Better than amazing!

To say that I highly recommend Emily & her staff just isn't enough! If you want to look more beautiful than you can imagine ever looking AND have it last throughout the entire day & night of your event, you just simply have to use Exquisite Reflections. Period! I'm an older bride. Like really older (70). But I can honestly say I looked prettier than when I was probably your age (whoever is reading this). Nothing settled in my lines & wrinkles. I had the traditional make-up & it was phenomenal! And my hair! I have a short bob & thought I would have to wear a hairpiece, but Emily actually has a way of making shorter hair look fabulous as an updo. I've used the services of other stylists over the years & looking back, they didn't hold a candle to Emily.

Amazing work from Exquisite Reflections

Great Experience!

Exquisite Reflections was amazing! My hair and makeup was so beautiful for my wedding! My bridesmaids, mom, mother in law, and myself were very pleased with the looks we received. Emily is amazing at what she does!

Amazing Artist

I found Exquisite Reflections at the Bridal Extravaganza event, where I was able to get a great deal. When I went for my trial, I loved the results for my hair and makeup. The morning of my wedding, Emily came to my home, and she did a phenomenal job! She maintained great communication the morning of. She was very calm, friendly and super kind, which helped me stay stress free. We had good conversations and laughs while she was working on me. I, and all my guests loved her job. My makeup and hair stayed intact throughout the night, and I danced all night long. I 100% recommend her!

Exquisite Reflections is the way to go!

I am so happy that I ran across Exquisite Reflections at the Bridal Extravaganza event (in Houston) as they are absolutely fantastic! Emily Olson and her team did a beyond fantastic job (both hair and make-up) with my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and myself...we also had such a fun time spending the day with them and filling the time with a lot of funnies and great conversation! I highly recommend Exquisite Reflections to all and do suggest you book the trials with Emily ahead of time as she and I were able to get everything perfect so that the day-of the wedding went smoothly! Thank you again, Emily and team, for making me feel beyond beautiful!

Where do I begin with this woman's work on my wife! When I first met my wife I saw her picture on Facebook and asked who did your makeup and she told me Emily! Of course, she said that is when she felt the MOST gorgeous! So I knew we had to have Emily to bring her magic, even though my wife does NOT need it one bit! If you are still searching for hair/makeup, then check out Emily and her team at Exquisite, because when she is finished with you, she make you EXQUISITE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emily (Exquisite Reflections) was the perfect choice for wedding hair and makeup! This vendor is a 5/5 in all categories. Definitely book a trial hair/makeup to see how amazing this vendor can make you look! Emily did my hair and makeup and it turned out flawless! She was able to create a natural makeup look for me (I got the "traditional makeup") and make me feel/look like myself while being photogenic in pictures! This can be a hard balance to achieve for someone who is not used to wearing a ton of makeup. Emily truly listens to what you want and don't want; she has very high attention to detail and is able to understand your vision for hair/makeup. She was able to impress the pickiest of brides when it comes to makeup and hair. For my hair, I asked her for a classy, clean chignon. I provided her a picture of what I wanted and actually combined two pictures of different hairstyles to get the look I wanted. She was able to create volume with my chignon even with my relatively flat/thin hair. Emily is able to create the hairstyle you want while taking into consideration the length/volume/texture of hair you have! This vendor's staff is very responsive, professional, and flexible. They are moderately priced and provide good value for their price point. Definitely book a trial with this vendor and do not be afraid to explain in detail what you like and don't like! Emily will adjust accordingly and be able to create a look that you can be comfortable wearing while still being very photogenic. You cannot go wrong with this hair/makeup vendor!

Exquisite Reflections provided wonderful hair and makeup service for my wedding earlier this year. I would highly recommend this company to any bride who is in the process of planning her wedding. I chose to add a hair and make-up trial to my package, so I could work out the details of what I wanted everything to look like before the date of my bridal portraits. This was very helpful and I feel like it made things run smoother the morning my bridal portraits were taken. For the wedding my mother and five bridesmaids also had their hair and makeup done by the Exquisite Reflections team, and they were all very pleased with the results. Emily Olson did my hair and makeup for the trial, bridal portrait, and on my wedding day. She is so talented and very professional! Any bride would be lucky to have Emily and her team work with her!

