One huge regret - not finding Events by L sooner!

We used Events by L for our holiday party this year. We hired them for the planning and the florals. I have one huge regret, that I didn’t hire them sooner! They put everything together for me based on the kind of party I wanted to have. They found all of the right vendors, helped me pick out the menu, and gave me ideas to include that I could never have thought of! The décor they pulled off was amazingly festive and better than I hoped for. You girls blew it out of the park and I can’t wait until our summer party!

You will thank me later!

When I found Events by L, I needed ALL the help they could give me! Having never planned a wedding, and not wanting to be a burden on my friends and family, they were such a blessing. I could ask them about anything, and they made me feel so comfortable and just at ease throughout the whole time before the wedding and then especially on the wedding day.

My husband (gahh! I love saying that!!!) and I just showed up on the day and got to enjoy every single second knowing that everything was being handled by our wedding team! It was so cool! They made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day, and they set up everything just the way I had in mind, except for one spot – and they did it even better than I had envisioned because my décor wouldn’t all fit on a small table the venue had set out, so they improvised, and it looked so beautiful.

Thank you both so much for all your hard work and help! Your team was so helpful and thoughtful, and we truly appreciate all that they did!

If you're reading this, and wondering whether or not to hire the L's, this is your sign!

We have used Events by L for the past 5 years for our Thanksgiving and Christmas events and have referred them for several weddings. They do a fabulous job at the planning and decor and I'd be lost without them.

Our Thanksgiving tables this year were so beautiful, I wish I knew how to post pictures so you could see. Every event with them has been a relaxing, flawless event that all of our guests have raved about.

It was a dream come true

Ladies!!

Thank you so much for all you did to help my wedding day turn out as beautifully as it did. From all of the planning we did over a year ago until the day of the wedding. I still can't get over how much fun the day was! But you helped the entire process go smoothly and I never felt overwhelmed which I normally do as a certified control freak!

Everything we wanted!

Thank you so much ladies for all that you did for our wedding day! It was a dream come true and you guys are the reason. You ladies busted your you-know-what for us! We can't thank you enough! For anyone reading this that is thinking of hiring the L's - DO IT! Seriously, they thought of everything on our day and handled so many little things that popped up throughout our day and I was sure I had everything planned to perfection. The L's Made It SO Easy

The L’s were fantastic and made the entire planning process so much easier for us, we could not have done it without them. We were planning our wedding from out of the state and we moved across the country in the middle of planning, but the L’s were able to help us find local vendors and keep us on track with their monthly checklists. They helped us find a photographer when the ones we were reaching out to never responded, and the DJ they recommended for us was amazing and made the whole reception. The best part about working with them was that it was fun, we looked forward to our video meetings and when we had the chance to meet in person we had a blast. 100% recommend and would hire again for another wedding, but hopefully we won’t have to!

Still can't believe all you did for us!

Ladies, all I can say is THANK YOU! I literally can't find the words to properly share my gratitude toward you and your services for our wedding. Having you do my planning and florals was a dream come true! I was able to relax during my hair and makeup and photos during the day knowing you and your team was on site managing my vendors and setting up all of my stuff from my guest book, place cards, escort cards, favors, and so much more - and it was A LOT! We may have gone a little pinterest crazy with all of the details but you ladies pulled it off for me. I still don't know how you got it all done but thank you so much! I still can't believe I forgot to wear my garter belt and you guys had one in your tool kit! Still gives me chills.

I love you ladies and have already referred you to 3 of my bridesmaids and I believe you booked one of them yesterday - Kailey! I am so excited to get to see you on her day.

You need them!

The L’s were such a help on my wedding day. I didn’t have to worry about putting signs out, lighting candles, telling vendors where to set up, or keeping track of the schedule because they handled it all! I think I would’ve been much more stressed out without them there. Definitely would recommend them to anyone!!

The best of the best!

I was referred to Events by L by my maid of honor, she used the team on her big day a couple years back. I was fortunate enough to get to use them for both my planning and for my florals. The L’s are were the biggest blessing of my wedding process! I can’t thank you ladies enough. They essentially held my hand from the moment we hired them on until the grand entrance! After that it was party time and the best night of my life! Any questions we had, they answered in a timely manner, always! In fact, they were the ONLY vendor that we could count on getting back to us right away. They completely put my mind at ease and were able to fill in the missing links with vendors we needed, décor ideas, and our game plan for the day. I can’t forget the florals – I was blown away, they were better than I could have ever imagined! They even helped me with the drying process so that I get to keep my bouquet forever. We knew that we wanted to hire wedding planners from the minute we got engaged and we knew we wanted someone professional, determined, kind, trustworthy, creative, and supportive. These are the exact words we would use to describe Events by L.

