Kept the party going

Loved working with Jimmie for our wedding reception. He kept the dance floor full all night. We wanted our guests to have a good time, and he helped us achieve this. Good variety of music played throughout the night. Would recommend in the future.

Magic mirror

We used Jimmis magic mirror and it was such a hit with our wedding guests! It was so much fun to have a different type of photo booth available for the guests! We were able to get a copy of them so we can blackmail our friends 😝💕. Thank you so much Jimmie for making the guests have so much fun!

We could not be happier with Exceptional Receptions for our wedding day! Jimmy was always responsive, professional and very easy to work with. We planned our wedding from another state and truly appreciated Jimmy's responsiveness and attention to details. He listened to our requests and gave excellent suggestions. A total pro! We got multiple compliments on the music and lighting, and the photo booth was a huge hit with our guests. Jimmy helped make our day smooth and stress free. We cannot recommend Exceptional Receptions enough!

Jimmie is seriously THE. BEST. I don't usually take the time to leave reviews on sites but am writing one because he was so great and because I know how helpful reviews were in our wedding planning process. My now husband and I carefully selected every song for every moment of our wedding day and Jimmie did a spectacular job making cuts/mixes of everything and making each moment and its music come to life. He also just had super great service throughout the process. He was extremely responsive, had a meeting and several phone calls with us at times that suited us, etc. As a young engaged couple we had no clue how you're really supposed to structure anything about a wedding day and Jimmie helped us organize and walk through everything about the timeline, his recommendations, was very honest with us about what to do and not do, etc. It was SUPER helpful as we didn't have an actual wedding planner, and I always felt less stressed out after talking to Jimmie and hearing his thoughts. He also used a format that we preferred for our (very specific) song selections (and list of all the songs we hate ha) and was just overall super accommodating and helpful. Last but not least, the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT thanks to his mix of songs, AND - and I still don't even know how he did this - he made this beautiful mix of our vows overlaid onto a favorite song of ours (our second pick for a first dance song) that he played toward the end as a surprise. It was SO special and I'll remember that moment, along with all of the other dancing and fun, forever. Thank you Jimmie!!

Jimmy was a great D.J. The moment the dance floor opened up all of our guests were dancing and they didn't stop! Jimmy does a great job recognizing what gets your guests moving and will quickly change a song if your guests start leaving the dance floor. Only once a song came on that disinterested our guests and he mixed in a song that turned everybody around and headed back to the dance floor. Jimmy personally doesnt do much talking or entertaining he simply lets the music do it's job!

Everyone loved the Magic Mirror! The album was a great replacement for a guest book and a fun way to have the guests write a little note to the bride and groom! Jimmie was great to work with too!

Jimmie at Exceptional Receptions was a dream to work with from the very start of the wedding planning process until the day of our wedding. He was very helpful in areas that we were clueless in. Extremely professional, organized, curtious and prompt with answering questions and getting back to us. He knew how to keep the party going when things started to slow down. Jimmie was amazing to work with and he made planning the music and lighting for our wedding incredibly easy. We let Jimmie know that we were doing a Sunday wedding to help save on costs, and he worked us to give us exactly what we wanted. We didn't have too much thoughts on what music we wanted, and Jimmie gave us lots of suggestions. In the end, we picked a few key songs and asked him to use his experience to provide the rest. Our wedding went flawlessly, and I was able to go worry free as Jimmie basically took the timeline into his own hands, and executed it to perfection. Incredibly flexible and easy to work with; highly recommended if you want a worry free wedding with great music and lighting!!

Jimmie was absolutely awesome! He listened to everything we wanted and knew exactly what to do to bring it to life! He worked with us to customize a package that was perfect for us, even making us a pumpkin monogram that fit our theme perfectly! He listened to what music we wanted to have and what music as not allowed! He was very quick to answer every question I had, which while planning a wedding can put you at ease! Our introductions for our bridal party were awesome and still get complimented on them. He puts in the time and effort and really works with you to make your wedding what you want! I'm so glad we got

I have to say, when we finally decided on Jimmie for our DJ services, we weren't totally sure what to expect. We were going back and forth with other DJs who were a little cheaper, but decided to go with him and we could not be happier! We did not just get a DJ, we got a service that made our reception one of the best ever! We've been to weddings where the DJs were terrible and it truly has a major affect of the atmosphere. No one was dancing. The only thing I remember from those weddings is the terrible music. We've gotten more compliments on our DJ than any other aspect of our wedding. One friend told me she didn't stop dancing for 3 hours and that she hasn't danced that much in years!

