Our wedding at Evergreen Country Club was nothing short of incredible, and so much of that is thanks to the outstanding team — especially Desiree and Hanna — who made the entire process seamless, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
From the moment we booked, communication with Desiree was phenomenal. She was unbelievably responsive — whether I had a cluster of questions at once or a last-minute thought late in the evening, she always replied quickly, kindly, and with clear answers that put me at ease. Her attention to detail was unmatched. She truly listened to every want, preference, and logistical concern we had and offered thoughtful solutions {including well-planned back-up options in case of inclement weather}. It was obvious she cared deeply about making our day perfect, and she absolutely delivered.
Our food tasting was exceptional, delicious, beautifully presented, and very accommodating for guests with dietary restrictions and for the children attending our wedding. Evergreen went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt taken care of, and our guests raved about the food all night and after { especially the carving station we added, last minute, Ha!}.
We also had an amazing experience with Hanna, who runs the Evergreen Inn. She was a pleasure to work with — warm, responsive, and always willing to help. One of our guests who stayed with us had a service dog, and Hanna was incredibly accommodating and respectful, which meant so much to us.
Both the bridal suite at the clubhouse and the groom’s suite at the Inn were stocked to perfection. Beverages were constantly replenished, and the menu items we selected were restocked throughout the day, which made getting ready feel relaxing, elevated, and luxurious. It’s the small touches like this that truly set Evergreen apart.
Behind the scenes, coordination with all of our vendors was seamless. Evergreen handled everything with such professionalism that we never had to worry — everyone was exactly where they needed to be, timelines ran smoothly, and the day flowed flawlessly.
I cannot recommend Evergreen Country Club enough. If you’re looking for a venue that combines beautiful spaces with exceptional service, responsive communication, and a team that genuinely cares — Evergreen is the place. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and we are forever grateful.

Evergreen Country Club in the fall couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for our wedding! The red maples around the stone garden and the 1st tee and 18th green made for some unbelievable pictures!
Everything was beyond perfect for our special day and that all started with the event coordinator Desiree. She was there for anything we needed all day and made us feel so special! Booking it over a year and a half out, she was great with communicating and answering all of our questions. Leading up to the day, we felt no stress and all of the little details were taken care of!
The entire wedding party stayed at the Inn at Evergreen right on property. It’s an amazingly beautiful historic Inn, and we were thrilled that everyone in our wedding party was able to be together in such a cool place!
The ballroom is perfect for various wedding sizes. It didn’t feel empty at all for our 60-person wedding, but it can still comfortably fit many more guests.
We decided on the buffet option because we wanted a more casual dining experience. We’re still receiving compliments from family and friends about how amazing the food was and how Evergreen was such a beautiful place for our wedding!
We recommend Evergreen CC to any couples looking to have a beautiful wedding in a surreal surrounding with Bull Run Mountains in the backdrop. Desiree was wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! -

I cannot even being to explain how amazing this venue is. Not only is it breathtaking but the pictures are on the site are true to the venue. I was getting discouraged as a bride to be searching for a venue since the photos didn't match what I saw in person. As soon as I saw evergreen I knew immediately that was where I wanted to get married. I don't have enough words to describe Desiree my coordinator. She is the sweetest, kindest, patient, idea oriented, flexible, available, organized, welcoming I could go on and on about her coordinator that you WANT for your big day. We ended up bonding and building a friendship out of this experience with her and I am forever grateful for her. I wish I could do my husband and I's big day over and over again from beginning to end there and enjoy the evening with my family and friends again. I HIGHLY recommend evergreen for your big day I PROMISE you will not be disappointed and one more note the food is DELICIOUS!! Congratulations to all future couples! -

