The best ever!

From the very beginning of planning our wedding, my husband and I knew we wanted a hybrid music experience. We loved the energy and excitement of live music, but there were also a few songs we knew just had to be played by a DJ. After some research, we came across Excel and one other option, but after our initial meeting with Jason, it was a no brainer. We knew we had found our band.
Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with. He truly listens to your vision and takes every bit of input to heart, and he made sure every single detail we asked for was executed perfectly. He was always available, which is priceless for a stressed bride like me, and is genuinely kind and easy to work with. Jason and his team are not only incredibly talented musicians, but true professionals who know exactly how to read a room and keep the energy going. One of our favorite moments of the night was when the sax player came out into the crowd. It completely elevated the energy and made the experience unforgettable.
I cannot say it enough how much our guests were raving about the music all night long. The dance floor was packed, and they played the perfect mix of songs that our parents loved while still keeping it fun and modern for us and our friends. We have already had two guests reach out asking for their information.
We could not recommend Excel enough. Their communication, professionalism, and genuine desire to give you the best night of your life truly set them apart. We are forever grateful to them and can confidently say you will not regret choosing Excel as one of your wedding vendors.

The team to trust

Excel Live was the highlight of our entire wedding. From the ceremony to the last song of the night, they were flawless. The musicians added such a sophisticated touch during cocktail hour, and once the reception started, it was a full-on party. Five stars isn’t enough for Excel Live!

We are still on cloud nine after our wedding, and Excel Live deserves so much of the credit. They perfectly captured the energy we wanted, elegant during dinner and an all out celebration once the party started. The musicians were incredibly talented, Jason kept everything smooth and upbeat, and the DJ had everyone from our grandparents to our college friends dancing together.

The team was professional, organized, and fun to work with from start to finish. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our night unforgettable and they absolutely delivered. Five stars isn’t enough for Excel Live!

Excel Live completely blew us away! From our very first conversation, they made us feel like our wedding truly mattered. The planning process was easy and stress-free, and the performance itself was unbelievable. The DJ and live musicians worked together flawlessly — every song hit perfectly, and the energy never dipped once.

Our guests didn’t stop dancing all night long, and we’ve had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We cannot say enough about Jason and his team! Almost every guest commented on how incredible the band was—but honestly, we didn’t need their feedback; we could see for ourselves. The dance floor was packed all night! The group played all of our favorite songs, brought amazing energy, and fully respected our “do not play” list. Best Band Ever!!

Excel Live was amazing to work with from the minute we reached out to our last dance and every step along the way. They were extremely responsive, professional, and made our day so special. Music was something that was so important to my now husband and I and we spent a lot of time researching and meeting with bands. Excel Live offers a different sound than a lot of the dj band hybrids out there, which was much more our vibe. They have a wide range of songs that they know and learned to play many of our favorites, even my instrumental request for a Taylor Swift song to walk down the aisle with. They were open and honest with what songs might be better as a dj only song if we wanted to capture the love for the original, and I appreciated that. We met with them several times, ironed out every detail in the timeline and they exceeded every expectation I could have asked for. We have already recommended them to several other couples looking to book a band next year and would recommend them to anyone. All our guests loved them and danced all night with us. My dad even danced so hard he said had to tighten his belt so his pants wouldn't fall down. Thanks for making our night so special!

Best Wedding Ever!

Jason and Excel Live were phenomenal!! The dancing at the end of the night was so much fun that the crowd kept calling for an encore. Let’s just say, we didn’t want the night to end. Jason was great to work with - excellent communication. He helped us create an itinerary and we worked with him to choose music for our ceremony. Everything was perfect. Excel Live delivers a SHOW

Everyone wants to ensure their wedding is memorable - not only for themselves, but for their guests. Our priority was making those memories on the dance floor with our friends and family.
We turned to Jason and Excel Entertainment to make that dream a reality - which they certainly delivered and then some. Our wedding night flew by as Excel seamlessly transitioned from one song to the next, putting on an unforgettable show. They played the all of the songs we requested, skipped the ones we did not, and read the room for the rest. No one left the dance floor longer than it took to use the restroom or grab a drink. As the night was coming to a close, we kept checking the time to do some mental math on how many more numbers we might have left. We simply did not want it to end. After the last song the crowd begged for one more. Jason and Excel obliged with an emphatic "F*!k it", and gave the crowd one additional song. It was amazing.

