The perfect wedding day

We were referred to Extravagant DJs by our venue, The Estate At Farrington Lake. They did not disappoint!! Sal and his team were very responsive and made sure that we always got what we needed! With COVID, we had to make some adjustments to our initial plans and they were so accommodating and flexible leading up to the wedding! The day of the wedding, it was as if Sal was not only our DJ, but someone who was looking out for us in every way! Making sure we had what we needed, we were enjoying ourselves, and everything was running smoothly. We also loved our MC Eric! He did an amazing job getting everyone moving and involved throughout the night! The photo booth was also a great hit with the guests! My husband and I had a wide range of genres we wanted playing during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and Sal delivered!! I highly recommend booking with Extravagant DJs for your wedding!

AMAZING- couldn't be happier :)

I used Extravagant DJs for my wedding after seeing them at other events. I was not disappointed! Sal was attentive during the entire process and delivered a high energy night to remember. Excellent DJ. Really reads the room

I used them for my wedding. They were fantastic. Except for during the main course, the dance floor was never empty. They were great in "reading the room". I used them 15 years ago and rehired them because I was so happy with them last time. They did not disappoint. I highly recommend them.

Incredible

I cannot rave enough about Sal & his professional team. Not only did they manage to make it through the pandemic & me pushing my wedding off for an entire year, but they went above and beyond to satisfy my husband and I. Every single thing we asked for we received. Derek, our incredible MC made our wedding even better. So kind & thoughtful & really knows how to have a good time! Every silly question I had, Sal answered. Even the things I didn’t think of he already had planned out for me knowing I’d need it. I can’t say enough about him & his team. You’d be truly BLESSED to have these guys work your special event!

We truly cannot say enough about Sal and his amazing team of people! He really went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was everything we wanted and more. With multiple wedding date changes and things constantly up in the air because of the pandemic, Sal stuck by us and reassured us the whole way. Not to mention the music was absolutely on point, our Mc kept our friends and family engaged and the party flowing right all night… we are beyond happy with our decision to go with the extravagant group and can’t wait to work with them again 💜

Amazing all around!

Sal and his staff made our wedding a night to remember. Our Mc was so funny and kept the night flowing, Sal played all our favorite songs and really knows how to read a crowd he kept our friends and family dancing all night! Our photo booth lounge was gorgeous and our guest had so much fun taking pictures. We are so happy that we went with Extravagant Entertainment Group!

Incredible Wedding

We had an incredible experience with Extravagant DJs! Throughout planning and rescheduling a wedding, Sal and his team were so easy to work with and made planning as stress free as possible. During our wedding, everyone was up dancing! As a bride who loves to dance, my expectations were high. My husband and I danced the entire evening and maybe sat for 5 minutes. We continue to get compliments on our Mc- Derek and the great energy he provides! We also booked and recommend getting a flash photographer. The pictures were amazing and allowed us to relive the fun all of our guests were having! Highly recommend Extravagant DJs!

I have been using Sal for all my events over the last few years. He has always done such a wonderful job. My wedding was out of this world. Unforgettable!!!!

Our wedding was in 2011 and still until this day our guest talk about the music at our wedding! We have hosted multiple events with Extravagant DJs and every time they have gone above and beyond. They do everything in their power to make sure the event runs flawlessly. In point service

Sal and the extravagant team put together an amazing event with beautiful furnishings great music and a very professional service staff. The attention to detail was amazing and I loved the many options given for us to dress up the room with the variety of decor.

Sal is literally the best! Super easygoing and his main goal is to make the customer happy. I booked extravagant for my sons bar mitzvah at met life stadium and him and his team worked above and beyond to make my sons ideal party a reality. He has all of the innovative ideas, and his execution is precise. He also knows how the flow of the party is everything, and makes sure there’s never a lull. You won’t be disappointed!!

EPIC night!!