Our Favorite Wedding Vendor

When I was looking for a florist I vetted a handful of florists and Events by L stood out as I could tell they understood my vision. They were incredibly responsive and collaborative the months leading up to my wedding, I sent them many photos of inspiration for color and style of flowers and where I wasn't sure what I liked, they were quick to send me pictures and ideas to help us quickly decide.

The flowers the day of my wedding could not have turned out better. The Events by L team created a beautiful chuppah and ceremony setup. They are so skilled and experienced, quickly helping flip the ceremony site for the reception and making the evening look magical. They also helped us save a bit here and there with thoughtful recommendations and they found creative ways to repurpose our ceremony flowers for the reception. Finally, the table arrangements could not have been more beautiful -- our guests took them all home :)

Events by L are clearly pros, lovely to work with and create beautiful arrangements! I can't stop recommending them and am excited to use them for my parent’s anniversary celebration this year!

Our FAVORITE Wedding Vendor!

It was an absolute joy working with Laurie and Lisa for my wedding day! They are the most kindhearted people and truly care about their clients and have amazing work ethic.

Everything was incredibly easy and effortless leading up to the big day, which is so important when you are dealing with all of the stress of planning a wedding.

The floral arrangements all came out perfectly and were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! The colors they selected for the flowers complimented our natural wedding theme flawlessly.

If you want someone who is truly passionate about what they do and does an incredible job, I would strongly recommend working with Events by L for your big day. They helped make my wedding experience so much better!

Totally made my wedding day!

If you can do one thing to take the edge off your wedding day, hire Events by L. I am a planner and a bit of a control freak, but as I got deeper into coordinating my own wedding, I knew I didn't want to spend the "day of" running around worrying about details. Thank goodness Laurie and Lisa were available on my special day and they were worth every penny! They worked with my vendors, had the itinerary down pat, kept everyone on point, helped me when I was frazzled... I just can't say enough!

I can't imagine how my day would have done without them. He was a nervous wreck and they completely put him at ease! I was able to relax and enjoy myself until I walked towards the man I'm spending the rest of my life with. Who wouldn't want that? I knew everything was taken care of and in the perfect hands with these lovely ladies. They are top-notch, their reputation second to none, and fun ladies to be around too! Don't hesitate! What can I say? We had the pleasure of working with the L’s and their team and they are truly amazing. Laurie and Lisa are such a sweet, creative, and knowledgeable team. Completely set my mind at ease!

After getting engaged I knew I wanted a wedding planner.
I met with a couple of planners but didn't get the right vibe. I saw a beautiful photo online and tracked down the planners. After checking out their website and amazing reviews I decided to email Events by L. We met with Laurie and Lisa and immediately fell in love! They were very enthusiastic, amazing and seemed to really love what they do. They immediately understood what we were after and directed us to all the right people.
They delivered on their promises and everything was beautiful. They knew all the answers to my questions and when we had problems and confusion they took control and eased my worries like such pros!
Our reception was like a dream. Their team worked tirelessly to give us the beautiful and fun wedding we always wanted. If I could do it all over again - I wouldn't change a thing

Amazing Coordinators!!!

I could not have done my wedding day without the help of Laurie and Lisa. They coordinated the day of and made sure that absolutely every detail was taken care of and that everything went off without a hitch. They took care of all the communication with my vendors, set up our ceremony and reception exactly as I had pictured it, and were overall just so easy and nice to work with. The L’s are perfectionist and will make your special perfect!

I don’t know where to start. The ladies went over and beyond for me. Especially the month leading up to my big day. We had a few hiccups during the wedding and the girls took care of them right away. They were open to extra meetings and held my hand throughout the entire wedding planning process. I settled with decor for my hall, well I thought I did. When my husband and I arrived at the banquet hall and did our first look in private of our room I CRIED!! Lisa and lauri went way above there job tile for me. I had the most beautiful decor set up, extras galore they surprised me with and most of all they had gotten my vision perfectly. The L’s are professional, prompt, caring, perfectionist, and the list can keep going. I could see their passion for what they do.
I also had the L’s as my florist. They went over and beyond to work with me and budget so I didn’t feel like I was compromising on anything. Thanks ladies for making my day unbelievably perfect. I know it wouldn’t have been possible without your help. I look forward to working with you both in the future :))

Stress Free Wedding

My husband and I can't thank the L's enough for helping to make our wedding day perfect! We had a pretty long engagement and we were in contact with them from the very beginning. They helped to keep us organized with every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed the planning process because of them.

When our wedding day finally came, everyone around me kept commenting on how calm I was. That's because I had full trust in Laurie, Lisa and their team to execute all of the details. Not only did they execute......they went above and beyond our expectations! We also used the L's for our florals. They turned out even better than we could have ever imagined!