Jason truly cares about the quality of the performance they deliver. He worked with our venue’s constraints to make sure it could be done correctly without compromising any quality. The band controlled the flow and vibe of the night and it was flawless. Their DJ Band Hybrid is a unique and unparalleled experience. We could not recommend them more highly or be more grateful for the night they gave us!!

Dream dance party!

Leading up to my wedding, I spent my train commutes watching YouTube videos of Excel. They are so talented, and I could not wait to experience their brilliance on my own wedding day. I am happy to say that they did not disappoint! My wedding guests kept coming up to me asking where I found this amazing band! The dance party was non-stop! My favorite part was that Excel allowed me to make my wedding playlist reflect my musical taste - they even did a Fall Out Boy montage just for me! So amazing, life of the party!

Jason and the whole Excel team made our wedding music dreams come true. I always wanted a band and my husband wanted a DJ. We did not think this was possible until we talked to Jason. I didn't even want to eat dinner

Hire ExcelEntertainment, it's a no brainer!

A 5 star rating on Wedding Wire doesn't do Excel any justice, they deserves thousands more. When I first saw Excel perform at my friend's wedding three years ago, I was blown away by their performance. They delivered the kind of energy that just keeps the crowd going, and going, and going. Fast forward three years later to my wedding and it's like I stepped into a time machine, reliving that day when I first had the pleasure of meeting them. When my wife first asked me "Who should we hire as our entertainment?" I immediately and ONLY suggested Excel. It's a concert at your wedding

Livia has the most beautiful voice! This was legit like having a concert at our wedding -- it was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Dancing All Night

Excel had us dancing the whole time. I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the entire night. Livia's voice is amazing!!

Excel Live is AMAZING - booked online based on videos, were blown away by INCREDIBLE LIVE performance!

We are THRILLED that we had the opportunity to work with Excel Live! In all honesty, we found them through an Instagram hashtag, loved what we heard & saw online and so we asked if they'd travel down to Virginia Beach for us. Having never seen them in person, while we were feeling pretty confident that they'd be as awesome as they are in their videos and posts and as the reviews said, we were kinda going on faith that they'd be as legit as they looked.. but let THIS be your sign that they are EVEN MORE amazing in person than even what you see online!! We were immediately impressed with how responsive, kind, informative and just generally great Jason was over the phone, email, etc. as we were planning. He's incredibly organized and has a great online planning tool to make sure your requests, concerns, etc. are all clearly communicated and fully understood - down to the very finite detail (even how/when to announce which names, etc.). He also not only had insights and ideas on music, but also on lighting and design - turns out, Excel Live's lights are UNREAL and we have photos of our tent looking crazy cool with the addition of their lighting. Jason absolutely crushes the introductions, which isn't a small feat what with the pressure of pronouncing names correctly and in the right order.. there were some last minute changes to our announcements and I remember feeling physically relieved as we were waiting to be announced and I heard Jason cruise through the correct announcements with confidence and ease. In regards to this group's musicianship, goodness gracious this is one incredibly talented crew. They were better, and I quote, than any wedding band our guests had ever seen and the vendor's we've touched base with after the fact have echoed the sentiment that Excel is redefining and leveling-up what a wedding band can be. Our guests (mind you, we had an age range from 8 to 90 years old and the dancefloor was reflective of that!) "didn't want to leave the dancefloor," because they were having too much fun and each song was too good to walk away from! They surprised us with one extra last song - following their Take Me Home mashup which is legendary - of "Shout," and the crowd. went. wild. Absolutely epic. As seen in photos by our great photographer Emily Gibby! When planning, Jason was astute to notice that our venue closed at 10:30, which is so early! Before meeting with him, we had already planned to do an after party and had wondered if Jason's team could do it.. without us even asking, Jason asked if there was an after party planned and if we would be interested in a DJ. It was like he read our minds! Excel Live brought a second DJ set down for our after party and helped our best man host the most epic after party!! I had a friend who has been to a lot of weddings say that most after parties hope to live up to even part of the energy of the wedding.. but with Excel Live dj'ing, ours seemed to infinitely increase in energy the whole night! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing Excel Live was and our Virginia Beach crew is looking for excuses to get them back down here ASAP. Your wedding or event or whatever you're looking to book Excel Live for will be better than your wildest dreams if you book with Excel Live!!

