From overwhelmed to overjoyed, how Laurie made our wedding day unforgettable!

When my Husband and I started planning our wedding, we quickly realized we were in way over our heads. We spoke with several coordinators before deciding to work with Laurie. She guided us through the whole process, from creating a plan, to hiring vendors, and all the little details (many of which we wouldn't have even considered), all the while being an absolute pleasure to work with. She even had décor items (like table signs, votive candles, etc) for us to borrow which was a) a huge money saver compared to buying or renting them and b) a great way to cut down on waste from buying items to use for one day. Her extensive knowledge and experience is worth its weight in gold and working with her allowed us to have the wedding we dreamed of and stick to our budget! On our wedding day, Laurie made sure that everything went smoothly (if anything did go wrong, we certainly didn't notice!)

I truly could go on and on about how she transformed what started out as a stressful experience into a smooth and joyful process.

If you are recently engaged, do yourself a favor and hire Laurie sooner rather than later!!

Couldn’t have gotten married without her!

Everyday Details is incredible and a must if you have a wedding with minimal help from the venue. I got married at the Seacoast Science Center and Laurie helped us plan every detail down to the number of forks we needed. She was incredibly responsive and her relationship with all of our vendors made the day run smoothly. I cannot recommend her enough!

You could never ask for a better person to plan your event than Laurie. Conscientious, honest, and an all around wonderful, caring human being. Truly a planning wizard!

Laurie at Everyday Details is truly a planning wizard... An angel! I'm pretty 'Type A', so I did a lot of planning myself, but Laurie knew all the answers to the things that stumped me and really helped me put all the finishing touches on our special day. I'd say she sometimes knew what I wanted better than I did. For example, I thought I had a perfect layout, but hers was even better. If you're a bridezilla, she will still know how to talk to you and make sure you get what you want. And, She'll even tell you things you may not want to hear, but are better to hear in advance before they blow up on your wedding day. She also did our rehearsal and day of coordination, and it was flawless. She handled our rabbi, family and friends with care and compassion, and everyone loved her. She also graciously loaned us a few things we'd forgotten, like a card box and a cutting set for the cake. She always replied quickly to my countless emails and regularly called me to keep us on the same page. Needless to say, the day went off without a hitch, and we couldn't have done it without her.

The ultimate investment in turning your wedding dreams to reality

Working with Laurie was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process (only after the actual decision to get married). From the moment we started working together, all of the things that had been keeping me up at night I suddenly had a partner in and she had a game plan for us. Everything she does, she does with compassion, a smile and tenacity.

One of the things I admire most about how Laurie operates is how she leads what she calls the "vendor team". Every good team needs a quarterback, and that's what Laurie is for your carefully selected group of vendors. She understands their role in the success of the wedding, ensures they have all the information they need to be successful, and is the ultimate glue that keeps them all working together.

Hiring a wedding planner was an expense we didn't plan for, but it was the best investment we could have made. Above and beyond experience

Laurie came highly recommended by a friend and we were SO grateful we worked with her! My husband and I planned a wedding from London and Laurie’s expertise and network in the Seacoast NH area helped us tremendously. She went above and beyond by organizing multiple virtual calls throughout the year to help keep us on track, introduced us to amazing and valuable vendors, and truly understood the support we needed since we were planning a wedding from abroad. Laurie made a wonderful day even more spectacular!

Not only is Laurie thorough, knowledgeable and responsive (you hope all planners are), but she is an excellent listener and partner who helped us plan a very unique and personal vow exchange with a larger celebration a few days later. She connected us with excellent vendors whose pricing was wonderful and products suburb. Most importantly, when we ran into some unforeseen roadblocks (something where she wasn't previously involved) she jumped in and fixed everything. In fact her solutions were better than the original plan! We can't recommend her highly enough.

Forever grateful

We thought that we wouldn't need a wedding planner...once we realized that we were in over our heads we were only about two months away from our big day. With very little big details taken care of by us Laurie came to our rescue. She hit the ground running, found out exactly what we needed and alleviated the crushing stress and anxiety instantaneously. Most valuable and necessary wedding cost

From start to finish, everyday details was incredible!

From planning your big day, choosing vendors, to saving unexpected bumps on the big day, Everyday Details has you covered! I am very type A, but there is so much you don't think of, unless you have planned weddings many times before. Everyday details gets you the best prices, and partners you with vendors who fit your personalized taste and style. Every vendor I was connected with, was so incredible, and went above and beyond to make my big day everything I dreamed of. Then there's the big day! I had so much going on with getting ready, my amazing planner was at my venue, working with my vendors as a team to make the vision come to life. Laurie also handled unexpected situations, that could have led to major delays and problems, but she made the day flow so smoothly! The biggest thing I can say, is my groom did not see the need for a wedding planner, but after a single 15 minute meeting with our planner, he stated she was the best investment we had made for our big day, and he was so grateful we had her! The MacLean/Slattery Wedding May 28,2022

Laurie came highly recommended by other Wedding Professionals in the Portsmouth area. We are not from New Hampshire and Laurie knew who we wanted to work with and made sure we were connected to the right people and answered all our questions. She made sure to help us stick to our budget.
The hour of the start of our daughter’s wedding, the skies opened up to torrential downpours. When we reached the church, Laurie jumped off the trolley without hesitation and made sure the wedding party could get into the church under cover.