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by Sal and his whole crew!! I remember we had a call with Sal a few weeks before the wedding to go through everything. We knew the main songs (first dance, entrance, etc) ... but then Sal offered to take the reins from there, and I am so glad he did! My dance floor was packed the entire night which is what I wanted! The guests at my wedding were literally sore the next day from dancing! My husband's family is Colombian, so we asked him to incorporate some Latin music ... and he sure did!! He made the wedding and I can't ever thank him enough!! I also will not fail to mention the video clips and trailer he sent me on our honeymoon! EPIC!!

Best night of my life

Sal And the entire Extravagant staff were nothing short of amazing. From booking to the day of they were the most accommodating and friendly group of people. The day of my wedding was a night to remember- the dance floor was packed. Mike (MC) engaged my guests and they had a blast. It was a night to remember. All my guests are still talking about it. A night to remember!!!!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Sal and his team for the performance they put on at our wedding! From the beginning of the wedding planning process Sal was extremely easy to work with and communicate with throughout. Sal and his team were a recommendation from my sister and photographer who attended a wedding that he DJ’d at. I booked him 3 days after we got engaged and never looked back! He promised an epic wedding and let me tell you he did not disappoint. Our friends and family were on the dance floor ALL.. NIGHT ... LONG. From Mike the MC who did an outstanding job to Sal making the best music selections.. the party never stopped. Every music selection was timed perfectly for our courses, speeches, etc. They helped the night flow perfectly and I couldn’t be happier to have had them a part of our wedding day. It’s over a month later and our guests are still talking about how much fun the night was .. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!!

What an Incredible Entertainment Company!!!!

Can I just say that they ROCKED our wedding. From the decor, to the MC, to the 3 piece band getting involved with our guests to the wedding ceremony. EVERYTHING was PERFECT. Sal and his team truly outdid themselves and I now recommend all family and friends to hire Extravagant Entertainment. The experience creating the day was also flawless. Sal knows exactly what is needed for your special day. We also chose a videography package from them which my family and friends cannot stop raving about. My Big Day

Extravagant Group simply rocked our wedding! Sal and his team outdid themselves and we cant thank them enough for it!! Erik the Mc was amazing, he had the crowd going at all times!! They are truly unique in the field, and they have elevated our wedding to the max! Sal was able to provide us with a lot of add-ons to make our big day that much special. He was there with us every step of the way when it came to planning and mapping out music and all the other details of the entertainment for the night. My wedding was the most amazing day of my life and I have to thank Sal from Extravagant DJs!! From the beginning Sal was amazing, he was not only professional but also made my husband and I feel very comfortable and really enjoy this experience! My fear was that nobody would dance at my wedding, but Sal and Derek delivered an amazing night of dancing, laughs and an absolutely awesome time! He was so receptive to our style of music, had great suggestions, and updated us with every detail. The dance floor was full all night long, everyone was happy! Derek was on the dance floor the entire wedding, full of energy and had amazing dance moves! He engaged our guests and I couldn’t thank Derek and Sal enough for providing an amazing experience! We used Extravagant DJs for not only our DJ experience but also videography and for our photo booth! Sal’s team made us feel comfortable and was very personable. I am so excited to watch the short clip and full video of our wedding! Still to this day all of our guests talk about what an amazing time they had dancing, the awesome props for the photo booth and how the music choices were perfect! I cannot speak more highly of Extravagant Group and of Sal specifically. Before going with them we had some difficulties with another DJ company. Sal came highly recommended, and my fiance and I are so glad that we found him because he is absolutely incredible. Upon first meeting with him, we instantly knew we liked him. He made us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining every step of the process and answering any questions we had. Sal always made himself available if I needed anything, whether through a call or text. He is extremely professional, talented, and experienced. When it came to the actual wedding day, he worked wonders. My guests loved the music, it was a perfect mix of dance songs, old and new. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, with people from every age group enjoying themselves. Our MC Eric was also absolutely incredible!!! Between the two of them the party didn't stop and my guests had so much fun. The Photo Booth that Sal provided was also a huge hit and my guests loved all the props! I can't imagine a better DJ than Sal and his team. Our wedding was seriously a dream come true and Extravagant Group was a MAJOR REASON ! Thank you so much Sal!!!!