Excel Live made my dreams come true at my wedding.

Thank you truly for everything. You were the DREAM VENDOR TO WORK WITH! I cannot get over the service we received! You always responded within an hour of any email I sent. You agreed to all my ridiculous requests. Sent me a few songs prior to our wedding for my husband and I to practice our dance and surprise violin performance. You played every single must have songs. You even played live my Miranda Lambert request (country song) that I really wanted and somehow kept people on the dance floor. You literally made the party and ensured people stayed on the dance floor. Between the up lighting which totally made the room, entertainment, monogram, additional lights, songs, music, and your vibe. YOU MADE THE WEDDING PERFECT! I truly felt life my reception was a fairytale and it was ALL because of you!

Every single person has reached out to express how incredible you all were and asked how you could possibly sing and play the songs we requested.

The only thing Geoff and I fought about during wedding planning process was do we get a band or DJ. And then we found you and neither of us had to compromise. ❤️❤️

Great DJ/Band

I would highly recommend Excel. My mother and I found them at a bridal expo in 2019, my wedding of course got postponed due to covid in 2020 until September 2021 and they gave us no problems AT ALL. They had the new date available so they rebooked no problem at no extra charge at all (they were the only vendor that did it with no extra charge). The price was so fair I thought they’d sing 2 songs and the rest would be the DJ but I was very wrong. They sang EVERY song and sounded perfect! Everyone was dancing the whole night. For the price I assumed they would only sing a few songs. Excel really knows how to make a wedding reception a party! I gave them next to no guidance as to what to play- I told them to make sure everyone’s having fun and that’s exactly what they did!! I would highly recommend them.

Go for the best!

Planning a wedding is stressful enough! From the day we met Jason at Excel Live, we knew we'd found our reception entertainment. The live music and DJ-ing was over the top great, and our family and friends said so many good things about these guys (and women).

Best hybrid band/DJ you can find

Jason and his team are absolutely incredible. Beyond amazing to work with and extremely professional yet totally down to earth and easy to talk to. He’s totally willing to work with you, however we loved just leaving it up to him to read the crowd. He nailed it!!! My guests couldn’t believe the uniqueness of it being a band and DJ. They are worth every dime and then some!!! If you hire them, your guests will definitely have a night they won’t forget!

Who doesn't love a party?

What a party!

We looked at reviews of many DJs, and checked out Excel Live because the reviews were very good. It was a good decision! Not only was Jason so easy to work with, he and his group really delivered for our reception.
The music was specially chosen for us, and the dance floor was full all night.

Best wedding band around!

I first saw Excel Live at a friend's wedding. I was blown away by the quality and professionalism. The dance floor was full. I had to have them for my wedding reception, and I am so glad I did!
Jason was amazing to work with, giving suggestions and making the decision-making process easier. I have been to weddings where the DJ was kitschy. Not Excel Live! The music was top-notch. So many guests raved about the reception.
I can totally recommend Excel Live...you will not be disappointed!

Excel Live is incredible!

