Sandy will tailor the ceremony to your specific values, morals, and personalities. Many of our guests said it was the best ceremony they've ever attended. She spoke in words that we understood and felt comfortable making our vows to. She made it touching, funny, and so heartfelt. All of us (including the groom and myself) were laughing and crying. I'm so grateful we chose someone who spoke of our relationship on such a personal level. Sandy is a gem- you will not find a better person to be your officiant!

After Sandy performed our ceremony, we kept getting pulled aside by guests to tell us how great she was! She's the perfect blend of humorous and serious! The flower crown is a great touch. And worth every bit of $350, by far NOT the most expensive officiant you'll Google. If you want your guests to be entertained instead of bored out of their minds at "just another wedding", get Sandy. You won't regret it!

Sandy was absolutely wonderful. You could tell she truly loves what she does and cares to make your day as magical as you've imagined it. We were so lost on how the ceremony would go and she made us so comfortable. We kept getting comments all night about how much everyone loved her! And most importantly, so did we!

Everything about Sandy and what she does is amazing. I saw her marry one of our family friends and was in love with the ceremony and at the time I told my parents no matter who I end up marrying, she will be the one to do it for us! She is the funniest, most kind and caring lady. Everything about our ceremony was amazing and received so many compliments on her! I could listen to her for hours, she has her way of talking and honestly I could never get bored. Thank you so much for everything Sandy, Eric and I only wish to have what you and Bob have! I will miss our random email exchanges! Love you!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the people who made our wedding so special and unique. Sandy and her husband Bob are an incredibly gracious, kind, and generous couple. It is apparent this is Sandy's calling, as although she makes what she does appear so very natural, we know the effort and time she put into making our day beautifully memorable. She and her husband opened their home and hearts to us, and through inviting us to do the same, she created an amazing, individualized ceremony for us. We are so glad we made the choice to contact her and have her carefully chosen words, oozing of wisdom, as the poetry accompanying the start of our lives together. We will never forget how they treated us, and made us feel on one of the most important days of our lives.

Rev. Sandy was the best choice for us. We spent a while getting to know each other, she really took an interest in us and our families. Not to mention the attention she paid to our style and religious preferences. She was able to customize our ceremony to fit US and our personalities. She's very responsive and reliable. On top of all this, she's amazing at officiating, her personality and sense of humor made our ceremony not only special but it wasn't BORING! Can you believe it? People will be talking about our ceremony for a long time thanks to Rev. Sandy. We absolutely love her like family.

AMAZING. Had so many compliments on Sandy and our ceremony. It was so perfect and made just for us. She gave us a book of every word of our ceremony and her husband took pictures as a bonus! She sent us the CD of the pictures within a week! She was so amazing and genuine and really got to know us prior to the ceremony. We were a little off the beaten path as a couple and she catered to us perfectly. I could not have asked for a better ceremony or officiant. She was down right amazing and I would recommend her in a heart beat!

Sandy was truly amazing! She ensured that our wedding was all that we dreamed of. We even threw a curve ball with some surprise homing pigeons and she rolled with it with two days notice! She was witty and made our guest laugh-it made for a very light-hearted wedding. Just what we were looking for! It felt like we knew her for years! I contacted Sandy after our original officiant had to back out of our wedding and I was a little concerned that she wouldn't be able to perform the ceremony on shorter-than-average notice, but she was more than willing. She's unique, sweet, entertaining, and very easy to talk with. She performed a ceremony that was personalized just for us and everyone there was speaking fondly of her afterwards. There isn't a single thing I would have asked her to do differently and my husband and I are so happy that we now have memories of a sweet, unique ceremony! I really cannot recommend her enough :)

When we first met Sandy in person we knew that we had found the right officiant for our wedding. She is charming, sweet, and absolutely adorable in every possible way. The extra little details that she put into our ceremony really made it something special. Her words were heartfelt and sincere, and many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed. We couldn't have made a better choice with anyone else. We were married on 10.24.15 and used Ever After Weddings for our officiant. I actually found them online while doing a search for an officiant. The company name stood out to me because it reminded me of the movie, Ever After (a take on the Cinderella story). When I met with Sandy, I realized she was perfect. Sandy is kind, funny, quite sassy, and seems to genuinely enjoy marrying people. She went over what she would say, asked my now-husband and I for our input and actually brought me to tears when I realized how special it was going to be.

Sandy was great about answering all of my questions leading up to the big day and was more than willing to incorporate some vows that we had written. Her lovely nature put me at ease.

Fast forward to our rehearsal and a woman named Sarah came up to me and introduced herself as our officiant. I was a bit confused until she explained that Sandy and her husband were having some personal issues and she was filling in. (I knew about these issues but didn't know that Sandy had a "back up" - how nice to know that Sandy was looking out for us!) Sarah was very similar to Sandy in the sense that she was very laid back and go with the flow.

