Beautiful + Affordable Professional Lighting
We worked with Bobby at Event Dynamics for our April wedding at The Cloisters Castle, and he was a consummate professional every step of the way. He was very familiar with our venue and had a working relationship with our coordinator already, so communication was smooth, even when we requested that they put up bunting alongside the lighting after we'd already paid our deposit. He also made sure to stay flexible when it looked like it might rain and we had to make a decision on the day of the rehearsal whether to set up inside or outside. The lighting and bunting looked gorgeous in the end! You highly recommend working with Event Dynamics to take your wedding lighting to the next level. -

Perfect Decor Vendor
I hired this vendor for my 10/19/24 wedding. They made our ballroom look absolutely spectacular. Our room had poles throughout, and they draped them and put lights on them to look beautiful. Very easy to communicate with, and would 10/10 highly recommend -

I hardly had to think about it! In the best way possible!
We selected our service - booked - and I didn't have to think about it again! Event Dynamics interfaced with the venue and all my husband and I did was show up! They room looked great, and coordination was taken care of, what more can you ask for! -

Great reputation for a reason
We used Event Dynamics and worked with Bobby to arrange the lighting/draping for our September 2024 wedding- they certainly lived up to their excellent reputations. Our space looked beautiful and it is clear they have the entire process down to a science. We absolutely recommend! -

Accommodating and Easy to Work With
Event Dynamics set up a drape, disco balls, and cafe string lights at our wedding at the Accelerator Space in Baltimore in June 2024. Bobby is an absolute pro at what he does. He was super accommodating when we asked to add a few things and gave his opinion on what would look best and where we could save some money. In the end, it all looked fantastic. We particularly appreciated the quick responses and price transparency. Thank you Bobby! -

Great Lighting & Drapery
Event Dynamics was fantastic to work with for the lighting & drapery. Bobby worked with us over multiple emails to determine everything we wanted and was very flexible. On the day before, the installer noticed something seemed off in the notes with the drapery and communicated with us to make sure it was set up correctly. Everything turned out beautifully, and the team was super quick in flipping the main room from ceremony set up to reception. We could not be happier! -

Excellent quality, prices, and surprise bonuses
We are so glad that we chose Event Dynamics to handle the dance floor and lighting for our wedding. We knew we could trust them, as Bobby was a pleasure to work with. He constantly was responsive to our communications and worked well with both me and our wedding coordinator. We cooperated with the other brides at our venue that weekend to share items, and Event Dynamics offered us great discounts for doing so. My partner and I even got more than we had planned with lighting at no extra cost, making our wedding exponentially more elegant. It was the perfect bonus--almost like Event Dynamics' gift to us. Absolute Professionals
I had a waterfront wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, which lists Event Dynamics as one of a handful of vendors that you must go through for lighting/decor. I can see why they're on this preset list!
My only complaint--which is super minor--is that their website seems a bit outdated. It loads very slowly when you first go to it, and I wish their 'Services' page was more descriptive in terms of what they offer rather than a couple generic sentences. For example, if they had a list of services/options then a description and photo of that service or option, that'd be helpful. Like I didn't know what gobo lighting or pinspot lighting or drapery swag was until I googled it, but it would have been nice to see it all in one place on their website. They do have the 'portfolio' page that gives you some ideas, but again, I don't know what the item is called that is being pictured, so I ultimately have to download the photo and send it to them to be like, "I want what's in this photo." Again, super minor complaint.
I almost also had a last-minute venue change when CBBC asked us if we wanted to 'upgrade' to a different space at no charge, and Bobby Dill and Event Dynamics worked quickly to turnaround a new proposal/pricing for me. We ultimately ended up not taking the upgraded (read: bigger) space and Bobby quickly reverted the pricing proposal back to what it originally was. Overall, a great vendor to work with! -

Great Experience!
We had a great experience working with Bobby at Event Dynamics for our wedding reception at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. Bobby was extremely professional and timely with communication and providing us several quotes leading up to our wedding. We could not have been happier with how the string lighting and mirror ball turned out, and our guests raved about the room’s aesthetic and appearance. Just what I wanted!
When we first toured our reception venue, Accelerator Space, Event Dynamics had already set up pipe & drape and bistro lights for an event. We were sold immediately. The pipe & drape at our wedding was perfect to distinguish between cocktail hour and the reception and the lights over the dance floor were a great touch. Bobby was easy to communicate with from start to end. Highly recommend if you're looking for a professional team that will instantly elevate your space. -