Best Day ever!

Best Wedding Ever! Perfect! Smooth! These are remarks from our guests.

Everything was thought of and more importantly, everything was taken care of. Details from the fabulous toilets, the bartender, tent and rentals. Best decision we made wedding planning!

We hired Laurie from Everyday Details as our wedding planner for the 26th of September and we can’t imagine the process without her! We got married at a location where we needed vendors for everything and Laurie was literally a lifesaver. She was with us every step of the way; offering advice, talking us through strategy and making sure that we were making the right decision for us. When it came to the wedding day itself, she played so many different roles perfectly. She set up all of our décor, managed all of the vendors, made sure we knew where to be and when and acted as a bodyguard so that my husband and I could eat during the reception. Laurie made our wedding day absolutely perfect and we are lucky to call her our friend. We can’t recommend Laurie highly enough to plan your event – guaranteed it will be the best decision you can make!

If I could give her 100 stars I would!

Laurie at Everyday Details is all you will ever need and more for any event you may have. She is the secret ingredient to a perfect and stress free planning experience. I found myself in awe so many times while planning my wedding, especially when people would ask how it was going because I was so grateful and pleasantly surprised at how stress free I truly was. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2021, 1 year before my big day (as it is currently breast cancer awareness month as I post this in October 2021 I want to shout out to all you ladies to please check yourselves, support one another and also give a cheers to all the survivors out there!). I called Laurie and asked what she thought about moving my wedding up after the news and just 6 WEEKS later it was my wedding day! Even after pulling my wedding up by 10 MONTHS, I did not have to compromise on a SINGLE thing because Laurie made it all possible. Her connections in the industry are a huge bonus as you automatically get connected with others that are just like Laurie, professional, caring and experienced! She doesn't only pay attention to the details but she is also one of the most amazing people you will ever meet inside and out, so working with her is a great experience and I would recommend her to everyone. The Best Decision

My son got married at our house on September 18. They were booked to get married at a venue but with the pandemic uncertainty decided to cancel and get married at our home. I've thrown my share of events at my house and thought I would be fine hosting this wedding for 100 people. A few months before the wedding I started second guessing this decision and reached out to my caterer, she recommended Laurie as a day of coordinator. It was the best decision I made! She was so much more! She met us at the house to she see what the environment would be and where everything would take place, she has a ton of knowledge and connections and was there with an immediate response anytime I texted or called her. She's a problem solver and helped me avoid issues and solve problems that I never even contemplated. She connected with every vendor and coordinated with them before the wedding to make sure everything went off without a hitch. She was also there for the rehearsal dinner, and proved invaluable! From the minute her team showed up I put it all in their hands and did not think about anything but having a good time with family and friends from that point on. The wedding was more perfect than we could have imagined and I was actually able to enjoy every minute of it thanks to Laurie! I highly recommend Laurie, she truly pays attention to detail and gives you piece of mind! I know the wedding would have been a very different experience for me if I had not hired Laurie, I would not hesitate to hire her again!

Better than I could have ever dreamed!

Laurie is the ultimate professional with the biggest heart. She truly cares about her clients and making their dreams come true even if it is in just a matter of 5 weeks! That is where her professionalism, years of experience, and development and nurturing of key relationships with excellent vendors comes into play. No matter what obstacle was thrown her way, she very calmly and strategically would take those worries and stresses away by stating with a smile "No worries, I'll make it happen!" And she managed to pull everything off flawlessly. Last minute hair emergency before rehearsal dinner? No problem, Laurie texts her go-to hair stylist for an emergency home visit within an hour. Need a wedding dress in less than 5 weeks? No problem, Laurie has the contacts to send you to find the perfect dress without a lengthy ordering process. Seamstress? Same, another quick call to a very reliable and talented contact - done. Videographer? Photographer? DJ? Done! If they are on Laurie's go-to list, they've already been through an extensive vetting process so no worries about what the results will be like. All saving you lots of money, time, and most importantly stress. Laurie handled every single detail along with those that you didn't even know you needed. If you want to enjoy making your wedding day dreams comes true without all the stress, worry and expense that goes with it, I'd highly recommend Laurie Mantegari. The BEST Wedding Coordinator

Hiring Laurie was the single best thing my wife and I did when it came to coordinating our wedding, and I cannot possibly recommend her enough. Laurie brings experience and expertise that were invaluable to us and her attention to detail is unparalleled and saved our bacon more than once. Laurie is so much more than just a day-of coordinator. She was an invaluable resource through-out the entire process, from start to finish. She helped us plan out every aspect of our event and think through all of the potential snags, many of which we could not have anticipated without her. She helped us plan out everything – linens, timing, logistics, if it had something to do with the wedding, Laurie was there to help. She’s incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond to make herself available to help whenever needed.