On our wedding day, Sarah's service was great! She had a few prayers, read the vows we had written to each other and made everyone laugh multiple times. She was very free-spirited and that was exactly what we wanted. The only "negative" thing I can say is that everyone stood through our entire service! I'm not sure if that was intentional or if she simply forgot to tell everyone to sit down, but I didn't hear one complaint about it after.

Please look into using Ever After Weddings for your big day - they are wonderful to work with and their price point is great!

Our ceremony was a vow renewal and Sandy prepared the most beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. She made us laugh and cry with her understanding of us and our wonderful life that we share. She listened to what we wanted and she captured so much of our lives in her words. Sandy brought a joy and wonder to our day that we will cherish forever. We plan on rereading the ceremony every year as we continue to grow in our love. All in all she and Bob made our special day one that we will cherish and revisit via pictures and words often.

Sandy was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding officiant. She is funny, genuine, and just loves what she does. We spent about 2 hours with her in her home and knew immediately that she would be the perfect person to marry us. First of all, Sandy and her husband Bob are an amazing couple! There is nothing like sitting at a table while getting to know each other, and figuring out that they are the relationship that anyone and everyone would want for their future. It is very clear that Sandy takes her job seriously, and that she really enjoys the work that she does. She had a list of questions that she went through upon the first meeting and these questions are very simple, but really got into who we were as a couple, and she got to know more and more about us. The simple questions turned into stories and soon enough she knows everything she needs to know to make the most personal and beautiful ceremony speech possible. She hit everyone's heart in some way at our ceremony- we laughed, we cried, and we thought about the work and dedication that love requires. Throughout the night tons of guests would comment on the ceremony and remind us of how special and personal it really was. Lots of people even thought she was a relative or someone who has known us a long time. --- Overall I would recommend Sandy to anyone! She made our ceremony so special to us, and we will never forget her and Bob as we aspire to have a relationship just like theirs one day.

My wedding was so beautiful because of the personal vows that Sandy wrote- she is an awesome lady and the whole wedding was a work of art- I could not imagine anything more touching than the ceremony that Sandy wrote and officiated. I couldn't recommend Sandy enough. The wedding was on the 11th and I keep hearing compliments to send to her regarding how well she did and how fun she made the ceremony and rehearsal. I knew Sandy would be the officiant for me long before I was even engaged. I had known her through Facebook and she has a way of writing and presenting her personality online that is always so wonderful, honest and witty and it translated beautifully over to my event when it was finally time for Ed and I to be married. Some of the highlights were her sense of humor, her uniqueness, and "tying" our hands with the flower crown she made. She listened to our wants and was a trooper through our many wedding party mix ups (we had to change 3 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen over the past year for various reasons). If you want someone who is authentic, skilled, and whose warm personality with come through and leave a positive impression on you and your guests then I would absolutely choose Everafter Weddings. You will be so glad you did.

Words cannot express how wonderful Sandy was for our wedding and how lucky we were to have her officiate our ceremony. She was caring, funny, and just special! Everyone loved her! My friends and family thought she was so great and I still have people asking about her and giving her rave reviews for the unique and personal ceremony she gave for us.

We met with Sandy a couple times before the wedding to go over everything we wanted and so she could get to know us. She came to our rehearsal on time and was prepared.

At the ceremony the day of she had our ceremony typed and in a binder that we could keep for memories in the future.

Sandy officiated my daughter, Ashley's wedding this past weekend. She was absolutely wonderful. She made the ceremony personal and very enjoyable. Ashley and Matt said she was wonderful to work with and they were extremely happy with their choice. I had numerous friends and family come up to me at the reception to remark on how this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. Some asked for her contact information for future reference. I could not more highly recommend Sandy. She is wonderful!!

Sandra was absolutely WONDERFUL! We called just a few hours before the time we wanted to get married, and we were on a tight schedule. She did not hesitate to accommodate us to the fullest. Our wedding was a same-sex marriage, and she did such a beautiful job of presenting us with an incredible ceremony. We laughed, cried, and cheered throughout the 25 minute vow reading and ceremony. Because it was such short notice, we had no idea what the ceremony would be like, or what we would be presented with. Her husband provided photography, and we are very satisfied! Her readings, quotes, advice, and approach really made this commitment to each other PERFECT for us. We drank from the German Wedding cup in the Unicorn den of her home in Benton Park, St. Louis and we will always remember and hold that dear to us. As my wife and I are eclectic and unique, so was our wedding. We absolutely could not have asked for a more memorable and meaningful marriage! Her and her husband are two of the most kind and humble individuals we have had the pleasure of meeting, and their warm personalities really made it all that much more special. They gave us a bottle of wine afterwards, which we will always keep as a memory!

I know I am a bit late in getting the review in, but I just wanted to say OMG!!!. This was the best that I could ever imagined. Sandy was the absolute best. I still have people coming up to me even today telling me how much they enjoyed her free spirited nature. Nothing about the wedding was "traditional" by any means. But she did cater to us and gave us not what we wanted but more then we wanted. She went above and beyond what any of us would have expected. My Aunt and Uncle stated to me that on their 50th anniversary they are going to use Sandy because she was just of joy and spunk. We all laughed more then we cried, and I do believe even Sandy even shed a tear or two. Thank you again for making our day the best we could have imagined.