We used Event Dynamics for the lighting and drape at our wedding located at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. Upon inquiry, Bobby promptly provided me with a list of pricing and photo examples of all the lighting options available at the venue; seeing examples of the lighting options was very helpful to choosing which styles we wanted to use. The pricing was competitive and Bobby and team were very quick with communication, making the entire process easy. The finished product looked great and added so much ambiance to our wedding. Event Dynamics was straightforward and easy to work with from day 1. They got got to me with a quote very quickly, their payment system is easy and we didn't have any issues with setup or execution the day of the wedding - that I know of :) Our reception was at the Winslow and we used garden lights, uplighting and drapery. Beautiful lighting!
We hired Event dynamics for our October 2022 wedding. Our venue had an exclusive contract with them for lighting in the garden. They were very professional and easy to work with. They made it easy to choose the design of the lighting layout. We even ended up getting a discount, because the couple who was getting married at our venue the day before, had the same lighting design as us. Everything turned out so beautiful!!! -

Responsive and Professional with Beautiful Results!
My husband and I had a great experience working with Bobby from Event Dynamics for our wedding at Gramercy Mansion! Event Dynamics provided ceiling draping, a dancefloor, lights, and draping for our wedding ceremony arch.
Bobby was very responsive and patient with us as we determined exactly what we were interested in, particularly with regard to the lights. He provided a lot of supplemental information to my husband, who wanted to use the lights to create a sort of light show during our reception for dancing.
His team arrived on time and checked in with us to make sure they understood the layout and exactly where everything needed to be placed. They made sure we were happy with how the dancefloor was set up and how the draping on the arch looked. They also showed my husband how to operate the lights and when they found some weren't working appropriately they quickly replaced them and even threw in a few extra! Everything looked beautiful and the lights added a lot of fun to the reception!
We highly recommend working with Event Dynamics! -

Got them off of the vendor list for our wedding the Mt. Washington Mill Dye-House. Had a vision that would have cost the same amount that we spent on the entire wedding. While they were willing to do it, Bobby explained everything to me in the nicest way possible and gave me several other options. Other companies I spoke to didn’t give me other options and seemed more like they were trying to make the money grab. So glad I went with Event Dynamics. They were easy to work with and to my surprise even the guests were commenting on how beautiful the lighting was. -

Gorgeous Draping
Event Dynamics was instantly recommended by our venue, Gramercy Mansion, to help us decorate our reception space. The space where we would eat dinner also acted as our ceremony space in the event of rain. Event Dynamics elevated the natural beauty of the atrium with draped fabric. Our venue (Engineers Club) is old so gets a little dark at night. Also multiple rooms. We loved the drapes that got put up between the ceremony room and dinner room--so elegant. And hte extra up lighting in a couple rooms that don't have as many windows really made the place glow! -

Bobby is excellent!
I highly recommend Event Dynamics for lighting and draping! I had the pleasure of working with Bobby for my wedding, which was unfortunately postponed twice due to COVID-19. However, Bobby was extremely responsive and flexible when it came to changing around plans and dates. Event Dynamics even allowed us to split the cost of lighting for our reception when there was a back-to-back wedding at our venue in the same weekend. It was such a nice gesture!! The lighting that they provided really brought the space together and I'm so glad that we were able to work with Event Dynamics to bring our vision to life! -

Beautiful Lighting and Awesome Pricing
Bobby was awesome to work with, giving recommendations on the best types of lighting for the look we wanted to achieve and what went well with our venue as well as providing sample pictures of what they've done there in the past. He was extremely responsive to emails and his prices were fantastic. The lighting was beautiful at our wedding and added the perfect touch. Highly recommend. -

Essential to Any Venue
Bobby and the Event Dynamics team were phenomenal. My lighting was perfect inside and outside, and I couldn't have been happier with them as a partner.
One of the nicest parts of the lighting with Event Dynamics is that they let me share lighting (and costs) with brides from over the weekend. (I got married on Tuesday, 12/31/2019 and was able to share with brides who got married on 12/28 and 12/29, which is very generous.
Would absolutely hire them again! -

Life Saver
Talk about a team that makes dreams come true! I had mistakenly thought our venue always had draping up and didn’t find out that wasn’t the case until 2 weeks before our wedding date. I called Bobby in a panic begging him to fit us into this schedule. He was extremely understanding and spoke with a few other couples to see if he could fit us into this already full schedule. Magically, he was able to work something out and helped make our venue look like an absolute fairy tale. -

The Perfect Lighting Touch
Bobby and the team from Event Dynamics made our wedding day perfect and beautifully lit. He hung the perfect string lighting for our outdoor wedding and he went above and beyond to help my Dad hang photos from an oak tree at our venue and made sure it was perfect. An Elegant Touch
The lighting at my daughter’s reception perfectly accentuated the stately grandeur of The George Peabody Library. The soft lighting strung across the 61 foot atrium brilliantly revealed the magnificent elegance of the five tiers of ornate black and brass railings. That single touch perfectly captured the mood at The Peabody Library and the experience would have been incomplete without it.

