Shantay is amazing

If you are looking for someone with vision and also the most bang for your buck, you must hire Expressions of Decor. Shantay is an incredible talent. She helped my husband and I clarify our visions and get on one accord in our early meetings with her. She was incredibly accessible and helped me talk through various ideas leading up to the big day. Our guests thought our wedding decor was incredibly elegant. Shantay certainly elevated our event and we can't recommend her enough.

Gorgeous, Fun, and Flexible

Shantay was highly recommended to me by a friend and she did not disappoint! All of the floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. were beautiful. She also provided our flower girl baskets and electric votive candles, and has the capacity to provide linens and some decor if you'd like. She was very understanding of our budget and made it easy to get exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted. The day of the wedding she executed everything flawlessly! I cannot say enough good things about Shantay's florals and her contagious, joyous personality!

Shantay was absolutely great to work with and she truly has a gift for putting together beautiful arrangements. When I walked into our venue the day of our wedding I was completely taken back by how spectacular everything looked. From the bridal bouquet to the table arrangements—it was all breathtaking. We received so many compliments on them throughout the night. Thank you so much, Shantay, for helping to bring out the elegance of our wedding with your wonderful work!!

Shantay was so nice and was great at hearing what we wanted and presenting options in terms of in-season flowers and alternatives to expensive types of florals. She provides beautiful and unique pieces and has a plethora of vases and decorative pieces. She even gave us the perfect small floral pieces to be put on our cake and always had suggestions when we weren't sure what we were looking for.

Shantay and team were so fantastic, I can't believe how great of a job they did! How flowers were such high quality and our centerpieces were just breath taking. Seriously, so glad I went with them!! They are great!

Being in the wedding industry, its hard finding one person to choose for your wedding decor. I have a lot of friends in the industry, but Shantay is not only a friend of our business, she hit it off well with my Wife. Shantay was able to take my Wife's vision and make it come to life. We told her everything we wanted, and everything we didn't want. Shantay showed us images and pictures of exactly what we were wanting and not having to go through several changes or meetings of trying to get it right. I think Shantay has the experience and knowledge to nail down your vision instantly where as there were other great Decor vendors out there, they just did not have the experience to nail what fit us, or fit our vision! I highly recommend meeting with Shantay for your decor and floral!

Shantay was a huge answer to many of my prayers! When I reached the point of finally searching for my florist I was stressing about trying to find someone to provide/rent dinner cloth napkins in my spearmint color, table numbers, and pretty much the decorating vision I had in my mind and I was overwhelmed with how I would find what I wanted without spending a ton of many and having to go through a ton of separate vendors or renting business. Then by the grace of God he lead me straight to Shantay. She was the 2nd florist appointment I had and the first one had me terrified that I wasn't going to easily bring this vision of mine to life and I would possibly have to hire a coordinator to help me wrap this wedding planning up. But thankfully everything that came out of my mouth Shantay replied " I got you, I can provide that!" She was so on point and I felt how well she understood where I was taking my ideas. She practically finished my sentences! AND she wasn't nearly the price I would have ended up paying if I went through multiple vendors to bring it all together; she was so reasonably priced. I call Shantay my angel, she did an amazing job, everything I had envisioned she brought to life on my wedding day and even more! The ceremony was PERFECT, the cocktail hour area and reception ballroom were ALL breathtaking! If you're looking for someone who will provide all you need in one BOOK her! She does an incredible job, you will not be disappointed!

Shantay was very responsive and is very creative when it comes to designing a wedding. Her color coordinating of blues and purples was just amazing and came together at my reception with such artistry. She was punctual for the day of and was sweet enough to come by the ceremony site after the reception set up to show me pictures and make sure it was what I had envisioned - and it was even more. She did what another florist had told me couldn't be done for a fall wedding, and in looking back at my wedding pictures I couldn't have imagined it any other way. Please consider Shantay Long for your floral and event designing - you'll get a great value for truly wonderful services.