OMG are these guys GOOD. Sal and his team are incredible. His knowledge is unparalleled. You walk into the meeting with an idea of how you think you want your party to go and you leave so confident that your party is going to be incredible. Always really easy to get a hold of Sal. He's always just a text or call away. Makes you feel like you're part of the Extravagant DJ's family by the time you're done. My husband is Polish and it was very important to us to find a DJ that could play Polish music and Sal handled this with such ease. He'd done it before! He's so cultured and his music really does vary to anything you could think of. The day of the party was incredible, Sal had people up and dancing all night long. There was never a lull. Hands down the greatest DJ I've seen. Don't hesitate, book this DJ now!

My husband and I planned our wedding for about one year, just 3 weeks before our wedding, the venue breached our contract and we canceled the venue. Just three weeks before our wedding we were able to book at The Estate at Farrington Lake and Sal was able to be our DJ. Sal and his team were amazing! From the ceremony to the very last song,
We couldn't be happier. We honestly are thankful that our wedding venue and date changed, because if it didn't, our wedding wouldn't have been so memorable. To this day friends and family tell us how much fun they had dancing and partying!!!! Thanks to Sal and his team!!!!

I must say that Extravagant Entertainment upheld their promise that they would entertain our guests. Sal Gendus and his MC, Matt blew away our expectations. It has been weeks since our wedding and we are still getting compliments on the music and the pace of the entertainment throughout the night. We truly felt in the spotlight when it was time for our first dance as husband and wife. When meeting with Sal throughout the process, he made us feel like family and allowed us to be apart of the music selection process. He was honest and caring about us and our guests. I loved Extravagant Entertainment's energy, knowledge, and professionalism during our day! Sal was amazing! Our wedding music from our cocktail hour, dinner, special requests, introduction and into the night for dancing was perfection. Communication with Sal was efficient and easy, his responses were quick and he always had great suggestions. We also rented the photo booth which was a big hit!! We were fortunate enough to attend a wedding, in which Sal DJ'ed... from that day, we knew who we wanted to use for our special day. The music was amazing and we had a crowded dance floor all night. Everyone, and I mean everyone at our wedding, ages 3 to 90 were out there dancing! They all raved about our DJ then and they still do now! :)

As our wedding day got closer, Sal met with us and reassured us that everything would work out perfectly together. He is so outgoing, honest, and energetic. He made us feel more relaxed and took the stress out of the last minute worries that most brides and grooms have. There are not enough words to say how AMAZING Sal and his team at Extravagant Entertainment was! We hired him for our wedding down in Long Beach Island, NJ. We have been married for a month now and people are still telling us how unbelievable he was! The dance floor was packed at all times which is exactly what my husband and I wanted. He also played a great variety of amazing music which was perfect for our crowd. Grandma to our cousins were dancing the entire night.
Sal was the first vendor I booked because music is so important and really sets the vibe for the entire reception. I knew, without a doubt, that he would really make our event one to remember.

In term of additions, he also provided our beautiful open air photo booth and LED uplighting around the entire room which really set the scene. He even provided dry ice for our entrance which was a big hit!! If you are on the fence on who to get- I 100% recommend him and everyone from Extravagant Entertainment. In addition, he also had options to add live cocktail music and additional live musicians for the cocktail house and reception.

Regarding his professionalism, Sal always went out of his way to meet with me whenever worked best with my schedule, he gave me such great advice on the timeline and the flow of the party, and he delivered 100% of what he promised during our initial meeting. He treated me like family and always had my best interest in mind.
He truly is an expert in the wedding and event business and really knows how throw great party!
Planning a wedding can be stressful but he took the stress out of the equation and knew exactly how to make me calm and excited. He runs his business extremely well, is very organized, and will do anything in his power to ensure your day is absolutely perfect. I really can't say enough, they did such a phenomenal job!