Highly recommend Event Dynamics! They installed café lights over our reception space, a number of uplights, and a beautiful drape to frame the entrance into our cocktail hour. Every element was set up perfectly and looked beautiful - they made a big impact on the look and feel of our reception.

Tasteful and elegant lighting
I didn't know anything about reception lighting prior to planning my 200-person ballroom wedding reception, and I was a little skeptical about uplighting and pinspotting as I was looking for services to cut from our ballooning budget. After working with Event Dynamics and seeing the result of their efforts, I can definitely say that choosing an experienced lighting vendor is important! The walls of the ballroom were covered in a pearlescent gray color, which reflected soft violet uplighting beautifully during our reception. Once the ballroom lights were dimmed for dancing, our centerpieces were still tastefully highlighted with pin spots, which contributed to the romantic ambiance. Lighting really matters, and the value for the service made it even more worthwhile. Event Dynamics did a fantastic job setting the stage for a wonderful evening. Would highly recommend! -

Beautiful Decor
We worked with Event Dynamics, and more specifically Bobby Dill, throughout our planning process. We needed a dance floor and lighting to go over the lawn area of our venue where our ceremony and cocktail hour were held. Bobby was extremely responsive to every email and very helpful. The lighting and dance floor were installed right on time and looked amazing! They were familiar with our venue and worked well with all involved parties.
Bobby was easy to communicate with and explained everything along the way so that there were no surprises or extra headaches to deal with. The lighting and dance floor they provided really helped to round our venue (Historic London Town and Gardens) and helped make our wedding a day we'll never forget. We felt comfortable working with Bobby and Event Dynamics from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone! -

Best pipe&drape!
I wanted pipe and drape to cover areas of the museum (my reception space) that I was unable to know what would be on display before wedding day. I emailed Event Dynamics at the recommendation of the museum staff as they are very familiar with Frederick Douglass Isaac Myers Maritime Park. With only an email and follow up phone call, Bobby Dill with Event Dynamics was able to perfectly execute my vision for the space. I think it’s telling when people don’t even realize there is pipe and drape in the room because it looks like permanent decoration and that’s exactly what happened Wedding day - family who had previously seen the space didn’t realize until they were looking at pictures later that the walls had been draped with beautiful fabrics. Event Dynamics also provided cafe lighting to better set the mood!
I highly recommend Event Dynamics for all of your piping and draping and lighting needs. They are truly professionals and your event will look amazing!

Even though I was back and forth whether I needed anything extra to my reception, I finally decided to look into lighted lanterns to be hung. We had our reception at the AVAM and Bobby was very helpful in getting us what we wanted. The colorful lanterns were so much bigger than I thought and it took my breath away when I walked into the room! My husband and I hired Event Dynamics to take care of our lighting and other decor needs during our August 2018 wedding at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in Baltimore, MD. We had full cafe lighting throughout the venue, four uplights and a ceremony arch adorned with hand-folded paper cranes I had made. We were absolutely thrilled with the entire process of working with Bobby and his team! We initially contacted Bobby via email and he provided us with a very comprehensive list of options and pricing for all the possible decor offerings he provided for our venue. He even told us about a special promotion/percentage off his company offers if we shared some of our lighting decor with a bride who was using the same venue as us later in the week. Not everyone would be so upfront about that -- what a transparent business! Throughout the entire process Bobby was very easy to work with and pleasant to chat with via phone/email. He never made me feel like my questions, particularly about my cranes, were annoying or too much. On the actual big day, Bobby and his team totally delivered. The space was beautifully lit and the archway was perfect! One of our uplights didn't end up working but Bobby graciously offered us a refund for that single light. Honestly, the lighting his team provided, and the arch with my cranes, made our wedding decor unique and memorable. Several of our guests commented on how lovely of a job they did. I would hire Bobby and his team again in a heartbeat!-

We used Event Dynamics to string cafe lighting the length of the Accelerator Space (Our wedding venue) and also do a drape that separated our reception from our cocktail hour. Having my wedding in a very unadorned space (the JRVC reception room at the Visionary Art Museum) meant I really got to see what an expert lighting company can do to transform a space. We used event dynamics for sound during our ceremony as well as lighting and pipe and drape during our reception. They were incredibly responsive, well priced, and easy to work with. Bobby was extremely flexible with us and worked to make our wedding day perfect. -