Shantay is amazing!!! Very professional and great at what she does! My wedding was wonderful, a dream come true! Everything was beautiful, it was that and more of what I had envision. When I had my consultation with her, she understood everything very well and was able to put a lot of things together and gave me many choices. I had the pleasure of working with Shantay while planning my wedding at the recommendation of a family friend. From the very first meeting, Shantay was very professional and knowledgeable. She quickly understood my vision for my ceremony/reception décor and offered helpful ideas. One of the things I appreciated the most about working with Shantay is that she offers way more than centerpieces. I used Expressions of Décor for table linens, glassware, candles, bouquets and all of my centerpieces. Shantay is not only incredibly gifted with floral arrangements, but also with the overall décor. I also appreciated the time she spent getting to know me. She completely understood my vision for the wedding, and her execration on the day-of was flawless. It was such a relief for me to coordinate with one person for all of the decorating details.

I was also very impressed with the value and quality of Expressions of Décor. Shantay went above and beyond to make my wedding special. She has an eye for detail and thinks of everything when it comes to decorating! I was not able to see the reception venue decorated until I arrived with my guests after the ceremony. I never had to worry about anything with Shantay in charge. I received so many compliments on the centerpieces, and I absolutely loved my bouquet. I'm so thankful Shantay was a part of our special day. She is absolutely wonderful!!

Shantay was awesome. From our initial meeting to our many follow-up convos and my frequent order changes she was a true pro. She kept us in the loop at every important stage and let us know when she was handling and we could lean back. Two days before the wedding we saw our mock table. There was one element I didn't love and it was evident from my muted reaction. At the time, I told Shantay to move forward (no biggie). On the wedding day, I saw that she swapped out that element for exactly what I was looking for. I have no idea how she did it within that timeline, but it was awesome! I highly recommend her - absolute high quality service and product!

Shantay is amazing!! My wedding was beautiful thanks to all the wonderful arrangements. All I saw was roses everywhere just how I imagine it! When i first met Shantay I intantly fell comfortable to tell her all my ideas for the wedding! Within minutes she was already showing different samples and pictures of things that fall in the same category of the things I wanted at my wedding. Within a few say she had a proposal ready and I knew she was the one perfect for our wedding! Her knowledge and experience is amazing! She puts so much heart into her job. My wedding day was full of roses just how me and my husband imagined. All my friends and family were very impress with all the decor and said it was a job well done! I can't thank her enough for being part of such an important event in my life.

Shantay is FABULOUS!!! From the first moment I met her, I knew I was going to use her! She is a master of her craft and was able to provide some great insight on the flowers I was after. She is also a purple and a bling queen (like me!) so did an amazing job incorporating both into my bouquets/center pieces in a beautiful way. She also sets up time the week of the wedding to show you all of the centerpieces in her shop so you can see what they look like ahead of time and make any necessary changes. I received so many compliments on the flowers and it was all thanks to her! I'd highly recommend her!!

Shantay at Expressions of Decor did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers and decor for our wedding. She took my very vague thoughts and created the most beautiful vision and end result for all of the ceremony flowers, cocktail and dinner reception tables and flowers, and bouquets. Shantay also added additional touches she knew would enhance the design even more, and did a mini mockup of the table a couple of days in advance for me to view to confirm it met expectations. It exceeded expectations! I would not hesitate to recommend Expressions of Decor.

Best wedding florist! Shantay was a pleasure to work with. She had great ideas and really listened to what I wanted. She provided all of my linens as well. She was easy to work with and had many examples and samples for me to see to really get a feel for what I would be getting. She even added some surprises and added flowers where they were needed just to enhance the event even more. She attended our walkthrough to ensure she knew where everything would take place and to be 100% prepared.

Shantay did an amazing job for our wedding. She provided all of the flowers and decor and my husband and I were amazed at how she was able to bring our vision to life. She was pleasant to work with. She was always nice and provided suggestions/alternatives if we wanted something that wasn't in our budget. I LOVED working with Expressions of Decor! At our first appointment, we sat down and looked through books, magazines, her photos of her previous work, and online to find what we were looking for. I simply had to mention what I was thinking of and she immediately pulled up a picture of exactly what I was looking for, and then executed it perfectly for my wedding day. She kept in constant contact with us regarding the status of various things along the way, and we went to her warehouse the week before to see all the flowers and centerpieces beforehand. She also worked with us to stay within our budget, which was fantastic! She never pressured us into getting something we didn't want, and went above and beyond in all aspects to help us have the perfect day. On the day of our wedding, she personally showed up to deliver the flowers to both the ceremony and reception venues and helped pinned corsages and everything, and they were all beautiful! I could not have been happier with anyone else, and I would highly recommend Expressions of Decor to everyone!

