Wow, where do I begin?!
Back in 2019, we hired Elisa for our May 2021 wedding. At the time, the Covid-19 pandemic was nonexistent and we planned to have our 150 person wedding in Falls Church, VA. As Covid restrictions began to loosen up for restaurants, entertainment facilities, sports, etc approaching the wedding we thought we would be in the clear. However, the wedding industry was told they could not have more than 25 people in a private gathering in VA even if following proper CDC guidelines.
Elisa and her team had to inform my now husband and me of the bad news, knowing that it would break our hearts. However, Elisa told us gracefully and we worked together to come up with a solution to allow for our 150 guest list and to keep our wedding vision alive.
We ended up ditching Plan A and switching locations to Plan B in Martinsburg, WV with only 2 months to plan. Elisa and her team worked tirelessly to help us pull off the last-minute switch. We were able to coordinate with all our wedding pros and have them relocate to our new venue. With Elisa's help, organization skills, and can-do attitude, all wedding pros were where they needed to be and when they needed to be there to have the wedding timeline executed to PERFECTION!
Even with having to go with ceremony Plan C on our wedding day due to inclement weather, Elisa and her team made it happen! Her attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to coordinate large crowds allowed Austin and me to relax and have the time of our lives on our wedding day!
If you are looking for a coordinator who advocates for her brides + grooms, can make miracles happen, is extremely organized, and can take the stress off of the family and couple, then Elisa from Exceptional Events by Elisa is your go-to girl! I cannot thank or recommend her highly enough!

Catered to all of our needs
We got married during the pandemic, and Elisa was very helpful with the process. She provided us with weekly updates and kept us informed as circumstances continued to change. After ultimately deciding to have our wedding and limiting the guest list, Elisa helped to discuss our decision with the venue and worked to make sure all of our needs were met. Her assistance was invaluable in helping us to organize a great and safe wedding. Our guests said it was the event of their year! -

It was a pleasure working with Elisa, Myiram and the rest team for a Quinceañera on June 15, 2019. My wife, Emilly, and I (Will ~ DJ Hercules) of Torrchez Entertainment are honored to be part of this vendor team. They were highly professional and kept us abreast of all the changes before and during the event. The decor team did an excellent job converting the venue space for the Quinceañera, and the rest of the team kept up with all the changes. Elisa was incredible to work with. She opened my eyes to so many things that I didn't even know I had to do! Elisa really helped us by making a timeline of when specific things should be done by, pointing out the big versus small tasks, always keeping us calm and helping us stick to our budget.
Elisa's team was incredible to work with on our wedding day. Anything myself or my husband needed, they had it. They were always one step ahead of us, and looking back, we are extremely grateful for that!
We honestly could not have managed to have as perfect of a wedding as we did, if it weren't for Elisa and her team! -

She and her team are so accommodating, resourceful, classy and detailed, she and her team made every aspect of the wedding planning so smooth and detailed. My wedding was a year in the making and she was so organized with emails, folders and quotes always that she made everything so simple. Even though the first months of planning I was living outside the country she was able to squeeze the most meetings everytime I traveled to DC. She has great contacts, is very knowledgable about everything. My weeding was a complete dream!! I am so happy we were introduced and that she was our planner and if in the future me and my husband have other events to plan we would definitely call Elisa and her team!!

Ashley Sent on 11/20/2017We met Elisa at a vendor expo our venue hosted - she's a preferred vendor at 2941 Restaurant. We hired her for day of coordinating and she was AWESOME. Elisa was with us for all the scheduling towards the week before the wedding. She met with us at the venue to walk through the space and talk through each table with what we needed and where it needed to be - taking very detailed notes. She was also at our rehearsal to get everyone on time with their walks and the cues. She was fabulous during our day. There were some timing issue with some of the food and being behind schedule but she was extremely prompt in bringing it to our attention so we could make a decision about what we wanted to do. She helped set up and breakdown all of our decorations and was a key asset in working with the back of the house at the restaurant to ensure we stayed on track as best we could. She was a true blessing during our wedding and I'm honestly not sure how we would've gotten it all done without her help! -

Elisa joined "team Weberoni" one month before the big day, at which point I had a lot of ideas and unfinished projects. She set aside every single weekend to stay up till 1 AM+ with me - yard sale shopping, table arrangement planning, sign making, bow gluing and tying, etc. And on the wedding weekend itself, her hotel room was a present wrapping, thank-you card writing, favor making, chalkboard drawing wedding planning studio! I felt completely at ease and comfortable in her hands and I am so thankful to her for making our wedding everything I imagined, and more. We've since returned from our honeymoon and have gotten back to work - and I am still in a happy place thinking about how amazing my wedding was! If anyone is looking for an event planner - I recommend Elisa! THANK YOU! -

Elisa and her team helped plan our wedding in the midst of the bride being in another country. Through emails, FaceTime, and phone calls, Elisa and the couple planned the whole wedding. Just weeks before the wedding the bride met with Elisa for the very first time to finalize details and to walk the venue. It was an experience like no other, and the only thing that the couple would change if they could be super picky and re-do things is the flowers on the guest tables! (Wedding Bouquet and Boutonniere were perfect). -
