  Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Monica......I have so many great and positive things to say about Extraordinaire and her staff, I hardly know where to begin.....we used her services for two events back to back one event on Friday and our wedding on Saturday. Monica and her staff never missed a beat and gave great, quality and professional customer service. Her communication, professionalism, creativity and gentle spirit will take your wedding/event a llloooonnnngggg way. Not only did she execute my vision and provided us with great suggestions and guidance along the way, she was also a great mentor when our wedding had taken emotional tolls on me from time to time. She has the ability to connect with her brides and client and are passionate about their needs. She is very organized and always had answers to my questions on the spot. I was so impressed with her work and quality of service, she is NOW and will ALWAYS be my event planner for events in the future. I don't think our wedding day would have turned out as nice and immaculate as it it did if it wasn't for Monica and her staff. Our guest are still talking about our wedding and how much of a great time they had. Thank you so much Monica and the Extraordinaire staff.

  Given that my wedding was almost two months ago, this review is long overdue especially, since Monica and her team did such a tremendous job. I was connected with Monica a week before my wedding through one of my other vendors after I had to let my first Day-Of-Coordinator go due to unsatisfactory events before my wedding.
  Monica and her team came in and took over where I left off and everything went better than I expected without any hiccups. They were professional, flexible and very helpful with advice for this DIY bride. Thanks Monica and team!!

  The first time I spoke with Monica over the phone, I knew that I wanted to work with her. She was very knowledgable and seemed eager to work with me as well. After discontinuing my relationship with another planner, I decided to work with Monica and I could not have been happier. Monica and her team carried out every detail of my wedding meticulously. She went above and beyond on many occasions such as attending my tasting with the venue although it was not in my package and she had another meeting to attend on the same day. She also referred me to several of my vendors (make up, chairs, DJ etc.) and they also did not disappoint. On Wedding day she had two assistants and they were very friendly and helpful. They were with me all night and catered to me and my husband's every need. I received so many compliments regarding my event, some stating that "it was the best wedding that they had ever attended". I wholeheartedly give Monica all the credit for such compliments and I am not sure what I would have done without her! If you are in need of a planner, she is your girl!

  I was an out of state bride and from the beginning, Monica has been nothing, but a pleasure to work with.   My wedding day went along so smoothly & that is undoubtedly b/c of Monica's exceptional attention to proper timing of events & the time schedule she established. Her day of wedding staff was the icing on the cake! One of her staff members did anything that he could to make sure that my day was perfect-and in ways I felt like he was my personal day of wedding assistant and the queen.
  
  Event planning is clearly a true passion of Monica's, she executed the wedding that I envisioned. My family and wedding party were also impressed by her and her team. My wedding was the 2nd best day of my life and this wouldn't have been the case without Monica.

  Monica was a very professional wedding coordinator. She and her staff coordinated my wedding reception and did a fabulous job! She was accessible at all times, designed the time line, followed up on the vendors and had the venue set up just how I visioned it. For a reception of 250 guests, she made sure the reception went smoothly and everyone was accommodated. Once the reception was over she had all the merchandise organized by vendor ready for pick up in which everything was accounted for. I would highly recommend Monica to assist with any event big or small!!

  Monica and her team with Extraordinaire Affairs & Events did an amazing job with our wedding. They were professional, knowledgeable, and personable. From venue searches, to monthly checklists, and even bridal gown fittings, she and her team were there whenever we needed them. We did not feel there was any time that we could not call her to ask questions. On wedding day our families felt relaxed and comfortable with her and two assistants. She even provided services to us on her birthday! Now if that is not dedication then I do not know what is. It was a joy to work with this event planning agency and we highly recommend them for all of your wedding planning needs.

  We recently contracted Monica Jackson as our wedding coordinator and could not be more pleased with her work. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. Everything was exactly as we ever dreamed of and more. The success we had with this wedding could have not happened without her.
  
  We are very grateful to her for putting so much effort into our special day. She truly cares for her clients on both a professional and personal level and her passion for the job is very obvious. She did a stellar job with both the planning as well as the execution on that day. We strongly recommend her to anyone considering a wedding planner.

  Monica Jackson- Burel is truly the best of the best. Her expertise was CRUCIAL to the absolute perfection of my wedding day. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my wedding was the BEST day of my life, and that I was happy from start to finish. I give all credit to Extraordinaire Affairs and Events and the recommended vendors. If there were any problems on my wedding day, my guests and I were completely oblivious to them. Our wedding was planned and executed to perfection: everything happened on schedule, emergencies were handled immediately, the most minor details were covered, and my guests are STILL raving about my wedding weeks after.
  