Lighting was one of the last things I did in planning our daughter's wedding and wow, what a difference it made. I only emailed Bobby and basically put it all in his hands on his recommendation for our room. He's worked at several venues across Maryland and really does know exactly what you need. He had several suggestions which were cost saving measures . I had no idea honestly what pin spotting and uplighting were but when I went into the room for the first time to look, my jaw dropped, it was that gorgeous. My husband, who notices nothing, even commented on what a difference pinspotting made. Thank you, Bobby, for all your efforts in making our room just gorgeous!! -

Bobby from Event Dynamics provided exactly the kind of lighting I wanted for my wedding. I got married in the George Peabody Library, and I wanted the epic cafe lighting I had seen in so many other photos online. Event Dynamics drew up our contract right away (even though he was away on holiday when we were initially emailing- he wrote up the contract and secured the date for us!). He was honest when it came to telling me what he thought I should get for the lighting in that space even though his honesty meant that we wouldn't need to use all his possible services! The cafe lighting (or twinkle lights as I like to say), simply took my breath away. It adds to the depth and the majestic feeling within the library and I am over the moon happy with the job they did. If you are getting married in the library, you MUST use Event Dynamics to make sure your night is a fairy tale come to life! -

We got married at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore and booked Event Dynamics for the cafe lights (seen in one of the pictures they have above) as well as for a curtain backdrop for the ceremony. Bobby was always very quick to respond to my emails and he was very helpful and understanding. The week before the wedding I started having second thoughts about certain aspects of the floor plan that would have required us to not use the curtain backdrop. Bobby was very patient with me and was willing to make any changes I wanted. He also offered to provide any assistance or feedback that would help alleviate any concerns/stress. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend. -

Bobby and his team are the best! We hired Event Dynamics to provide bistro lights over our reception space and drapery for a ceremony and cocktail areas. Bobby was super easy to work with and everything looked amazing that night. One guest even said the room looked "magical", which I think was thanks to the bistro lights (everything looks better in a room with pretty lighting!). Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!! -

We worked with Bobby on decor for our daughters reception at the Loews Annapolis, Bobby knocked it out of the park!!! He took a conference room and along with our florist turned the place into our daughters dream. She was wowed at the room at first sight. I highly recommend this company for any of your wedding decor needs. They are awesome and very reasonable with their pricing -

I loved working with Bobby! The ease of communication, the reasonable prices and the overall quality of what we walked into the night of the wedding was unbelievably wonderful. We even had to add a microphone last minute because it totally slipped my mind for the officiant and instead of trying to make a buck off of us, Bobby knew we had a DJ and suggested contacting the DJ who would probably give us a better price. In New York (were we live) that would have NEVER happened. It was such a breath of fresh air and such an honest business move - I knew then we picked the right vendor! Everything was great, thank you so much! OH! Also, if you're getting married at the Peabody Library, I wouldn't bother looking for anyone to do lighting other than Event Dynamics, no one knows the place better than Bobby :) -

We held our wedding reception at the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) in Baltimore. Bobby/Event Dynamics is a regular lighting and decor provider at AVAM and his expertise in terms of what works best in the different AVAM spaces is terrific. Bobby is very easy to talk to and work with. He's clearly a trusted partner at AVAM; he and AVAM work together pretty seamlessly. The decor and lighting really made the space festive and lively. I felt throughout the planning stages -- and on the day of our reception -- that I was in very good hands. -

We used Event Dynamics for some last minute dance floor cafe lighting and drapery, and Bobby was a pleasure to deal with. He made it so easy and stress-free. We couldn't have been happier with the results, either. The drape looked fantastic and the lights made a big difference on our dance floor. If we had to do it again, we wouldn't change a thing! -

Event Dynamics was absoluetly wonderful to work with. They are true masters of their business. Bobby was my main contact and he was always very prompt with email replies. He did not have to do this for us, but... he informed us of a way to execute our idea by saving some expense. We truly appreciated this; he did not have to let us in on this information but it allowed us to spend that money elsewhere to make our wedding exactly how we dreamed. As a young couple on a tight budget, it meant the world to us that he would watch out for us like that.

Event Dynamics was probably the easiest vendor to deal with. We exchanged a couple of emails to discuss what I had in mind and get payment handled and that was it! The lights were amazing (we did cafe lights strung across the stacks room in the George Peabody Library) and everyone loved them. Their pricing was also extremely fair! -

When we decided to get married at the Elkridge Furnace Inn we were originally going to leave the tent bare, and brighten it up with beautiful floral arrangements. That all changed when we went for a walk through and saw the beautiful bee lighting that Bobby had done. We got his number and booked him. I am so happy we did, because it softened the tent and made it look like a fairytale. -