Had several meetings with DJ before hand - which was great and he really took the time to get to know our music taste. all guests at the wedding were raving how good our music choices were. We don't even know where to start. Our family and friends still can't stop talking about our wedding and how amazing it was. Sal was a huge part of it. He literally brought everyone to the dance floor even those we don't like to dance. The lights were the perfect purple. The music was insanely good! We wish we could re-live our wedding night. We had so much fun. The perfect touch also was the photo booth we rented. We can't wait to receive the photo booth pictures on the CD so we can have them as memories as well. Working in the entertainment industry for my brother in law's company has provided me an opportunity to share many special moments with brides and grooms on their big day. However, when it came to my wife and I's wedding and the fact that family comes first, with my brother in law being in our bridal party we were faced with a unique circumstance in terms of finding the right entertainment. From the very onset and initial meeting with Sal, we knew that Extravagant Entertainment was the perfect fit for us.

Sal is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, accommodating, friendly, easy to work with & accessible, and overall an awesome person whom we are proud to call a friend. Most of all, he's very patient and cooperative considering he refers to me as the best bride/groom he's ever worked with! Sal and his staff worked very hard by going above and beyond to ensure that our day delivered and the fact that weeks later, is still being regarded as the best wedding people have gone to. We had a lot we wanted to accomplish and Sal was more than up to the task. From our custom wedding backdrop that guests could have their photo taken as if they were walking the red carpet, to the massive amount of lighting/uplighting in the reception, the two 70 inch TV screens that showed our custom logo and pictures, a special Mom/Son dance surprise, and of course the variety of music played for all of our family, friends, & guests who didn't want to leave the dancefloor all night long, what more can you ask for? There was absolutely nothing we felt that Sal could not do for us. Sal, Izzy, with his great emcee work the entire night, & the EE team set the tone for what was an incredible experience all around.

We couldn't be any happier than we are for having Sal and his crew part of our adventure. Aside from my family's own entertainment company, my wife and I cannot recommend Sal & Extravagant Entertainment any more. They made our incredible day all that more amazing!!!!