When searching for a venue, my husband and I wanted something that was close enough to the city but captured a unique backdrop of the mountains and greenery. We struggled to find something that checked all of our boxes - enter Evergreen Country Club. From the second we toured we knew that this was our wedding venue. Not only is the staff incredible, but the members were so kind when we were walking around and you could tell it was a place that was important to a lot of people, and we were excited for it to become an important place to us. Desiree was a phenomenal coordinator. She was thoughtful, quick, responsive, organized and most importantly, kind. She has this "calm, cool, & collected" energy about her that a lot of coordinators and planners don't and she allowed us to really sit back, relax, and enjoy the day - we knew that if anything went wrong, we'd have a great team with her as the leader. She went above and beyond for us, making sure we had everything that we needed before during and after the wedding. The staff was amazing and we got texts the next day not just about how beautiful the property was, but how amazing the servers and bartenders were. Our guests were blown away by every aspect of this place, as were we of course. I didn't want to leave the morning after our wedding.
We also used the Inn as a place to stay for us and our wedding party - I recommend EVERY couple books this. Annie the innkeeper is amazing and makes the place feel like home quickly. It was great to have a place for our wedding party to hang out throughout the weekend and not worry about transportation, tracking people down, etc. Not to mention, the honeymoon suite is a gorgeous backdrop for bridal portraits and a beautiful room to get ready in.
Evergreen is a very special place, and their weddings reflect that. We are so thankful for Desiree, Annie, and the rest of the staff for making our wedding the absolute best. We will cherish every second we had at this place!
Pro tip: The venue is even beautiful in the pouring rain ;) -

I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful words about Evergreen.
I’ll start with the process of choosing our venue. Desiree, the director of events, is incredibly informative, honest, and earnest. I have family from out of town and she graciously gave us THREE tours so our closest family could see the venue, and each tour was just as impactful.
It is just absolutely stunning. At the foot of the Bull Run mountains, the backdrop for the ceremony and wedding photos is to-die-for. The club has also been recently renovated to have a modern but classic look—I received SO many compliments for how beautiful the event space was. You also get a TON of space! In addition to the ballroom, you also maintain access to the cocktail lounge and their front and back patios throughout the duration of the evening.
The service was exemplary. When we were getting ready, the staff would check on us very consistently to make sure we had everything we needed, and they were eager to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the entirety of the day. To mention Desiree again, I hired her as my day-of coordinator, but she was always there to answer questions and to provide guidance regarding catering, timeline, vendor coordination, etc. throughout my 1.5 year wedding planning timeline. She really made it happen for me.
Evergreen gave me the wedding that I dreamt of my entire life. I wish I could relive the process with them all over again. -

Couldn't have asked for a better team of people - so accomodating, excellent service, and just friendly. My day was made even more special by this beautful, all inclusive venue. Everything was made easy, I used nearly all recommended vendors, the food was beyond good, and everyone took care of us like we were family. I can't wait to go back to Everygreen for our anniversary! -

Outdoor wedding, reception in club house, and stay at the "Inn." Mid Nov wedding and the venue was absolutely stunning. Desiree, the event director, is top notch. You will not regret it. If you're a golfer, play the course. -

Evergreen Country Club and the Inn at Evergreen is an gorgeous venue for a wedding or special event. The ceremony courtyard is beyond beautiful with the Mountain View and well maintained. The ballroom makes for a beautiful reception and the food was delicious. Leah the event coordinator was so helpful and easy to work with. She handled all the details and made our wedding day to so smooth. She helped to make our postponed wedding a dream come true working with us with all the unknowns. Lisa the Innkeeper was so easy to work with and made our overall experience perfect for our wedding night stay! I highly recommend Evergreen CC for a wedding! -

We got married at Evergreen Country Club on November 1, 2020 and it was our dream wedding venue! Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted an outdoor fall wedding and Evergreen’s views are just priceless. I knew from the day we did the venue tour that I wanted to get married there. Their ceremony garden grounds naturally have the PERFECT ceremony backdrop! Leah Ferezan was such a huge help during the planning process and during the day of. She gave advice on local vendors, was always available to talk, and was all around the sweetest person to work with. I wouldn’t change anything about our big day because Evergreen was that amazing. Our guests are still talking about the view during the outdoor ceremony and their wonderful stay at the Inn at Evergreen. Also, the honeymoon suite at the Inn was a DREAM! We are so happy with how our wedding weekend turned out. Evergreen Country Club is the perfect place to get married! -