We did a lot of the set up and work for the wedding ourselves, and having Laurie as a partner to rely on before, during, and after our wedding provided us with such incredible peace of mind. I can’t stress enough how freeing it was to know that Laurie was handling all of the details behind the scenes, especially on the day of the wedding. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing except for enjoying our day, and it absolutely would not have been that way without Laurie and the incredible help she provided us. Best wedding coordinator ever!!!

Of course I'm bias because I've only ever hired Everyday Details, but our experience with Laurie was second to none! We hired her in 2019 for our 2020 wedding but when the pandemic hit, we postponed to 2021 and ended up having her for another year (yay!!!). Laurie is a helpful, hardworking, and flexible coordinator. She went above & beyond to make sure our day was exactly how we pictured it. She got us great discounts, and she had so much to offer us that saved us money in the long run. We got an awesome wedding & a great friend out of the deal... Best investment ever!

Exceeded expectations

Laurie is an absolute angel. I work long hours and she was completely fine with working with our tight schedules. Even if you’re not texting or calling her she is ALWAYS thinking and working on your wedding. I LOVE to spend money I don’t have and Laurie was able to gently reel me in. Also the day of my wedding my dress had a hole in the seam. Laurie didn’t miss a beat. I stripped down and she sewed it up so fast and no one would have ever noticed. Did I mention she is doing our 1 year celebration as well at no additional charge. She was there helping us make the tough decision to move our big wedding (while I cried in the galley hatch) and there is no way I could have gone through planning a wedding during a pandemic without her. She is no longer just our wedding planner but a friend.

Planning a destination wedding in New Hampshire during a pandemic was a challenge, but luckily we found Laurie!

Laurie put together our wedding in a few months--VERY impressive

Laurie is the best! I honestly don't know how I would've pulled our wedding off without her! Effortless and Supportive

Laurie was fantastic! From the beginning stages of planning, and me realizing how much more there was to planning a wedding, to the many changes in plans due to COVID, through to execution, she made the experience seem effortless. Best Decision!

After my husband and I got engaged we quickly began planning our wedding. We knew there were a lot of choices and options in terms of themes, venders, locations etc. The thought of a "wedding planner" NEVER crossed our minds prior to being engaged. We are both pretty laid back, can make decisions, and we thought what could a wedding planner do that we cant?

We decided on our venue right away. Our venue recommended having an event coordinator because we were outside and at an off site location (SSC). Thats when we came across Laurie's contact information from Everyday Details. We met with Laurie to see what help she could offer and see if we would work well together.

We hired Laurie that night. Her organization, positive personality, confidence and experience was beyond impressive. After listening to our vision, our special requests, and our budget, Laurie immediately had recommendations for us for vendors that she saw as a good fit. She was spot on on ALL of them. Her experience with weddings, charity events, public and private parties was clear from the relationships she had with so many people and businesses in the event industry.

Covid hit about 6 months out from our wedding day and Laurie handled it with ease. She was one step ahead on any restrictions or modifications that had to be made . She was responsive and available to meet whenever we asked to. She set up all of our meetings with our vendors and followed up to make sure it was what we were looking for.

On our wedding day she was reassuring and so flexible when it came anything we needed. Each part of our ceremony and reception ran on time and smoothly because of her coordination. She was calm, professional, personable, and an absolute blessing to our family. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to be sure that we were doing everything necessary for our guests to feel safe. She even made my husband and I masks out of fabric from my wedding dress!

The amount of money we SAVED with Laurie through her professional recommendations and her experience was probably double, if not more, then what we paid for Laurie to be with us every step of the way. Her composure and ability to make our wedding planning during a global pandemic manageable is something you cant put a price tag on. Going with Everyday Details was the best decision we made and we recommend her to anyone planning any type of event. You will be so thankful that you did.

I would have eloped without her

I truly don’t know if I’d have had a wedding and not eloped if I hadn’t met Laurie.

I scoffed at the idea of a wedding planner when I got engaged. At first, in my naiveté, I thought, ‘what’s the big deal to planning a wedding?’ I wanted a simple wedding, already had the venue, and I knew exactly what I wanted and wanted to pick all the decor myself. I didn’t even have a wedding party, so I really didn’t see the point in why I’d pay for a planner. Thankfully, I got out of my own way and I listened to everyone around me who said to at least meet with a couple and see what they could offer - that planning a wedding is far more stressful than you can ever imagine. Since I was coming from Manhattan and had never even visited New Hampshire, I decided to at least have a couple of exploratory calls.

With that, I first called from what I now have learned from asking around is one of the largest wedding planning companies in the city (and who changed their co. name and now I see why). I was met with stuffy attitudes and stuck on the phone with an inexperienced assistant who would never answer the direct question of what it was I was getting for three times the price of what Laurie quoted me. In 15 minutes of asking the same question, all I was left with was “well, maybe we can squeeze you in” to discuss it in person. No thanks — in the end they essentially just make calls to set up vendors - something I could well do on my own. Complete heist, just as I viewed the industry to begin with.