I used Exquisite Reflections for my wedding and I could not be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out! My five bridesmaids, my mother, my flower girl and I all received services. Everyone was very happy and we all received a lot of compliments on our hair and makeup. My bridesmaids and I got airbrush makeup with false eyelashes and we all look flawless in my wedding pictures! I also got a tattoo cover-up and you could never tell that there was a tattoo there because the makeup blended so well with my skin.

At my trial, I didn't really know how I wanted my makeup to look so I trusted Emily to do what she thought would look best. When I saw what I looked like at the end, I started crying because I felt so beautiful! I had the same reaction after I saw myself for my bridal portraits and even on my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!

Emily and her entire team were amazing to work with. They were always very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I probably talked to Exquisite Reflections more than any of my other vendors because I had so many questions but they were always so friendly and accommodating. Emily and her assistants made my whole party feel very comfortable and they listened to each girl to make sure they all got the look they wanted. If I have any hair or makeup needs in the future, I will be using Exquisite Reflections for their services and I would definitely recommend them to all brides!!

I worked with Chloe for my wedding in July, and she was wonderful! My bridesmaids, flower girl, and myself had hair done and my mom and I had makeup...and all of them turned out beautifully! They kept my schedule for the day in mind and worked efficiently and carefully. We loved how everything turned out!

This vendor was conveniently located in my area, and when I went to their studio for my test run, I was impressed with the setup and skills of the artist. I had them do my makeup, as well as my wedding party's. Chloe was great and made me look flawless and feel beautiful. I did not do the airbrush makeup, but have heard great things about it. Chloe and her assistant came out on the big day and did all our makeup out on the house deck and it was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend them for big event makeup.

Karley was amazing!!!! I have never looked or felt more beautiful in my life!! The best part is they travel! I was able to relax in my bridal suite and not have to worry about a thing. Karley is so sweet and easy to talk to, it felt like she was one of my girls. Because of Karley, for the first time in my life, I did not feel self conscious about anything! She made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the entire world!! Thank you Karley!!

I have truly never felt so beautiful in my life and I really owe most of that to Emily and Exquisite Reflections. They were close to the hotel I was staying at so Emily came with two other girls to do my bridesmaids and my make up and hair. I just felt so gorgeous and could not stop looking in the mirror. They did exactly what I wanted to a T. The hair and make up honestly could not have been any better. Everyone was telling me how beautiful I looked. They are really so amazing and take their job seriously and make sure you are happy with what you are getting. I was so lucky to find them!

Emily did amazing job on my hair and traditional airbrush make-up!! Her work was perfect yet effortless. She knows all the products she uses like the back of her hand and can answer any questions you may have. Emily and her group of stylists are fantastic! She did hair for a wedding i was in and did a fabulous job, so I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding as well. After my trial I loved my hair, but then found a hair style I felt would fit better. Emily was able to make that change the day of my wedding, and it was perfect! She takes the time to make sure you are completely happy with how you look before she is done. I would recommend Exquisite Reflections in a heart beat to anyone!

Best experience I could have had on my wedding day. Everything was so relaxed, and the girls were great. They talked and laughed with us and made the day so pleasant! Every time someone got done with their hair we were all in awe of how beautiful it was! The makeup is natural, beautiful, everything you could ask for! We had 11 women, they are definitely capable of handling a crowd and I loved that they came to my FMILs house to do it all. So nice to be in the comfort of a familiar place leading up to the wedding! I have nothing bad to say. Not many things go PERFECTLY when planning a wedding, but this certainly did! Thanks ladies!

I found this service through the recomendation of our venue. Emily did the make up for me, she was so nice, and always asked me what i like so she could do it as best as she can. We had fun, the ladies were great to talk to and they tailored the make up/eye shadow with what worked best for each bridesmaid.

Exquisite Reflections has a salon onsight at Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia and one of the venue's packages includes this service. What a delight and surprise they were. Amy was EXCELLENT and made my daughter's dream wedding hair and make-up come true, as well as making me as the mother-of-the-bride radiant. She listens to everything you say to ensure you achieve the exact look you want. Even if you are not marrying at Ashelynn Manor, I highly recommend Exquisite Reflections - for your special day. I had airbrush makeup and airbrush tanning done for my wedding on 1-18-2014. The owner Emily was my beautician, and she did a fantastic job!