First off he is extremely organized. He created a web login where we could add music, dedications, do not plays, etc. He skyped with us several times to make sure he got every detail right. His music choices were perfect. He did not interject too much and kept the flow of the party the entire night. He used our logo (from our invitations) and was able to project it above our bar which everybody thought was really neat. The video love story was something we weren't totally on board with, but decided to just go for it. After we filmed it, we were both nervous to see it (especially in front of 160 people), because neither of us love being on camera. His editing was amazing! Everyone absolutely loved it, including us! My mom was in tears. People said they had never seen anything like it and it made the night memorable for them. He was fantastic and we cannot say enough great things! He even worked with our photographer and they were able to get photos from our ceremony from that same day up in our slide show! It was so neat! Thank you so much for all your hard work! You made our reception a blast and people are still talking about it today, almost a month later! According to our guests, our wedding was dubbed one of the best many had ever been to! :)

Jimmie was amazing!! He put together a wonderful love story that we thought we did not want to use because we both felt we did awful. He played slide shows of pictures all night long. The whiskey barrels he let us rent fit perfectly into our country themed wedding. The mirror photobooth and his dj services is what kept the party going all night long!! I would recommend jimmie malone to make your night as special as ours was!

If you're looking for the finishing touch to your big day, look no further! Jimmy is absolutely amazing. I couldn't picture our wedding without him. We used Jimmie for the entertainment at our wedding in August. He was very professional and very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The lighting and special effects that he offers is wonderful. We loved the monogram that he created for us, the picture slideshows, the way that his uplighting syncs with the music, and we can't forget the dancing on a cloud! We received SO MANY compliments about Jimmie. He preformed an ice breaker at the beginning of the reception, everyone said it was a blast and that they had so much fun. I am so happy with our decision to go with him and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ and special effects for their wedding. Thank you, Jimmie!

Jimmie just recently DJ’d our July 2016 wedding. His planning tool and attention to detail showed that he knows what he’s doing- so helpful during the wedding planning process. Beyond that, on wedding day we had a rocking time! He took the songs we requested and the energy from our guests and mixed such a fun dance set our guests had the best time! We were on the dance floor the entire evening. We highly recommend Jimmie for your future events! He will not disappoint!

One of the best DJ's in the Binghamton area! Not only provided music, but also entertained, kept the vib up all night, as well as did a fantastic job putting together our love story, created our first dance, as well as put on an amazing slide show! Thanks to Jimmie for keeping the energy levels high on the dance floor as well as providing Hollywood Style Photobooth that was a huge success! The full package with the uplighting and EVERYTHING is worth every cent since Jimmie will go above & beyond to make your wedding a fairy tail for any bride!! AMAZING! Jimmie Malone was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for. He provided music, lighting, a photobooth, and some photo/video services. He created the most beautiful love story video that brought all of our guests to tears (including my best friend who never cries!). He gave us a lot of attention, answered all of our emails very quickly, and easily made some last minute changes at our request. We are so grateful to him; he made our day so special!!