Phenominal Florists

Events by L was recommended to me by my wedding venue, and once we met with them, it was very obvious why they were so highly recommended! She definitely knows her stuff and is an amazing florist! They have been in this business for a long time and were able to help us stick to our budget by recommending ways to cut costs but still have a beautiful floral spread. Since they were so familiar with our venue, they also were familiar with the venue layout and the small details that mattered (e.g. the strong wind that is commonly present) and were able to recommend things to make our ceremony and reception look its best. They were responsive to all emails and was able to answer all the questions that I had. The day of the wedding, they delivered everything on time, and all the bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages were labeled. In addition, it was crazy hot that day, and they worked with the venue to ensure that our flowers would not sit out in the sun for hours before the wedding started. I would recommend Events by L for their amazing knowledge of all things floral and great service, for weddings or any other special events you are planning!

If you want your Dream Day, hire Events by L!

Don't waste your time interviewing other wedding planners - the L's are the Dream Team! They will bring your dream wedding to reality. They went above and beyond to take the reigns for our wedding after there were some problems with another wedding planner we had stupidly hired first. They were such a breath of fresh air - extremely organized and their attention to detail is amazing. They enabled me to have a FLAWLESS wedding thanks to their incredible experience and connections. I was very worried about my wedding running smoothly until they stepped in - I never had to think about anything else after they took over. Their vision and understanding of colors, flowers, beautiful details like painting gold menus to make the color pop better... the list goes on. Their team is well trained and they're all a true team - they work well together and are happy to be a part of your day. They turned my wedding day into a fairy tale that people are still talking about almost a year later! Laurie and Lisa also have excellent relationships with the other various vendors (linens, chair rentals, catering mgr, bakery, etc). This made everything extremely easy because the vendors had worked together before and had a level of familiarity. Not to mention how talented they are at floral design. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking! Don't waste your time and look elsewhere! You'll thank us later!

Beyond anything I could imagine!

Events by L did a fantastic job as our "Day Of" coordinators! I say "Day Of" very lightly, because they did a great deal of preparatory work prior to our wedding day. We met months before and then I happily handed Laurie and Lisa the reigns a month before my big day. I will never forget the weight that was lifted off of me that day!!!!!

Aside from that they did a great job helping us to select our wedding invitations at a fraction of the price that we anticipated it costing. I am still receiving compliments regarding our wedding invitations!

They communicated thoroughly through my endless texts/e-mails and were so patient with my indecisiveness. They really went beyond what we hired them for and helped give me so many awesome suggestions I never would have thought of...and I scoured Pinterest day in and day out!!

The L's and their entire team are so personable and worked very well with our vendors. They also had a great deal of connections that can help you make reputable vendor selections as well as help stretch your budget.:))

They also did the personal flowers for our wedding day and they were GORGEOUS!!! I received so many compliments on my bouquet as well as the bouquets that my bridesmaids carried. I was on a tight budget and DIY'd my decor or else they would have designed that too. Their work ia stunning!!!!!!

Simply Amazing -- That's What You Are!

Our corporate event exceeded my expectations. Not only did you create a great ambiance with the lounges, lighting, and music, but the food displays by your preferred vendors and your incredible floral designs were a work of art. We miss the L's already!

Laurie and Lisa and their entire Events by L crew were unbelievable! My now husband and I used them for full wedding planning, florals, bathroom baskets, custom signage, and so much more! They helped us out with SO much during the planning process. We can't thank them enough.

Among the many, many things they helped us with, they took so much time off of our plates putting together an awesome vendor team that was everything we had imagined and so much more. All of our vendors were top notch and we were able to actually relax in the months leading up to our big day thanks to the L's constantly checking in and keeping us on track.

My husband and I still can't get over how zen I was on the day of! It really was the best day of my life thus far and I owe it to the kind, supportive, organized ladies of Events by L. We are going to miss the L's so much! We love you ladies!!! Can't wait to have another reason to work with you both! ;)

Hire these Ladies!

Events by L is amazing! I can't express how grateful the groom and I were to have them around for our wedding day. The L's are great at what they do, very sweet and caring, and truly want to you have a magical day. Months before the wedding, they provided us with fantastic vendors from photographers to caterers, so we did not have to spend countless hours finding the right vendor for us. They worked with us to nail down the details for the wedding and made a timeline that would include all the things we wanted to do and have happened for that day.

Fast forward to our actual wedding day. The whole team was very detail-oriented and attentive to what we needed. Their floral design was breathtaking! The day goes by so fast and you're so overwhelmed, but the team was there to make sure the whole day was taken care of, down to the small details. Like making sure my hair was out of my face for photos, providing us water so we were hydrated, fixing loose threads on my dress, etc. Everyone on the team went above and beyond our expectations.

I've had some friends try to have weddings without a planner, and the brides spent the day stressed out about the small details. If you want to ENJOY your wedding day, and not worry and stress, then hire Events by L!

The best wedding decision I made - and there were a LOT!!!