The trial was really pivotal in my look, because as someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup I had a hard time coming to terms with, well, wearing a lot of makeup. Emily was very understanding of what I wanted, and provided her advice along with it to help come us up with a compromise. I'm sure if I wore makeup routinely or had a clearer idea of what I wanted, she'd have done exactly that. But with my hesitancy she still managed to make me look great, and I have the pictures to prove it!

The tan was also the best tan I'd ever had. As a pale lady, I've faced the trials and tribulations of fake tanning, and I was scared I'd be blotchy from it. But the formula they use went on light and gave me just a hint of color so I wasn't so washed out in my photos.

Thanks again Emily, and if I ever need to be fancied up again I'll know who to go to!

Exquisite Reflections did all the hair styles for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. They were amazing! I worked with Allison, and I loved her! On the day of my wedding, the car we were in overheated so we were 30 minutes late to the venue. Allison was super nice about everything, and she still managed to get all of us ready on time.

The entire team did a phenomenal job on all of the bridesmaids and family members and I know it must have been tricky because this was a mixed group of ladies from asian to white to indian and everything in between. I had an old hollywood glamour theme and my bridesmaids looked like a million bucks. I did not get my hair done because I did not have time to do a trial and I have had bad experiences with other hair stylists before but on the day of once I saw all the bridesmaids I regretted leaving my hair as my natural way and not getting glamoured up with everyone else. My wedding was thanksgiving weekend 2012 so I know this review is late. Only thing I was very sad about was I had warned the team that my mom has short hair and her hair came out horrible she looked like a crazy person. So if you have long hair you would certainly reap the benefits of this team but with short hair not so much.

Emily was my make-up artist for my trial, my bridal portraits, and my wedding day. She was very easy to work with and communicate what I was looking for on my wedding day. She was flexible time wise to meet with me, and offered good suggestions on my overall look since I don't wear make-up on a daily basis. Emily is extremely talented and her staff that applied make-up for my maid of honor and mother did an outstanding job. I would HIGHLY recommend Emily and her staff to make your pictures and day PERFECT. They are professional, kind, flexible, and reasonable for the services provided. I couldn't have been happier with my make-up and the way it made my pictures look Breathtaking!!! Thank you again for making my day non-stressful, and Perfect!!!

I used Amy and she was very personable, helped when I needed her opinion and did a great job on my makeup! For a budget bride it's very pricey but its worth every penny, if you want to look beautiful on your wedding day it's definitely where you need to splurge!

Allison and her team is amazing! She listened to what we wanted and did my makeup and hair flawlessly! My six bridesmaids were high maintenance but they were so professional and the girls ended up loving their very natural makeup styles and gorgeous curls. Emily was absolutely wonderful to work with for my Bridal Portraits as well as my Wedding!! She made me look and feel beautiful without any worries what-so-ever. Emily did an outstanding job on the makeup for me and my maid of honor. She made me feel like a different woman, all mysterious and beautiful, ready to surprise my husband. My maid of honor thought she did an excellent job on her make up and also on the tattoo cover up; Emily was extremely thorough and went back a second time to completely erase all traces of the tattoo. She is a sweet person to talk to and very patient. If I need professional make up done for another event, I'm contacting her.

Emily and her team were born to be artists! Emily was so knowledgable about all of the products she uses. She also listens to what our requests, she didn't just do whatever she wanted. My maid of honor and I chose her airbrushing package and we absolutely loved it! Her prices are very competitive and I would definitely recommend Exquisite Reflections to any bride!

I had a wonderful experience with Exquisite Reflections. Emily was very nice and attentive. She always responded very quickly to all of my emails. I also recommend doing a trial that way you can change anything you like. I must have changed my mind at least 10 times about the hairstyle I wanted. On my wedding day I was extremely pleased with the way everyone’s hair and makeup turned out especially mine. It was perfect! Even my now Father-in-law kept talking about how beautiful everyone’s hair and makeup was!!! The airbrush tan was amazing. There was no streaking or orange color. I am naturally very pale and it gave me a nice natural glow. I would recommend Exquisite Reflections for anyone about to get married or going to a formal event.