Jimmie was incredible to work with. He met with us and got to know us, we put him in charge of all our music and he just nailed us to a T. There wasn't a second where our dance floor was jam packed. He also brought the photo booth along which we were hesitant about but am so glad he talked us into it! Guests had so much fun and so did the groom and I!! Jimmie at Exceptional Receptions was ABSOLUTELY fabulous!! We saw he had wonderful reviews & decided to give him a call. Jimmie was so professional & attentive from literally day one - he always responded to my emails & calls within MINUTES! My husband & I were looking to have a very modern, elegant "barn-wedding" (the only thing "barn" about it was the technical barn itself!) & we were a little overwhelmed at first about doing the planning ourselves! I was SO excited to find out that Jimmie could offer so much more than your basic DJ package - he offered several different options & (after meeting him) we immediately went with his "all inclusive": ceremony music/mic-ing, reception/cocktail hour DJ-ing, uplighting, photobooth, MULTIPLE slideshows on big screen televisions, & the biggest hit of the night which was our "Love Story" video. He was a one-stop-shop! Jimmie is incredibly tech-savvy & that really made the difference!! He offered to create slideshows for all of our special dances - we simply uploaded the photos and he put everything together for us! We also uploaded hundreds of personal pictures which he played as a slideshow throughout the night :) The photobooth was wonderful because his attendant put together a scrapbook in real time of all the pictures taken & Jimmie was able to stream them as a second slideshow!! His "Love Story" video was arguably everyone's favorite part of the night - he interviewed my husband & I separately about our relationship & edited the footage to create a funny, touching story of us which he played before our grand entrance :) EVERYONE loved it!! I CANNOT say enough good things about Jimmie - uplighting was beautiful!! I can't believe he did it all! He is an incredible DJ and MC - he is SO talented at what he does. He knows exactly when & how to engage an audience & when to step back. He can do as little or as much as you'd like. You should 100%, without a doubt, choose Exceptional Receptions! Best decision we ever made!

Not all DJs are the same! We really can't say enough about Jimmie!He provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We got many, many compliments on our DJ from our guests. Our reception was in a remote area but Jimmie is prepared for everything! He is very organized and gives you access to a website to use to plan all the music needs. And believe me that there is more to that part than you realize. You want someone there to help you along the way. My family is not the easiest group to keep managed for the entrance but Jimmie was able to do it! (That is a feat in itself) We went with the photobooth for the reception and my suggestion, if you are on the fence about it, GO FOR IT. It was so much fun! There is an option for an album for the duplicates to be put in and have the guests sign. It is priceless!

Jimmie did an excellent job at our wedding! He personalized our event to match our wants and needs. He allowed for as many planning meetings as we needed and was very professional. The video love story he created was phenomenal and many guests stated it was their favorite part of the reception. Throughout the evening, Jimmie kept the reception moving well and guests entertained. He has as excellent ability to gauge the audience and mesh what they like with what the bride and groom like.
It was an easy choice for us to book Jimmie after we saw how special and tailored he made each of our sister's weddings four years earlier. He has yet again proven his excellence to us at our wedding and he has continued to broaden his high quality services. He not only provided the music but he was the MC of the event, created a personalized love story video from interviews with the couple, displayed picture slideshows for the guests, and provided lighting and a monogram! Jimmie is much more than a DJ and we highly recommend Exceptional Receptions!

We can't begin to praise Jimmie enough for the amazing job he did as DJ for our wedding! Throughout the whole planning process up until the big day, Jimmie was extremely professional and quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns. As two people who had no clue what we were doing while planning a wedding, Jimmie gave my husband and I lots of great suggestions and input - he clearly knows what he is doing! He has a useful client website that lets you keep track of all of your important songs as well as "must play" and "do not play" lists, and you can choose songs that you want played during the cocktail hour, dinner, and for dancing. Jimmie kept everything flowing smoothly at our reception and made sure to communicate with us and our other vendors throughout so that everyone was on the same page. He coordinated the newlyweds game which was a huge hit, and his playlist kept everyone dancing throughout the whole night. He even got people on the dance floor who we didn't think would dance! All of our guests are still talking about what a great time they had, and we owe a huge part of that to Jimmie!

Jimmie is the best! He made the whole reception unique, fun, and memorable. Many of our guests commented just the same. He plays great music and keeps the party going all night. More than that, his other services and games were fantastic - photo booth is the best we've ever seen, newlywed game is creative and a riot later in the night, and he does a wonderful job with introductions and a "love story" if you choose to do so. We were running a little bit late visiting our tables and he kept us informed with the timeline and was flexible with the night. It's hard to imagine any better experience at a wedding reception.