After attending friend’s wedding that was DJ-ed by Sal and his team and having a great time, we decided to have Extravagant Entertainment provide the music (DJ and Saxophone), uplighting, and photo booth at our own wedding. We couldn’t be happier with our decision! The lighting in the space made it look like a completely different room (in the best way!) and the photo booth was a great addition to the day. We love looking at our scrapbook, it was so nice to be able to take it with us right from the reception. Sal’s service was very professional, he answered all of our questions thoroughly and met with us multiple times (upon our own request) in person to make sure we felt comfortable and had all of the information we needed. Sal is extremely passionate about his company and his career and it definitely shows in the end product. We felt so confident in him that we barely even gave any suggestions on what we wanted for the day. He was so patient with my requests, even making changes and collaborating with the venue staff 30 minutes before the reception started when I asked for a change. Sal was so fun to be around and has such a great personality that during the reception we felt like he was just another friend partying with us and providing awesome music! Our MC was Denver, who was the best!! Denver was entertaining but in a very classy and professional way. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how great the music and entertainment was during the reception! We highly recommend Extravagant Entertainment for any event, especially a wedding! My husband and I have been to so many weddings over the years and the music was either horrible or just mediocre and it effected the ENTIRE night & we have never had fun at a wedding where the music was crappy. We did not want the night to end! Extravagant Entertainment did a fabulous job at my wedding this August! Right from the start Sal made us feel comfortable and he was so easy to work with, we could tell that he really cares to make his clients happy! Extravagant entertainment really has a lot of entertainment options to offer to make your day memorable, which we took advantage of. We were so impressed with their offerings, we also decided to get a photo booth as well as their full music, lighting and LED TV package. Sal helped us design our custom gobo with our names in lights, as well as a photo montage that played to music on the LCD TV screens. Extravagant Entertainment also came with their own photographer that captured pictures though out the night and showed them on the LCD screens as well! We were so glad we booked the photo booth because every single guest loved it and said how much fun they had taking pictures! My husband and I were thrilled that we received copies of all the photos that were taken by their photographer and from the photo booth! It was nice see pictures of parts of the night we may have missed! The music Sal played was AWESOME, everyone was dancing all night! My husband and I did not sit down all night; we were on the dance floor with every song! Our friends liked the music so much; they told us that they felt they were in an exclusive club! Sal is very talented at what he does! The lighting package we booked really made the difference in transforming the room and the dance floor into the perfect scene! Matt was our MC and he was on point with everything – he was very professional and not overbearing or annoying like some MCs can be. We had a great time and so did our guests! My husband and I heard of Extravagant entertainment through some friends and scheduled a meeting for our wedding. After meeting with Sal, we knew instantly that we would hire him to provide the entertainment for our big day!! Sal was so enthusiastic about being a part of our wedding. On July 11th we got married, and as all of our guests would say, they never danced so much at a wedding before! The lighting, drapery, DJ setup, gobo and all other add ons that we got exceeded all of our dreams. I HIGHLY recommend Sal G and Extravagant Entertainment for weddings or any other event for that matter! Music was my top priority for my wedding; not only the song choices, but the timing and the energy of the entire party. So I gave Sal a few genres that I wanted to hear and a few songs that were "must plays" and he took that and ran with it and played an entire 4 hours of amazing music, he KILLED IT! Everyone had the best time, the dance floor was packed the whole night, and 5 weeks later my family and friends are still talking about how much fun my wedding was and how we had the best DJ they've heard at a wedding. I truly couldn't be happier with his work. He really gave both me and my husband have the greatest wedding day, and it really feels good to know how much your guests enjoyed themselves. I didn't need to hear it from them either, it was very obvious how much fun everyone was having.

Besides that, the DJ set up was really impressive and completely made the room a more exciting place to be in. Between the up-lighting, the LED screens, the lighting towers, and the percussionist, it was really stunning and set the stage for the energy Sal kept up the whole night. LOVE HIM! BOOK HIM!

They knew the venue inside and out, and were there super early setting up for our special event. From the moment I sat down with Sal, I knew he would be the one for us. He gave suggestions on our songs, and we have very similar taste in music, which made it extremely easy to create a list together. He made it all about "us," which is how a wedding should be. My guests still RAVE about my DJ. Everyone was dancing all night, and did not even want to stop to eat dinner. That's how you know it's a great party! Like any other bride to be out there, planning my wedding was hectic, stressful and a year and a half I will never forget! - extravagant was one of the very first vendors we booked. There wasn't much thought in if we were going to research anyone else! Sal and the entire team was amazing! They made every step of the process stress free. When We saw DJ Sal at a friend's wedding we knew we had to have him at ours! From providing the music at our engagement party to making it his mission to get everyone on the dance floor at our wedding Sal was a great addition to our wedding festivities. He seamlessly blended all types of music and was even able to get all of my wife's family's Greek dances played during the evening. His choice of emcee was a great choice and he complimented our style perfectly. We have reccommended Sal to countless friends for two reasons: 1. We know they will be thoroughly satisfied and 2. In all the DJ's we meet with what made my husband Anthony and I choose Sal was the fact that he listened to what we had to say and seemed to really care more about what we wanted, than trying to sell himself and his business to us. The original wedding date for my daughter & son-in-law was October 3, 2010. Due to a horrific car crash in which my son-in-law broke his neck & required a bone graft and 7 hours of surgery, we had to postpone the wedding 6 months to April of 2011. Sal was accomodating & genuinely sincere in his concern for the Groom & my daugter, the Bride. The accident occurred 5 weeks before the original wedding date, yet our deposits were rolled over, we were never charged additional & on the night of the Wedding, the gorgeous light up booth, uplighting, music and MC - everyone was amazing. Sal also took photos during the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception which were then up on two large screens for all the guests to enjoy. It was a wonderful day, thank you!