Then I met Laurie, and she was 180 degrees from everyone I talked with prior and everything I thought about wedding planners. She is down to earth - yet utterly trustworthy, efficient and calming. I seriously can’t imagine my wedding day if I had not hired her. At the time I was planning my wedding, I was inundated with work in every other area of my life, as well as a move into a new home. There was no way to do this without GOOD help.

On the day of, as weddings do, I encountered a major curveball as well with the wedding party, and I saw no way out. She handled it with complete confidence and grace and got me the day I wanted.

No matter how much you don’t think you need a wedding planner, you are probably wrong like I was. Hire Laurie - she will be the calm in the storm.

Laurie is amazing!

LAURIE IS AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL!!! I had the pleasure of hiring her as my day of coordinator. From the moment we met until several days after our wedding she was there for me every step of the way. She went out of her way to answer calls and texts from me (which were quite a few) at every hour of the day. At our wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better person to make sure everything went flawlessly. She was there to help decorate, lead the ceremony, gather guests when necessary, clean up after and pretty much every other piece of the day. She made up a step by step detailed itinerary so that there is no confusion on the day of the wedding and it paid off! She puts so much thought and heart into everything she does and everything she helps with. You can tell how much she really loves her job and she is good at it! I can't say enough good things about her. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and was a huge asset in making sure that my day was amazing.

Perfect weddings don't happen without Laurie and Everyday Details!

Hiring Laurie to help plan our wedding was the best decision we could have made. Even before we actually hired her, she offered her very honest, professional, and expert advice for choosing vendors for our big day. She was available any time, day or night, for any and all questions we had. She listened to our ideas, our wishes, our complaints, and our stresses. She always operates under the "your day, your way mentality" but was also not shy about giving her expert advice even when it was different than what we had envisioned. The day of before and the day of the wedding couldn't have gone smoother in our eyes. Even if there were hiccups, we weren't aware because Laurie took care of it. Getting married at someone's home rather than a typical wedding venue was not a small undertaking and Laurie helped us make sure that we had everything we needed. Amazing experience, amazing person!

Laurie was amazing in the days leading up to our wedding. I tend to be very laid back, and so had left some last minute details unfinished. Laurie came through at the ninth hour on a number of critical details, including getting a hair and makeup person to my hotel room with less than 24 hours notice. She also was great at keeping us on schedule the day of, and helping with last minute set-up of the venue. I highly recommend her!

Quick to jump in and solve issues

We were planning a wedding in NH, while living in Ohio. The Bride & Groom were in San Francisco, complicating almost everything we did. Laurie was our feet on the ground, solving all sorts of issues and last minute freak-outs. We needed a day of planner to handle the church events and limos. But she helped me on many other aspects. She's calm and easy to work with and has all the best contacts in the area. She made time for me whenever I was in town and we actually became friends thru the wedding planning process.

Worth Her Weight in Gold!

Laurie, who IS Everyday Details, was absolutely PHENOMENALl!!! She was consistently present in the planning for our daughter's wedding at the tent at the Seacoast Science Center. She gave needed advice, helped with choices and direction, and far exceeded any expectations. She has such vast experience and knows so many vendors, she was able to help in every area. Laurie truly listened to our vision, and made that vision come true.
It is the attention to detail that mattered to us, and Laurie was that person. She worked with all our vendors to make sure they understood our vision and made sure they paid attention to the details too. She was always immediately responsive and so easy to work with. Laurie was fantastic! I won a free package with Laurie and had hired her by the end of our free meeting. Laurie has so many great ideas and had so many money saving tips. From the time I hired her through my wedding day she was always there to answer questions and give advice. She was a life saver on my wedding day! She had made all the vendors timelines and emailed them ahead of time so everyone knew where they were supposed to be at what time. She helped set up our decorations and collected all our things after the wedding. She was there the whole night to make sure everything went smoothly and even made sure we had some food packed up to take with us. Highly recommended, 5+ stars.

Summer wedding

Piece of mind is what Everyday details brought us. Every small nuance, every detail, everything my fiancé and I forgot - Laurie remembered. I always hear that 99% of the time something always goes wrong at a wedding. Literally nothing went wrong at my wedding or if it did I did not know about it. My husband already submitted a review, but I wanted to add one too because Laurie really is amazing. I had no idea how much planning went into a wedding. We knew that we wanted a day-of coordinator to coordinate vendors and allow us to just sit back and enjoy the day. We saw Laurie's stellar reviews and were able to meet with her at her house to go over what we were looking for. Laurie was incredibly welcoming, reassuring, knowledgeable, and understanding. Not 30 seconds out her door, we both agreed we wanted to work with her. From there on out, she was incredible. Laurie knows how to save money and where costs can be cut down if you need them too. She also has a VERY long list of vendors who love working with her because she is so kind, organized, and thorough with her planning. Laurie introduced us to the DJ, florist, baker, bartender, linens vendor, and other vendors. All of them said they loved working with Laurie, and we could see why. She was easy to communicate with through email and phone, and always answered our many questions with thoughtful and thorough answers. On the day of our wedding, we knew we could relax and enjoy it because Laurie was there. She coordinated everything seamlessly! She shared her extensive and thorough timeline with us, but reminded us that this was our day and we could spend extra time wherever we wanted to. We cannot recommend her enough. She is incredible, and we will forever be thankful that we were able to work with her.