This event was for a wedding, not a sweet 16!
Jimmie was absolutely amazing! He was very easy to work with and was incredibly helpful throughout our entire planning experience. We left some song choices at our wedding up to him and he did not fail at pleasing! His Slideshow services were a big hit and we have family asking for them because they couldn't stop watching. Guest requests were played very quickly at the reception. He kept us on a great schedule and approached us when we needed to do the cake cutting, dances and garter toss. Jimmie was highly recommended to me by another DJ company early on in the planning process. After visiting his website, reading the reviews, and speaking with him I knew I had to have him represent us on our special day. I really appreciated Jimmie's attention to detail and his obvious love for music most of all. It's rare to find a wedding vendor who cares as much as Jimmie does. His love for his craft can be seen in every aspect of the wedding day. A fantastic personal touch was our customized love story that he reads before the new husband and wife are announced. It was so special to hear the story of how we met told to all of our guests as well. My expectations were surpassed when at every moment of night I could look around and see all of the guests smiling and dancing the night away. You could tell that there was no where else they would rather be. Jimmie was the Master Of Ceremonies for my wedding on July 12, 2014. We met with Jimmie 3 times before our big day. He did an excellent job informing us what we would except at each meeting. One of the many things I liked about him was he stated, "At each meeting, I don't want to go over more than an hour, hour and a half, and only focus on 1 thing at a time. Because then it becomes work and not play." We created a video love story and he did an excellent job interviewing us. He was very professional and honest. If we said something in the story that could have been said better he would do a retake. We were very comfortable and STRESS FREE throughout this entire process! Jimmie also offered us an online account where we could create ideal play lists for our wedding day. We could choose songs for specialty dances, dinner hour, cocktail hour, and the dance portion. Jimmie was always quick to respond to emails within the hour and he was very flexible with meeting arrangements. The wedding day he worked very closely with our Photographer to be sure he was ready for all of the special events. He also gave us a heads up before he was about to announce anything. I never felt stressed and I completely trusted him with running the evening. I still get comments today about how great our wedding was. All of them mentioned how much fun they had dancing, and whenever they wanted to take a rest from dancing, they couldn't because the songs kept getting better! The dance floor was packed ALL night long, it was never empty. I would recommend Jimmie to anyone for any event. He is very organized, professional, and certainly knows his stuff and gives you ideas of how to make your day the best it can be.

We used Exceptional Receptions by Jimmie Malone for our Photo Booth at our reception - what a treat!! Our guests absolutely loved the added fun experience, and my husband and just loved going through our scrapbook/guestbook of photos and notes from our guests. We also received the digital files as well, which made it super easy to share electronically with everyone.

Jimmie was so helpful throughout the process, and his employee who actually worked the booth at our event was top-notch.

Would recommend again and again!!

Jimmie was an outstanding DJ. We met with him 3 times before our wedding, and with each meeting we left feeling completely confident that our wedding music was in great hands. If you have ever planned a wedding before, you will know there are certain aspects of the wedding that leave you feeling uneasy or worried that something could go wrong. We never felt this way with Jimmie, it is very obvious that he knows what he is doing and he is extremely professional. During the planning process, anytime I had a question, he would quickly respond to my e-mail and he always answered my phone calls. I never had to wait around for an answer. Although I had great expectations going into our wedding day about how well Jimmie would do, I could have never asked for the performance he gave that night. The music was PERFECT and he kept the crowd dancing all night. I got so many compliments on our DJ, and they were very deserved. Not only was the music perfect, but the photo booth was awesome and everyone loved it. My wedding night was absolutely perfect and a huge part of that is because we hired Jimmie Malone as our DJ. If you ever need a DJ, I would highly recommend you hire Jimmie. You will not be disapointed!!

Jimmie was AMAZING!!!! The lighting worked perfectly with all the decor of the room. I had gotten complements from my photographer that beautiful just didn't cut how wonderful the room looked. The slideshows were a hit, and so was his intros to the bridal party we worked on!!!! He was a rock solid dj the whole night. Music was played that we wanted and if it was something we really didn't want he'd ask first. Communication was always prompt and I am so glad we went with him!

We used Jimmie Malone for our recent May wedding. He was always quick to respond to any calls and emails that I sent him. My husband and I met Jimmie in person at his office which had a very legit set up with his up-lighting and state of the art equipment. We had a very thorough meeting and he went through every detail with us. It really helped make the whole day be able to run smoothly and without hiccups. Which really made is easier on myself! Jimmie put a lot of stress on the flow of the wedding and making sure the energy was up-keeping guests (and myself) happy and not feeling any "down times" where people don't know what to do or what's going on. My husband and brothers (who are more techy than myself and also picky when it comes to sound systems were very impressed by the equipment and sound that Jimmie provided). For me what was important was good sound, having the music of my choice played, and having my friends and family on the dance floor all night. All of this and more happened at my wedding, we had an awesome time! We were very happy and would definitely recommend Jimmie Malone to anyone looking for high class service!

