I didn't want a wedding because I didn't want the stress of planning our big day. My wife on the other hand wanted the biggest celebration she could imagine and Sabrina with Event Effects made it happen for the both of us. We had contacted and spoken to a few wedding planners to get a feel for them and the space that the provided but when we meet with Sabrina and I explained to her that I didn't want any of the stress of planning this wedding she said I got you. I told her the only thing that was important to me was the colors of our wedding (blue, white, and silver) and when she said she got this she did. Even though it poured down raining on our wedding day, which we were having an outside wedding, she re-arranged everything for a beautiful indoor wedding and reception. She made sure that I knew when all my tasting were and had everything laid out beautifully. I am a big fan of Publix cakes and she made that happen as well, it was a beautiful cake and all of the food at the wedding was flavorful and delicious. The things that I appreciated the most is that she listened to both of us, gave her thought and opinions on what she thought would look right but never forced her opinions on us and also the fact that we got what we wanted for our day for our budget. If I can share any advise it would be to have a budget in mind, be flexible with some of the things you think you must have, and give Sabrina a call because she is excellent at was she does. -

To my knowledge this person was never a client of mine.
It is a practice of my company that all clients pay before the services are rendered. -
User888277 Sent on 08/05/2012Sabrina provided "day of" coordinator services for my wedding. She was unprofessional and in the end not very helpful. She made promises that she did not keep, and did not help with the flow of my wedding. I would not recommend her services at all.Event Effects's reply:

User1510678 Sent on 01/17/2014Sabrina/Event Effects was to provide decor for my full wedding- Ceremony and Reception. Sabrina was very unresponsive to emails and text messages and was also very dishonest. She would always claim she wasn't receiving my emails, but I know that was not true because I attached "read receipts" on all of them. So I knew she was not being honest. Sabrina did not deliver ANYTHING we agreed upon in our contract on my wedding day. Sabrina was to arrive at 10am on my wedding day to decorate. My wedding started at 4pm and Sabrina did not show up until 6:30pm. Needless to say NOTHING was executed in any way that was agreed upon, and my family actually had to get involved and help "make do" with what we had. Sabrina blamed the fact that she didn't have any of the decor, flowers, vases, etc. on a tornado in Oklahoma which was also a lie. She promised to refund us our money but we never heard from her again. When it was time for her to refund us our money Sabrina faked an illness and lied and said she was in the hospital. I know this was a lie because I called The Rose Garden where she works and spoke with the director who had no idea Sabrina was "sick" or in the hospital because she had just seen and spoken to her. To make a long story short- DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR.Event Effects's reply:
I do remember this client and yes there were problems that were out of my control.
But some of things said about me and my company are not true.
Even with the missing items the room was beautiful.
Compliments were given to me by her Mother and several guest.
I was willing to refund the requested amount but the client ask for a full refund which I was not willing to give.
I turn this over to my attorney
I would also like to say that this client came to me as a referral.
There are also pictures of her wedding that she posted and showed off proudly.