Shantay at Expression of Decor is wonderful! Flowers are not particularly important to me and therefore we did not allocate very much of our budget to this area of the wedding. When I first met Shantay I explained that we were working with a small budget and didn't need extravagant arrangements as we were doing our own centerpieces. She understood what I wanted and worked with me to find lower priced, but still beautiful, flowers in the colors I wanted. Even though our order was pretty small by wedding standards, Shantay still treated me like my wedding was special and deserved her full attention. The bouquets she created for me and my bridesmaids with roses, gerber daisys and hydrangea were absolutely beautiful and I adored the spray roses she used for the boutonnieres. I could not have been happier with the flowers or my experience with Shantay. I would highly recommend Expressions of Decor!

Gorgeous. Accessible. Friendly.

Shantay is awesome. She was so friendly to work with. She took my ideas and made them into the most beautiful wedding décor I have ever seen. I would recommend her to everyone. She is never without a huge smile and a hug. She was so encouraging and helpful, as soon as we met with her the first time I felt such a rush of relief that I was in good hands. This girl knows what she is doing. The decorations at our reception were out of this world gorgeous! I loved that she set up a preview table the week of the wedding so that we could come by and see exactly what we were getting. She showed us the bouquets beforehand as well. My bouquet was so lovely. I had been told by another vendor that I couldn't have my favorite flower (the flower upon which my entire theme was built) in my bouquet because it was "too deep". Balderdash! Shantay said of course I could have just exactly what I wanted, and it was perfect!

She gave me her cell phone number and was receptive to emails, texts, and calls around the clock. I wish I had another party to plan so that I could have her help me with the decorations! Fabulous!

Let me start by saying Shantay did an exceptional job! She took care of all our floral needs for a great price. The flowers were beautiful (I had fall colors). Her professionalism was top notch. She made my cousin's daughter feel special because she was initially not part of the wedding party, but when she saw the other girls getting flowers in their baskets, Shantay wrapped a single rose in a ribbon and it made her day!!

Shantay did AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING job with the flowers for my wedding! You cannot go wrong with Expressions of Decor!! The bouquets and boutonnières were so beautiful! And the reception HOLY COW! She brought my vision and dream for the reception to life! She also decorated my cake with flowers and it came out PERFECT!! Just what I wanted! So many people came up to me to tell me how beautiful they thought the tables and flowers were! And the gift table and escort card table - they were PERFECT! Shantay brought the room to life and made my reception a dream come true! I will always look back at those pictures with such fondness because it looked DAMN GOOD! And let's not forget her amazing and positive attitude! She was so much fun to work with and so easy! I never had a poblem getting in touch with her and she was always a delight! Shantay did an INCREDIBLE job....I had vague vision about what I wanted and Shantay took that vision and flew with it. She went above and beyond what I could have imagined. OUr colors were teal and brown and, as you can imagine, teal was NOT an easy color to find but Shantay worked hard and was able to find teal runners that matched the EXACT color we were looking for!! ON top of that, she helped us stay within our budget but offering flowers that different varieties that would still look beautiful without breaking the bank. We used her for flowers as well as linens and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. She is fantastic and has real gift, on top of that she is a great personality and very fun and easy to work with

Shantay does beautiful work! Flowers were my favorite part and I was most excited about them the day of the wedding and Shantay did not dissapoint. She knew exactly the feeling I was going for when I met with her the first time. You can not beat her price and you get so much for it. I would a million times over recommend Shantay. There will never be enough words to describe how wonderful Shantay is! She has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. She took our dream decor and made it a reality. She was great about working with our budget. I appreciate her patience with us! Our centerpieces were amazing! The colors blended just right. She knew exactly how much of each color, and each flower to add to the centerpieces to make them look fantastic. We had to make some last minute changes, and she was great about it. She made the changes and kept going. We are truly blessed to have found a florist who not only was budget friendly, but is also great at what she does. She is the only florist we meet with, and right away we knew she was who we wanted to work with. She decorated our cake table..and it was breathtaking. We showed her a picture as an example but she went above and beyond. Guests were memorized. They could not believe that real flowers were used. We could not have asked for a better florist. We will definitely recommend her to our friends.