We booked Excel Live for our wedding and it is hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding! Jason and the entire Excel team were incredible. The dance floor was packed the entire night and no one wanted the night to end. We even had a specific request to incorporate a few Polish songs into the night and Jason made it happen - and made it a hit! We are so grateful to have found Excel Live and have them a part of our day, it was a party from start to finish and our friends and family cannot stop raving about how amazing the music was. We cannot recommend Jason and his team enough!

The most dancing I've ever done at a wedding

I initially met Jason and his team at a wedding expo and they initially sold on my mom on their band with their very fun interactive booth. We hired them immediately! I communicated with Jason throughout the entire process who was professional, friendly and most importantly listened to us! The DJ/ band hybrid is really the best combo and it showed the day of our wedding. Who doesn't love some live music?? Our guests danced and sang up until the lights came on at the very end of the night. Everyone was amazed when Jason pulled out a megaphone to sing Mr. Brightside which made the cover sound like the original! What a genius idea!!!!
I truly feel Excel took our wedding to the next level! If you are looking for a wedding band that will give you the concert feel but keep the wedding moving Excel is it! The performance for the price is such an incredible value. I really like that Jason is the person you communicate with and also the lead singer. Many times I found that the person you communicate with "the front desk" is not your performer and there is sometimes a communication. Jason helped us personalize everything. The talent on this team is incredible! Hope to see Excel at a wedding again sometime soon!!

Absolute best!!

Jason & CO are the absolute best! I happened to stumble across them performing live at a wedding expos and knew instantly I wanted to book them for my upcoming wedding. I am so glad I did! Excel entertainment is best in class without questions. Because they’re a band/DJ hybrid, we really got the best of both world! I absolutely loved the live cover of our first dance song. It made the first dance feels that much more special and customized.
Jason was great at feeling the crowd and tailored music selections so that there was a little bit of something for everyone. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests with special shout out to the band.
It wasn’t easy pulling a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. But even under current circumstances, our wedding was a night to remember (and the all!)
I can’t recommend them enough!!

Jason is the best! Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. We had a sit-down meeting to discuss all our wedding details and Jason was pleasant and very easy to talk with. My husband and I felt 100% confident going into the wedding that he would do a fantastic job, and would play exactly the songs we wanted -- and he did! My husband really wanted to make sure our guests danced throughout the night, and Jason with his crew and band expertly read the room to keep playing the songs we wanted to hear. They “Excelled” our expectations

I told my wife I wanted to handle one thing and that was the entertainment. I love a band and a DJ. I was curious if there was a way to do both. Google passed me along to Excel. Going to YouTube watching videos I was blown away. I emailed Jason and he was very quick responding to me. I told him what I wanted and not only did he deliver but my wife and I felt that we were the headline of our concert. They played everything and Jason has a gift reading the crowd and had my guests dancing all night. You would not be disappointed. I even had one guest tell me that she wanted to get divorced from her husband and remarry him so they could have Excel haha. If you are torn between a band and DJ then you must go with Excel.

Amazing Job!!

Jason and his team did an amazing job at our wedding! Everyone loved the music and danced nonstop throughout the whole reception! We are so happy that we decided to go with his Dj/Band Hybrid! Our DJ was one of the most important vendor decisions to us, dancing/partying was a huge piece of our wedding so this hire was critical. Amazing!!!

Excel did an amazing job for our wedding!! With everything we had to plan, selecting our DJ/Band was by far one of the easiest choices. From meeting with us initially to helping us choose the package that was right for us (and let me tell you, they’ve got Options!!) to making sure everything would go how we expected, these guys blew it out of the water! We absolutely cannot thank Jason enough for such an amazing wedding this past Sunday. I have received nonstop texts about how much fun the night was and how perfect the music was. We had many special requests when it came to our first dance and wedding party intros and Jason went above and beyond to deliver. He was quick to get people up on the dance floor after dinner and was a fantastic emcee and the DJ Band hybrid was a must have! Pleasure to work with!