We are so happy to have had Laurie and Lisa looking after our wedding! In the lead up to the big day, they were always available to help with whatever question or crisis we had, doing so with ease and always with a smile and a laugh. On the wedding day, they were everywhere, making sure things were running smoothly, getting people to their places, making sure we had food and drinks, and helping to pack everything up as the day unfolded.

These ladies really went the extra mile for us and made us feel so much more relaxed as we prepared for our wedding. The day itself was perfect, and Laurie and Lisa are a big reason why. We would recommend them to anyone!

Thank you gals so much for all that you did. We truly can't thank you enough and we hope you enjoyed the gift baskets! You deserve them and so much more!!!

The Events by L Team did a wonderful job on our wedding. The entire team was very well organized and extremely professional in the way they interacted with all of our guests and vendors. Laurie and Lisa put in a lot of thoughtful details in everything that they touched, from the way they worked with our vision to the timeline they laid out for us and our vendors. They made sure that we were well taken care of by ensuring that my husband and I were hydrated and eating throughout the day. I especially appreciated how they were able to avert our cake troubles when it was delivered to the wrong venue many many miles away. Events by L was like a breath of fresh calming air that helped to ease my undercover wedding jitters throughout the day...for that, I will always be thankful to Laurie, Lisa, and their staff. I know they say that the Bride sets the tone for the wedding...but I believe it's the Wedding Planner that puts the Bride at ease to set such a relaxed and very chill tone to the special day. Events by L made our whole wedding experience so wonderful!!! We met in person a few times to discuss our vision, and we were on the same page from day one! Our flowers were the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen! They also made our day run so smooth by delivering flower to the girls and the guys, and also set up all the tables and cake at our reception and at our church! I don't even know where to begin. AMAZING!! I am 150% satisfied with the QUALITY, SERVICE, and RESPONSIVENESS that, Laurie and Lisa, provided. These sisters went above and beyond for my picture-perfect wedding. If you need an event planner or florist LOOK NO FURTHER, yes, this is a sign, and take it! Where do I begin, Kim, Laurie, and Lisa first came to my house to discuss pricing and get an idea of what I was looking for. These ladies were the 3rd quote I received and yes, they were the cheapest! I had flowers galore. Let’s be real, every bride is looking on pintrest and finding exactly what she wants for her particular “vision”. The truth is I am not like other brides, my personality and taste is bold. Originally, I was only going to use Events by L for all the flowers at my wedding, until I found out my venue had a strict policy of setting up the day prior to my wedding, all decor needed to be set up the day of. Guess who was there? Laurie and Lisa. These ladies and Kim (Kim is the most amazing florist I have ever seen and yes I seen several) set up everything for me. From centerpieces, (which were all different) to my guestbook, card table, etc.… and simply made every detail stunning. They came over again to my house to get my vision of my centerpieces, took photos and were extremely through with everything. I honestly started to cry when I got my bouquet with just how gorgeous these flowers were. I know it sounds silly and if you knew me I am not much of a crier, even held the tears at my wedding.
I got along with all of them SO well and by far the easiest vendors to work with. The L’s are truly sincere and go above and beyond meeting ANYONE’S expectations. Thank you, ladies, for making my day so magical, listening to all of my complaints with other vendors and taking the initiative to fulfill my dream wedding!

Events by L has blown away all my expectations, especially after having met with so many disappointing vendors. It's important to be 100% upfront with your budget. Small or large, they will find a way to maximize what you give them to work with. They created the absolute most beautiful bouquets and decor for my wedding day. They took the existing beauty of my venue included my colors, added their vision and made it into my dream wedding. The Events by L team's kindness and care was extremely apparent throughout the entire set up with not one detail left out. Throughout the whole process, they were extremely quick and responsive to all communication. Their style and attention to every single detail cannot be matched by any other florist. Events by L did all the flowers for my wedding and they were terrific! I gave them my inspiration colors and they guided me in recommending the best flowers that would be in season and work with my vision. The bouquets were beautiful, they matched the colors and complimented the bridesmaids' dresses perfectly. My centerpieces were beautiful as well as my decor. I was so happy with everything! I look back on the photos and I am still impressed! I absolutely recommend Events by L for your wedding flowers and decor.

If you're thinking of hiring wedding planners, stop looking and hire the L's! And even if you don't think you need a wedding planner, you should still hire the L's! The best decision I made for the wedding, was hiring the L sisters. We hired them as a full-time planner, and they are amazing at what they do. They provided us with all the right tools to plan our big day, introduced us to some amazing vendors, and overall just gave me so much peace of mind. They also provided emotional support during those break-down moments, haha. Just a few examples of how amazing they are: (1) Our ushers were late to the venue. The L's took over the usher duties until they arrived, (2) After the ceremony we had to rush to get pictures and the L's had all our "pictures supplies" ready to go for us, (3) A day before the wedding, A DAY, we needed something to be added into the reception schedule at the last minute. The L's didn't even bat an eye and made it happen. Honestly I could go on for days for all the amazing things they did for us on all the days leading up to the wedding and day-of. If you hire these ladies, you will not regret it, and will know that you are in the best hands!