Like many brides in 2020, we were devastated when the pandemic hit and we had to cancel our original wedding plans. We decided that we still wanted to have a small ceremony and came across Evergreen Country Club and the Inn at Evergreen. Finding them was the first time that I realized that I might still be able to have a wedding this year - I left our first visit teary eyed. Leah, Lisa, and their teams helped turn a really hard situation into a new vision and I will be forever grateful.
ECC has lots of options for sizing - we had to stay really flexible because up until we few days beforehand we just didn’t know who was comfortable coming and what the restrictions might be. We had about 30 people there and they made it feel like an incredible, intimate, personal - and very real wedding - not a smaller version of the original wedding that we had cancelled. We set up chairs spaced out in the gardens and then moved to the reception indoors. They managed to give people space without it feeling cavernous. Everything was perfect and they were so patient and accommodating the whole time. After everything, I honestly feel okay that our original wedding was canceled, and that’s because the wedding we ended up with was better. The idyllic mountaintop background for the garden ceremony, the stunning and luxurious rooms for our families to stay in at the Inn at Evergreen, and the professionalism and expertise of the ECC staff all added up to be a wonderful weekend. I would recommend the location to any bride looking for her wedding ceremony - big or small! -

This venue is a one stop shop. It has everything that is needed for your wedding day. Gorgeous scenery, lodging on site, breathtaking venue for your ceremony, beautiful reception area, lots of great places to take your bride and groom pictures and an AMAZING staff. Evergreen country club was our first choice and no other venues compared. Leah made sure everything went over perfectly that day meeting all of our needs and answering all of our questions. All of our guests complimented how spectacular this location was, especially in the fall. Evergreen Country Club will always hold a special place in our hearts forever. -

When we toured ECC, my husband and I knew almost immediately that we wanted to hold our wedding reception there. From the beautiful Civil War-era Inn, to the manicured landscape, and rolling mountains - it was everything we could have wished for. Leah and Cassi were very responsive to our questions and worked with us to make our dream come true. We brought our parents to the tasting and everyone loved the food - including all the guests at our reception! Our wedding day ran smoothly and flawlessly. Evergreen Country Club was fantastic and a joy to work with. With a late March wedding the weather was bound to be iffy, but Evergreen offered to set up both inside and outside locations just incase (luckily the weather cooperated!).
Leah (our point of contact) was professional, helpful, and always answered any of our (many, many) questions promptly and thoroughly and kept in touch as the day approached. She walked us through the rehearsal the day before, and made sure we were taken care of in the bridal suite the day-of. This was especially helpful since my mother and aunt have mobility issues; Leah and her crew were fantastic helping them. (Mom stayed at the Inn at Evergreen and loved it). They were extremely accommodating when we needed to finagle some of the timing, and they made it easy to drop off decorations, desserts etc. the day before.
The food was fantastic! Our guests were talking about the food days later (seriously, get the whipped potatoes, you will not regret it) and they let us bring in extra desserts to supplement theirs. And the outside balcony was perfect to step away and get some fresh air at our cigar bar. At our request they even made up “to-go” bags with left overs for us so we could actually relax and enjoy the food later that night!
We certainly recommend the Evergreen Country Club. The scenic location and friendly service make this venue a must see. -

I knew from the moment I stepped on the Evergreen lot that I wanted to have our wedding there. The venue is breathtaking and full of charm. From the outdoor ceremony venue to the Bridal Suite, I was so impressed by every facet of professionalism and beauty in Evergreen. Our pictures look AMAZING, and the backdrop of the rolling hills of home make them lovingly nostalgic as well.
Leah was sweet and personable, prompt in responding to emails and getting information, flexible in dealing with changes and a powerhouse all around! The day of was HOT, and the team made sure our wedding party and photographers were hydrated and fed! I’ve heard from so many couples that they were unable to eat at their wedding, but we were specifically brought food so that we could stay focused on the important things. The Hors d'oeuvres and Dinner were all amazing! Our wedding was stress-free and wonderful, and the Evergreen team contributed so much to that! Thank you Evergreen! -

