Amina was an absolute dream to work with! I shared my vision with her, and she executed it flawlessly. I was truly amazed by how she transformed a hotel space into a breathtakingly beautiful wedding venue. The transition from the ceremony to the reception was seamless, and every detail of the decor was absolutely stunning.
Amina was also incredibly responsive throughout the process. We had both in-person and Zoom meetings, and she was always just a text message away if I had any questions or concerns. Her professionalism and dedication to making our day perfect were unparalleled.
If I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would! I highly recommend her for any wedding, especially if you’re planning an Indian wedding, as we did. She truly brought our vision to life and made our day unforgettable. -

Beautiful decor
Event Envy’s work at our wedding reception was beautiful and surpassed our expectations! We hired them to provide a full stage decor that would be the backdrop to our reception. The stage ended up being stunning and elegant and fit the rest of our decor and florals perfectly. Amina was incredibly helpful during the whole planning process. In early discussions, she understood our vision and our budget and helped us meet both without pushing us to spend more (like many other vendors). In the end, we were floored by the stunning stage and spent plenty of time getting portraits with it. -

If you are looking for a dedicated, talented, caring, and all-around fantastic team for decoration, look no further than Event Envy!! Amina is, simply put, incredible. She worked with us so diligently from the moment we met with her to help us bring our dream sangeet, ceremony, and reception to life within the budget that we had. She was always on top of things and was also incredibly patient (I definitely had moments of being an indecisive bride!!). I'd also like to emphasize that she is transparent and sincere when it comes to discussing costs and sharing her opinions on what is necessary to make the overall vision come true, which was really helpful for us. Not only that, she and her team were present on-site for all events, and she personally ensured that the arrangements were as we had discussed. We are just so, so grateful that we found Event Envy, and going with them for decoration was one of the best decisions we could have made!!! Thank you all so, so much! -

Amina and Mehdi were fabulous to work with. I worked with them to plan a Walima in Baltimore. I had no idea of what my vision should be or anything about decor for that matter, but through zoom calls, texts, in person visits to their warehouse to look at what they had available, Amina and Mehdi were able to guide us to a final vision that they executed FLAWLESSLY. Their attention to detail was amazing, with the team making some changes to some of the florals after set up and before the event to get the perfect aesthetic. Amina and Mehdi were extremely communicative and responsive, and extremely kind throughout the entire process. Oh, and one more thing - the pricing; extremely reasonable for what is charged for weddings. I would work with Amina and Mehdi again without any hesitation. -

Amina and her team are simply amazing. They provide excellent service and beautiful décor at very reasonable prices. From the start, Amina was so friendly, easy to work with, organized, and professional. She was clear about the costs of the packages and items we were interested in but was also flexible on the ultimate design because her priority was to make sure we were happy with the final product.
In the year of planning we did, Amina also made herself available to us whenever we had questions or wanted to change anything. Since we did not work with a planner until the last four weeks before the wedding, Amina’s friendliness, flexibility, competence, and promptness in responding to us made the planning process so much easier. She even let us visit the Event Envy warehouse to look at both completed decorations and works under construction to get an idea of the process that goes into handcrafting such beautiful and intricate mandaps.
On the day of, the décor was absolutely perfect and everything we had envisioned—Mehdi and the team made sure of it! We are so grateful to have found Event Envy and we would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

I would give Event Envy 10 stars if I could. If you are looking for a decorator that knows how to brighten up any venue,choose to go with Event Envy. The owner, Amina, truly knows her stuff and is very knowledgeable and caring. The rates are also reasonable and affordable. Her staff works very hard to ensure they do a very clean and professional job. -

Event Envy is top notch full service designer in working to help make most amazing events for your wedding! They truly helped to bring to life the vision for our son/daughter in law’s wedding events. Each day was uniquely designed, leveraged the beautiful historical Grand Baltimore and wowed the guests. This was all done within provided budget with high quality materials and florals. Amina and Mehdi make a great team. Mehdi built a unique stage for the couple and towering arrangements spanning 2- 22’ head tables. Amina was very easy to work with and stayed true to her word when she said “we do not cut corners “. Bravo Event Envy! -