When beginning the wedding process, I did my due diligence. Not only did I hold phone interviews, I had second in-person interviews as well. I decided on the L's not because of price, but because of their value in their ability to put my now husband and me at ease. They never pressured us in any way and were fun, outgoing and professional from the start. Since the beginning, their main focus was to make our ideal wedding come true no matter how elaborate our dreams may have been.

The L's were so great to work with. They were quick at responding and went above and beyond to make us happy. I have always heard of how stressful planning a wedding can be. With Events by L, I never felt one ounce of stress. We put together a dream come true wedding with me being out of the country for most of the time for work.

This wedding was more than what we could have imagined. We had an amazing DJ, String Quartet and various special moments.All timing was on schedule the entire time. I'm not sure if anything ever went wrong - if so, I never knew about it as everything was perfect and stress-free.

I also feel it is important to point out that the L's worked hard and were successful to keep the wedding within budget. Even with it being so extravagant.

The L's work very well with others. They did everything to keep my parents happy. I want everyone to hire them!!!

I'm not even sure where to begin with this review. I planned most of the details of my wedding and eventually convinced my now husband to get a day of wedding coordinator. As a person with a Type A personality, I have a very difficult time delegating, but knew I would need someone to help me carrying out my day in order to keep my sanity. Upon my initial conversation with the L's, I knew they were the perfect team to handle the details of my wedding. Though I chose the day of plan, I was able to contact them at any time throughout the year and a half I was engaged, and they were always happy to help! The L's began taking over the details of my wedding about a month and a half before and they always fulfilled every wish I had. Laurie and Lisa are passionate about creating special, memorable events for their clients and handle everything with enthusiasm and professionalism. I actually cried when they left my wedding because of everything they did to carry out our dream wedding. Thank you L's for everything you did for Eugene and I, you are fantastic!

Hiring a professional Planner was Not our original plan, it turned out to be the best money we have ever spent!! We hired The L's of Events By L to be our wedding planners for the last 6 weeks of our event planning effort, and to be our day-of Coordinators. Working with the L's was a joy; they instantly put us at ease, were always professional with our vendors but were able to be firm when needed, and pulled it all together for us. From dealing with a last minute hair and makeup snafu, to handing us a glass of champagne the second I walked in the door of the reception, they were on top of it!! I cannot stress enough what a difference it made to have someone like The L's literally just take care of everything. Perhaps the best part of it was the fact that neither my friends nor family had to do anything the day of either ... I got just to relax and party with all my favorite people. I think that says it all. Thank you, L's! In the end, our wedding was truly beyond our wildest dreams.

Let me just say that Events By L and their team were absolutely amazing! We could not have imagined a more beautiful or more perfect wedding. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. The L's attention to detail and love for their work is truly remarkable. Our guests were absolutely blown away and they all remarked how wonderful our day was! This being a destination wedding for us, we really depended on the L's knowledge of the local area and preferred vendors. What was obvious to us was how highly regarded they are by the vendors in the area. They really know ther stuff! I'm still amazed at how flawlessly everything was executed. Also the vendors they helped us select were all fabulous. The venue, the flowers, catering, DJ, photographer, cake... they were all amazing and we would never have found them on our own. To just say "Thank You" doesn't seem fitting enough to express how grateful we are for your relentless hard work to bring to life our dreams of a magical wedding. It was beyond words. The only request my (now) husband had when it came to planning our wedding was that I didn't stress out over it. Obviously I needed help and we decided to spare ourselves the arguments and ensuing drama and find a wedding planner. In comes Events by L! Deciding on using their services took all of one day - one hour really; Laurie and Lisa's keen eye for detail and creative flair was instantly obvious and after one chat, I felt they instantly understood what we wanted….and what we didn’t.

The whole process was ridiculously fun as the L's presented us with an amazing team of vendors and ideas that really fit our interests. It was the best just being able to sit back and be passed a cherry picked list of vendors rather than running around like crazy and trying to manage our time so that we could educate ourselves on the endless amount of wedding vendors available online.

Everyone remarked at just how relaxed Nick and I were leading up to and especially on our wedding day. In fact 4 days before the wedding we had nothing to do and were able to go out on a final pre-wedding date night!

Our wedding surpassed even my expectations at just how beautiful it was, not to mention the glowing compliments we received. ‘Best. Wedding. Ever’ was repeated over and over by our guests. Of course that is secondary to the fact that Nick and I loved every single minute and would do it again in a heartbeat. We didn’t have to concern ourselves with a single thing other than just enjoying ourselves and taking in everything Events by L so elegantly put together to create the most memorable day I could have ever wished for.

I could honestly go on and on about how spectacular Events by L is, but I have already written a short book here. Bottom line - the L's are professional, fun, passionate about creating the perfect day for the client, awesome communication, the BEST! If you are getting married you need the L's.

My company hosted an event with 200 attendees. Laurie and Lisa were exceptional thought partners from the initial planning of the event. They coordinated with our vendors and reviewed contracts and other logistical items to ensure there was complete clarity for expectations day-of the event. The day of our event they immediately jumped in and worked seamlessly and professionally with our various vendors- from catering to videographers. They were helpful in supporting me and my To-Do list with text check-ins throughout the event, as well as leading decor aspects of the event which I entrusted to them. They were cheerful, professional, high energy, and were phenomenal with our guests, our vendors, and my internal team and partners. I wish there were Laurie's and Lisa's in every state, I would most definitely recommend them 100 times over.

The best gift we gave our daughter and without realizing prior, myself. I thought I had it all pplanned.Boy, was I wrong! I truly now appreciate the value of a professional planning team. 'Events by L' were outstanding for my daughter's wedding, who had an outdoor country wedding in Aug 2016. The L's bent over backwards to make her day special and memories for a lifetime. They aimed to please the bride/groom, families & guests, and made sure everything occurred according to the itinerary; they made it seem effortless. I would definitely recommend 'Events by L'. Right from the start I, remember Pete saying, “If having a wedding planner makes this an enjoyable experience and not stressful, it will be worth every cent”. I can honestly say was one of the best decisions we made.

The Events By L team is amazing. We hired them for Day/Month of Coordination. Even prior to that, they still were available to answer any questions that I had. For the day of, talk about a team that is fluid & flawless. I felt so at ease on the day of my wedding that it was the best day I could ever ask for. No issues, no complaints, just peaceful, fun and happy. My guests were so blown away with how seamless and flawless the day went that they continue to this day (1 month after the wedding) still comment on how amazed they were with how the day flowed and everything from ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception just fell right into place. The L's really took the time to get to know us, asked all the right questions to help mitigate the day of the wedding for us. Not only that, they worked so well with our other vendors that they feel at ease with the timeline setup for the day and they know they will have someone to contact in case of any issues. Definitely schedule a consultation and you will see how at ease they make you feel and you'll understand why you should hire them for your special day. Events by L is definitely the #1 Wedding planner. Our event was awesome thanks to their unwavering attention to details. Every vendor had nothing but praise for them as well as all of our guests. The L's were amazing from our first meeting with them right to the end. They listened to what we wanted and made amazing suggestions that made our day even more special. The entire planning stage she kept us assured that everything would be just as we wanted and it was. We had our ceremony in one location and reception at another and they executed flawlessly. The church ceremony was decorated just as we wanted and the reception venue was beyond what we envisioned. Our wedding was everything we could ask for.Thank You so much for all the hard work that has given us lifetime memories. I will definitely contract them for other events and refer them. I have been called "hard to please" on more than one occasion in my life, and Events by L blew me away! They pulled everything together so beautifully and covered every detail! It was a beautiful day, one I will surely remember for a lifetime.

I will recommend Events by L to anyone and everyone getting married or hosting any type of event. In fact, I have already booked them for our holiday parties this year! So excited to work with their fabulousness again.

We used the L's for our month-of wedding coordination and I am so glad we did! I had actually gotten to see them in action at my maid of honors wedding and was completely wow'd! They were on it! Down to the smallest details which we hadn't even thought about. Seriously, there were so many points throughout her day (and mine) that we were like, "umm, did you do that?" and the L's would immediately chime in and let us know they had already handled it or had any necessary items we didn't think of on hand! We did not have to worry. It was such a relief. Fast forward to my wedding day it was such a comfort working with these ladies. I felt so at ease the weeks leading up to and especially on my day. My bridesmaids couldn't believe how calm I was. It was the best day of my life and I know it would not have been with out the L's pulling all of my vendors together and totally creating the flow of my day for me. They are the best, no doubt in my mind! I will recommend them to anyone getting married or hosting a special event. Thanks L's!

The L's are hands down the best people to work with! We used them for our wedding planning and it was beyond comforting knowing we had this team of experts on our side. Trust me, I did my research and thought I could plan my wedding with the help of pinterest, my maid of honor, and my mother in law but after a few months of going solo, I found Laurie and Lisa. They were actually referred to me by my cousin who couldn't stop singing their praises. I now understand. They are lifesavers who kept me on track with the planning, provided me with guidance, awesome vendor referrals, and really pulled everything together for me. It was so nice being able to sit back and know these two had everything under control. Thanks ladies! I owe you so much.

Lisa and Laurie helped me with "day of coordination" which is really a bit more like month of coordination. They handled everything beautifully and I had a completely stress free day on the day of the wedding, which made me wish I had not stressed quite as much the days leading up to the wedding.

The coordination between band, photographer, and DJ at the reception with all of the other events that happened at a reception went flawlessly and they really helped me manage the time I had reserved at each location in a way that kept me very stress free on the day of the event.

My main objective was to diffuse stress on the day of the wedding and they most certainly did just that.

We hired the ladies at Events by L for month of/day of coordination and we are so glad that we did. They were tremendously helpful both before the wedding and the day of. Weeks before the wedding they took over all the communication with our vendors and dealt with any problems that arose so we didn't have to. The day of they made sure that everyone was on time and where they needed to be and that every was set up how we wanted. The day ran so smoothly and just how we imagined it. Lisa and Laurie were extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. They were on top of everything and took all the worry and stress off of our shoulders on the wedding day. Their services were a gift from me to my daughter and son-in-law and actually turned out to be a gift to myself as well since they took charge on the day of so we didn't need to keep watching the clock. They are so sweet I feel like we made some new friends.

Laurie and Lisa were incredibly wonderful to work with. From beginning to end they were attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than willing to go out of their way to help when needed. I did not stress at all on wedding day knowing that they were taking care of all the final details. I would highly recommend them in order to ease any stress for your day of.

I cant give these gals enough stars. They made my wedding THE event of the year! From planning to day of, I always felt taken care of. It was like working with really responsibly, professional friends. I could email them for the silliest thing, and not be embarrassed by it. They would always guide me listen and collaborate WITH me. I never felt left out of the planning process.
And the day of proved themselves to be rockstar goddesses sent down to touch up my makeup ( even offer the groom a touch up, which he took, and he was SUPER thankful for), bustle me, coordinate all these people, deal with my mother, and make my wedding day AMAZING! Heaven knows they worked their cute butts off that day! No detail was forgotten about by them. They ARE amazing. I truly miss working with them. If you want an amazing stress free wedding..I HIGHLY recommend Laurie and Lisa, the Events By L gals.

Events by L met and exceeded our visions regarding what we expected from hiring wedding planners. We weren’t worried or stressed out with wedding details. Even a few weeks before the wedding, we knew everything was taken care of. I was able to enjoy, have fun at my bridal showers and be excited to get married. The day of wedding, I was not stressed out; I was able to enjoy the whole day/night. I had tons of fun at my own wedding!!! I have heard ‘horror stories’ regarding brides who were just thankful the wedding was over or that they couldn’t enjoy their bridal showers because they were too stressed out with wedding things. But this definitely was NOT me!! I was really able to take the whole day in, and enjoy every detail!

Laurie and Lisa (Events by L) Were a huge asset to the success of our wedding from start to finish. Laurie and Lisa were absolutely fantastic. We hired them as our month of planners for our wedding in May. They made our wedding day go by so smoothly and made it effortless for us. They kept making sure that we were stress free the month of the wedding, and contacted all of our vendors giving us more time to enjoy the wedding day.

Many of our friends have not used a day of planner, but after working with Laurie and Lisa who not only are great at their job but also are very fun to work with, we would recommend them to everyone we know in Chicago. And to add to that, since we were not able to eat our dinner at the wedding, without us asking, they packed our dinner in to go boxes and left them in our hotel fridge!

We definitely recommend them as month of coordinators and are sure that you would not regret it. Thank you to Laurie and Lisa! We loved working with you!

From the moment we spoke with Lisa and Laurie, we had no doubts we wanted to work with them! Their personalities alone sealed the deal. I am the type of person who stresses and worries uncontrollably most of the time. Considering my personal situation, I literally could not have done this without them - unless I wanted to have a disaster.

The minute we officially signed the contract, my stress began to melt away. We hired Events by L for their Full Planning Service, and wow did we get so much more! They were easily available by email, phone or text whenever I needed advice or had questions. They took the time to come to our house to see what we had created thus far and had incredible feedback and ideas for us. Their style is absolutely exquisite. They recommended things that I hadn’t come across while on Pinterest or any of the popular sites. Truly original!

Laurie and Lisa from Events by L truly helped us pull off a beautiful, worry-free wedding - I was more relaxed that day than ever! Because of their experience, insight and knowledge, our wedding day went off without a hitch and we are so very grateful for that. We keep getting compliments on our wedding details and we have Events by L to thank for helping to make it all happen the way it did.