It’s difficult summarizing everything Laurie did for us and how instrumental she was in making our dream wedding a reality. Laurie's life motto is to be kind to others, and to do at least one kind thing for someone else every day. We think she's gone well and above her one-a-day quota, and went above and beyond for us. She helped us with both day-of coordinating and pre-wedding planning. We leaned on her to help us find vendors, plan seating arrangements, find the best way to display personal decorative items that would make our venue feel special, and do all of the above while sticking to our budget. Laurie was exceptional. She kept us on track and her connections helped us find multiple vendors, all of whom were wonderful and were eager to help us, especially once they knew Laurie was part of our team. She kept everything organized and was a great sounding board for whenever we wanted to bounce ideas around. She also helped us save money by finding talented vendors who don’t advertise their services as much as the bigger names, cutting out middlemen on linen and bus rentals, and even getting us discounts with vendors who were willing to charge less to get to work with Laurie again. After working with Laurie for ten months or so in the lead-up, we completely understand why so many are eager to work with her again.

When it came to the day of, her organizational skills and guidance were crucial. She put together a detailed timeline for the day, which she circulated to all our vendors, but was also quick to remind us that it was our day and that the most important thing was that every moment felt perfect for us. Everything moved flawlessly. Laurie even had an associate help with coordinating the ceremony and setting up the morning of so that we would have an extra person on-hand. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe a big thanks to Laurie for making that happen. We highly recommend working with her, and are forever grateful for her heartfelt work.

Laurie was invaluable to planning the day for our daughter’s wedding. She worked with all of us, but really made sure the bride and groom were happy! She recommended vendors that were amazing, convinced us early on the venue we originally picked might be a problem with our numbers (so right!), and kept us on track of everything we needed to do. We had a very tight budget and Laurie directed us in ways to save in the less important areas of the day and keep the items we really wanted. Day of coordinating team was great. I cannot recommend Laurie highly enough! She was so easy to work with throughout the whole planning process. When I needed names for other vendors she had options for me. If you're getting married in the area and looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator, you can stop your search! Laurie was one of the first vendors we hired, and I could not be more thankful that we did! She was unbelievably helpful throughout the entire process, and was so patient with our million questions. We planned our wedding on a private property, and Laurie had an endless amount of suggestions and tips to make the planning process as easy as possible. She was always available for our questions and had a positive outlook on the planning process that was very contagious. On top of that, she was able to save us money in a few different spots! The day of coordinators (Kelly and Crystal) were unbelievable, and made the day stress free and so much fun for my husband and I, as well as our parents. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and it would not have been as smooth without Laurie and her team's help!

Laurie was recommended to us by the Minister who completed our ceremony, and he was 100% right! Laurie started working with us ~8months before our wedding, and would check in every couple weeks to see the progress we had made or if there was anything she could help us with. The biggest help came about 2wks prior to the wedding, when she really took the reigns and worked with all the vendors to nail down a timeline and ensure that everyone knew my expectations (as the bride). My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our big day. There was no rushing, no waiting, no delays, no mistakes- it was a 100% perfect day thanks to Laurie and her team. She helped to take all the work I had put in, and finalize it, so I could enjoy the process and relax as our wedding approached and passed us. Well worth it.

We can't say enough about how amazing Laurie was, to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement. Laurie was wonderful. Our wedding was at an outdoor venue, so we knew that we wanted a day-of wedding coordinator, but the quality of service that Laurie provided went above and beyond the coordinating for the wedding day. We were having an issue with one of our vendors for the welcome dinner and Laurie spent over an hour with us on the phone, helping to troubleshoot and develop a plan to handle the situation. Additionally, rain was predicted for our wedding day, so Laurie brought a second person to help with all of the day of setup-- this was not an extra charge to us, she simply was fulfilling her promise of excellent customer service. Laurie made sure our day went smoothly, communicated professionally with all of our vendors (more than one mentioned how awesome the vendor team was and how great it was to work with Laurie), and was overall great to work with. We highly recommend Laurie for any of your event planning needs-- we are so thankful we had the opportunity to work with her for our wedding, and should we throw a big event again in the future, she would be our first phone call.

There are no words strong enough to express how grateful we are for all your hard work.

As the parents of the bride, planning an outdoor wedding with so many moving pieces is so time consuming and overwhelming.

Inevitably even with the best of plans, of which we had, some things are just out of our control.