Jimmy was so great! From the time I called to book him until he packed up after the wedding he was awesome. He kept us on track with making our music lists. My husband and I work for Jimmie as attendants with many of his events. As a wedding gift, Jimmie let us use a photo booth and many up lighting lights to use at our reception. Our guests loved the photo booth and all of the props! We also had many compliments about how the up lighting complemented the venue and our decor.

Working with Jimmie Malone was a wonderful experience. We were on a tight budget so we were unable to add any extras except additional time for the ceremony music and an extra hour of music at our reception. We spoke with Jimmie over Skype while we were planning our wedding from England. We knew right away that he was the DJ for us. He was laid back and very easy to work with. We met him in person at his office in July to go over all of our options. We used the on-line schedule planner and added music that was a must, a definite no play and play if requested. It was so easy to use. On our wedding day the music was exactly what we pictured and our guests stayed on the dance floor all night. Amazing job, Jimmie - thanks again!

Jimmie Malone was worth ever single penny! Between TV screens, Up-lighting, photo booth, monogram, slide show and video production, Jimmie made it his personal responsibility to make sure that our guests had an exceptional time, and they did! The up-lighting completely set the mood, and would have been enough had there been no other decorations. Our planning sessions, allowed Jimmie get to know exactly what we wanted, and then he executed it exactly. Our wedding was so personalized to us, that our guests felt special, and told us so. On top of all that he is flexible professional and very easy to work with! Jimmie has a lot of unique services and ideas, We couldn't have been happier!

We have nothing but positive things to say about Jimmie and his crew! For our wedding we had the photobooth, lighting, a monogram, and video screens. Jimmie and his crew were so easy to talk to and professional. They gave many suggestions and tried to help you develop the best package for your event. He worked with us and we ended up having exactly what we wanted for a very reasonable price. The photobooth was a huge hit! Our guests loved it and couldn't stop talking about it. We had guests from Italy attend that had never seen such a thing, and they had a blast and a very memorable experience! The staff that attended the wedding were dressed professionally and very personable. They were very polite and helpful in the process. We created a slideshow for our first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance. All we had to do was upload the pictures and Jimmie did the rest. It was very easy and created a wonderful personable effect at the wedding. We had a perfect day thanks to Jimmie and his crew!

Words cannot describe what an amazing DJ Jimmie Malone was! From the first time I said I had interest, on his website, he contacted me within the half hour! He was more than willing to take meetings according to our schedules. From the meetings, to the wedding, he was more than helpful! He helped with music selection, had an awesome photo booth (which the guests greatly enjoyed), and overall, made my wedding go very smooth. We didn't have to worry about timing in the wedding (i.e. garter toss, bouquet toss), he took care of that.

It's been a few weeks since my wedding and every time I hear from a wedding guest one of the first things they rave about is our DJ. Jimmie literally kept the dance party going from the moment the lights went down until we had to get people on the shuttles to the after hours party! My husband and I aren't huge music fans so we only had a couple ideas but Jimmie was able to run with them. Beyond the music, the uplighting he provided made the tent at our venue look amazing and it added an awesome element to the photographs from the reception. We also made the very wise decision of getting a photo booth through him and our guests LOVED it. We now have a fantastic album of those pictures as well as a CD of all the images which is absolutely hilarious. It was great to have those right away - we looked through them the minute we got home since we knew we wouldn't see our professional photo for a bit and it let us see how much fun our guests had. Finally, he was very professional with some of our family members who had really random yet insistent requests that he smartly ignored! If you are looking for a DJ who won't be on the microphone all night, has great taste in music, is reasonably priced, responsive, and is an all around great guy - you have found your man!!

Jimmie lived up to our expectations 100%. He was extremely professional, flexible and hard working to give us the best experience at our wedding. He was great about taking our suggestions and running with ideas that we had that he could work with, but was also amazing at understanding the pulse of the reception and the guests and making the music choices enjoyable for everyone.