I am so pleased with your service. The wedding was fabulous and we have been getting so many compliments on your company! I can't thank you enough for helping to make our wedding so much fun! Almost everyone was out of their seats dancing the ENTIRE night!
This compnay so open to what you want for your special night, you just have to let them know and they will make it happen! Sal did everything possible to make sure our night was perfect.

This company was great to work with! Always professional and very attentive. We received SO many compliments about the music our DJ played from our guests, which made us very happy!!! Everyone had an amazing time!!! They definitely helped make our wedding a dream come true. We highly recommend using Extravagant for any event!!!

Absolutely Wonderful!! Sal went above and beyond to make our wedding celebration one that guests cannot stop talking about! He listened to our desires and made our wishes come true. Working with extravagant entertainment was a wonderful experience! My emails were responded to quickly and any questions I had were answered right away. Sal offered help finding other vendors and conncected us with our videographer. Our wedding was awesome and the dance floor was packed all night! Family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding.

Extravagant Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding! The music was absolutely perfect! Everyone was up dancing the entire night and during dinner the music was the perfect volume so everyone could talk. I would recommend Sal and his company.

Sal at Extravagant Entertainment was an awesome DJ! He had the best setup I have ever seen and I have been to ALOTTTT of weddings! Everyone still raves about how amazing the entertainment was at our wedding!! You want him as your DJ for sure. I will 100% use him for any future events myself and my family may have.

Extravagant Entertainment did an excellent job with the music at my wedding. The dance floor was packed the whole night and the music they played was perfect. Our MC Joe was awesome, if you book with them you must ask for him because he did such a great job.

Sal was truly amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

My husband and I had seen the Extravagant Entertainment at my best friend's wedding 1 month before we got engaged. As soon as we picked our date he was the 2nd vendor we booked. Sal is the quintessential expert on throwing a party. We met with him a few times and each time he gave great suggestions, but never pressured us into anything. From the experience at my friend's wedding we already knew we wanted to have the open air photo-booth, uplighting, and of course DJ services. After talking with him we ended up adding the TVs and confetti cannons to help make ringing in the New Year extra special (it was perfect!) Sal even helped us set up the floor plan to ensure the perfect flow for our guests.

Our MC, Matt, was also truly fabulous. He kept the party going all night!

In addition to the exceptional services from Extravagant Entertainment , we also hired a Greek band for the reception (separately) and Sal made sure to work with them to develop an itinerary which made the night flow seamlessly. Our guests are still raving about what a great time they had! Thank you Sal and Matt!

Using Sal for our DJ and décor at our wedding was one of the best choices we made throughout the wedding planning process. Once you have confirmed the details with him, you need not worry about anything else and can just let him do his thing. The place looked amazing and we constantly get compliments on how our venue looked, the music was perfect, his MC was terrific, and he's a great guy on top of it. It shows that he has a lot of experience and he will help you come up with new ideas once you give him some feedback on what you are looking for. Can't say enough good things about him, book him without hesitation and know that you are in good hands. We're disappointed that we don't have another event coming up that we could use him for.

Sal was great and easy to work with in setting up our event, and our DJ Mike was awesome! My husband and I love music and dancing and we got exactly what we wanted... All the music we like, none of it we didn't like, and most importantly, everyone on the dance floor! Mike did a great job of checking in with us throughout the night to ask us how we wanted things done and how we liked the music. It seemed like he really cared that we were happy with his service. And, he had a great sense of humor! Wen we couldn't find my father for the father daughter dance he acted quickly and spared an awkward moment but cracking some jokes, sending someone to go find him, and playing another great set of tunes to get everyone out on the floor. Almost 3 months later, and I am still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was, and a big part of that was the music, thanks to everyone at Extravagent Entertainment!

