Katherine in her team are truly the best. Day of coordination was seamless and flawless. No question was too much and truly we had no concerns or thoughts the day of our wedding other than having fun. They are PROS! The entire planning process was made so much easier because of Katherine. She let us contact her any time with any questions. Truly gave the best advice and suggestions and did it in a way where what you wanted was still reflected and the priority. We could not have asked for a better planner for the entire process and a better executor for the day of. Truly looked better than we had envisioned. The only down side is that now that it’s over we don’t get the pleasure of working with Katherine anymore. She doesn’t warn you about that! Thanks Katherine for literally everything. Katherine and the EBTV team went above and beyond to make our day so special. She LITERALLY saved our day after a venue cancellation, and used her network to find a new space that was even better than the first. Katherine was attentive to every detail during the planning process and execution of our day. She was incredibly communicative, and made sure that all of our vendors had the timeline, pertinent information, and that our guests had an extraordinary experience. She worked tirelessly day-of to ensure that all of the tiny details were executed and our day ran without any issues. We cannot recommend her enough!

I've had multiple people ask me what one piece of advice I would give now that I'm married, and it's hire a day of coordinator for your wedding. Katherine was my day of coordinator for my wedding in October and I would not have been able to make it through the day without her. Katherine was such a source of knowledge and advice leading up to the wedding and shared so many helpful tips with me throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly and people were where they needed to go. I know she handled so much more than what I'm aware of because I was actually able to enjoy my wedding and everyone came to her with any questions/issues. Words cannot express the level of gratitude and appreciation my husband and I have for Katherine throughout this whole experience. After having three postponed dates, Katherine was with us through it all. Everything from meeting with us to talk about event/decor details to not making assumptions as to what we were including/not including on our day. On the day of, Katherine was so on top of everything from assistance in setting up our decor to making sure everything was happening on schedule. She's a respectful and kind woman that I consider a friend even outside of being our day-of coordinator. Highly recommend Katherine for your big day!
FUN FACT: Apparently we had a guest that needed cash for the bar. Katherine offered this guest to Venmo her and gave her cash immediately after. She was not only there for us, but for our guests as well!Everything But The Vows's reply:

We feel super lucky to have found Katherine and Everything But the Vows. Katherine was helpful, supportive, and organized during multiple COVID changes and delays. I am so relieved to have had her on our wedding day because it was clear that she had everything under control. Even our families commented on how happy they were to have her. On top of that, Katherine has a great personality and it was a pleasure to get to know her over several months of wedding planning. My husband was initially skeptical to hire a day-of coordinator but now thinks it may have been one of the best things we could've spent our money on. Professional, flexible & responsive!
Katherine was a huge help with our wedding! After needing to completely change plans due to covid, Katherine was ready to help no matter the guest count. We went from a Baltimore, 160 person wedding, to a Harrisonburg, VA 15 person wedding.
Katherine was a lifesaver in finding a shuttle company when no other one in Hburg would travel to our venue. She utilizes her resources and expertise to help her clients so much!
The day of & the rehearsal dinner, Katherine and her assistant came with their A games. Everything was on time, and exactly in place

Planning a wedding during COVID is not a simple thing to do. To say we were overwhelmed would be an understatement. Katherine took the wheel and guided us through the process knowing the proper safety protocols we needed to consider, coordinating details with the venue, the caterer, the bar tender, setting up and breaking down the decor, welcoming guests, directing helpers, etc. Thanks to Katherine’s help and support, we enjoyed an amazing and magical wedding weekend with zero stress or worry!Everything But The Vows's reply:

I can barely put into words how beautiful Katherine made my wedding. Our venue included a day of coordinator so when I reached out to Katherine I explained that I wanted someone to set up all of our decor since we made all of our own centerpieces. We agreed to that and she went above and beyond what I ever expected her to do. I was supposed to be have my wedding on 3/21/20, but due to coronavirus restrictions I had to postpone my reception twice. Katherine never stopped checking on me through the entire postponing process! She is amazing and my wedding was stunning! Katherine was nothing short of a miracle worker for our wedding day. I don't think I can put into words how invaluable Katherine was to making our day so special. From the beginning, she was warm and friendly and genuinely interested in supporting us through the wedding process. For months leading up to our wedding, she was in contact with me and my husband and our vendors. She accompanied us to our final venue discussion and asked pertinent questions that helped our day run smoothly. In the final weeks, she was available by phone, text, or email, coordinated with all vendors to ensure everything was on track, and made sure to send a detailed event list to be sure we were prepared. She even went out of her way to help us find an elusive easel for our seating chart!
And the day of! Goodness, I didn't have to think of anything nor answer questions, she was there every step of the way and we felt supported and taken care of. My mother raved about her to everyone and is still in awe of Katherine's magic.Everything But The Vows's reply:

If I could give Katherine 10 stars I would! She was an absolute Godsend and I don’t know what we would have done without her- she literally does everything but the vows! We hired her as our day of coordinator for the wedding. Leading up to the day, she was very easy to work with and helped us create a timeline to ensure everything ran smoothly. You can immediately tell she is passionate about her job. On the day of the wedding she was so helpful- from the first look, to making sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour, to fixing my hair, bustling my dress and even helping with my veil toss to making sure our photographer Jen got the perfect shot, I can’t thank her enough! Katherine was incredible and helped our day run so smoothly. I am a bit of a control freak so it was very important to me to have someone I could trust. She far exceeded any expectations we had. I had multiple guests and other vendors mention either how smoothly the day went or how on top of it Katherine was. We booked Everything but the Vows, Katherine as our "day of coordinator." From the start, we loved her laid back personality and felt that we were very go with the flow and appreciated that she kept reiterating it was our day and we'll figure things out together. She explained that her package is as much or as little communication as desired by the bride and groom from the time booked until the wedding. She stated she would attend any walkthroughs and have a check in around 3-4 months and the month of the wedding. Katherine was late to our walkthrough with the caterer and late to our rehearsal. We didn't think much of it because we knew she was coming from farther away. When she arrived for our rehearsal, she seemed stressed and was, I would say, "snippy" with our wedding party and officiant. The day of our wedding, multiple things went wrong- all of which I consider the responsibility of the coordinator. The most frustrating was that our wedding certificate was not signed by our officiant before he left the reception. In our check ins, Katherine assured me that she would handle this so we did not have to stress over it. I had to drive an hour and 15 minutes a few days after the wedding to meet our officiant to have it signed. Our seating chart that I made by hand and took several days was placed in a corner away from the entrance to the reception and away from the tables. When our guests entered, they thought that we had open seating and had to all shuffle once someone noticed the seating chart and pointed it out. After photos, before the reception my dress needed bustled. I asked her several times to get my mother as she had learned the complex bustle at my dress fittings- I had 12 buttons, 6 inside and 6 outside. Katherine insisted that she had done several bustles and would do it herself even after several times of me saying- "go get my mom." The bustle ultimately took 25 minutes and ended up being done improperly. Katherine tore my dress and ended up leaving the last two pieces of the bustle down because we were short on time. Our wedding favors were local handmade chocolates and were not put out until half of our guests had already left. Finally, our reception ended at 9:00pm. In my venue contract, I had one hour of clean up time. At 9:05, I walked into the bridal suite and all of my things had been thrown in boxes, packed into my vehicle and I was rushed out by 9:15pm. They threw away multiple food items that I intended on keeping. Oh and also- I had specifically discussed with our caterer that I wanted any leftover food. They had double checked with Katherine after the reception and she told them no, I did not want it and the food was thrown away.
I would not recommend Everything But The Vows. If I had my wedding all over again, this is the only vendor that I would absolutely never choose again.Everything But The Vows's reply:
