We truly cannot say enough good things about Events by Melody! From start to finish, the entire team was professional, detail-oriented, and incredibly responsive. Our day-of coordinators, Marissa and Julia, were absolute rockstars. They were not only on top of every little detail but also the kindest, most genuine people. The kind of calming, positive presence you want with you on your wedding day.
Thanks to them, everything ran so smoothly behind the scenes that we were able to fully enjoy every moment. We received countless compliments from both guests and other vendors about how amazing Marissa and Julia were, which just confirmed what we already knew. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect.
Hiring Events by Melody was one of the best decisions we made. 10/10 highly recommend to any couple looking for peace of mind and an exceptional coordination team. Thank you for everything! -

Melody is a must have.
When my husband and I started discussing wedding planning, he said I should look up an old co-worker who started her own wedding planning business.... little did I know it was the best decision I made. Melody is truly a one of kind; she is professional, thorough, impeccable communication skills while being organized. I would have been lost in the entire wedding planning process without her. She spent countless hours communicating with potential vendors while keeping me up to date along the way. She always reached out when decisions had to be made and would provide guidance when asked. Melody responded to so many emails from me with enthusiasm and never made me feel like I was "too much". The vendors she recommended were top notch and made our day amazing; especially Judge Tom Armstong, Doggy Social, DayOne DJ, Phos lighting and Studio C floral. On the wedding day if something went wrong, I do not know about... to this day. The entire day was beautiful, perfect, more than I could have imagined; I truly believe Melody was a big reason for that. -

Melody & Taylor were both friendly & organized in our preparation meetings - and then Taylor & Anna were rockstars on the actual day. Anytime I approached Taylor to check on something or ask a question, she had either already handled it or dropped everything to help! Their communications with our vendors and commitment to a smooth schedule eliminated so much stress for us. We would highly recommend Events by Melody to any couple looking for a day-of or long term wedding planner! -

Structured and organized!!
Where do we start?! Melody and her team are simply amazing. Leading up to the wedding Melody was on top of every detail. Nothing was left out. Communication was great, and we felt so comfortable and confident leaving tasks in melody’s hands. For the wedding day - Taylor was our lead planner and she was INCREDIBLE. Taylor and her assistant Anna were there for every step of the way and made sure I had everything I needed. Even things I didn’t think I needed, Taylor was right there to help me out. It honestly felt like they were driving the show and we were just there for the ride…we literally did not need to do anything or make any decision the day of the wedding - they handled it all. Everything went to smoothly and I am so grateful to have had them there on our special day. I cannot recommend melody and her team enough. We are so incredibly happy with how our special day turned out and so much for the credit goes to this team. Thank you so much!! -

We used Melody's team for the day of coordination package, which included communication for a month leading up to the wedding. Going into the wedding planning process, I thought I could handle most of it myself. What I didn't realize was how stressful the final month leading up to the wedding can be, when all the details have to be finalized. This is where Melody stepped in and made the process so much easier for me. Melody blew me away with her responsiveness and professionalism in that month leading up to the wedding. She responded very promptly to every single email I sent to her, and provided helpful responses/solutions to everything. Melody prepared a detailed timeline for the wedding day in coordination with our other vendors which (as a type A bride) I really appreciated. This helped me keep everything organized in my mind and relieved so much stress. We also added on the rehearsal service to our package, which I would highly recommend to anyone. We had a friend officiate our wedding (his first one) so it was helpful to have Julia there to walk us through the ceremony and provide recommendations if needed. Julia's calm demeanor relaxed me so much and was just what I needed. On the wedding day itself, Julia and Taylor were both onsite all day for coordination. Both of these ladies were truly incredible. I honestly didn't have to worry about one thing the entire wedding day. I received SO many compliments on how smoothly everything went and some people even said it was one of the best weddings they've been to. This is a true testament to Melody's team as they were instrumental in the wedding success. Additionally, my phone was misplaced at the end of the night and Julia personally helped my husband and I search for almost an hour. I would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a wedding. -