By far the BEST BEST BEST t DJ in the tri state area . I was referred by a good friend who works for MTV to meet with Sal the owner of EXTRAVAGANT ENTERTAINMENT he told me I would love what they have to offer... With in 2 minutes of meeting Sal I knew he would do amazing job and that he did .. Sal listend to everything I wanted for my wedding ... My dance floor that holds over 650 people at The Venetian in Garfiled NJ it was packed from the minute the music started to tthe last minute of my reception .. People still talk about my wedding and how INSANE "Queens NY" talk the music was ... Sal also did the lighting for my Grand Ball Room he it was so AMZAING he had changing color spotlights on all the chandliers.. He was by far my BEST vendor .. EXTRAVAGANT ENTERTAINMENT get 100000 stars from me .. Thanks Sal

I called Sal a few months before my traditional West African engagement ceremony and reception. My plan was to ask him to provide the lighting for me but in the end he did so much more!! Despite a very spontaneous and frantic call, he answered every single one of my questions. We had a 45 min conversation before he knew whether or not I would move forward with his services. I knew I was in great hands. Sal and his team provided amazing lighting/draping, wonderful bartending staff, a top notch DJ, and a great MC for my event. I was very anxious as we were planning a Ghanaian/Nigerian event. But when he said he had it under control (to include my constant reminders of the need to cater to a West African crowd), he really, truly meant it. My guests couldn't stop talking about how great the party was and that really would not have been possible without Sal. He was honest about expectations/budget/possibilities while still working to meet all my "wants." Did I mention that I planned this event from Chicago (to take place in New Jersey)?! Yup! And Sal was there for every crazy, anxious step. Sometimes he was a bit difficult to get a hold of in the beginning but he was present when it mattered most. If you're considering working with Sal and his team-just do it! You'll be happy you did.

I do not stop getting compliments on how good my DJ company was at my wedding. Extravagant Entertainment not only made us not worry about the music but came with such professionalism and display it blew our guests away. Sal on the music and Mike as the MC was the perfect mix to get the party going from the minute it began to the end people did not stop dancing. Even when we had down time for cake cutting and bouquet toss they managed to get it fired up on the dance floor. Our quests did not stop dancing! Their back staff helping with equipment and photo booth was also an added plus. It is really going to be a hard wedding for our friends to beat and that largely because of Extravagant Entertainment.

Sal did a terrific job!

The value of the package we got was insane, and the quality was superb. His MC was ON POINT and kept the mood and energy way up the whole night. The musicians he hired were fantastic as well; they really gave the cocktail hour a classy, upbeat vibe. And the pianist for the ceremony played beautifully. We were unsure as to what songs to give Sal, but they came through - you can trust them to know what to play and when. I highly recommend these guys, we loved how it all came out!!

He also got us photographers and videographers for a great value. And the photo booth was great too, people loved it - and they even provide a photo book for guests to put their photos in and leave a message! (though you may want to provide your own guest book for additional writing, as some people like to keep both copies of their photos).

(Word of advice: If you do get in contact with Sal, you need to call him repetitively. No matter what, don't worry - he's got your back and it'll be amazing. But don't be scared to spam his phone and email.)

All in all, HIGHLY recommend! He'll make your event come together like no one else.

We booked our DJ services with Extravagant Entertainment shortly after I got engaged. We met with Sal who is the president of the company. There was just a little misunderstanding. We were under the impression that Sal was going to be the DJ for the wedding up until two days before the wedding. On the contract it says, "Package Includes Sal Gendus as Disc Jockey." However, it does state on the back of the contract that any names listed in the package are requests and are subject to change. So technically, that is our fault for not reading that more thoroughly.

However, everything worked out great! For the misunderstanding, Sal threw in a percussionist, who was great. Our DJ for the night was Jason, and the MC was Jared! Both were amazing and extra friendlly. I spoke with Jared on the phone several times before the day of the wedding and he was so friendly and really made me feel like we were in good hands!

