The story starts something like this-Achal and I were and continue to be too extremely busy healthcare professionals with no guarantee in schedule or hours, working in two separate states, with the need to have a wedding in a third state-neither of which we were currently living in. We were recently engaged, and neither one of our families would let us get away without having Big Fat Indian Wedding. This would also be the first and last really big event for both of our immediate families, so there was a lot of pressure and expectations. If I was going to go through with this, I knew I was not willing to let go of my vision of wanting something very unique yet at the same time be able to honor all the traditions that were important to my family. I also wanted to fulfill my vision very close to home, such that everyone that mattered to me can make it.
With so many needs and wants of my own and a groom who was going to be MIA for all of the wedding planning process, I had no idea where to begin. The only thing I knew for sure was that I was going to need help, Lot’s of Help!
Hence, Full Wedding Planning services was the way to go for me, but I needed somebody that I could entrust my vision with-which I was being repeatedly told was close to impossible in the NJ/NYC area. I had interviewed over 15 wedding planners in the NYC tri-state area…but after getting off the phone with Srishti, I immediately knew she was somebody who can both match and surpass my creativity, understand my vision , and bring the impossible to life. As someone who highly values creativity, I knew that as a bride, I was going to be very “EXTRA” and no ordinary ceremony, decor, henna design, or live-artist was going to suffice…a lot of things had to be uniquely tailored for me. The more I explored Srishti’s design and work, the more I knew in my heart that she was going to deliver! Trust me when I say she fully understood my “extra-ness” and fully endorsed it like a best friend!
She helped design my entire wedding from scratch, and there were so many personal touches and never before seen elements-exactly how I wanted! I cannot tell you the number of guests that reached out to us after our wedding weekend telling us that they had never seen a ceremony like that, or enjoyed a party like that before, or never seen such impeccable creativity, organization or coordination before. They didn’t think something like that was possible in NJ either.
My wants: I wanted New Jersey for my family’s convenience but also want to incorporate New York City because of how much the City means to both my family and I. We also wanted to incorporate elements of San Antonio since it reflects him and us as a couple. I also always envisioned getting married outdoors next to water with lots of elements of nature, but I also wanted NYC. My groom did not want a horse but wanted boats, drones, and maybe a helicopter. And I wanted a combination of both local and international vendors and artists. Some outfits I was going to buy locally, but I also wanted some designer lenghas and needed lots of help making sure each piece including my veil was distinctly designed and a never seen before statement piece of its own …. Oh and I didn’t want to skip a single core Indian wedding event but I want it done under 1.5-2 days because the bride and groom need to go back to work…you get the point.
Essentially, I handed over Srishti an impossible vision, however she listened to every small or big idea I had during each and every meeting and also added so many great suggestions of her own to further enhance my vision and ALWAYS found a way to make it work no matter how many curveballs of my own I through at her.
Wedding planner, designer, stylist, sister, therapist…she guided me through everything over the last 1.5 years and I would not have gotten a local wedding with all my dream elements without her.
My venue was beautiful but extremely complex and I could not have done it without Srishti and her design team handling every engineering detail and need for permits that came our way.
Please, please go with her vendor suggestions. She gets a really good feel of you as a person and your tastes and knows exactly who will be perfect for you. Epic Stories covered our Story and Wedding in two different states over two different months and this would not have been possible without Srishti’s advocacy or coordination. I had 4 core events fit into 1.5 days with 6 outfit changes, and Srishti found me a hair-and makeup artist who could handle that with perfection and her coordination team made sure it happened. I wanted the best of the best, and she got me best of the best. She’s honest, creative, and you can absolutely trust her with your family and big day!