Shante provided flowers and decor for my wedding. Before finding her I visited two other highly recommended florists that did not meet my budget needs and kept telling me what they could not do. Shante was professional and met my budget and exceeded my expectations. She loved my vision and even purchased new mecury glass to add to her inventory to match my decor. I would recommend her to any bride, she is personable and easy to work with, don't hesitate to contact this vendor!

Everyone raved about how beautiful the wedding was and much of the credit can be given to Shantay! The way that she transformed the space into exactly what we asked for was nothing short of magical. She turned ideas and magazine pictures into something real and tangible. Every expectation that we had was far exceeded by Shantay and her staff. Shontaye was extremely knowledgeable about flowers, interior design, and decorating. She won The Knots Florist of the year 2011. She was on time for all meetings and even volunteered to meet where she didn't have to. She responded promptly to all emails and phone calls. She was eager and ready to work. She even completed last minute request. I would definitely use her again for any other events. She was a pleasure to work with.

Best Florist Ever - I can't wait to have another party to through because I will definitely be going back to Shantay without a doubt. I visited about 6 florists before I went with Shantay and am so glad I booked her. The flowers at the reception were the most beautiful arrangements that I had ever seen - I had given her an idea of the colors/sizes I wanted during our initital touchbase and she was able to take my ideas and make them even better. I also ordered my linens/chairs/etc. through her and she was able to get me great prices on all of those compared to some of the others I had spoken to.

I had tons of compliments on how gorgeous everything looked. She went above and beyond when it came to the flowers - going as far as to even add some last minute candles/flowers around the venue the day of at no extra charge! I 150% recommend her!!

Expressions of Decor made our wedding look so amazingly beautiful and she worked within our budget to do so. You work directly with the owner and she is truly excited by her work and it shows with the final product. She created the most unique and beautiful flower bouquets for the bride and brides maids. She was prompt with her responses and professional. She was on time for the ceremony and everything looked amazing. We also enjoyed the center piece preview she did for us the week before the wedding. It made us excited to see the reception all set up. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist for any occasion.

Shantay did a fantastic job on the flowers and I received so many great compliments on them. She delivered them the day of and even drove all the way back from another wedding when she realized she forgot to give us the bouts and corsages. She was very willing to add on to my order about 3-4 weeks before the wedding when I realized I needed some aisle flowers. She was very affordable and has a great eye for design. I would highly recommend her for affordable, beautiful designs.

I had a tight budget for my wedding especially for floral arrangements. I knew I wanted them and the overall look I wanted, but outside of that, it was pretty blank. When I met with Shauntay, I had my pictures ready to show of the flowers that I liked and the arrangements I thought would be nice. She was extremely helpful in helping me to pinpoint the designs I wanted and the flowers that would bring this look to life. She made me feel that the look I wanted was very possible even with my budget. In the days leading up to the wedding, I visited the studio to view my bouquet and centerpieces. I was absolutely FLOORED at the products I saw. THe centerpieces were gorgeous!! Shauntay had even taken a pair of earrings I found and used them to decorate the handle of my bouquet!! Everything was beautiful, which was a great stress relief days before getting married. On the day of the wedding, my ceremony space was very simple, with draping and rose petals for decor. It was the soft and elegant ambiance I had hoped to play off the waterfall that was in the space. When I walked into the reception space, I was absolutely amazed! The centerpieces brought the elegance from the ceremony space indoors to the banquet area. The all white floral arrangements were a perfect highlight for our accent color Jade. As I sat at the head table and looked out to the guests, I was speechless....my dream wedding had actually happened!

Shantay was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire wedding process. She made herself available anytime I needed to speak or meet with her. My flowers were absolutely beautiful on the day of the wedding. I had a very tight budget, and she gave me a wonderful picture in my mind of what my flowers would look like on the day of my wedding, and she delivered above and beyond. I was blown away, and people are still talking about my flowers. I would 100 percent recommend Shantay for all of your wedding flower needs.