When the bus transporting our out of state hotel guests failed to show up, Laurie sprung into action... and I mean action. All the vendors were programmed on her cell phone... speed dialed. Problem solved... guests transported without missing a beat... wedding back on schedule... with a full refund to boot... thank you Laurie!

And no one works harder than Laurie the day of the event. I was exhausted watching her.

I always tell Tif: "My mood is a direct reflection of yours". I cannot thank Laurie enough for helping my soon-to-be bride (she is GREEK and full of worry) stay calm throughout the entire planning process all the way through our big day. We did not have "problems" we had "opportunities" for Laurie to SHINE. I preface this by saying we only had one hiccup ... it was our transportation not showing up. I had no idea. I never knew Laurie left the church. She had just given me lessons on how to "Dip" Tiffany at the end of our first dance... I was standing on the alter steps promising the congregation that the bride was going to show up... she's on Greek time. Come to find out; Tif had sent Laurie a text advising our guests were waiting to be picked up but our transportation never arrived. Laurie was on it... drove from the church to the hotel and had the issue solved in 10 minutes !

Ever wonder about how things run so smoothly at the reception? How your best man is handed a corona (with lime) at the exact time he finishes his speech and is about to toast? How the skis he gave your bride as part of his speech along with all of your gifts and cards find a safe place until you are able to pick them up the next day?

Not all super heroes wear capes !

Do yourself a favor and implement Laurie and Mitchell (her husband behind the scenes) of Everyday Details so your reflection is that of a happy bride.

Laurie was such a pleasure to work with! She came into the process late (three weeks before the wedding, yikes!) and thank our lucky stars she did. Laurie was very well connected with our vendors, and was able to pull strings last minute when we discovered we were missing table cloths and were in sudden need of a photo booth. She is highly organized, and responds quickly to both texts and email. On the day of our wedding, she really allowed both my mom and I to ENJOY the wedding instead of worrying over every little detail (also, she somehow convinced my two year old flower girl to wear her flower crown....amazing). Laurie is hardworking, kind, and extremely attentive to details -we loved meeting with her and having her by our side on our big day! Where to start! Laurie is an amazing, bubbly and sweet person, and was absolutely phenomenal during the entire planning process and on the day of our wedding. We had the reception a state park, and without her to help us organize the details (many of which I never would have thought of on my own), the day would have been infinitely stressful! But with Laurie there, we knew she would take care of whatever issue arose and keep things running smoothly, so my husband and I were able to enjoy our time surrounded with our closest family and friends.
Laurie also came to our vendor meetings, which helped coordinate the small details we didn’t even realize would be important, and coordinated with all our vendors behind the scenes so they were all on the same page. She was available over the phone whenever I had a question or just needed to vent, and also picked up our favors for us the day before, and did an amazing job with the setup of the reception area, including tablescapes, centerpieces, guestbook, gift table…everything!
Her organizational skills are unbelievable, and the first time we met I knew we were in good hands. The peace of mind we had that everything would go perfectly because of Laurie being a part of our day was absolutely priceless, and we could not have imagined the day without her there. Laurie was absolutely amazing. We had guests telling us that our wedding was the most seamless they had ever been to. Our other vendors came up to us and told us how thankful they were for our day of coordinator because she made their jobs so much easier. Laurie is amazing!! She is so organized and on top of everything that she made planning our wedding easy! We hired her to do partial planning and day of coordination. She gave us so many amazing vendor referrals which made our wedding run perfectly and by the end of it all, partial planning seems like an understatement. She has relationships with everyone in the Seacoast NH area! Not only did Laurie help us plan for our big day, but she provided all the essentials to actually execute it. From loading and unloading all of our decorations and alcohol (we got married at the Seacoast Science Center, where you pretty much bring in everything your self) to taking it all to her house afterwards and spending Father's Day helping us to load it all back into our vehicle, Laurie does it all! She ordered and made all of our welcome baskets and dropped them all off at the hotel before we arrived on Friday. She ordered our mason jar favors at cost and turned them into adorable place cards for our guests. When we couldn't find somewhere in Portsmouth for our rehearsal dinner, no worries said Laurie, and she called up a friend and got us a venue. When I couldn't find pictures that were meant to go in our guest book the day before, don't worry said Laurie, who went over to CVS and printed them for me again. From her laminated timelines to the attention she pays to every last detail, Laurie is totally on top of it all! If there were any issues of the execution of our day of, not only did it not look like it, but we didn't know about it!