Simply put, Sandy is amazing. She is the most caring, genuine, honest person you can have officiate your wedding. The best part about working with Sandy is seeing how much she loves love. This is not a job for her but a deep passion. She is completely committed to you and your wedding and makes you feel like you are the only people in the world who matter. Years ago, I attended a wedding presided over by Rev. Sandra LaRouche of EverAfter, and thought it to be unique, interesting, fun and intelligent, and I thought if I ever marry, I will certainly have Rev. LaRouche officiate at my wedding even if she has to share the duties with another due to the insistence of my bride whomever she may be. Twenty years or so later, I did marry, and Rev LaRouche was the only officiant, and the wedding was again unique, interesting, fun, and intelligent. I do not know if any of my guests told her how much they enjoyed the service, but many came to me to say how much and how refreshing the service was. I have just enjoyed my tenth anniversary, and whereas I so much enjoyed her service, I don't think that I will engage her again for my weddings, as I now have such a happy marriage. I would without question wholeheartedly recommend EverAfter weddings to anyone wanting a happy marriage.

Sandy goes the extra mile to ensure your day is special. She does not do anything you are not comfortable with. We only had one consultation before the wedding, which was very convenient for us. Sandy knows people and knows the right things to say. I would recommend Sandy to officiant any type of wedding, traditional or nontraditional. We were her 928th wedding. She puts as much care and dedication into each and every wedding. She went the extra mile for me on my special day. She went to the store and bought me some sparkling grape juice because I told her I could not drink alcohol. She lives near downtown St. Louis, she did not complain or charge, that I can remember, for a 45 minute drive to my venue. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have met Sandy and Bob. After the wedding, Sandy got the marriage license in on time, I was able to pick up my copy of the marriage license in 5 business days. Sandy and Bob mailed me a CD with wedding photos they took.

For the sake of those reading this review, I hope to keep it concise, but there are so many wonderful things to say about Sandy.
Trying to choose someone to create a meaningful ceremony for my husband and I (at a reasonable price) left me feeling utterly lost. I was planning my wedding from out-of-town, so I had to choose an officiant without actually meeting them. Aside from the wealth of positive reviews from other happy couples, my first tip that Sandy was the right choice was our email correspondence. She was prompt and professional about all the logistics but also candid and humorous, helping to relax my nerves. When my husband and I were finally able to meet Sandy for a planning session a couple weeks before our wedding, she welcomed us into her home like old friends. Sandy is one of those rare souls that can make you feel immediately at ease; she made us laugh, told us stories, and welcomed our ideas with enthusiasm. She helped us plan a beautiful ceremony and even took notes for me during our meeting so that I could create a program for our guests.
Sandy made sure our rehearsal ran smoothly and was proactive about communicating details of the ceremony to the photographer and musician. And when the big day finally arrived, the ceremony that Sandy put together for my husband and I was perfect; she struck the most wonderful balance between moments rooted in tradition and moments unique to just us. Our guests laughed and cried tears of joy and afterwards commented repeatedly about how well the ceremony fit the two of us. Sandy's husband, Bob, captured lovely moments from our ceremony, which Sandy promptly transferred to a CD and mailed to us.
Sandy ensured that our wedding ceremony was such a spectacular expression of our love, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts.

We want to start by saying thank you to Sandy & her husband Bob for being so incredible, so open, so friendly, so supportive, so perfect for exactly who we are & what we were looking for in our officiant! We searched for a very long time to find someone who was the right fit for our ceremony. We could not have asked for anyone more perfect than Sandy on our special day. She had no qualms about traveling 70 miles outside of St. Louis to a Castle. Once we found Sandy, which her business name drew us in initially we visited her site, excited that she was just by her written words, the perfect fit. We emailed her & within the next hour she had already responded, we only had a month until the ceremony. Very fast response time and gladly worked us into her busy schedule. She was so flexible schedule wise and such a fun lady that our meeting lasted 2 1/2 hours. Sandy really took the time to know us and we got to share great stories back & forth in the process. We both know that no matter what style or ceremony she is requested for she would certainly make it perfect. What an incredible match of personalities and spirit. The ceremony was beautiful and fun which is everything we wanted and more. We implemented Wine Sharing (ask her about "lady with the basket on her head" funny story!), hand fasting to which she created beautiful handmade laurels full of beautiful fresh flowers the aroma was overwhelmingly amazing, & not to mention she was completely down with the idea we had to make our entrances w/ handmade torches to light a singular torch together. We did the Vow and Ring exchange & she even added a little surprise element at the end. Bob who is Sandy's loving hubby and retired STL Dispatch Photographer snapped great pics! It was all incredible. Our family & friends loved her & are STILL talking about her & our ceremony! Everyone thought we had known each other for years! Best Officiant ever says us & the crowd! Thank you so much Sandy! You are truly special & awesome!

