EventsBySarahKY could not have been more wonderful to work with!
Due to some unexpected changes in our lives, we ended up with a 4-month engagement, which was MUCH shorter than we had initially planned. A few weeks into wedding planning, I was in complete panic mode trying to figure out how to plan a wedding on such a short timeline, with a tight budget, and by myself for the most part, all the while having absolutely zero idea what I was doing. With strong encouragement from my now husband (who was growing a little weary from the many meltdowns I was having in the first few weeks of planning, lol!), we met with Sarah to discuss options, and we decided that day-of coordinating would be best for our budget. But "day-of coordination" doesn't even begin to describe how INCREDIBLE her level of service was!
In addition to our initial meeting, Sarah met with us 5 more times over the 90 days leading up to our wedding, usually for 2 hours or more. She helped immensely with decor design and supply (she's got a great personal inventory of items you can use!). She took the time during our meetings to answer my MANY questions and helped me think through things I never would have thought about. She made herself as available as possible to me via email and phone. She was incredibly encouraging, calming, and non-judgmental in her words and demeanor, which meant so much to me in the midst of my stress, overwhelm, and decision fatigue. And at my request, she guided me through the planning process by helping me know what my next steps were and how best to approach them. She gave me her professional opinion when I asked, and she empowered me with the knowledge I needed to make decisions (which I am terrible at doing) and knock out to-dos on my own.
And because of her incredibly intentional preparation, the quality of her guidance to me, and how AMAZING her team executed everything on the day of, we had a wonderful wedding day that truly went off without a hitch! She and her team exceeded expectations at every step of the process, and my husband and I truly don't know what we would have done without them. In fact, even though she went WAY above and WAY beyond in terms of day-of coordination (seriously, she did way more than she should have), my biggest regret is not booking her full package services. We originally opted for the day-of package so we could save some room in our budget, but if you are someone like me who gets extremely stressed by event planning, you know nothing about the wedding industry, you're on a short timeline, and/or you don't have a relative or friend who is able to be heavily involved in the planning process—hear me when I say that, if it's financially feasible for you, it is truly worth EVERY penny to hand off the work to someone else so you can preserve some peace in your engagement season!
In short: DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND HIRE SARAH TO PLAN YOUR WEDDING! My husband and I will always and forever sing her and her team's praises!! They were the biggest blessing of our entire engagement season, and I’m so grateful to have worked with them! -

Sarah was a JOY to work with! I am so so glad we had her on our team. My husband (fiance at the time) and I did not have a lot of extra time to spare to plan our wedding, and hiring Sarah was exactly what we needed. She is super flexible on what she offers, and you can add on so many things that you may need help with. She was extremely organized and responsive, and she helped so much with finding vendors, communicating with them, getting our timeline set, etc. Best of all, she constantly cheered us on and encouraged us, and really ensured that we were getting what WE wanted, not what other people wanted!
Would 100% hire her again!

I chose Sarah's partial wedding planning package and she was so helpful throughout the entire process! She has a great eye for making my wedding style come to life. She was also very organized with coordinating communications with my vendors, which was a big help. She's a great wedding planner than I highly recommend! -

Sarah was amazing from the start. She listened carefully to me and my daughter (the bride, Alex), had great organization and suggestions and kept us on track with gentle reminders and questions. She also had awesome and controlled flexibility. Alex's wedding was supposed to happen outside on the veranda of our venue, but God decided to make it a RECORD cold March day in North Carolina. Sarah maintained her cool -so to speak! - and adapted and managed along with the venue staff to adjust everything to inside which was no small feat in a 175-attendee wedding. Most everything was smooth and flowed perfectly with her managing the wedding and reception components as well as keeping the timeline. Anything that did not flow smoothly was not under her control. I had dubbed her our CEO, Confusion Elimination Officer, early on and she certainly was that! I would highly recommend Events by Sarah for any event. She is incredible! And as an special added bonus, she is a lovely, sweet person. -

Oh my goodness, where to begin with Sarah? What I've told everyone from my wedding planning journey was that Sarah was the best money we could have spent. From the beginning, she was friendly, professional, SO well organized, and perhaps most importantly, undoubtedly in our corner.
While we hired her just for day-of coordination, Sarah did so much work behind the scenes. She worked with us leading up to our wedding day to help get the little details in a row (including making suggestions about things we had forgotten, like lunch on the day-of for the bridesmaids!). We had several meetings discussing preferences, wanting to get to know us well as both clients and friends. Then, when the wedding day arrived, she calmly and proficiently handled everything the day could throw at us - including sub-freezing wind chills and catering mistakes.
Trust me when I tell you that you will have ZERO regrets booking Sarah. She's got your best interests at heart AND she will make sure your event the very best it could be! -

Sarah went above and beyond in everything she did. I would not have been able to enjoy my day without her. Sarah turned out to be our most important vendor. Sarah has been so unbelievably professional. I say that because of her organization, she knew every question to ask, every angle to look at and even though she was extremely professional she was very personable as well. It didn’t feel like buisness it felt like we made a friend that was going out of her way to make everything work for Emily and I. We are so blessed to have had her on our team. By wedding day we knew how she was and because of that we didn’t have a single worry. No matter what went wrong, no matter how big or small, we knew Sarah would take care of it. They say one thing has to go wrong on your wedding day, but our wedding day was absolutely perfect because we had Sarah on our team. Sarah is an amazing coordinator and I'd pick her a million times plus more! If I have any future events, Sarah is number one on my list! I had the opportunity to meet with Sarah several times before our wedding day to work through the day-of events. She was able to create a very detailed day-of timeline. Her timeline was so impressive that every single vendor I booked with complimented her attention to detail and stated they have never worked with a coordinator who was as organized as she is. During the day, Sarah was accomodating and flexible with any mishaps that appeared. She was a life saver! Most of all, Sarah is a genuine person that will go above and beyond for you! -

I hired Sarah for day-of (month-of) coordination. We met several times prior to the wedding. She drafted our timeline down to the minute (and was happy to make the several changes I had along the way). She provided guidance for venue layouts and helped decorate. I asked her to make sure I was not aware of any problems the day of, and she did just that. From my perspective, the day went flawlessly! Sarah was so helpful and did everything with a smile. She and her assistant were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her! -

Sarah went above and beyond for this nervous bride! We needed the assistance of a wedding coordinator only 3 weeks before the wedding (we realized we couldn’t do it ourselves). We handed over all vendor information, things we needed completed, etc and she took care of it. Sarah made us feel at ease with a detailed timeline of the wedding day (which the other vendors and venue appreciated) and helped with anything we asked. Her and her wonderful assistant were professional, friendly, and so organized that I knew I had nothing to worry about. Highly recommend!! -

Sarah and her husband both helped out for our wedding. They did everything we wanted and needed to be done. They were even about to do what I did not know how to say what I wanted done. Sarah was able to get the gist and make it happen! They were such a blessing for us! I do not know what we would have done without them! Thank you Sarah!