Description of Laurie in two words, "Simply Amazing" My daughter's wedding was May 28, 2016, Memorial Day weekend :) Because it was a destination wedding, we hired a wedding planner! From the planning to the magical day off.....was spectacular. What a perfect name for her business! Every detail was thought of! I just don't know too many people who after a wedding say, "I would not change a thing, it was perfect". At one point my daughter had this stoic look on her face, so I said, "Are you OK?" she replied, "I feel like I am in a dream!" Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Laurie for making Taylor and Lauryn's wedding truly a beautiful day to always remember! We are very blessed :)

Wow...where can I begin! I don't know if I would have survived the day without Laurie and everyday details!
My daughters wedding was at a private home and had to be planned literally from the grass to tent top. I started to do it all on my own, and then I contacted Everyday Details...best decision EVER! There were so many things that I had not thought of. Laurie guided me through and helped so much. Her day of timelines made the day flow seamlessly! It seriously felt like the wedding was over in the blink of an eye! Without the timelines, it would have been up to me to run the wedding, but wiith the timelines I got to enjoy of minute! I am still 10 months out from our wedding date but I felt compelled to write about how amazing Laurie is! I booked Laurie during this Summer 2015 for our wedding next Summer 2016. Her motto and her aim is to save brides their time, money and stress during wedding planning... And so far she has ticked all three boxes with me in so many ways! Laurie is eager to get to know you and your spouse-to-be so that she can make sure to meet both needs throughout the planning phase and on the day, which put my future husband at great ease! He was unsure about the investment in a planner but he is now super happy with our decision! Laurie's vendor help, general advice on wedding planning and budgeting has helped us immensely so far. She is such a lovely person and really fun to work with. We have a great laugh when chatting or meeting while getting lots done and she gets as excited as me - she genuinely cares :) Lauries style is also very straight on point and she will give you the honest truth. She is available ANY TIME for calls/ texts/ emails - really comforting to a future bride! Laurie has course corrected me and put me in the right direction on big expenditure items which I will be forever grateful for! I consider myself pretty organized and savvy with research; so for some of you also in that boat you may think you don't need a planner - but you need Laurie! I cannot wait to work with Laurie for the next 10 months as we get ready for our big day!

We worked with Laurie for our wedding, and could not have been any happier with her work. Leading up to the wedding we had a few in person meetings with Laurie to discuss details, and followed up with additional information through email. Laurie was very patient, responsive, and helpful during the entire process. She would often bring up ideas and questions that we may not have thought of or considered, and with her years of experience and relationship with various vendors we knew we could trust her input. The day of our wedding we were completely relaxed, and not worrying about any of the setup, knowing that Laurie and her team had it covered with the help of her meticulous and detailed timeline, that all our vendors received. The day went off perfectly, and I know that could not have happened without Laurie and Jamie’s hard work behind the scenes. My wife and I were blown away by Laurie. She somehow went above and beyond our high expectations and our big day went off without any issues! We literally couldn't have done it without her. I hired Laurie for her "Day Of Coordinator" services for my wedding this past weekend at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel in Portsmouth NH. Although we didn't actually meet in person until a few days before the wedding since I live in NJ, she was very personable over the phone and via email and quick to offer her help in any way possible in the months and days leading up to my wedding. She was there the day before to help coordinate the rehearsal and also from beginning to end on the day of my wedding. It was definitely one of the best vendor decisions I made, by far, for my wedding and peace of mind. And best of all, she does a wonderfully amazing job at a price that is affordable to brides on a budget. I am a very organized and at times controlling person, in a way that I like things done the way I have in mind. Her motto is, "your day, your way" and because of that we just meshed really well throughout the time I got to work with her. Everything and anything I asked of her she did, without hesitation, and totally took the stress out of the few minor problems that did arise. She got right on it and took care of it, allowing me to step away and continue to enjoy my day and not run around trying to problem solve and deal with the headache. Hire Laurie to help plan or coordinate your wedding or big event and you will not be disappointed! They say (for most people) your wedding is the biggest party you will throw in your life, and that is probably true for me but if I have another large scale event of any kind I would hire Laurie again without hesitation, because of the fantastic job she did and because she was just so easy and great to work with. I worked with Laurie and Vanessa and I highly recommend them both!! They were both very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. I mostly worked with Laurie leading up to the day of my wedding and I was incredibly impressed with her vast array of good ideas! Not only was she helpful in organizing my day but she brought up things that I would never have even thought to think about. Vanessa was there for my ceremony rehearsal and day of and she was fantastic! Vanessa, Laurie and my whole team worked very hard to make everything exactly how we'd hoped it'd be and they did a GREAT job! The wedding was wonderful and the best part was that thanks to Laurie and Vanessa I didn't have to worry about anything during the event! My daughter and I decided we needed a coordinator for her outdoor, NH seaside wedding reception. We were concerned about bringing all the planning together and ensuring everyone had a wonderful day without having to worry about a thing. My daughter talked with several planners but after meeting with Laurie of Everyday Details we knew she was the one. During the whole process Laurie was professional and went above and beyond. Laurie offered suggestions, coordinated all the vendors--even when it came down to ensuring the electricity pole at the venue could accommodate our needs. Laurie recognized our priest was going to be "high maintenance" so she also came to the church the morning of, after already getting our vendors going at the site 25 minutes away. We could not have pulled it off without her. A few days before the wedding I delivered a van full of reception material to Laurie's studio to include escort card "message in a bottles" for 160 guests--which she had to individually place in a tray filled with brown sugar. Laurie's studio was adorable, and I realized that Laurie can do it all--from planning the entire event to providing customization goodies and everything in between. When we arrived at the reception I immediately had to check out the tent to see what it all looked like. Everything was placed perfectly! We didn't have to do one thing while at the reception and Laurie ensured it was all picked up at the end of the night (to include loading vehicles with the left over alcohol and wedding gifts and decorations). Laurie also created a timeline and laminated (6 pages) of the timeline, vendor contact, and other great information, which she then signed and gave as a memento to my daughter. Thank you Laurie for ensuring my daughter and her new husband's wedding day was awesome and stress free for us all! It was honestly the best day of our lives and we thank Laurie.