Johanna was the hair-stylist and make-up artist for my wedding. She did my hair and the hair of my three bridesmaids. She also did my make-up. I met with Johanna for a trial session before the wedding, so I was confident in the services I would receive on wedding day. This review is going to be very short and simple. My hair was absolutely perfect! I sent Johanna a picture of what I wanted, and she absolutely delivered! I did not give her a lot of direction for the make-up I wanted, but I truly don't think I've ever looked more beautiful! She did a fantastic job! My bridesmaids looked great too! Exquisite Reflections was wonderful! I got "Full Glam" make-up (airbrush makeup) and I got my hair done. It was beautiful! They also did my bridals and I LOVED it! They did several of my girls' hair and they all looked great. They were very professional and organized. I even won a social media contest and won free makeup! Amy was my stylist and she was so sweet and helpful! I don't wear much makeup normally. She was able to make me look beautiful for my wedding while still making me look like me.

All the ladies involved in making me and all my girls beautiful did a great job. It was fun being pampered and made beautiful...not that all my girls already weren't beautiful. They did a great job in knowing what looked good on which girl. They were very professional and very good at what they do.

I loved the look Cayla helped me create for my wedding day! Cayla was awesome! The only bummer was that my trial spray tan turned my hands orange. Oh well, the hair and make-up was great!

Exquisite Reflections was great to work with on my wedding day. We had Emily and she did a fabulous job! I realized about 2 months before my wedding that I hadn't even thought about getting makeup services lined up and thought I'd be out of luck. I contacted Exquisite Reflections because of their great reviews and luckily Emily was available for my date. I had a trial session on my Bridal Portrait day and they turned out great. The office staff was always very communicative with any questions I had. Emily and her assistant showed up early on my wedding day (impressive considering our start time was 6:30 am!) and we were all finished well before the time we requested. We were all very happy with the services and would definitely recommend them to any Bride for her big day!

I recently used Exquisite Reflections for hair and makeup for my wedding. Johonna and Morgan were so wonderful to work with. They did an amazing job on everything for myself, my mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids. We all looked stunning, and definitely got compliments throughout the evening. They cam directly to our hotel, making it super convenient. I would definitely recommend Exquisite Reflections to any bride who wants to look gorgeous on her wedding day!

Johanna was our coordinator for my daughter's wedding three weeks ago. She did make-up, hair and tans for both my daughter and me. We had to drive a long way for her trial and our tan's but it was well worth the time and gas. Johanna was on-site on the wedding day and made us beautiful!! She did a great job!

I had my bridal and wedding day hair and airbrush make up done with Exquisite Reflections and they were Amazing!! All of my bridesmaids also have their hair done. Exquisite Reflections did a fantastic job on my hair and make-up for my wedding. I went with the airbrush make-up and it remained perfect throughout the entire day! I also paid to have my bridesmaids make-up and hair to be done, and they received the "Traditional make-up", which my only criticism was that their make-up seems to be "caked-on" and settled in whatever minimal lines or creases that they had on their face and left what looked like indentations, we had to keep blotting it to let it rub in smoothly. As for my air-brush make-up though, I have no complaints! My hair, and the >130 bobby pins that were in it, stayed perfect the entire night! I paid for Exquisite Reflections to come out and do my make-up on site, which was extremely convenient and I would suggest for brides to consider doing that as well! The Trial process was easy, however I had to do it within 30 days of signing a contract with them and I had only just recently (fortunately) purchased my dress, so my trial was done more than 6 months before my wedding. It would have been nice to have been able to do it a little bit closer to my wedding. Overall I was THRILLED with my results and would definitely recommend Exquisite Reflections to any bride!

Exquisite reflections came out to the wedding venue to style my hair and make-up. Our stylist was very friendly and helpful and provided me and my sister with just what we were lookikng for. They were a little pricy but for the quality I think it was worth it.

I had a wonderful experience with Exquisite Reflections! It was very easy to communicate with Emily and Brian and I always received quick responses to e-mails. There were about 7 of us getting hair and/or make-up done and they did a wonderful job doing everyone's hair and make-up! A lot of us came in with only a vague idea of how we wanted our hair done and they did a fantastic job coming up with the perfect hair style. I absolutely loved the make-up she did for me and everyone else! It was so easy to work with them and they were so much fun to talk to and hang out with while we were getting maid over! I would recommend them to anyone!