Because of Jimmie our wedding day was nothing short of amazing! He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure everything was going smoothly throughout the wedding. Our guests varied in age and he was able to keep them on the dance floor all night! The photo booth was also a huge hit we loved watching the photos pop up on the video screens throughout the night and hearing all the "oooh's and ahhh's". We also took advantage of Jimmie's uplighting... it completely transformed the room and we received tons of compliments! Jimmie is absolutely great to work with, my husband works on the road and he did whatever he could do to accommodate the two of us! Jimmie deserves more than 5 stars in our opinion, he definitely made our wedding day memorable!

Jimmie Malone was EXCELLENT to work with. He was incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process and was very willing to work around our busy schedules to set up meetings and consultations. He had wonderful ideas and did a lot of extra work on the side to make our day extra special. He included personal slide shows, a beautiful monogram, great entertainment ideas, a personalized photobooth scrabook and much more. He also provided exceptional entertainment, beautiful and elegant uplighiting and a fabulous photobooth. The entire night was filled with dancing. Our reception ended at 11pm and our guests still didn't want to get off of the dance floor. I will definitely be using Jimmie again for all of our events and I would recomomend his business to anyone that is looking for a personable, professional, and creative DJ in the future.

Jimmie was so easy and fun to work with. My husband and I wanted to avoid a "cookie cutter" wedding and wanted to add our personal touches on each part of our night and Jimmie helped us do that and execute it flawlessly! From the start of our planning, (we live in NC and got married in NY) he was willing and able to accommodate us from afar. He skyped with us and always made himself available for any questions and concerns as we planned. He always got back to me really quickly! We had ideas of our own but he also let us know of some awesome ideas that he came up with as well. His website allows you access to tons of ideas and it is very easy to pick music from his selection when we were planning. Jimmie did the ceremony music and microphone for the ceremony, cocktail hour music, lighting in our reception tent, provided an awesome high quality photo booth, reception music, fun/unique games and touches throughout the night and was a great master of ceremonies. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding and although we were blessed with a wonderful venue as well, we know that Jimmie's services made our night that much more memorable. Our guests keep telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and we know that we owe a huge thanks to Jimmie for helping us make it a success! His prices were very comparable to other DJs in the area and he was certainly worth every cent, he is outstanding!

Jimmie was professional, nice and fun! We rented the photobooth and he was able to get all of the guests excited about taking fun pictures (even the older crowd put on the fun props) and made sure my husband and me were able to get a few shots. At the end of the night he compiled all of the pictures into an amazing photo album. It was so much fun to look at the next morning and reminisce!

Overall we were extremely pleased with Jimmie and his ability to make our reception more than we could have expected. Jimmie Malone of Exceptional Receptions was a pleasure to work with and helped to make our wedding day perfect. He was very professional. He took care of the music at our ceremony, uplighting, slideshows, and amazing DJ at the reception. He even worked with our photographer and displayed pictures of our wedding on dual screens during our reception. When choosing a DJ it can make or break your reception. After attending a wedding that Jimmie provided his services at there was no doubt in our minds we needed to meet with him for ours. During our meetings with Jimmie he was very flexible with our schedules, responsive with calls and emails and creative with helping our reception run smoothly and fun.
Not only did he play every requested song we had discussed, he also chooses the right music for all guests, our dance floor was full the whole night. Also, we would highly recommend the photo booth- the line for photos lasted the whole reception and the quality of photos were excellent.

Jimmie did an amazing job as our DJ at our wedding. Choosing him was one of the best decisions we made. From the very first time we reached out to Jimmie, he impressed us with his responsiveness, professionalism and flexibility. He listened to what we were envisioning for our wedding and worked hard to make it a reality. We were planning our wedding remotely and didn't meet Jimmie until the wedding day, but he made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. He was always just an email or phone call away -- and he was one of the most responsive vendors we worked with, often replying to our emails within the hour.