Events by Melody was personally referred to me by Anna Hren and I could not be happier with our decision and experience working with Melody and her team! I have heard from so many brides how stressful wedding planning and the big day can be, and I can honestly say it was one of the best and least stressful experiences for me and my husband.
Melody was amazing in making any idea and vision I had happen and connected me with vendors that could bring my vision to life. Melody and her team made sure that everything was in order and accounted for leading up to the big day. Any questions I had, she was happy and eager to answer. She was instrumental in reaching out to all of my vendors and coordinating all of the logistics so I did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot even tell you how incredible it was to not have to worry about or focus on anything other than marrying the love of my life.
Our Day-Of Coordinator, Taylor Curley, and Assistant Coordinator, Anna Hren, were absolutely PHENOMENAL to work with. I received countless compliments from my guests on how amazing they were. They went absolutely above and beyond- and I am so thankful they were a part of our big day. Taylor didn’t hesitate to run out to buy me a needle and thread when I forgot my sewing kit in my car that I left at the hotel. And Anna personally sewed my sleeves into my wedding dress when the buttons meant to secure them kept popping off. These ladies also left me absolutely speechless with our reception reveal- it was better than anything I could have envisioned.
Thank you Melody, Taylor and Anna for making our wedding even better than our wildest dreams. I cannot recommend Events by Melody enough!! -

We booked with Events by Melody for Day of Coordination services for our wedding. Through the course of planning we decided to get this coordinator to help make the day of a success. My now wife and I are extremely pleased with the services we received and would recommend that anyone book with them too.
Our introduction with Melody was professional and seamless. From the onset we were comforted that communication was swift, services discussed matched the description, and we had a clear understanding of what came next.
Between introduction and ramp up services pre-wedding, Melody and her team went the extra mile in terms of communications and nice gestures. The clear attention to detail and demonstrated value of their customers helped confirm we made the right choice with our funds and vendor selection.
Formal ramp up of services T-1 Month to the wedding went great. Melody assigned Alexis as our lead coordinator and coordinated a kickoff with all of us for a virtual meeting. Ahead of the session we were provided a clear list of items to bring as well as a questionnaire to fill out. We did so on time and were pleased that both Melody and Alexis had clearly taken the time to get familiar with our plan and were already experts by the time we talked through it for the first time together. They synthesized all the material so well that it almost felt like they had planned it from the start and we all confirmed quickly.
From there they did extensive work both with us and behind the scenes to confirm all the vendors were marching to the same beat. They helped provide some good suggestions, identified some gaps my wife and I missed before, and generally helped polish the plan for success. It really helped ease the tension leading up to the wedding.
Day of went perfectly. Lead coordinator Alexis and assistant coordinator Anna both arrived on time and ready to rock. They helped setup decor exceptionally well, kept us on track, coordinated questions and tasks across us all, helped with transitions, and much more all while being pleasant and upbeat. Somehow they struck the balance perfectly of being active and forefront when needed while also behind-the-scenes and seamless at the same time.
I'll admit it was originally difficult for us to opt into a seemingly "extra" cost of day of coordination when we already had so much tied up financially in our event. Those concerns faded away quickly and we feel we received exceptional value. We would highly recommend Events by Melody to anyone looking to make their event a success! -

Working with Melody and her team was a dream. After getting engaged in December 2022 a friend who works in the wedding industry referred me to Melody to discuss planning options. After an initial meeting with Melody and going over what I was looking for I expressed that I already had booked a few vendors. After that I appreciated her honesty in saying that since I had most of my vendors picked already that full planning services weren't necessary, which I feel like some people won't do since they would lose business. I chose to work with Melody and her team for coordination services. Melody and Alexis were available for questions leading up to the wedding and handled all of the things I felt the most stressed or anxious about. Having examples from them on how they have worked with other brides was valuable beyond belief and helped me to create a special day for them to coordinate. I would recommend Melody and her team to anyone! -

Melody + Team Executed Our Perfect Day
There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Melody and her team were leading up to and on our wedding day. We hired Melody and her team for day of coordination but what we received was SO MUCH MORE. The month leading up to our event, Melody and her lead coordinator, Taylor put together the most comprehensive timeline not only myself but all my bridesmaids have ever seen. Going into wedding day, we felt prepared and comforted knowing Taylor and Anna were going to take care of everything day of. They asked questions I hadn't even though of to ensure all went off without a hitch.
The day of, it rained and then stopped - Taylor and Anna pivoted quickly to set up our entire ceremony site outside after it was already set indoors. They truly went above and beyond to make sure myself and husband were happy and unaware of any hiccups. I had a strong vision planned for decor set-up but was unsure how it would all come together. During our reception reveal, I audibly gasped and shed a few tears. They did even better than I ever could have imagined. Each space was perfectly executed and they treated each guest touchpoint as as design opportunity.
Take down was flawless, everything was packed to perfection and easy to find next day unloading. Timing was impeccable, we ran not a minute behind all evening and they were accessible throughout the entire night.
They blew our expectations out of the water and we highly recommend Melody and her team to anyone planning a wedding! -

We hired Melody and her team for event design assistance and day-of coordination. Due to COVID and the postponement of our wedding, we ended up working with Melody for 2+ years. Melody's help was extra appreciated during the struggles of postponing, rescheduling, and re-planning our day! She helped to coordinate all communication with our vendors, and overall helped guide us through the process during an extra stressful time. Hiring Melody and her team for the day of coordinator package (which starts 30 days before your wedding) was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding! I am a very organized and planful person, but I knew I wanted our big day to be stress free and for everyone to be able to enjoy themselves. Melody and her assistant Anna made the day just that! If there was any sort of issue on our wedding day, I didn't know about it because it was taken care of immediately by Melody. From questions about what vendors she recommendation to the best way to pack votive candles she knows it all. I couldn't recommend Events by Melody more! -

We weren’t sure about getting a day of coordinator at first but I am so glad we did. We worked with melody, Jess and Brittany and all of them were so kind and attentive. Melody was quick to answer any questions beforehand and made it really easy to organize all our details. I can’t imagine what chaos it would have been if we didn’t have them. They made the day go so smoothly and answered any questions we or our family had. My entire family still talks about how impressed they were by them. Our friends recommended hiring a day of coordinator and spoke so highly of Melody and the team that we reached out to them for help with our September 2019 wedding at Mill City Museum. Working with Events by Melody made planning our Minneapolis wedding from Fargo so much easier! They were great resources for help with vendors and planning in the months before our wedding and had great advice and guidance. Melody, Hannah, and the rest of the team made the rehearsal and wedding day run so smoothly, and did so much behind the scenes to make our day perfect. Best Day Ever thanks to Events by Melody
Events by Melody….where do I even begin. Let me start out by just saying THANK YOU SO MUCH MELODY, JESS AND ELLIE!!!! Without you ladies, our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was. Melody was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process. Her response time, feedback and ideas were impeccable. The way she understood my vision for our wedding was absolutely spot on. Melody is extremely organized and somehow knew exactly what I was envisioning. I did the partial planning package which was perfect. Being able to meet with Melody and talk through my vision was so fun. The mood board she created was spot on.
Moving to the day of my wedding…Jess and Ellie were beyond fabulous!! I can’t express how grateful I was to have them there. They were extremely organized, professional and kept the day flowing perfectly. I probably wasn’t as organized as I thought I was with giving them direction on where stuff should go prior to our wedding day but somehow, they got everything pretty much perfect. From how I was envisioning the table décor to the ceremony decorations, it was beautiful.
And Jess, I can’t thank you enough for keeping me so calm and giving me the best advice to just breath and look at Aaron the whole walk down the aisle. I felt like it was just Aaron and I in the most beautiful setting ever on the most perfect day. It was so perfect. 😊
Hiring Events by Melody was one of the best decisions I made. I didn’t have to worry about the tiny little details the day of and Melody made my wedding planning process so fun. A piece of advice to all the brides, don’t think you can handle everything on your own, because you can’t, and you don’t want to. You want to be able to enjoy this amazing day with your new husband and that’s exactly what I got to do.

Our wedding on 5/4/19 was incredible and stress free thanks to Melody! There are not enough words (or stars) to express my gratitude for the fabulous and hard working team at Events by Melody! This was one of the BEST investments we made for our wedding. Melody was my "Day of Coordinator" but the help she provided went far above and beyond just our wedding day! She’s a total pro and VERY organized. A month before our wedding she connected with all of our vendors to make sure everything arrived to the venue smoothly! She also created a detailed timeline for our wedding party so everyone knew exactly where they needed to be throughout the day. After Joel and I said “I do!” Melody and her assistant, Lauren had champagne waiting for us at the end of the aisle. Melody's team was excellent with those special touches! My husband, Joel and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day and stay present in the moment! Our guests had a wonderful time and I was able to relax and have fun knowing that all of the details were being taken care of in Melody’s capable hands. Melody and Lexie were out of this world INCREDIBLE. Melody took time to answer all of our questions from our initial consultation to the end of our wedding day. She even took time to chat with me about her business. The day of everything was perfect - if anything went wrong, we had no clue. They set everything up better than I imagined, kept everyone calm and full of energy, met us at the end of the isle with a champagne to celebrate and made sure the day was exactly as we dreamed. If you want to get married, and be fully present, LOOK NO FURTHER than Events by Melody. We did our research and they are incredible.

Terrific experience with Melody
Melody was insightful, supportive and knowledgeable. From the minute we "interviewed" her for my daughter's wedding, we knew she was the right fit for us and understood our goals and dreams. She also saved the day for me when I got makeup on the groom's suit minutes before pictures were to be taken. She was able to clean the suit jacket and all was well! On May 19, 2018 I made the best decision of my life marrying my husband. My next best decision was having Melody and her team there to run my big day. Melody is extremely organized and knows the answer to everything. (Literally) I’m so glad I did partial planning and day-of coordination because times have changed and Melody knows all the latest modern wedding trends. Instead of searching through hundreds of blogs for answers, Melody was just a text or call away. She is always very fast to respond and can hook you up with some of the best, most economical vendors in Minneapolis. Melody truly goes above and beyond for her clients. When I was putting together my invitations, she proof read them for me and made suggestions on wording until it was perfect. There’s nothing better than having a planner as you approach your event. Melody did all the communicating with vendors, planned the logistics, mapped out our timeline and even handed out our vendor tips so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! All our vendors loved Melody and got along with her very well! Melody is very fun to work with and she’s the backbone you need on the day of your event. I will forever stay friends with Melody and will rave about her for the rest of my life! If your date is open, I’d book it before it’s gone. She’s the best value you can get in a planner and I know how fast she books. Melody, thank you from the bottom of Jake and I’s hearts for making our special day so perfect. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful day. Thank you AGAIN for using shout wipes to clean the train of my dress before I walked down the aisle!!! You are AMAZZZZZING!

Jenni Sent on 10/26/2017My husband and I used Events by Melody for our day of coordination on our wedding day and it's really a no brainer - YOU SHOULD TOO! Like most brides, I spent days & hours leading up to my wedding trying to make everything perfect but the one thing I needed and never knew was Melody. On the actual day I didn't have time (or the head space) to make sure things were set up, or vendors were arriving, or the timeline was being executed, etc, etc (there is a lot).. I was busy soaking in the BEST day of my life! Without Melody and her team doing virtually everything for me I could never have experienced my wedding day the way I had dreamed. If I could stress one thing to any future bride it would be to INVEST IN A DAY OF COORDINATOR and let her take a weight off your shoulders. You only get one day, but with the help of Events by Melody, one day will be enough!

Anne Sent on 05/15/2017Melody and her team were instrumental in the month leading up to the wedding, and of course the day of!! We didn't have to worry about coordinating with vendors arrivals, setup of little decor items, or anything else logistically the day of.