First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous on its own. The stone garden with the mountains in the background is stunning. The event coordinator, Leah, was amazing. She responded to all of my questions extremely quickly, even when she was on maternity leave, and was so helpful. The day of my wedding I didn't have to stress over making sure anything was set up or that everything was in place because she had it all handled. The overall price is pretty good especially for the Northern Virginia area. I highly recommend the Evergreen, they were a huge part of making my wedding day feel perfect. -

The venue is gorgeous, The Inn with the Bridal Suite is beautiful and the mountains behind you are breath taking! The food was also amazing! Some pictures online show that they have forest green carpet where the reception is but those pictures are old (they are now a neutral color) so don't let that defer you from checking out the venue! So thankful I found this hidden gem and the team at Evergreen.

I was so worried about the planning process being a pain and disorganized because of the time difference and just in general planning from across the country, but I chose the perfect place. I don't have the words to express how happy we were with how everything turned out, it was just AMAZING. Leah, the director, was extremely helpful, on top of the ball, and helped us relax on our special day... I don't really feel like I did much to be honest because she took all the stress off of our backs. I wanted to mention we did a different menu for the wedding and they did not give us a hard time about it. The food was unreal. I still have guests from our wedding texting me about how they wish they were eating what we served at the wedding. We also rented out the Inn for our wedding party and it was just stunning. Everything about our wedding was BEAUTIFUL. As I mentioned before, we planned this from across the country and I was not expecting our wedding to be everything I dreamed of... Now I can say we had our dream wedding, plus some :) Thank you to everyone at Evergreen for making everything spectacular! -

Lisa Sent on 11/11/2015I went out to a bridal event at Evergreen this past Winter, and once I saw the mountains, stone garden, and bridal suite, I was hooked! I kept turning down locations that decided it would be ok to stick a bride and her party, into a conference room or classroom. Evergreen has a beautiful, spacious bridal suite for the party to get ready in as early as they want-they only allow for one event the whole day which is great. There are even 4-5 chairs in front of mirrors as if you are in a celebrity dressing room; it was perfect. The coordinator there, Carson, was so sweet and accommodating. She was there for anything we needed, and anything she wasn't sure they could do, she helped me figure out a way to make things work. The stone garden has a Celtic look to it, and is GORGEOUS with the trees and mountains in the background. Everyone couldn't stop raving about the view. We lucked out and had a warm sunny day with clear skies this past October. Still the inside is very beautiful with dark wood and dark carpet; nothing to stand out and clash with décor thank goodness. Also, we modified their menu to offer lots of fall related dishes, and they were able to make them AND tasted wonderful. They even offer up-lighting for a STEAL! Definitely check into going with Evergreen! -

Overall it's been a wonderful experience so far. We haven't had the big day yet but planning has been a breeze! (They even include candle centerpieces for those like me who don't want to do a huge floral arrangement) -

Ashley Sent on 10/10/2014We had a wedding reception at Evergreen and were very pleased, especially with the delicious food and helpful staff. The wedding pictures came out gorgeous, especially with the water fountain and mountain backdrop to the beautiful golf course. There are so many scenic spots within walking distance around the main building in which to take pictures. The event planners at the country club (Danielle and Brooke) were very sweet and accommodating. They were so helpful in answering all of our questions, helping to coordinate the wedding, and honoring our special requests to make our day extra personalized and special. I also recommend hiring Danielle or Brooke for the “day of coordinator” because they were great at catering to our needs, making sure everything ran smoothly. The servers and staff at the country club were all so helpful and efficient, too. I highly recommend Evergreen for any catered event. -