On the day of the wedding, Jimmie completely blew us away. He orchestrated every part of our wedding smoothly and seamlessly. The weather that day was really unpredictable, and he did an amazing job of managing the uncertainty while keeping things moving. He coordinated behind the scenes with our venue and other vendors, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Jimmie also kept the dance floor packed the entire night, incorporating the songs we wanted to hear as well as songs our guests requested. He provided uplighting for our dance floor as well as a big TV to project a slideshow, both of which worked wonderfully.

We truly loved working with Jimmie. We'd choose him again in a heartbeat!

Jimmie is a true professional and you can tell he loves what he does. He took the extra steps to ensure our reception was seamless. Our guests loved the presentation of the pictures on the slide show and especially loved the music; he kept the crowd dancing all night! My new husband and I are what some would consider music "snobs" and we didn't want your typical wedding reception music... Jimmie worked with us on what we were looking for in order to make our wedding night unique to feel like "us", the reception flowed well and our guests had nothing but positive things to say all night. One of my biggest worries when planning our entertainment for our wedding was that no one would dance and we'd have a boring reception. Turns out I was silly to worry about this with Jimmie Malone. Our reception was an absolute blast!!! Everyone -- from small children to grandparents -- was on the dance floor all night. People were visibly disappointed at the end of reception because they were having so much fun they didn't want to leave. And this was all thanks to Jimmie. He played a great mix of songs and really helped the evening flow smoothly. Our guests also LOVED the photo booth. And the scrapbook from the photo booth is the best keepsake -- we laugh every time we look at it!

We could not imagine having our wedding without him. We have had so many amazing compliments from our guests about how great our wedding was and how they can't remember the last time they had that much fun at a wedding. We could not have pulled it off without our DJ.

Jimmie is very professional and creative. Cermony, Cocktail hour and reception music, our monogram and up lighting were absolutely superb. We opted for the photo booth as well which has been a great memory for all. Not once did this perfectionist of a bride and laid back groom stress over these details as we knew it would be flawless and seamless.

We could not have pulled off our picture perfect moment in time without the help of Exceptional Receptions by Jimmie Malone.

I know Jimmie has amazing reviews on here, but I was still nervous. People are right, he exceeds expectations.

Worth every penny. Don't skimp on your DJ, can really make or break a party, and he totally made it.

Also, got the photo booth, hesitated on getting it, never should have, people loved it, and I've loved seeing people's picture from it.

Hire Jimmie! You won't regret it.

We are so happy we decided to work with Exceptional Receptions by Jimmie Malone. Jimmie did an amazing job with the photo booth at our wedding. It was a huge hit and all everyone kept talking about all night and still weeks later. I have been asked several times already for all the information so our guests can book with Jimmie for their future events. We love the scrap book with all the photo booth pictures it turned out great and is hysterical to look through. Everything was great. The guests loved the photo booth. My only regret is that we didn't have you do everything from DJ to decor. Having one person would have been eaiser. The guest loved being able to email the photos and see them the next day. Also having the gallery available is fun to look back on all the ones that didn't make it in the book (our guests took tons of photo's). Your the best!!

When I was planning my wedding, I was searching for places to rent photo booths. At the time, it wasn't well known so they were pretty scarce. I had contacted Jimmie to see if he had this option, or knew of someone in the area that did. He had stated he wasn't sure he wanted to venture into that business and gave me a name of a colleague in the area. After a few days, Jimmie contacted me and said that if I was serious, he would go ahead and purchase the equipment. I said absolutely and let me tell you, it was the BEST decision that was made and was completely worth the money! He was so easy to work with and the staff he provided was excellent. There was always a line waiting as everyone loved it and wanted more and more chances to take photos. We had a table set up near by so guests could make a page for us to put in an album. It was funny to get the disc of all the photos from the night and to see how many times guests went in and how creative there were...even my 74 year old father was in numerous times with all his childhood buddies! To this day, everyone still talks about what a great idea it was and how much fun. We laugh at the pictures all the time! I have to thank Jimmie for taking the leap of faith and purchasing the equipment! I highly recommend him and his service to all the future brides and grooms out there...or even those just having a party! :) Thanks Jimmie!!!

I won a voice over at a bridal show, I was very nervous not only about doing the voice over but because I won it I was afraid it wouldnt be good because he wouldnt put much effort into it. But you would have thought I paid top dollar Jimmie did an amazing job and everyone loved the work he did. My husband was not an easy person to get to talk for the voice over but Jimmie pulled it off amazingly.