I found Shantay on a whim when she sent out an email blast and I am SO glad that I did. Not only are her prices the absolute most reasonable that I had found, she is such a pleasure to work with. She is excited about what she does and she is so fun to sit and chat with! I recommend her services to ANY bride that wants beautiful flowers but doesn’t want to break the bank to get them.

My wedding day was beautiful and it was because of Shontay,owner of Expressions of Decor. I wanted a theme of diamonds and pearls with simple elegance. How was I going to make this happen without going over my budget? Shontay made it happen! Having a theme of diamonds and pearls isn't cheap, but she worked with me on a budget that I felt comfortable with.

Shontay, is knowlegeable, professional and listens to the needs and wants of the bride. I couldn't afford a wedding with many flowers, and she suggested using candles. It was beautiful!!!! All of my guests even male guests are still talking about how beautiful the tables were set and the appearance that she gave the wedding.

Shontay is also creative. Shontay's first challenge with my my wedding was the colors that I wanted. The colors were eggplant, navy and champagne. I thought that I was going to have to give up my navy idea but.... Shontay said, "No, we are going to get all three colors in your wedding." Navy is one of my favorite colors and she included my navy color in the wedding by using navy for the satin tie backs of the covered chairs. The second creation was my bouquet. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful, she asked what my favorite flowers were and she included them in my bridal bouquet(tulips and lillies). The bridesmaids' bouquets are still the talk of the town and they were carnations with hanging pearls.

Shontay was worth every dime." Shontay is very competent and loves what she does. I highly recommend using Expressions of Decor for your flowers and decor needs for your wedding.

Shantay was a doll to work with. She provided visuals for each type of flower she recommended and this helped us out greatly as we are not familiar with the variety of flowers available. My bouquet was amazing and when a wedding guest decided to take it home with them because they loved it too (without consulting me), Shantay offered to make me a replica for my keepsake. Shantay did a great job!! There are no words to describe what Shantay did for my wedding day!! That is all people talked about was the flowers and table cloths. Professional, Great Prices, GORGEOUS flowers!!!! Shantay was excellent to work with. I didn't really know much about flowers and how to vocalize the vision I had in my head. Shantay showed me lots of pictures and made great suggestions during my meeting with her. The day of my wedding, I was blown away by my bouquet. Such attention to detail; it was absolutely stunning! I ordered wrist corsages for the women in my family that I wanted to honor. The came with bands that had lots of crystals on them giving them the appearance of being expensive and super elegant; however, everything was very affordable!! My only regret is that there was sooo much going on after my wedding that I neglected to get my bouquet preserved! I still have the GORGEOUS pics though. Again, GREAT vendor!

From the Groom: We did a lot of searching and met with 5 different decorators and Expressions was light-yeas beyond the others. No other vender spent as much time with us to determine our personal style, show us samples or pictures of everything she had, or was a creative as Shantay was. During the initial meeting Shantay blew our minds with her ideas and all the help she offered with all of her experience. From then till the wedding we had numerous questions that were all answered and fully explained. We had more than a few changes an each was received and handled perfectly. On the day of, the wedding and the reception hall looked superb! The garden for the wedding was laid out just as we had envisioned and the reception hall looked better than we could have imagined. All the little touches that were added that we didn't even realize really put everything over the top. Expressions of Decor was flawless, professional, charismatic, imaginative, and an exceptional value. I will recommend them for any and every even in the Dallas area.

Shantay was my dream come true! I met with two florists before I met her and after she saw my vision, I knew she was the one. One reason I fell in love with her is because she valued what I pictured. She was excited about it! She even through out suggestions of her own, that I loved, and we ended up using! She made the entire floral process easy. Shantay was fabulous! I was actually about to book with another florist before my appointment with her and changed my mind immediately after meeting with her. I knew nothing about flowers, but she totally understood what I wanted. She has multiple monitors so you can easily see what different types of flowers look like and she shows you tons of examples to figure out the exact look you're going for. She's also super fun and easy to work with! I'd definitely recommend her!