Sandra was wonderful! She worked with my husband and I to make our day perfect! She is full of great ideas and stories. Everyone loved her, not just us! Sandy helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect and a day that we will remember forever. She took the time to get to know my husband and I, which made our ceremony personal and heartfelt. By then end of our time working together, I knew that Sandy truly cared for us and wished us the best, which showed in the ceremony! Our guest were laughing and crying all at the same time and we received many, MANY compliments on our ceremony. Sandy is amazing at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone!

We met with Sandy and were immediately at ease with her. We had no idea what we wanted other than a small and intimate wedding. She spent the time getting to know us and made suggestions that made our wedding special to us. The ceremony was personal and written just for us. She has a gift for blending the solemn occasion into a joyous one. We couldn't have been happier with the service.

Sandy was always professional with every question or concern I had, and I never felt rushed talking with her. She not only helped us have a wonderful ceremony but helped us with ideas about our reception as well.

Sandy was an absolute joy to work with. She met with us a while before the wedding just so she could get to know us. Then she added a very definitive flair to our ceremony that really made it click with our personalities. She kept it sweet and lighthearted. There were some tears and much laughter at our ceremony, and it went off without a hitch (although, I did get hitched). As an added bonus, her husband is a retired St. Louis Post Dispatch photographer and he takes a few pictures of your ceremony, which I think is quite nice of him. Literally EVERYONE I spoke with at the reception commented on what a wonderful ceremony it was and how great Sandy is. You will not be sorry you contacted Sandy for your own special day. And, frankly, I'm very surprised she doesn't cost more. She was the cheapest aspect of our ceremony and was by far the most remarkable, aside from my lovely wife, that is. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and talk to Sandy!

Sandy is absolutely fabulous! Once we met her, we knew we were in good hands. She was great about emailing me back right away and keeping the line of communication open. We received compliments and inquiries about Sandy from almost all of our guests. They all said it was one of the most special, unique, and intimate weddings they had ever attended.They also loved that the ceremony wasn't so stuffy-- Sandy had everyone laughing a few times. Sandy helped us incorporate many special details into the ceremony that truly made it one of a kind. We could not have been more pleased with the way our ceremony went.

I could have never imagined that my wedding would be as great as it was. Sandy made EVERYONE Laugh and cry. It was so heartfelt and sweet. I love this women!! 80% of my guest were crying. I never thought that would have happened.She talked about Brandon and I instead of just reading from the Bible. Im a religious person but a wedding should be about us and not just a church service. I have been to alot of boring weddings and my was the farthest from that. She even made my husband cry... Soo sweet!! Sandy you truely are an amazing person!!!

We didn't know who we wanted to officiate our wedding or even where to begin looking for someone who would be the right fit. We were recommended to Sandy by a family friend and could not have been luckier. From the moment we sat down to talk with her at her house (which was a several hour conversation and felt like catching up with an old friend) we knew that she was the perfect person to perform our wedding. She does not perform a cookie cutter service but instead learns about the couple and incorporates this into her service. We had children from a previous marriage that she included in the service with a speach to them and promises made between all of us. The ceremony was a perfect combination of sentimental and humor and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

I will say I was very hopeful that she would be the one that would give us the personalization that we were seeking. Our first meeting with her we just sat there and talked for a little over 2 hours, she took the time get to know us as individuals and a couple which was something we were very much looking for. I would very much recommend Sandy to an bride that DOESNT want the " 8 minute insert names here " experience. She was Awesome!

10 years ago I attended a funeral of a friends grandmother and Sandy was the minister for the service. She was absolutely beaming and told beautiful stories. I have never felt so much love and happiness at a funeral. At that moment I knew that one day she would be the minister who would marry my future husband and I. Fast forward 10 years and I had to figure out who this amazing woman was and I prayed my heart out that she would be available. I tracked her down and my prayers were answered, she was available! After officially meeting her, I fell in love with her all over again. She has the most loving and joyful spirit. She took time to ask us personal details of our lives so she could incorporate them into our ceremony. I mentioned to her that I was making my daughters dress for the wedding and she GAVE me a gorgeous vintage wedding dress to use the fabric! She has a heart of gold! Our wedding day arrived and our ceremony could not have been more perfect. She is not your typical wedding minister. There will be no yawning in your audience. Our guess laughed, cried, listened, and thoroughly enjoyed every detail of our ceremony. It's been 2 weeks and we are still getting calls, emails, texts (you name it) asking who our amazing minister was and telling us that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. As if it wasn't enough, today I received a letter from Sandy with a disc of beautiful pictures her husband captured during the ceremony. She has really went above and beyond! I can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. She made our wedding what it was and we will forever be grateful to her. We love you Sandy!!!

The wonderful things that I can say about Sandy are endless when it comes to how great she was when planning my commitment ceremony last week!!! She had endless great ideas & really just made the process as painless as it could be! Sandy has such a calming & feisty personality all at the same time! I did extensive research online to find the perfect officiant for our March wedding. I was planning our St. Louis wedding from Dallas, Texas. Her reviews were spectacular, but in person, she is even more so. My husband met her for the first time when we met her in her home for our initial consultation. She was very thorough about what we wanted our ceremony to be and offered her years of experience to guide us when we weren't sure what to do. After that meeting all my husband could say was " She was awesome!".

Our ceremony was beautiful! She was the perfect mix of spiritual, emotional and humorous. We received so many compliments on the service and so many people wanted to know how we had found her because they were so impressed. It was such a personal service and made it that much more special. We received more compliments/comments on Sandy than any other aspect of our wedding! She is truly wonderful and really does believe in true love and happily ever after for couples. You will be truly delighted to have Sandy as your officiant. We certainly were!

I can't say enough positive things about Sandy. She was the heart and soul of our ceremony. When I first contacted Sandy, I admit I was a little anxious-- my mother was already appalled that we were not going to be wed in a Catholic Church, and was even more so when she discovered that a woman would be officiating our outdoor ceremony. In my family, weddings are performed in churches by priests-- while my now-husband and I were both spiritual, we did not belong to a church and really could not have imagined any place where we'd feel closer to God than in the beautiful outdoors which he created.
Sandy was dedicated to creating the perfect ceremony for us from the start. We met with her personally at her home and at the end of the evening I had complete trust in her that she would perform a ceremony special to both my husband and I while satisfying the religious components my mother was hoping for. Throughout the planning process which spanned over the course of a few months, Sandy was prompt to respond to emails and helped outline everything I needed to know while preparing for the ceremony. She included my special demands into her planning and when the big day came, I was so relieved having her up there with us. After the ceremony, everyone commented on what a beautiful job she did and how our ceremony was so unique and entertaining. It has been three months and people are STILL talking about how great our officiant was! The photographs she sent a few weeks later, which were taken by her husband Bob, were a bonus-- he managed to catch some of the special moments that even our own photographer missed!
Thank you so much, Sandy and Bob. Getting to know you during that hectic time was an incredible blessing. You have an amazing gift! We will always remember both of you when we reminisce about our wedding.

From our first meeting, I knew Sandy was the one we wanted to officiate our wedding. She was warm, friendly, and truly cared about us and what we wanted in our ceremony. And we wanted a lot of different elements to incorporate our Filipino traditions. We put her to work and she was able to do a fantastic job adding our traditions. She also provided calmness especially during our ceremony, which was outside and began to storm with thunder and lightning and even a little bit of hail! At that point, I was so upset, but she made me feel like everything was going to be okay and so we continued the ceremony indoors and still made it memorable.
She truly is the best at what she does and always wants to make sure she does her very best. My family and guests truly enjoyed the ceremony, and of course my husband and I will never forget it. She truly made our wedding special and memorable.

Sandy LaRouche "Pastor Prime" performed the perfect wedding ceremony for us. My husband and I reconnected thirty five years after high school. I came home from Europe for a week to marry him and then we both came back to Europe to live. We felt so lucky that in such a short time Sandy was able to put together a ceremony that made us laugh and cry. It has been seven years, and we still go back and reread the ceremony from time to time, and we still laugh and cry. It was a great start to what has turned out to be a perfect marraige for us!

We didn’t like Sandy…WE LOVED HER!!!

I found Sandy on this sight and contacted her because of her great rating. 5 minutes into our meeting with her, we knew we wanted to hire her. It wasn’t like meeting with someone for the first time and going over the formalities of a wedding, it was more like catching up with a family friend. She just made us feel comfortable and welcomed from the start. During our meeting, she asked various questions about our family and religion so she could get an idea of the type of service to perform. She never once came off as judgmental when we mentioned that my husband had been married before, or that I am an atheist and didn’t want a religious-based ceremony. She truly was happy to give us the wedding we were dreaming of.
We called Sandy the next day and told her we would love for her to do our wedding. She asked if I was sure, since I hadn’t talked to any other officiants yet. I told her I didn’t need to and we knew without a doubt that she would be perfect.
She was easy to communicate with during the wedding planning process and she was always available to answer questions. At the rehearsal dinner, she did a simply amazing job of bringing everybody together and keeping everyone on task. She made everyone feel comfortable with their role in the wedding and gave us peace of mind that it would go smoothly.
The wedding itself was simply perfect. It was the perfect balance of sentimental, emotional, and funny. She kept it light-hearted and meaningful. She somehow managed to phrase things in a manner that would be meaningful and appropriate to people of all religious backgrounds.
At the reception (and still to this day, for that matter) we had people asking us where we found her. Everyone loved how different she was and said she did a great job. 2 friends have even booked her for their weddings! I cannot say enough things about how great Sandy is!