We had the privilege of working with Jason from Excel Entertainment and he is absolutely fantastic! He was very accommodating when it came to scheduling meetings and helping us create the timeline for our special day. The day ran so smoothly! He kept us on schedule throughout the evening but we never felt like we were just running through a chain of events. We totally enjoyed every moment of our special day and it was an added bonus that Jason was willing to go along with our corny song choices for a few special moments at the reception. Amazing!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ/Band experience than Excel Entertainment. Jason did everything we wanted and more to make our day perfect. Got what we wanted and more!

From the start of our wedding planning we knew we wanted Excel Entertainmet at our event. Jason was really personable and easy to talk to. When ever we had a question he was right there to respond. From the start of our wedding ceremony to the end of the reception they touched on so many emotions- it was amazing! The best out there

Excel Entertainment is the absolute best dj/band hybrid out there! We were looking primarily for a band, but when we found out that they offered a mix of live band with a dj, we were sold! We actually listened to about 8 other bands from NJ/NY in every price range and not one of them could close to the talent of Excel. We saw them perform live at a bridal show and their energy was off the charts, so it was a no brainer going with them. Jason and his team played everything from 90s pop to house music, keeping the energy at an all time high. They even learned songs that we wanted them to learn, and they killed it! Kudos to an amazing guitarist (Jason) and singer (Liv). Excel Entertainment is the best out there..thank you!

Amazing DJ/Band hybrid for the perfect wedding night!

A month after our wedding day, our guests are still raving about how amazing the music was at our wedding! Jason and the entire Excel team put on the most incredible wedding celebration for my husband and I at Mallard Island Yacht Club!

We first meet Jason at a bridal expo a year before a wedding still unsure of weather we should use a DJ or band for our special day. The hybrid DJ/band combo blew us away with the energy and unique sound, and we were so excited to work with them in the build up to our wedding day. Jason is amazing to work with! He is flexible and seeks to know and learn your style in order to craft the perfect performance for your day! When we needed suggestions, he worked with us to craft a playlist that meshed with our style, but also integrated the songs that were special to our families.

On the wedding day Jason took the lead and made sure our wedding ran smoothly, everyone at the party was up on their feet dancing, and our guests had a great time. We cannot recommend Excel enough, and know that they will be the best choice you make when planning your wedding day!

Spectacular!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jason from Excel Entertainment. From day one, Jason took the time to get to know my fiancé and I, and our tastes and preferences. He asked questions to clarify to make sure our day would be exactly as we intended. He even went as far as to send us song tracks anytime he thought we may like one. Excel Entertainment offers such a unique style of music..getting everyone on their feet til the end! I especially loved listening to some of our favorite electronic and house songs, with a live singer to go along and some percussion to give it a unique and awesome sound. Jason and his team at Excel do wonders together. From the moment we sent Jason the first e-mail for a quote, he was prompt, accommodating and answered all of our questions. Excel is top of the line!

Excel Entertainment put on a full, top of the line production. Thank you to the amazing guitarists, dj, singers (Jay and Liv), drummer, violinist, etc. for being so awesome at what you do! The music was excellent..we got the perfect mix of rock, club, pop, ballads, that we had requested and the dance floor was NEVER empty. Every single detail from the spectacular lighting to the sparklers going off at the perfect moments, made our night an unforgettable one. Thank you so much Excel Entertainment!!

Full dance floor all night!

My husband and I had 1 priority for our wedding day, which was to make sure that everyone was dancing the entire night. Thanks to Jay and the rest of the Excel Entertainment crew, our wedding wishes came true. I have never in my life seen such an elaborate and beautiful set up (lights, stage equipment, instruments...) for a wedding. The band kept the energy so high, from saxophone solos to Jay fully rocking out on the guitar. Thank you Excel Entertainment for providing us with an amazing dance party and a night we will never forget!

Best night of my life thanks to Excel!

Excel Entertainment was the best DJ/Band hybrid we could have asked for at our wedding reception! They did an awesome job understanding the type of music we wanted to play, and the song choices matched the flow of the reception perfectly. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and they played the perfect combination of songs that appealed to our entire range of guests. I want to give a shot out to the drummer, Will, who is beyond talented and kept the vibe very upbeat. Jay and his team are super professional and you will not regret choosing them!