Lisa Sent on 10/11/2011wow! evergreen was awesome! i cannot say enough great things about this place...they had both weather contingency plans set up right until the ceremony (since rain was threatening), had all items i dropped off at rehearsal already set up the day of the wedding, pinned boutonnieres, directed people traffic, passed hor d'oerves to the bridal party during pictures, etc. brooke edwards is fantastic as their director of events and her nightshift event manager (brenda) was equally great. the staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating, and professional.
here's the best part - the food was AWESOME! wedding food has a bad reputation as mass-produced and 'blah-tasting' but our food was fantastic and everyone complimented on it. all in all, the day was fantastic. no problems that i know about, everything was perfect and Evergreen was a huge part of that. thanks brooke and brenda :) -

Karen Sent on 05/14/2010My husband and I are members at Evergreen, but when we first contacted them (a year ahead of time), the date we wanted was not available. Because of this, we looked at many other venues in the area. We felt that hotels and event centers charged WAY to much money--we looked at a place in Leesburg that wanted $7,000 just to rent the room...! We found a couple of other possibilities but still had our heart set on Evergreen. If you have not been out there yet, go check the location. It is located at the base of Bull Run Mountain and the scenery is gorgeous. There is also an old manor house that is being restored which is an excellent place for some photographs.
When I mentioned to Bryan, the club manager, that we were disappointed to not be able to have our reception at Evergreen, he immediately responded that maybe there was some way they could persuade the other party to move their date. I don't know what they said or did, but they made it happen. I'm so glad because the reception was a HUGE success.
Other reviewers have talked about Brooke. Let me add my very strong endorsement for her responsiveness, professionalism and all around niceness. She coordinated all the vendors, the room looked AMAZING, and she kept the reception on track by reminding us of the time and what we were to be doing at any given moment. Our reception was very simple--no bouquet toss, no garter--only first dance and cake cutting, but the time FLEW by and I would not have remembered any of it without her.
The food? We were able to meet with the chef, Jim Morris, and talk about the menu that we wanted to serve. None of their packages exactly fit what we had in mind. Our goal was to have our guests talking about how good the meal was--we are avowed foodies and wanted to make the meal special. Jim worked with us and designed a tasting that was superlative. We told him in advance our ideas for appetizers and the menu and he created a wonderful meal. We had a shrimp appetizer that was served in martini glasses and stacked on a table in the room where cocktails were served. We also had a passed small antipasto plate and their high end fruit and cheese display. I never got to eat any of it--too busy, but everyone told me the appetizers were delicious. The meal was EXCELLENT--Jim went above and beyond and people raved about the food. More than one person told me they had never been to a wedding reception where the food was so good.
Leo, the club manager, and Jim worked with us to select two wines that would pair well with the meal. We had an open bar, but wanted to have a wine service with dinner. The wines were excellent and they didn't break the bank.
There have been other comments about value for the money--we had 84 people at the reception with a sit down dinner and open bar and the bill was around $10,000 (including room rental, bar, wine, taxes, service charges...everything). My ONLY complaint is that it was all over too soon! The bar closed at 10:00 and people kept hanging around...the DJ kept playing music and people kept dancing. The staff finally had to turn on the lights to encourage people to disperse!
Bottom line--if you're in the Manassas/Gainesville/Haymarket area and looking for a reception venue, be sure and check out Evergreen. They will not disappoint. -

It rained a little on our wedding day and the staff was so quick to move everything around and get it set up inside, which turned out to be even more beautiful than if it was outside. The set up and change over after the ceremony was like 5 minutes, they were so quick and organized with everything. I loved all of it! Leah was extremely helpful and patient (even with 60-some emails sent back and forth in the final two weeks lol), very calm and reassuring, she just made me very comfortable and excited, not nervous about anything. The food was delicious, however expensive!! Eek! That’s the ONLY thing I didn’t absolutely love, was the price of food. It is pricy, but I heard only great things about the food from everyone, and they were very helpful with any dietary needs of my guests, and my gluten free guests said it was DELICIOUS! Regardless of price, I’d still recommend this venue to anyone—it was stunning and the staff was incredible! Thank you for making our day amazing!