I was hesitant to use a planner. As the date approached I got nervous. I was planning a tented event at my parents lake home and every decision was up to me!! When I reached out to Laurie she was awesome; super supportive, excited and professional. She let me know that she was not available. She helped me right up until by creating the most amazing timeline for me, thought of factors and variables that I hadn't even considered. She and Tracey met with me to go over everything. I was hesitant to hand my intricately planned event over to someone I had met so close to my event.
The day of my wedding was so easy, we followed the timeline and the vendors knew exactly where to be. As I got on the shuttle, it started to rain. I knew I had Tracey and support staff so the ceremony site shift was up to them. They helped shuffle guests, gave out umbrellas and actually told us to wait it out for a sunny break. We did just that and got married outside!
The tables were gorgeous! The only mistakes were a few with setup, but my guests had no idea they weren't supposed to have a champagne toast! If that was the biggest mistake I had nothing to worry about. Tracey managed the vendors, they all had nothing but great things to say. She worked to keep us on track, managed all of the 'on the fly' changes and helped with EVERY mishap! (I am sure there is more than what I know about too!) She stayed after the event to clean up and everything looked amazing! Laurie followed up with my after my event to ensure things went well. I have already referred quite a few people their way. Laurie has a great work ethic and customer service approach. She trains her staff directly so even if you are not getting her, you are getting the next best thing! If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired Everyday Details a lot sooner in my planning process, but I wouldn't change a thing if it was the same or nothing!!! Thank you Lori and Tracey!!!

My husband & I both agree whole-heartedly that Laurie & her team were hands-down the best choice we made for our wedding! Our venue was very DIY, and what seemed "simple" ahead of time, became very overwhelming the week of the event, and would've been unmanageable if not for Laurie & her crew. They were proactive, anticipating needs we hadn't seen yet; flexible in their role, as they ended up taking on far more than what had been contracted, and did it all deftly enough that our guests had no idea what was going on behind the scenes! They even managed to keep most of the drama off my radar until the end of the night, so I could enjoy myself as much as possible... and that's what you want -- to enjoy your own wedding! You'll still be hosting, but let Laurie coordinate, or you'll miss out. She truly cares about giving you & your loved ones a special experience; my whole family was super impressed -- not only by how thorough her planning was, but also by how warm her delivery was. The only thing I would go back & do differently in my preparation process is to involve Laurie sooner! Do yourself a favor & take her up on ALL her expertise. She's a true professional & we'll always be grateful for her tremendous efforts on our big day :)

Yes. I said that to my sister in law when she recommended Laurie to Trevor and me when we first got engaged.
HAHA! I do not think I could have been any more naïve. Needless to say, 7 months later I was in Laurie’s studio begging for help.

And to all the brides, like myself, who think they do not need an event coordinator, think again because you are very much mistaken. Laurie is the best at what she does. I don’t think you can find a more organized, knowledgeable event coordinator who actually cares about you and who will spend as much time as she does making sure your day is perfect.

Laurie was an incredible resource to us (& friend) throughout the wedding planning process. I found her on weddingwire after interviewing 3 other coordinators who all seemed a little new to the game...trust me: you want someone with lots and lots of experience--especially if you have more complicated logistics like we did! She found us vendors for transportation, a septic service, wedding bands, bartenders, back-up generators, miscellaneous decorations that hadn't even crossed our minds...you name it.

Laurie understood the intricacies of the various family relationships as it related to planning the event itself: costs, opinions, etc and navigated even the toughest situations with grace. We ended up doing her partial planning package on her recommendation, and while I was initially skeptical (thinking that I had 'everything under control')--accepting her recommendation was probably the smartest thing we ever did, and a worthwhile investment, as she probably saved us the equivalent amount of $$ thanks to her insight, connections, and experience, not to mention all the pain & agony that would have come from doing it all ourselves.

On the actual day she jumped through hoops to make sure everything flowed smoothly--there was not a single task beneath her, and I can honestly say that despite all the stresses of planning (& things that didn't always go as expected on the actual day (& they never do!)), it was one of the best days of my life, which is truly all you can ask.

Lastly, Laurie has great integrity, and she has the perfect personality for taking control the day-of; friendly, but stern if the occasion calls for it (i.e. ushering a stubborn, massive bridal party to the shuttles at 2AM). My sisters will be using her, my friends will be using her, and if I could do it all over; Laurie would plan the entire thing. We are very grateful to her.