Amazing Energy

Excel Entertainment was fabulous. I can't express how many positive comments were received from our guests about them. On an even more personal note, I greatly appreciated how Jay let me drop by his office and let me practice singing Al Greene's "Let's Stay Together". I surprised my wife with a solo at the reception...Didn't match the amazing singer Liv that was the singer of the band, but I think my wife still loved it. Thanks to the band for helping me sound awesome. You guys were the highlight of our day and I can't thank you guys enough!!

Off the charts!

We can't say enough about how fabulous Excel Entertainment was at our wedding. They stayed so true to our playlist and we were so happy that they were able to cater to the "latin vibe" that we wanted. They played all the salsa and merengue we requested, and Jay took the stage to sing some classic rock hits to cater to our other guests. Jay is so personable and a pleasure to work with. I immediately got such a friendly and professional vibe the moment we started planning with him. Thank you so much for such an amazing night!

You guys rocked!!

Jason and his team made our wedding such a memorable night. I cannot thank you guys enough! When we first started to plan and sat in his office, I could tell that he was very detail-oriented which was super important to us. You want a DJ company that wants to know every little detail about what you are looking for, and that's exactly what Excel Entertainment delivered. We made it known that we wanted our guests to feel as if they were at an exclusive concert, and the band did not disappoint. Playing our favorite punk hits from Sum 41 and Blink 182, to bringing a more romantic vibe with Alicia Keys, set the perfect tone for the night. There is no other DJ/Band hybrid company like this..simply the best!

Best DJ/Band Hybrid in NJ

Jason and his squad were honestly the most professional group of people that I've ever met and they exceeded me and my wife's expectations. Everything fell into place and we couldn't have had the amazing wedding we had, if it hadn't been for Excel Entertainment. From the awesome lights, to the slideshow they put together for us, to the awesome vibe they set with the music, they made our day one we'll never forget. People couldn't stop talking about what an amazing duo Jason and Liv were, singing classics like "Ain't No Mountain High" which was the highlight of their performance! You will not regret booking EXCEL!!

If you are looking for the perfect combo of an upbeat band and awesome hits from the DJ, Excel Entertainment is the way to go! Everyone knows a good band is crucial to the success of a wedding. I could not say kind enough words that would do Excel Entertainment justice. From the beginning of the wedding where we had more of the classics like Frank Sinatra to the last dance where everyone was getting down on the dance floor (literally - I admit my husband did request "Shout"), the band was outstanding!! They kept a great energy and are extremely talented. I was especially delighted that even in between sets and during meals when most bands take a break, one of the singers continued to perform beautiful background music for us. Liv has an amazing voice that I was honestly blown away by. Through and through, there's not a single thing I found that could have been improved upon!

Amazing vibe!!!

We can't say enough good things about Excel Entertainment, and our guests have been raving about the quality of the band. We didn't want a cliche NJ wedding with just a DJ and all the same songs everyone is used to so we chose the DJ and full band option, and they perfectly executed exactly the vibe we wanted. The MC Jay struck the perfect balance of singing hits while getting everyone on the dance floor, to transitioning to what felt like a real live concert! Jay has a really amazing talent of being able to read the room, and maintain a level of energy that is out of this world! I would definitely recommend Excel Entertainment to anyone who loves live music that is well-executed, needs a versatile band who can cover a wide range of genres, and acts extremely professionally while having a blast. Thank you, Jay, Liv, and the rest of the band for helping make our wedding reception unforgettable!!

Loved jason!

We loved Jason! He usually books himself with the band and we only hired the MC/ DJ so we weren't sure that Jason would be the one working our wedding until about 2 months before- thankfully he was! He played an awesome mix of music that catered to all our guests. My (now) husband and I danced the entire night ( we only sat for about 10 minutes total to eat our meals). Even our most picky guests LOVED the music! He is great at reading the crowd and mixing songs ( we had been to weddings where the DJ played every song entirely and it was awful!). I recommend Jason to anyone looking for great entertainment.