Oh gosh, I don't even know where to start with explaining how absolutely incredible it was for Sandy to marry my husband and me. For starters, we live out of state, and contacting her and coming up with a plan for meeting over Easter was a piece of cake. We felt very welcome in Bob and her home, and she was in no hurry to get us out the door despite that she had just performed a ceremony that afternoon. She was very receptive and even excited about our unorthodox wedding and readings and incorporated them beautifully. We had the most gorgeous, intimate, spare ceremony in Augusta's Klondike Park on June 1 of this year, and I know that the harmonious nature of the entire event had a lot to do with us choosing Sandy to officiate. She is an intensely happy and accepting person, who you would swear you've known for the better part of your life. I would recommend her a hundred times over!

And, Sandy, despite the fact that my younger sister has no prospective husband as of yet, she wanted your number. So I won't be the last Jalack girl you usher into marriage!

Sandy was FANTASTIC!!! She gets to know you from the very beginning and wants to make the ceremony all about you as a couple, which makes it very special. Sandy La Rouche was recommended to me by a friend that had attended a wedding service that she preformed and was so moved by the service I knew that we had to have her for our daughters wedding. Sandy provided us the perfect ceremony for our Greco-Roman inspired wedding! We could not have found anyone better to officiate and consecrate our wedding! In addition to the traditional exchange of vows and rings, our unique ceremony included a honey & walnut rite-a tradition practiced in the Greek Isles, a wine ceremony utilizing a traditional German Nuremberg cup, and a lovely handfasting using a handcrafted wreath of fresh herbs and flowers! Members of our families come from very different spiritual backgrounds and EVERYONE loved the ceremony! I still have guests asking how and where I found her-at the wedding reception we had two couples ask for her info because they wanted her to marry them! Even a good friend of mine who is the roughest-toughest, survivalist-archaeologist type told me that Sandy's words brought him to tears! Travis and I feel truly blessed that we had Sandy preside over our ceremony. She does Christenings too, so we look forward to having Sandy-the sweetest and purest soul I have had the honor to meet-bless our future children!

Sandy was wonderful and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, considerate, flexible, and hard working officiant. We had a smaller wedding at her home and the value for service was remarkable. Also, she made these beautiful fresh flower head wreaths for the girls. She is exteremly flexible on the where and how, also the ceremony was tailored to our needs and didn't seem like a rehearsed "Dearly Beloved" type ceremony. When you meet Sandy you can tell she loves her job and will be involved in making your wedding perfect. Thank you Sandy and Bob for sharing with us a most special day of our lives.

Sandy was fantastic! We met with her a few months before our date to get to know her and tell her a little about ourselves and what we were looking for in our wedding. She gives a very personalized service and tailors it to the couple whom she's marrying. She spoke clearly so that all could enjoy the service and knows numerous wedding rituals that the couple can choose if they'd like to include them. The theme of our wedding was vintage romance and Sandy fit right in, giving a ceremony centered on love, joy, and celebrating the day that was our wedding day! We absolutely loved her!

Sandy was absolutely FABULOUS. We had a rather unusual ceremony and Sandy helped us create something wonderful and unique. Her professionalism was outstanding. Considering the weather (it was outside) and the uniqueness of the ceremony--her flexibility was outstanding and she just flowed with it. It came across as seamless. What a pro!!! Sandra, First off I apologize for the review that gave you a 4.7 from our October 14 wedding. The review was suppose to be all 5's. (Apparently when I clicked on a star a couple of them didn't fill in all the way - if your curser goes across a star it changes automatically) I want everyone reading this to know that Sandra gave 100% of herself to make my daughter's wedding perfect. I was highly satisfied with her services and everything she did. Sandra made the wedding unique and at the same time very touching and sentimental. (We even teared up at the rehearsal!!) I would highly recommend her for any bride that wants her wedding personalized and for a ceremony that will always be remembered.

We loved loved loved Sandy as our officiant for our summer wedding! We lived in Texas but had the wedding in Missouri we only had one chance to meet with Sandy before our wedding and she really got it right! My husband left our first meeting with her saying he wanted her to be his grandma. She is such a lovely women and caring women and she really really knows what she is doing. She loves her job and she is great at it! We were not a typical wedding we had children that she really made feel apart of the whole thing. You can't go wrong with Sandy as your officiant!

Sandra married my husband and I back in 2006. I have referred her 3 times alone this week for my brother in November and two friends.

Sandra, you'll probably remember us. We forgot our marriage license! She was wonderful, the epitomy of cool, calm and collected, and the ceremony was beautiful. We aren't the religious type; she respected our wishes. Everyone was wowed by the ceremony with the herbs and roses and every single person commented on how amazing she was.

Sandra was the minister for a double wedding for both me and my sister. Thanks to Sandra the ceremony was beautiful, memorable, and absolutely perfect. Sandra spent a lot of time tailoring the ceremony to fit all four of our personalities. She was both funny and heartfelt. I had people tell me after the wedding that they'd been to several weddings this summer but that out of all of them our ceremony was the only one they'd remember. If you want the typical boring wedding ceremony look somewhere else. Some unique things we had in our ceremony were the reading of a poem by Johnny Cash, hand fasting, and a wine ceremony. Sandra is one of the most interesting people I've met :) Thank you so much for making our day perfect!!!