We had a multi-day Indian wedding with a lot of moving parts — multiple events, different venues, vendors across the board — and Srishti and her team at Eventsbysrishti handled it all with incredible professionalism, calm, and care. From the start, they were organized, detail-oriented, and always one step ahead. What really stood out to us was how friendly and reassuring Srishti was — even during the inevitable chaos of wedding week, she made everything feel smooth and manageable. She made me think about moving parts that I hadn’t even considered while ensuring I had the experience I’ve always wanted. It eliminated the stress of dealing with decisions I didn’t have time for so I could focus on the details I was most interested in. She has a significant amount of industry knowledge that only comes from experience that she implemented to ensure a seamless event.
Thanks to her and her team, everything flowed seamlessly — from baraat to sangeet to reception — and we were able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of stressing. So many guests commented on how well-coordinated and beautiful the events were. We are so grateful to Srishti for making our vision come to life and highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Srishti and her team were absolutely fantastic in helping my fiance and I plan our big Indian wedding! A Life Saver
Srishti is the sole reason my wedding went as smoothly as it did. Multiple events, international guests, and a control freak bride.
Srishti planned my May 18, 2024 wedding. I searched for many planners to find the perfect one. From our first conversation, I knew it was her, and she proved me right. Her professionalism, responsiveness, emotional intelligence, and problem solving skills make her the ideal wedding planner. I would trust this woman with my life. We had multiple issues come up through planning and she helped me through each one.

Srishti and her team were amazing coordinators and they made my wedding day absolutely perfect. They made sure everything was organized for our wedding day and stuck to the timeline. So what can i say about Sristhi? honestly, there are no words to describe how amazing her and her team was in preparing, planning and executing my wedding day so successfully.
Let me first tell you that I am Filipino who married a Gujarati . My husband and I honestly did not know how we were going to plan a Filipino- Indian wedding. We wanted someone who was knowledgeable fusing two cultures together and making it balanced. And that person we thankfully found to execute what we envisioned was Events by Sristhi.
Sristhi was extremely helpful in every aspect you can imagine. Sometimes I felt she was more than just a wedding planner but someone we can confide in especially when we were stressed with our family pressures. She relieved all of our worries and helped us through executing what we wanted and how we wanted it as well as being our guiding source especially since my husband and I had absolute ZERO knowledge in planning a fusion wedding that emphasized both cultures.
Sristhi was very professional, responsive, resourceful, kind-hearted, and detail-oriented. she educated us on the entire process, provided us with great ideas and stayed within the budget we had saved for the wedding.
Sristhi had partnerships with wonderful vendors--ie decorator, DJ/emcee, and photographer/videographer.
We received so many compliments even till this day about how awesome our vendors were. So many of my guests keep telling us how fun they had at our wedding.
The success and fun of our wedding day was because Sristhi made that happen.