Excel is exceptional

Jason and the rest of Excel Entertainment are simply AMAZING. My wedding was five days ago and I'm still getting calls about how awesome the dj/band hybrid was. One of my family friends actually booked them for my friend's wedding next June. We had 225 guest at our wedding all of which never left the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish of our wedding. Jason is so great to work with. Explain the vibe you are looking for for your wedding and he'll make it happen. The dj/band hybrid is such a unique feel and leaves guests in awe. Excel Entertainment also has exceptional live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our live pianist made the ceremony music a dream come true. We saw them once at a bridal show and booked them immediately, that's all it took. Do yourself and the rest of your wedding guest a favor and book them right away! They will bring down the house with an unforgettable night!

We are so happy with our experience with Excel Entertainment! We had the pleasure of having them perform for our wedding reception at Seasons Catering. They took the time before the wedding to meet with us and see what kind of music we were interested in and how we wanted the night to go in terms of music for our guests as well. Jason and the team were so accommodating with last minute changes when it came to changes in song choices as well as introductions for the reception, which we greatly appreciated the day of! The energy was great throughout the night and no one wanted the music to end.

Wow is all that we can say! We chose excel entertainment and it was the best decision we made! We knew the type of crowd we had (a bunch of dancing machines) and we wanted to be on the dance floor all night and we definitely were! Jason and his team are absolutely amazing and bring so much energy!! We used the hybrid half band and dj and our guests absolutely loved it people are still talking about it! When I tell you the dance floor was packed at all times it truly was they read the crowd so well! Jason and his team also surprised us with a live performance of our first dance song instead of playing it through the DJ it was so special we can’t thank excel enough! I wish we could re live the night over and over again and our guests wish they could too!! Thank you excel!!

As we planned our wedding and selected vendors, my wife and I were very certain about one thing: The DJ is what takes a wedding from "nice night" to something unforgettable for you and your guests. Everyone likes a nice centerpiece, and sure, pictures are important too... but how much fun people have, and making the reception special --- that's where the DJ, Band, and Company come into the picture.

Being a 20 something, we had been to A LOT of weddings leading up to planning our own. We knew what we liked, didn't like, and wanted from our DJ. Which is why Jason was the only vendor we needed to meet with when it came time for our own wedding. They exceeded our already high expectations, and IT WAS AWESOME! Ceremony music was beautiful and set the tone just right. Cool jazz got everyone loose during cocktail hour. Intros were stellar. First dances were beautiful and were performed live by the band. The, most importantly, reception. Everyone had a blast all night long with stellar live performances and great music choices.

Of the 10+ weddings i've been to in the past 4 years, Excel Entertainment has the #1 and #2 spot for best DJ. Of course, #1 is our own =). You simply will not find better.

My daughter, Francesca and Devin were married on Feb. 16, 2018. We booked Excel for music, photography, photo booth, and more. They exceeded our expectations. The band/dj were amazing. We had a country singer who sang the wedding song and was really good. The dance floor was full all night. Jason and everyone at Excel were attentive to our needs and always available when we had questions. David the photographer was perfect. He was there every time we needed a photo. Thank you so much!

From the second I met Jason, I knew that we made the best decision when going with Excel. They are like no other wedding entertainers out there and I had no doubt in my mind that they were going to make our wedding the most fun time ever. What I didn’t know is how much they were going to exceed all my expectations! Jason came to my venue with us when we first booked and did a full walk through. He gave us so much expertise advice not only about the music and the lighting, but about the layout of the room, different ideas that would make the wedding flow - and everything he suggested we went with which made everything even more fabulous. He is SO knowledgeable about everything Wedding and a genius in knowing exactly how to throw a fun and awesome party.