Amazing Team!
Mehdi and his team were absolutely were amazing! We hired them for the day of our Sangeet and they were so great! Unfortunately the day of the event there was a heavy rainstorm, hailstorm, and tornado warning and to make things worse, our event was outside but in a covered tent!! But Mehdi and his team came to the rescue! They were patient and made sure our vision came to life. They did a beautiful job with our backdrop and centerpieces even in the terrible weather. It started raining again towards the end of the night and unfortunately they had to break everything down and pack up in that weather as well. They went above and beyond for our event and I can't thank them enough! -

I had a last minute big Indian wedding and had 4 weeks to plan & pull off the event. I messaged Amina through the Events Envy website, and within hours, we were on a zoom call discussing my ideas, and within less than 12 hours, I had a detailed vision/plan/quote from Amina. Amina is extremely fast, detail oriented, and reliable.
Apart from her beautiful work which completely transformed the venue, she was extremely kind and understanding of our rather tight budget. She made us feel so comfortable during the entire process, and we didn't have to worry about stretching our budget or any other concerns on the day of.
On the day of, things didn't go as planned with our timeline, but she was able to turn over the wedding ceremony hall to a reception hall in just a few hours. She even hired extra staff (without us incurring any extra cost), to make the almost impossible happen. I wouldn't trust anyone else to pull this off apart from Amina & Mehdi.

Event envy was the best vendor I’ve ever worked with! Amina was very professional, sweet, responsive, and budget friendly! Their work was phenomenal. Amina did two of our stages- for the mehendi and almost reception- both were beautiful and her and Mehdi worked with our budget! We really wanted our mehendi stage done for a Saturday and they were busy because of a another wedding that got booked before I booked- so event envy worked with me and came a few days before to set up my stage! They bent over backwards for us! Despite both having other full time jobs- they still kept in contact with us and were very prompt to reply with any questions we had and also to assure us throughout the process. Flawless work done by them for an amazing price. -

Ours was an Indian wedding.Amina Jaladi and her husband were the best! She was god-sent, we had only 15 days to go for the wedding and she exceeded my expectations! I was looking for someone who had elegant tastes as well as worked within our budget. The venue was at Crowne Plaza, Herndon. She was so easy to work with, was always on time.
We previously paid money to a strong headed and arrogant Indian wedding decorator in Ashburn whose tastes were way too different from ours(read cheap) and also refused to work in our budget despite saying otherwise.So decided to let her go. It was then that we understood that these kind of people can cause trouble till the D-day.
We found event envy via google ,called Amina and she came to meet us at a nearby Starbucks the very same day! Loved her attitude and her energy. We 100% trusted her to show up and do her magic, man she didn't disappoint us a bit. She had some interesting suggestions and gave us some extra decor for free even!We have attached some pics for you to see.

He is super nice to work with and I definitely would recommend him as his work is worth the price (really reasonable) - I would say that if you trust Mehdi, you're gonna be in good hands for sure.

Mary Sent on 08/21/2016I would highly recommend Event Envy if you would like your wedding venue to look like a fairytale! I ordered chair covers/bands, pipe and drape and blue uplighting to go behind the sweetheart table (we wanted to hide a few partitions that jutted out from the ballroom wall). It looked phenomenal! Event Envy even did the entire set up and breakdown for us. They really took care of us from start to finish. I worked with Mehdi, who was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire experience. He even followed up after the event to see how it went and to let me know that he would be crediting back the difference since we ended up requesting less chair covers than we had originally anticipated. Their prices are very reasonable as well! I would definitely recommend Event Envy. They are true magicians in the art of transforming a venue. Thank you so much for everything you all did to make our day extra special! :) -

Budget Friendly Option!
Mehdi is a pure genius. He takes his time to understand your needs and also understand your budget. Based on that he provides suggestions that will satisfy both what you as clients want as well as stay within your budget. We wanted an elegant look for our wedding and reception decor, but something that would stay within our budget. We had countless of conversations with Mehdi on what exactly we wanted and what budget we wanted to stay within. Mehdi took everything in consideration and created a look that was elegant, what we wanted, and also budget friendly. He was extremely accommodating right from the start. You won't regret your decision if you go with Mehdi and team! Thank you Event Envy & Mehdi! -
