Gorgeous work and wonderful person!
Karen did an absolutely beautiful job with both my ceremony and reception makeup and hair. I prefer understated makeup, and she perfectly succeeded in giving me looks that were subtle but still special and bridal. I particularly loved the updo she did for my ceremony. She's also a lovely person, and was a joy to chat with on the day of! Thank you, Karen! -

Amazing makeup and hair artist and even more amazing person!
Karen is an incredible makeup and hair artist!
I researched quite a bit when it came to finding a makeup and hair artist that would work for me. I was looking for someone who would be able to make me look like my best self on my wedding day. I did not want to have an overdone bridal South Asian look on my wedding day and I was trying to stick to a reasonable budget. I reached out to many makeup artists and many of them came out with ridiculous price ranges and crazy demands on when they could fit me in for a trial.
I finally found exotic looks by Karen and when we first spoke I could immediately was kind, responsible and easy going. She was able to come to my apartment for a trial and executed exactly what I was looking for in my bridal look. I hired her the next day for myself and 12 bridesmaids / family members.
On the big day, she was punctual and professional. The final look on the day-of was even better than what I expected and looked amazing! My husband told me I looked like a movie star :)
Karen also took care of my mom and mother-in-law who were really happy with their looks. With a multi-cultural wedding, all of the makeup looks came out flawless.
I would highly recommend Karen for your bridal look! -

She's passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. What I love best about her is that she focuses on enhancing your natural beauty and not making you look like someone your not. Karen delivered and met my expectations perfectly by giving me the look I wanted for my big day! I told Karen that I have oily skin and that's something we have to keep in mind since it will be a long day. My makeup stated intact and my skin didn't become oily like it normally does. That made me very happy!! I totally recommend Karen for all bridal services. -
User2120878 Sent on 05/05/2015When I went to Karen for a trial I was a bit nervous because all my previous trials with OTHERS were disastrous. But with Karen as soon as started talking to her, I knew I had found the person who would make me look amazing on my engagement. The thing I loved the most was that we were both on the same before I even explained the type of look I want. All I did was show Karen my dress and she was able to replicate what was in my mind. I LOVED LOVED LOVED my hair and makeup on the day of engagement. Karen made sure I was ready on time and made sure I stayed relaxed. I am not the type of person who likes makeup but throughout the night i was super comfortable. Karen also did my mom's hair and makeup. My mom loved her look. She made her look very elegant.
Karen thank you so much for making me look amazing. You are the best!!!

My beauty team updated me on their journey as they made their way to my home on my wedding day, and they were there even before I was ready. My make-up artist came prepared with calming music to do my eye make-up because she knew from my trial that my eyes tear. And like most brides, I was experiencing jitters at the thought of being married, but my make-up artist soothed me with encouraging words and offered me life-long wisdom about staying happy with my husband and our families. -