Srishti was absolutely amazing to work with! When I first started the planning process I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted and she helped guide me and provided a ton of suggestions without being overbearing. Srishti was there every step of the way -anytime I asked her random wedding planning questions she was ready with recommendations and new ideas. She created extremely detailed itineraries for both of our events (which I loved as a type A person) and coordinated with all our other vendors. Best wedding ever!
Thanks to Events by Srishti we had the wedding of our dreams! We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and Srishti was with us every step of the way. For two years she helped us plan every single aspect of our fusion wedding. I am Indian and my husband is Filipino and we were able to incorporate both of our cultures into our wedding which was such a beautiful experience. Events by Srishti helped us find most of our vendors and helped our dream wedding come to fruition. Our wedding was extremely complicated and had a lot of moving parts and events by Srishti was able to really help us prioritize organize and run on schedule the days of events. Absolutely Amazing!
Srishti and her team are nothing but professional. From the beginning, she helped structure our events with timelines and made sure all vendors were aware of the timelines. Not only are they professional and really know what they are doing, but they are beyond friendly and so understanding. We worked with Srishti and Bhawana and my family and I do not have enough good things to say about them. They helped the events run smoothly and made sure we were all where we needed to be at the right time. Running a COVID wedding is already so stressful, but Events by Srishti made planning it so seamless and fun. We had to follow guest number restrictions and Srishti and Bhawana made sure every guest at the wedding was seated where they were supposed to be to maintain social distancing and follow the capacity allowed at the Gurudwara. You can truly tell they love what they do and have a great eye for all things related to weddings. If you're looking for an event planner who feels like family from the start and makes sure you enjoy your wedding to the fullest, look no further than Events by Srishti. Firstly, we had a Covid wedding in June 2020 - I think it is very important to understand the timing and stress that Srishti helped us handle.
We had initially engaged Srishti in January 2020 to do day-of coordination for a Garba, Wedding, and Reception. As coronavirus started to gain strength, and we began to realize the impact it will have on our events, we were in constant communication with Srishti. During this time, she was extremely helpful in keeping us calm in an uncertain situation. She was very helpful in understanding our concerns and balancing it with potential options. About 1.5 months prior to the event, we came to a bleak understanding that the wedding will likely only have 10 people. At that time, we had to void our contract with Srishti. She was extremely understanding of that decision and helped out as much as possible, given the situation.
About 2 weeks prior to our event, the governor announced that outdoor events can have up to 250 people (we capped ours at 100). Until that point, we were planning for 25-50. Given this news, we immediately contacted Srishti, who was willing to jump right in and help us plan. She was with us throughout the planning process and gave us some great recommendations for MUA and other vendors when they were needed at the last minute. (Our original MUA tested positive a week before the wedding).
2 days before the wedding, we discovered that there was a 50% chance of rain, and that would have major impacts from a food perspective. At the time, indoor capacity was up to 100, but no eating or drinking indoors. Srishti took the reins of the planning, as both of us had Vidhis and family events going on.
The morning of the wedding, Srishti and Bhavna were at the venue bright and early. Bhavana was with my wife getting ready, and Srishti was in the parking lot putting up pop up tents for our guests in case of rain. They stuck to the schedule that they created for us, and ensured that all the festivities went according to plan.
Looking back on our wedding, there was a lot of stress going into the event. We planned what feels like several weddings, from 500 guests to 350, to 10, to 25 to 100. Despite all the worrying and stress, the end result was excellent, given the situation. Srishti helped us tremendously every step of the way. We would not have been able to enjoy the day as much as we did, had it not been for her and Bhavna.

With a very short notice, Srishti made sure that the engagement was a huge success. She took all of the responsibility for the DJ, Photographer, Venue and anything else that was necessary for the event. She is very professional and has an amazing quality of work. Very highly recommended. -

Srishti was event planner in our wedding and reception recently. She was amazing in planning, organizing and executing all functions with lots of enthusiasm. She even Coriographed all entry songs and our first dance in reception, very well done. She mingles very nicely with everyone that we all felt like she is part of our family. All her suggested vendor were beyond what we had expected. She is excellent in all her work. She gives good suggestions starting from shopping stores to all functions involved in pre-wedding and wedding, reception. She made our event the most joyful and forever memorable for my family. Thanks Srishti. My whole family and guests appreciateed her work. We highly highly recommend her for planning events. -

Srishti will probably agree that my wedding was one of the technically challenging ones. We had a lot of unprecedented medical accidents however with the help of Srishti and my family we were able to push through. My husband and I are both internal medicine residents and when saying that we were burnt out and had serious decision fatigue, it is an understatement. She was able to provide amazing decor, all her vendors were phenomenal. I do wish we had more people to help us with the errands as my family was not local and many had come from India and we’re not familiar with the area. I only say this because there was a lot of chaos around the health issues.
However all that matters in the end was that it was a beautiful wedding. All my guests were happy and they individually came up to me and expressed the same.Events By Srishti's reply:

Srishti and her team did an amazing job with day of coordination services for our sangeet, wedding and reception. The entire team took great care of us and made sure to feed us so we could have energy for our events! Multiple guests commented on how great the wedding events came together and how everything ran smoothly. Srishti and her in house decor team Tradition & Trends did an absolutely PHENOMONAL job with the decor for all our events. Srishti did an amazing job bringing our decor dreams and visions into life! Srishti is very honest about expenses and will tell you directly if a vendor is overpriced which was reassuring to know when planning a big Indian wedding. She was very flexible with meeting times since sometimes we would call from the west coast. We started working with Srishti 5 months before our wedding. Our only concern during the planning process was we wish we got faster responses to our questions. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Srishti and her team! The best part of hiring Srishti is that it feels like you are planning your wedding with a friend, very approachable.