We were initially hesitant to spend "extra" money on a wedding planner, once we met Laurie and Lisa of Events by L, we knew they was going to be worth every penny. They were with us every step of the way from the vendors, the details, to the execution of the best night of our lives. They took our initial vision and made sure that every last detail went towards bringing that vision to life. Every one of their recommended vendors worked out perfectly - their customer service was superb and they all worked together with Events by L to provide us a seemingly perfect ceremony and reception. There could have been problems, but not any one of the guests, myself included, ever heard about or saw one. Lisa and Laurie responded to every one of my emails (and there were quite a few) quickly and professionally and they are just about the sweetest and most understanding people we have ever met! I can also say that by the end of the wedding planning process, you too will have newfound friends in them. They were very understanding of not only respecting our vision, but also respecting our budget. It was refreshing that they really gave us the freedom to develop our own vision of the wedding we wanted and would suggest ideas or touches that we may not have thought of, but they only added to the overall experience of our big day. They have an amazing sense of what will work as far as design, venue, etc. to keep you within your budget and are very open and honest. I felt the entire time that we were planning our big day with close friends instead of paid planners. The best part about Events by L is definitely their delightful personalities! That, coupled with their very thorough planning, allowed my husband and I (and our families) to have the chance to really relax and enjoy our special moments. Our guests are still raving about the stunning and fun reception that we would not have been able to create or have without Events by L. The experience was absolutely fantastic!

Events by L is amazing! From the moment we hired them, all the way through the end of my wedding day, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Their ideas for little extra details were creative and elegant! They are wonderful at getting back to you – even if you just have a little question or concern.
The week of my wedding was spent with loved ones and enjoying the anticipation of our nuptials. We had nothing to worry about! That was such a cherished gift for us!
They maintained all contact with vendors, assisted us with invitations and Save-the-Dates, fielded questions from other wedding contacts. We were additionally impressed to hear that they were the first to arrive at the reception site for set up before the on-site contact was even there!

From the very first time I spoke with Laurie and Lisa, I knew I wanted them to plan my wedding. They have a keen sense for details and you know that when they're handling your event, everything will be PERFECT! These girls were not only a wedding planners to my mother and me, they have became our friends. We spoke almost every day and we felt as though we were their only client. Every vendor we used came from their recommendations and we were not disappointed with any of them. All of our vendors have a tremendous talent for what they do and Laurie and Lisa take the cake in wedding planning. If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch, hire Events by L for your event. Without them I don't know how we would have pulled our wedding off!

Laurie and Lisa where FANTASTIC! We couldn't have pulled off everything we did without them. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and handled a lot of minor details so I didn't have to. Because of them, planning was a lot less stressful!!

There are small details that a hotel and other venders are unable to do. Event's By L was able to do those small details.

A word of advice, you think there is time during the day to set up some small gifts and all. What you find out the scheduling changes due to traffic and then its a rush back. Those situations could cause things not to be done. The coordinators were ushering during the ceremony and herding the the guest in a professional manner that provided seemless flow throughout the day.

We saw that and prepared for that happening, and Event's By L was covering before the day and on the day.

We used "Events by L" on March 16, 2013 for our St Patrick's Day themed wedding. I shopped several planners and they were by far the best priced in the area. Communication was great! Phone calls and email were returned promptly. Laurie and Lisa had great ideas! They guided me through so many things I had no clue about! We used almost all their recommended vendors and all of them were amazing! I found out after the wedding that they took care of a few minor problems at the venue. My wedding turned out perfect. Thanks Laurie and Lisa! Can't wait to use you at our baby shower. Due in winter 2014!! :)

I have never come across planners more connected, caring, valuable, fun, or creative as Laurie and Lisa. Believe me when I say this coming from a family of 5 older siblings, all of which have been married a time or two. I am so glad I chose Events by L and got to work with Laurie and Lisa. It is clear that they truly love what they do and they want every bride to have the most beautiful, most perfect wedding day. They are extremely creative and will envision special touches above and beyond what is necessary to make you feel like the most important person of the event. It is so evident that every bride in their eyes is unique, and they do a fabulous job of personalizing and ensuring your day is one of a kind! These girls are professional, but fun, and are priceless when it comes to staying stress free and making the planning process enjoyable. I would never consider NOT having Laurie and Lisa and would suggest them for anything you are planning!!!!

We hired Events by L as month-of planners for our wedding. They were very professional and definitely knew the business well. They were helpful in pointing some things out I had not thought of (and I was pretty on top of things :) ) that needed coordinating. They took full charge in communicating with our other vendors, which we greatly appreciated. Our only critique (constructive!) is that they seem a little "mass production" and our relationship with them as planners did not feel as personal as I would have hoped. We received e-mails with checklists that did not match up with what we had already done that definitely were automated e-mails that they send to all of their clients. I felt better personal connections with the other vendors we hired who made me feel that we weren't just another event they had in their schedule. But that is my only critique. Overall we hardly saw them during the day which we were surprised by, but we understand their job is to try not to bother the bride and groom. I am sure a lot of the behind the scenes work turned out beautifully because of them. Events by L are a very upbeat and friendly team. You would not steer wrong in choosing them for planners.