We were an out of town couple from the Chicago area who were blindly trying to find a non denominational person to marry us in the St. Louis area. We hit upon Sandy's website and were intrigued by all of the wonderful reviews for her. She insisted on meeting with us in her beautiful home, which we drove five hours to do. It was the best five hours spent on our wedding planning. She had a way of making us, as a couple, feel like we’re old family friends.

She defiantly is one of a kind, and that is what every member of our celebration remembers. They still ask us about our officiant. My Husband and I hold her in our highest regards, and are so thankful that she was VIP in our Wedding Day.

Sandy is just a joy to work with! She took on our wedding on very short notice, yet performed the cutest , most beautiful wedding I could have imagined. She took the time to get to know us, and made our ceremony very personal and unique. Some of our family members thought we had known her for years from the way she spoke of us. Sandy was phenomenal! We couldn't have imagined a better officiant. Since we were coming in from out of state, we were a little uneasy about how things would play out. Sandy was available to us by phone and email whenever we needed her, and despite having multiple weddings in the same weekend, made sure our ceremony was unique and personalized. Some of the aspects of our ceremony we could not have found anywhere else. She is very innovative, and our guests are still talking about how great she was. Groom: I cannot overstate the professionalism, personalized care, and beautiful sincerity that this officiant will bring to your service; Sandy is the one you want, hands down. Even though our wedding was a small one (40 friends and family total), she kept the service so well, it could have been five hundred. Our wedding was a morning ceremony, and she was delighted to accommodate. With her service, she included a binder of her beautiful speech for us.

Bride: I had the luck of attending a wedding where Sandy was officiant, years before I was married. She gave the most beautiful service, I cried, even though I rarely cry at weddings. When it became my turn, I knew I had to hire her. Sandy is very accommodating, and an absolute joy to work with. She is kind, warm, creative, diverse, dedicated, and did I mention funny? Her writing is poetry, and I am sure she would be writing beautiful words filling books, except that instead, she spends her energy writing beautiful words for the many ceremonies she performs throughout the year. Love, Love, LOVE Sandy! She did such a fantastic job officiating for my husband and I. We had a small ceremony and I wanted everyone to be at ease. She accomplished that by her little quips throught the ceremony. She put our minds at ease whenever we had a question about when to do or say something or where to be. She guided us through the whole process. She includes personal details about your lives that make the ceremony very specific to you. She incorporates your children when you want (LOVE her Family Circle ceremony) and mentions relatives that have passed away. We had SO MANY COMPLIMENTS about Sandy at the reception. Everyone asked if we knew her....and I told them we were just LUCKY to find her!! If you need an officiant, don't take my word about Sandy - go see her! Go see her demeanor & how she interacts with her husband in their home. See how detailed she gets with YOUR details and the ceremony that YOU want. I had so much fun that night I told everyone - I wish I could get married again, and AGAIN! Well, maybe not to a different person.....ha. My new husband and I first saw Sandy do my friends wedding a few years ago and instantly knew that she was the person to do our wedding. Well, this past Sunday was our wedding and it was perfect! It was relaxed, fun, personalized to us, and not like the stuffy weddings everyone is used to! I got so many compliments on our ceremony. It was exactly like we wanted. Sandy and her husband are two very unique people who know what it means to be in love and that alone makes the weddings Sandy does more special.

We're recommending her to everyone we know and as soon as we decide to have a baby we're going to hire her to do a blessing for our baby too!

Sandy officiated our friends wedding and was such a character. It was the first wedding ceremony I had actually enjoyed listening to and almost at the same time my boyfriend at the time and I looked at each other and said "we ever get married we are using her!" Well, we got engaged and she was the only one we thought of. Sandy, makes your entire wedding special and very tailored to you both. Sandy was born to do this!
She was indispensable at every stage of our wedding, from helping us pick the perfect date to providing the perfect setting. She was comforting and calming and her help made our planning so much less stressful.
We and our guests all felt that it was the most beautiful, personal and meaningful wedding ceremony we'd ever witnessed. Sandy really captured our personalities. Her hand-fasting ceremony was so touching and we really appreciated the written copy of the ceremony. Sandy went above and beyond in so many ways to make our day extra special.
Bob's professional photographs were beautiful and we so appreciate them as well. We've recommended Sandy to everyone we know and our happy experience has inspired some of our friends to consider renewing their vows.

I highly reccomend Sandy to everyone who is getting married. My husband and I are 2 different religions and she used aspects of both for the ceremony. She is warm and caring and takes the time to get to know you as one of her own family which makes the ceremony much friendlier. It is not the typical boring wedding. I think that the guests all laughed and cried and I had so many people comment to me on our wedding being the best wedding they have ever attended. I love that we have the book of the ceremony so that we can look back and read our wedding anytime we wish. She could not have done a better job, it was eactly what a wedding should be.