  Regarding planning process: I'm reflective enough to know that I was a bit of a difficult bride. I was unsure of what I wanted, extremely budget conscious, out-of-state, inattentive, skeptical and slightly demanding. Knowing what I know now, I never had any reason to be that way. Monica seriously knows EVERYTHING there is to know about weddings, decor, contracts, vendors, and so on. She linked me with EXCELLENT vendors who were willing to work with my budget and were absolute professionals. This is a testament to how experienced, versatile, and well connected she is! She knew the right people to meet my specific needs. Another thing I loved about her: instead of being dismissive about my ideas, she always provided options to help guide me.
  
  I was also impressed by how thoughtful Monica is! When my grandfather passed, I unexpectedly received the sweetest card from Monica sharing her condolences. She was especially kind through a very demanding year for me ( job responsibilities, pending cross country move, etc, etc).
  
  Needless to say, Extraordinaire Affairs & Events is the company you need and want for your wedding day! Monica and her staff were extremely professional, attentive, and calm, which led to an anxiety, stress free day for me. She's so pleasant, creative, detail oriented and has great taste!

Once I hired them I could feel the stress of the planning going away and my dream event suddenly becoming real. I could always count on prompt and thoughtful responses (usually within the hour). We could always rely on the Team at Extraordinaire Affairs' cheery perspective and strong knowledge of planning to help see us through.
  
  They became champions for wedding reception and worked tirelessly behind the scenes - up through to the end of the event and after!   Where do I start? If it wasn't for Monica and her services, my wedding would not have come together. My wedding happened in the Atlanta areas and I leave about 1000 miles away. Monica was able to get everything done and I still felt that our wedding represented us. I highly recommend her for her professionalism, talent, flexibility,.....( I could go on and on).

  Monica and her team are the best! Their work is professional and Monica knows her stuff. She will have an answer to your questions immediately since she has so much experience. A bride has nothing to worry about when using her as the planner. I enjoyed the experience because it didn't seem like working with a stranger but more of a friend I've always known.

  As I’m writing this review my heart smiles because of the hard work and dedication Monica put forth to make my wedding a bliss. I was deployed to Afghanistan while I was planning my wedding (September 14, 2014); I was actual working with another Atlanta wedding planner who turned my “happy planning” into a catastrophe before I met Monica. I was so frustrated with my previous planner I was so scared to contact another planner. I’m so glad I took the chance and called Monica a true jewel for a bride-to-be. After speaking to Monica I regained my confidence in my wedding planning journey. She didn’t want to know what happen she just wanted to know my vision for my wedding day and she told me we were going to make it happen and we did. She provided great guidance and advice for all avenues for my wedding day. Monica was always available for communication either emails or telephone calls in spite of the time difference from Afghanistan to the United States, she always kept me informed with the status of my venue and vendors (she traveled to the venue and sent pictures with some ideas for decorations).
  
  I was stress free while I was working Monica because of her love for her job she truly exceed my expectations. Having Monica as a wedding planner was a wonderful experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. I personally think she went beyond measure to ensure my wedding day was a success. I will definitely use her services in the near future and recommend Monica to my family and friends.
  
  How amazing is it to have a wedding planner who can take charge of your wedding while you’re deployed and you only traveled to the states once before your wedding day????

She didn’t want to know what happen she just wanted to know my vision for my wedding day and she told me we were going to make it happen and we did. She provided great guidance and advice for all avenues for my wedding day. Monica was always available for communication either emails or telephone calls in spite of the time difference from Afghanistan to the United States, she always kept me informed with the status of my venue and vendors (she traveled to the venue and sent pictures with some ideas for decorations).
  
  I was stress free while I was working Monica because of her love for her job she truly exceed my expectations. Having Monica as a wedding planner was a wonderful experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. I personally think she went beyond measure to ensure my wedding day was a success. I will definitely use her services in the near future and recommend Monica to my family and friends.
  
  How amazing is it to have a wedding planner who can take charge of your wedding while you’re deployed and you only traveled to the states once before your wedding day????

She took alot of stress off my hands when we hired her, she took over the job from a previous planner that was unable to get the job done. But Mrs. Jackson and her staff jumped in the mix with a short period of time and made everything flow so smoothly. All the other vendors including myself and my beautiful wife enjoyed having her on the team to create such a special day for us. Monica has gone above and beyond for us since it’s hard for us to contact people due to the time difference. We have only been back to the states once; she had all the appointments lined up in a manner that allowed us to not only handle business but have time to visit with family. We got to see how hard she works to get us the best things for your money. Monica has kept us within our budget and we are still very satisfied with the arrangements that we have this far. Near or far I think Monica is an excellent choice. Your wedding is her wedding and she has shown us that she will do everything in her power to make it the most memorable moment of our lives.