MOST IMPORTANTLY.....The Music was amazing!!! Jason really did an unbeleivable job, the guests were on the dance floor the whole night and at the end of the night everyone said how much fun they had. That is thanks to Jason and Jared for keeping everyone up partying and dancing till the very last song.

I would recommend Extravagant Entertainment to my friends and family without hesitation! Again, a huge thanks to Jason and Jared for making our wedding an insane dance party!!! :)

It was difficult getting a response when trying to make appointments to meet or discuss plans with extravagant entertainment throughout the planning process however they delivered what was discussed on the day of the event. The emcee Denver did a great job with getting the crowd hyped and involved.

Book with someone else (Avoid the wedding day stress!)

We got married in August 2022 and on the day of the wedding, the DJ came late, unprepared, and without any of the information we had already posted on the website (think songs for entrances, specific moments, DO NOT PLAY list, etc.). We had to run the DJ down on what type of music we wanted, and he played so many terrible songs during the reception that I (the bride) was going up to him to ask him to change...not a memory you want for your wedding! I highly recommend you go with someone else. They did the bare minimum in terms of preparation and then actual music. The DJ was stressed and had no clue what he was doing and even said to my dad he wasn't sure if he could pull it off! Thankfully my dad calmed him down and it worked out...Overall a terrible experience with this vendor.

Think twice before booking!!

I’ll start off by saying that if I could give ZERO STARS, I would!!
Sal was booked as my wedding DJ on Saturday night 7/20/19 and NEVER SHOWED UP!! There was no communication from him to his entire team, everyone was looking for him - calling and texting him to no avail, including myself and my father as we were waiting to walk down the aisle as well as during my entire cocktail hour. Nobody on his team knew my song selection for ceremony, and started asking me what to play 10 MINUTES BEFORE I WAS SUPPOSED TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE. Live musicians I hired for ceremony were set up elsewhere since they didn’t have proper direction from their boss. COMPLETE DISASTER. My guests sat in the ceremony with no music or bridal party for 20 minutes while I had to sort this out and i ultimately had to get my groomsmen to carry audio equipment across the venue so we had the proper ceremony music.
1 hour before my reception was supposed to start, I learn that I didn’t have a DJ at all!! Not only did Sal not show up, he didn’t get coverage!! Between Sal’s crew and my amazing venue, they somehow pulled together some hobo radio DJ, NOT A WEDDING DJ, who basically didn’t know how to mix music. All my months of planning went to shit! This new DJ arrived 15 minutes before my reception was supposed to start. It was an utter disaster, causing my party to start late and cutting my reception short. Made me, my husband and my family scramble to make sure we had music and missed our entire cocktail hour cleaning up this mess Sal created. Once the party finally started, we realized that not only was Sal, the company owner/my DJ MIA, but 2 of the live musicians that were contracted for my reception weren’t there either.
Once Sal did finally call me the afternoon AFTER my wedding, he was unapologetic and was trying to provide excuses and reasons why this wasn’t his fault. Complete joke!!! No professionalism in this company at all!!
I hope no bride EVER has to experience what I did. The entire first half of my wedding was RUINED because of Sal’s inability to properly run a company! Months of planning went completely down the drain. They closed out my wedding with my top song from my DO NOT PLAY LIST. If you had plans to book with Extravagant, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! If you have a party booked, try to REVOKE YOUR CONTRACT and book with a professional organization. If the owner doesn’t care about clients, his team won’t either!!! It’s been a week since my wedding and he still won’t own up to the fact that he screwed up!! THIS COMPANY AND ITS OWNER ARE A JOKE!!

The worst experience ever. He never showed up

Sal, the owner, never showed up and never sent anyone to replace him. We were literally getting ready to walk down the aisle and I was notified no one had heard from him. Ruined my daughters wedding. Months of planning went down the drain as none of his crew knew where he was. DO NOT USE SAL OR HIS COMPANY . The most unprofessional business man I ever dealt with.