So many of the guest at my wedding thought Sandy was the best minister ever for a wedding. Several people have asked me for her number for their wedding. It was very unique and special. I have been to several bland weddings and with Sandy, their is no way that it could have been bland.

Sandy was one of our favorite vendors to work with throughout the planning process, and she definitely delivered on our wedding day! You know someone is a top-notch officiant when they accidentally bring the wrong wedding write-up to your ceremony and it still turns out perfectly and customized to you. Sandy is a real pro and everyone at the wedding loved her - I seriously got so many comments about how much fun and how sweet she is! She worked with all of our weirdness and quirks and turned them into a beautiful ceremony - ask for the German wine cup ceremony - so much fun! We loved the flower crown ceremony as well - she even wove in hops from our garden! Her husband also took some great pics at the rehearsal and ceremony. Get her while you can!

Sandy was great. Some of the guests commented on how much they liked the ceremony she made for us and how she put in some of our personal info. She has such a great personality that when you meet her you wish she was your grandma. She was the first officiant we meet with and when we left we knew we did not need to meet with any other.

Sandy and her husband, Bob, were wonderful!!! We had a wonderful and intimate ceremony, despite the short notice that we gave her. They were very helpful when it came to the last minute details and took care of the necessary paperwork when it was all done. She was very accommodating and encouraging when we ran into the minor catastrophes that inevitably plague a wedding. She went out of her way to make the experience very special and personalized for my husband and me. And to top it all off, Bob took some amazing photographs that we will cherish for many years to come.

I was so entirely happy with the services provided by Sandy LaRouche (EverAfter Weddings). She takes the time to customize her "presentation," and she listens to your needs. Sandy married my brother and his wife last year, and we were amazed at how warm and personal she made the ceremony. When my husband and I set the date for our wedding this year, she was the first person we called. We’re not religious, and we didn’t want a stuffy courtroom wedding, so Sandy was perfect for us. Not only was she super flexible with us when our plans kept changing, she also took the time to sit and talk with me and my husband, just getting to know who we are and why we we’re a couple. Because of this, our ceremony was incredibly personal and fun, and we were much more relaxed walking down the aisle toward someone we had already spent time with. Our ceremony was full of laughter and tears (the happy kind), and I don’t think there was a single guest who didn’t tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to (other than my brother’s, of course)! An added bonus, she’s just a sweetheart, one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time. Highly recommended.

Sandy did a great job officiating our wedding last weekend in Tower Grove Park. She really listened to how my husband and I wanted our ceremony to go, and delivered. So many people came up to me after the ceremony and asked how we knew Sandy; they couldn't believe we just met her only once we planned the wedding, because she incorporated so many personal details of our history into the ceremony. I highly recommend her!

The mother earth wedding officiant isn't for everyone, but it worked for us! Sandy spent so much time getting to know us. She truly cared about us as individuals and as a couple, and it was a very nice ceremony-- exactly what we wanted. Spiritual without being religious, and very specific and individualized to our needs. At the same time, because she's so experienced, she had the basic structure and plans for the ceremony laid out for us. This really took the pressure away from creating your own ceremony if you are going the non-Church route. She gave us choices within a structure to choose from, and it turned out very personalized and perfect for us.

Words can not express what a wonderful job Sandy did for our wedding. She met with us beforehand, and gathered information about our personal lives and the wedding party and incorporated some things into our wedding ceremony. During the ceremony, she included a wine sharing ceremony and gave us a printed copy of her script. Our ceremony was very personal and when she was finished, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Afterwards, our guests had nothing but positive things to say about her, I would recommend her to anyone.

This review is not for Sandy who was our first choice of officiate. Sandy was unavailable that weekend, and wrote us the nicest email I've probably ever received from a stranger to tell us so. Instead we worked with her coworker Sarah Kaiser and had a disappointing experience. Sarah was very nice in person at our first meeting, but it really went downhill after that. She was short and uncommunicative in emails, although I refrained from telling her so because who wants to anger the person about to marry you? It was so bad though we half-joked about whether she would even show up or if she'd just taken our money. She didn't seem interested in working with us on the ceremony script and would not send a copy of what she was going to say although this is a pretty common thing to provide - who wouldn't want to know what will be said at their own wedding? The worst was on the day of our rehearsal we were at the ceremony site at 3pm (the time we asked her to meet us to rehearse) looking for our coordinator and both our families, when at 3:03 we received the rudest most unprofessional email from her saying she didn't see us so she was going to leave for a festival she was working at that weekend if she didn't find us. Who waits a mere 3 minutes before sending that kind of email to someone who was paying you to be there? She had my cell number and the coordinator's #, and could have called. If her festival was more important she should've just said no to doing our wedding. The ceremony itself was okay but not as to our taste as it could've been if she'd been more open to working with us. She had to be reminded halfway through the ceremony to ask our guests to sit, and then for our vows we were standing next to each other facing the guests instead of facing each other, which was just awkward. She also told us she would have a microphone and then didn't bring one, and many of our guests couldn't hear. I really wanted to like her, but she needs to work on her professionalism.