We were provided great services for our wedding. Everything exceeded our expectations. The up lighting and personalized monogram was beautiful and really gave the plain white tent an ambience that it was lacking. Our photo booth was a blast and the guests really have fun! It's a little extra entertainment for them and it keeps the experience fun and light. It's something for all ages. It's really fun afterwards to look through the scrapbook and see all of the fun that was had. The messages people leave you with their photos are priceless. And of course the DJ service was wonderful. He has such a large selection and if for some reason Jimmy doesn't have it, he will get it. We were also offered a voice over option for our first dance which I thought was a nice touch. And because we recorded separately what eachother had to say was a complete surprise. Jimmy has fun games to keep the party going and we took full advantage of everything offered. I would highly recommend all of the services offered! I really felt like this was somewhere in my budget that I shouldn't worry abt being frugal. People remember if they had a good time not what was on the tables and that is solely the DJ's responsibility. I was very happy with my decision.

Jimmie Malone provided us great service. The phto slide shows he prepared for our first dances were tear jerkers for all. Our grand entrance was also very unique and all out guests enjoyed it. The biggest hit was the photo booth. We had nearly 650-700 photobooth pictures taken and they were displayed on the big screen TVs That Jimmie provided. Althought his price was at the higher end, he provided us we great memories to last a lifetime.

Jimmie was fabulous to work with and I am very glad he provided our dj services and photo booth. Jimmie was very easy to get a hold of which is not always the case when working with vendors. He was very flexible as to how many times we met and when we met which was great with our crazy amount of appointments along with work schedules. I felt very confident heading into the day of our wedding with how the day was going to go and much of that had to do with what Jimmie was providing us. He personalized our wedding and made it memorable to us as well as all of our guests. The dance floor was packed the whole night and there was always a line for the photo booth. The uplighting, tv screens with pictures from the night, and the monogram on the dance floor are some of the highlights. We continue to get loads of compliments on our wedding and I thank Jimmie and his wife for everything they did.

The photobooth was the HIT of our wedding! The scrapbook that Jimmie's staff helped create is amazing! There are so many fun pictures in there- a great way to see how much fun people had!! The staff was amazing...friendly and helpful! The props were great! I would recommend this to anyone!

This is the one thing that we are glad we spent the extra money on.... I can't imagine a wedding without the photo booth..our guests just LOVED it .... I still look at the pictures everyday... Durring the planning process all emails where answered promptly and completely...the attendant at the wedding was so nice and helpful......... I HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!

Jimmie right from the start was professional and took every chance he could to get to know us. He wanted to make sure we knew everything he was capable of providing us for our wedding to make it an event we/guests will never forget. His lighting system is amazing! It completely transformed our room into a magical place! His online planning tool is very helpful to make sure you have all the details covered. Every step of the way any questions we had he was always prompt in answering emails and phone calls. Never any issues. The week before our wedding he stayed on the phone with us for two hours just to make sure he had everything perfect and all the details covered. When the wedding day came he was more than helpful! We cannot thank him enough for making sure we were happy! Our guests danced from beginning to end and I would hire him again in a second!

We used the photo booth for our wedding, people could not stop talking about it weeks after. There was a constant line of guests wearing goofy props that were provided for them. The quality of the pictures exceeded my expectations, they came out so good. We now have a scrap book that we used as our guest book. Everyone was happy to keep there own copies and give us one too! We look at the book a lot, it shows how much fun and happy everyone was to be there with us. I highly recommend using a photo booth for ANY event! Looking back on the pictures it really makes us laugh and also helps us to know we made the right choice by renting the booth! Thank you so much :):)

Jimmie was so great to work with! He never stopped impressing us with his professionalism and creativity from our very first meeting up until our wedding day. It is so apparent that not only is he very talented, but he also truly loves what he does and cares about you as a client. We loved Jimmie's use of technology in planning sessions and at our reception. Jimmie was able to incorporate some of our own videos and media into our introduction and first dance - it was perfect, even better than we envisioned! We also used his photo booth services - definitely a hit, it was a blast! His new uplighting system is incredible - it made all the difference in the world in our venue. It was just stunning!