Emily was very nice. I had no problem getting quick personable responses to my e-mails. She did a wonderful job on my makeup for my bridals and the wedding. I was very happy with my hair at the wedding, I was a little disappointed that my hair didn't make it through my bridals, especially for the amount of money. My bridal party looked beautiful. The only thing is, I had made plans for my photographer and videographer to show up to shoot some of me getting ready, but I guess because there where more stylist than what was originally communicated to me, they did my hair and makeup sooner. So the only shots I have are from the cell phones of my friends. Overall I think everyone was happy with thier hair and makeup at the wedding.

It looked nice overall. Bridal photos you could see the eyeliner under my eyes; she ran a bit late to the venue due to morning appointments she had. She sent two other people but they didn't do all of the brides hair or makeup. The only stressful part was trying to get that all done then rush to get ready.

I was very unsure of how I wanted to wear my hair on the big day. So for the trial run of my bridal portraits I decided to wear my hair up... It was beautiful but it didn't feel like me. It was too dolled up for how I wanted to look on my wedding day. Everyone I talked to loved the way it looked and advised me not to change it on my wedding day. But I decided that I wanted to wear my hair down... I didn't fully make up my mind until we arrived at the venue. But it was the best decision I made throughout the whole wedding process. If I had any advice it would be to go with what styles makes you feel like you and what makes you feel beautiful on your wedding day.
The stylist was very helpful and encouraging to my request to change my hair on such short notice.
I will also say that make sure you give them a good and for sure number of how many people they will be doing hair and makeup, because there was a miscommunication or something because only one stylist came to my wedding and was in charge of doing four people's makeup and hair including my own. And since they do the bride last to make sure everything looks the cleanest... I was stressing out because it was getting so close to my ceremony and my hair still wasn't done. We actually had to miss pictures before the ceremony in order to make sure my hair got done.
And since we were so crunched for time, my sister in law was unhappy with her hair but there was no time to change it. The stylist teied to fix it by moving bobby pins around but overall my sister in law was not happy with her hair.

Communication on the phone and through emails with the company were good and they replied to me fairly quickly. I had a hair and makeup trial with Brenda who I had communicated with through text and phone calls. I had sent her pictures of makeup and hair styles that I wanted. On the day of my trial she was about 5 minutes late and took about another 5-10 minutes to set up her station. She said she hadn't had time to practice the hairstyle I wanted, so she just twisted my hair and pulled it to one side with some curls and said she would practice the hairstyle I wanted before my wedding. Which I feel defeats the purpose of the trial. I wanted the airbrush makeup, but I'm not sure if it was my skin or her technique it magnifier my pores and made them look huge. My eyeliner was uneven and the contouring looked too visible like it needed more blending. Needless to say I was not happy with my trial and did not book with them. Definitely glad I did a trial before having that happen on my wedding day.

Bottom Line: pretty awful. Long story with details if you want to keep reading.

My wedding was in April 2014. I planned my wedding from halfway across the country, so we communicated solely by email. I was thrown off by how when I received emails from them, it was from 3 different people and none of them had signature blocks or identified themselves in email. They sent me the contract, which was a little convoluted but after figuring that out, it seemed like we were all good to go. Then, I got an email from my stylist saying she recommended I do a trial before the wedding day. I said sure, we set up the date, and I thought nothing of it until the week of my wedding. I got an email from her the NIGHT before the trial, saying they forgot to charge me for it. She NEVER mentioned a price for this. It was $150! I called and told them that was so unprofessional I was considering not using their services at all. They relented and said since they made a mistake they wouldn't charge me for it. So the next day I get to the trial and the stylist was late to the appointment. We went inside and she got to work. I had chosen airbrush makeup. The makeup was HORRENDOUS. It aged me about 10 years and was caked on so thick I looked like a clown version of Kim Kardashian. I opted to do my own makeup for my ceremony. The hair she did, however, was pretty amazing, so I did use her for that. I called the company asking for a refund for the payment I had already made for the makeup and they said "Sure yes very sorry check's in the mail," etc. Well...my wedding was a month ago, and I still haven't received my check. It took my dad having to leave work to go pick it up and to top it off, they shorted me almost $100 on my refund. It's past arguing with these people. In summary, super unprofessional and not very good service. The artist did wonderfully for my hair, but everything else was very poor and I would not recommend this to anyone.