During our wedding, our guests had SO much fun!!!!! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and Excel knew exactly how to read the crowd to keep everyone going. Jason checked in with us all night long making sure we were having a great time and that everything was going how we wanted. Liv has the voice of an angel and can sing ANYTHING! The DJ and instrumental members of the band are out of this world. I am so happy to be one of the first in my very big family to get married because I will definitely make everyone book with Excel. I am a very particular and picky person, especially when it comes to music and I cannot express enough how out of this world Excel was. My husband and I are so thankful that we booked with Excel. They will absolutely make your wedding and you will not be disappointed for even a second.

THE BEST BAND EVER! Our wedding was SOOOO amazing thanks to Excel! They had our guests (and us!) dancing all night long until the very last second. They were so fun to work with and accommodating as well. Jason, the owner, is awesome and Livia has the prettiest voice in the world. They did the perfect variety of music to please the diverse crowd. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing our band was and how much fun they all had!

Jason and his team at Excel Entertainment rocked out at our wedding in the best way. Our friends and family kept coming up to me just to say how awesome the band was. Some didn’t even realize that someone was singing until they looked, because that’s how authentic they sounded to each song. Excel Entertainment played at our wedding this past weekend in Geneva, NY and they hit it out of the park!!! First, Jason was a pleasure to work with during the whole planning process. He is 100% a professional and very responsive. They showed up promptly after a 5 hour drive for them ( sorry guys! Haha) and everything went very smoothly. They absolutely killed it at our wedding! Such amazing energy, perfect song choices, incredible vocals and talent. A great band was our top priority and we're so glad that we booked them. I heard our guests say multiple times that they didn't even realize that there were people singing because it sounded so good just like the original songs. Thank you guys for everything! I'd recommend you to anyone!

Also, our coordinator said that you guys had the best sound volume out of every band that has ever played there.. and they have a wedding 3x a week every week of the year. Awesome job!

I first heard Excel at a bridal show and I was immediately convinced I wanted them for our wedding. We are extremely happy that we chose them to perform at our wedding. You get the perfect blend of DJ/band to play a variety of music. I was a bit worried since most of our guests are Hispanic/Filipino but everyone absolutely LOVED them. We purchased the band option which includes the MC, singer, bass/drums. First of all, the singer, Livia, is fantastic! Her voice is just wonderful. The MC, Jason, is super awesome and flexible with whatever you need. He also sometimes sings and plays the guitar (he is AMAZING on it). The men who played the bass/drums are also great! There was another guy who was the DJ and also happened to sing one of the songs we requested to hear live. He turned out to be fabulous as well! We also purchased the uplighting, custom gobo design, and TV package option. The uplighting is what MADE the room! All the guests loved the different colors that were used. The gobo design was beautiful too (there are dozens of options to choose from)- although our guests didn't even realize we had it since they are distracted by other things. The TV package was awesome as well. We are so happy we purchased it. The only thing that disappointed me was that the candid camera guy (which is included in the TV package) took less than 100 photos and most of them ended up looking cloudy/blurry. Either way it's an added bonus that we didn't even expect because all we cared about were the huge TVs that were by the band. We'd like to thank the entire team for an amazing night- we are so happy to have booked you. Jason- you are awesome for helping us make our custom mixes. Thank you for being flexible with us and also we love how easy it is to use your client webpage. We will definitely use you again for other party needs! Brides- this team is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. You will not regret booking them!!

Excel was amazing! The band rocks and it really makes it feel like there's a concert going on in your honor. On top of it all, the guys at Excel are super professional and easy to work with. Picking the entertainment for your wedding is one of the scariest most stressful things you have to book. You need someone who's going to keep your guests up on the dance floor without you having to worry about it, Jason, Livia and the rest of the guys at Excel Live killed it. Our wedding was amazing and we owe it all to Jason and the guys at Excel. If you're going to go with a band in 2017, these are the guys you book. Livia has an incredible voice and they know exactly what to play to make people get up and dance, both old and young. All of the other bands we looked into just seemed dated.
