I had apprehension about having my hair and makeup done by someone else since I have always gone for more of a “natural” look. Sheri used high end products and color matched my natural skin tones, while giving me a perfect finished look for my special day. Her husband, Ryan also DJ’ed the wedding and provided fun entertainment while using my handpicked playlist. He met with my fiancé and I at the coffee shop and made the process seamlessly. We give them 11 out of 10 stars. I highly recommend this talented duo! -

Wonderful in every way!
I called last minute to get an appointment for my mom. I live out of state and liked the pictures I saw on the website. I explained to Sheri (the owner) that it’s my moms wedding and I wanted to do something to make her feel like a queen. Sheri squeezed my mom into her schedule for her wedding day and the make up artist and hair stylist made my mom more beautiful then words could described. They listened and followed the photo reference my mom had. It meant so much to me that the staff and Sheri helped me to make my moms day memorable. What more could you want from a hair and makeup artist than to become the photo that you show as inspiration? Sheri and her team helped us form a vision and execute it. Sheri was so nice always in constant communication and working with us every step to make sure we stayed in budget. For the wedding day, we weren't sure what we wanted but knew that we wanted a natural look and mostly up-do's. Sheri and her staff are so great! I had my hair and makeup trial done in January 2020 right before my engagement shoot and I was so pleased with Fab Flawless Hair & Makeup Artistry that I decided to book them for my wedding.Sherri was fantastic when I had to get my date moved for our wedding from September 2020 to October 2021 and then again to May 2021. She was very kind and kept me informed of any changes they had going on as well as letting me know about the precautions they were taking due to COVID - 19. My wedding day had a hectic start, as most do, but the moment Sherri and her staff arrived I felt so much more relaxed. She held my hand, she hugged my mom, and both Sherri and the girls made us all look so beautiful. I am so grateful to Sherri and her staff for going above beyond to make my special day spectacular. NC Elopement
I am so happy with booking Fab Flawless for my elopement! Sheri and Anna did such a beautiful job on my makeup and hair and they were so lively and friendly. From the moment they stepped into my air bnb I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. They both listened to exactly what my vision was, which was very important since I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis and still wanted to feel like myself. The airbrush makeup looked amazing and both the makeup and my curls lasted all day, even through a hike after the elopement! Amazing make-up artist and hair stylist!
I traveled from Florida to North Carolina to be married elopement style in the mountains. A recommendation from the officiant I hired led me to Sheri at Fab Flawless. Sheri and her stylist Anna did my make up and hair for my wedding. They listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. My make up was on point and my hair was perfect. Sheri was amazing. She made sure to talk to me prior to our session and get an idea of what I was looking for in the makeup. She asked all of the important questions to make sure i had no reactions as I have rosacea. The quality of the makeup she used made my skin feel great. It didn't feel thick or caked on it was light and airy. Everyone stopped to compliment me on her makeup. This group was absolutely incredible. I eloped to Asheville NC to get married in such a short notice and they were able to accommodate me more than I could have ever asked for. I chose Asheville for my "planned elopement" and Sheri was so amazing not only with her talent for hair and make-up, but she gave me incredible recommendations for catering, after ceremony photography, things to do, what to expect...she helped make my wedding absolutely perfect! Covid really gave me a lot of obstacles, but she saved the day every time! I was a stranger to her, but she made me feel like we had known each other forever and that's so important when you are trying to capture your ideal self for your wedding day. I live in Houston and so she spent hours talking to me, sending me ideas as well as taking mine and when I wanted to tweak our practice session hair and make-up a couple of days before, she took it all in and helped make my wedding day one of the best days of my life. You cannot go wrong with this team!!! Sheri is the sweetest and most down-to-earth person you will ever meet. She has worked with Victoria Secret, Project Runway, and was confirmed for NY Fashion Week! I had my hair and makeup done the other day for a photo shoot and she, Anna, and Alyssa treated me as though I were royalty. No one made me feel uncomfortable and my makeup shocked me. Sheri was fantastic from first contact, all the way through the planning/idea stages, right up until the moment I went down the aisle. Her main concern was that I, and my wedding party, were getting the look I wanted. She was able to achieve it effortlessly, while still maintaining focus on the little details. Her pricing was extremely reasonable/affordable. She made me feel comfortable and at ease through the whole process. My hair and makeup were both gorgeous! I received many many compliments on my hair. I loved it! I'm a pretty simple gal and don't usually do anything to my hair or wear makeup so I wasn't sure exactly to describe what I wanted. I showed them a photo of what I was thinking and they ran with it! It was great. My only critique was that it was a little on the pricey side, but good work isn't cheap! Pros: Sheri is extremely sweet, responds very quickly to any questions/concerns, and clearly cares that her customers have an amazing experience. Even when she wasn't feeling well, she called me right after my hair and makeup trials to make sure that I liked everything, which I greatly appreciated. The makeup and hair artists at the trial and at the actual wedding did a great job for me and most of my wedding crew. They were very friendly, and I got many compliments on my hair/makeup during the wedding.
Cons: When choosing a hair and makeup artist for my wedding, I was careful to make sure that the company knew how to work with all hair textures. My maid of honor is Ethiopian and she wanted to get her hair and makeup done, and I wanted to make sure that we hire someone with previous experience. I was told that the hair artists at Fab Flawless have experience working with all hair textures and I have nothing to worry about. The night before the wedding, Sheri calls me and asks if my maid of honor can straighten her hair beforehand. None of us brought hair straighteners, so we told her that wouldn't be possible. Sheri then said that they weren't sure if they could do her hair, since it would take hours to do. However, from previous experience, when she had her hair done by other professionals it took no longer than 30 minutes to straighten her hair. My maid of honor was very upset that she was told this less than 12 hours in advance, after she already paid for the service. Thankfully, on the wedding day the hair artist agreed to do her hair - however, from the way the artists were hesitantly handling her hair and judging by how long the whole process took, it showed that the employees did not have as much experience in dealing with all hair textures as I have been told. My MOH told me that the experience left her feeling uncomfortable and awkward.
In addition: The hair and makeup artists showed up 40 minutes late, because they were given the wrong venue address. My hair was still being worked on when it was time for my first-look photos with my soon to be husband, which left extremely little time for robe photos with my bridesmaid and I essentially sprinted to get my dress on and met by fiance 30 minutes late. All together, all of this added stress to my wedding morning :(Fab Flawless Hair & Makeup Artistry's reply:
