As a wedding caterer, we love working with Evans Orchard! The property is obviously beautiful, and the getting ready suite in the silo is so unique. The staff at Evans are always friendly, helpful, and dedicated to making sure the event is smooth.

My daughter just got married at Evans Orchard this past weekend and I can’t tell you how perfect it was! Jenn was a dream to work with from the moment we booked it. She was there every step of the way and accommodated every wish we had. I would not change a single thing!

WOW! I mean I cannot say enough about this venue and the event coordinator, Jenn. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, so is the drive to and from. Being a COVID bride was not easy, but Jenn made sure that everything ran smoothly. She coordinated with all of the vendors, helped create a timeline, and made sure everything flowed so nicely. Of all of the wedding venues in the Lexington and surrounding areas, this is by far the best. If you are looking for a venue, I highly recommend Evans Orchard Event Barn.

The venue was absolutely beautiful! Plus we got the barn the night before to start setting up. The staff was very helpful and the coordinator from Evans orchard helped make our day flow! We could not have asked for a better venue!

Jenn is a joy to work with and they have put in so much work to make the barn beautiful for an indoor or outdoor wedding. They include SO much in their package it is a fantastic deal and the team makes sure your weekend is all about you and that you have everything you need. Getting married here was one of the best decisions of our wedding!

Jenn Abney from Evans Event Barn was so very helpful and fun from the very first visit. She worked with her for over a year leading up to the event. She always had time for us, had great suggestions, and let us visit the venue any time we wanted. The wedding was supposed to be outside, but it rained all day. Turned out to be even more romantic having the ceremony inside the barn, with the twinkle lights and the soft patter of rain on the roof. It was a beautiful venue. We had 200 guests, half of which were from out of state, and they fell in love with Kentucky while in for the wedding. I'm the mother of the bride and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The venue was absolutely gorgeous. The bride and groom were very happy and received several compliments from guests regarding the barn and views. Jenn was incredible and very helpful every step of the way. We truly enjoyed the experience.

Magical. The best wedding venue we could have asked for. It was absolutely perfect. The barn is so beautiful it doesn’t even need much decorating. It’s that amazing! We loved that we had “church” outside for our ceremony. With church pews and a big cross. Jenn Abney the point person for Evans, was incredible. She knows what she is doing and helps everything run so smoothly. She was able to let myself and family be worry free on the big day! She also ran our rehearsal for us.

My husband and I are so grateful we were able to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Evan's Orchard Event Barn. The venue is breathtaking, and has many great features like a beautiful bride's room, groom's room, and caterer's room. They even offer planning services! Jenn and the Evan's Orchard team were amazing! I would highly recommend this venue!

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Evans Orchard Event Barn and could not have had a more positive experience. We visited several possible venues and chose Evans Orchard for several reasons. First -- the venue is stunning and unique while still maintaining a good cost value. Second -- Jenn, the coordinator for the Event Barn, was simply wonderful to work with. We have heard from many of our guests that the reception was perhaps the most smoothly run reception they've attended. This is in large part thanks to Jenn. My wife and I may be biased having been married at Evans Orchard Event Barn, but we could not have asked for a better venue or a better experience working with Jenn. We would recommend this venue for your wedding or event without reservation.

Evans was an amazing venue. Everything was beautiful and exactly how we had envisioned. The coordinator was so helpful and did everything we asked and more. I would highly recommend using them.

Absolutely fabulous in every way! My daughter and son-in-law were marriedthis past Saturday at Evans Orchard Event Barn. We could not have had a more perfect experience from the moment they selected this venue! The Barn and the surrounding area is beautiful. The orchards were green and the Barn has wonderful landscaping so there is no need to spend money to add flowers outside. The real treat is inside the Barn. The lighting makes the venue beautiful and fits any decor from rustic to elegant. The white tables and chairs, pews for the ceremony, bourbon barrels and tops were a real plus as we had very little outside rentals which had to be brought in. We had the barn from early Friday morning till noon on Sunday which allowed us to have our rehearsal and time to decorate and clean up. The Bride and Groom rooms were perfect for getting ready and staying cool in the August weather. With the doors open, there was a wonderful breeze and in the evening the lighted patio was a real hit with our guests.

Jenn Abney is the Venue Coordinator and is a critical component as to why this was a fantastic experience. She helped us from day one to make sure we had everything we needed and give us the benefit of her experience. We had Jenn provide on-site coordination at the rehearsal and on wedding day and her input and direction was spot on. The entire bridal party, families and our vendors loved working with her! She kept us on our timeline and was incredibly supportive and helpful to us at every turn. Thanks to Jenn Abney and Evans Orchard Event Barn for making our daughter's and son-in-law's day absolutely perfect!

Jordan and I recently had our wedding reception at Evans Orchard Event Barn on a chilly March day. Jen worked with us one on one with every detail and made it run so smoothly. Her mission is truly to make sure you have the day of your dreams. We can't say thank you enough to Jen and Evans Orchard staff--from setting up tables for us to planning our ceremony, this place is amazing!

Couples should go for it!!!! BOOK IT!!! It's an amazing back drop for your dream wedding! The staff is so helpful and easy to talk to! With the prices of the barn plus everything included (Chairs, tables) it's WELL worth it!!! The day of set up the staff was 2 mins away for whatever I needed!!!!!! Have an early ceremony so you have plenty of time to party down in this barn!!!!!!

We had our wedding at Evan's Orchard Event Barn in July 2016. Jen was so amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our reception went smoothly. The space is BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The best wedding experience we could of dreamed of or even hoped for our daughter. The event coordinator made sure that every need was taken care of. She worked with us with the planning, coordinating, and the follow through. Our wishes and needs were all met. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly. The grounds were spectacular which made for the perfect setting. The barn was ready for us when we arrived to set up and looked amazing. The barn offers a place for the groom to get ready and a brides room. It also has another room that can be used for catering needs. The grounds were beautiful and offer many parking spaces. I am so happy with our experience and would HIGHLY recommend your next event here. You will not be disappointed. If you are looking for an amazing atmosphere and beautiful setting, this is the place. We had the perfect and the most memorable day.

The barn is beautiful, and the event space is worth the money. My wedding turned out beautiful, but the sales staff gave me the worst experience. We booked this venue in the beginning of 2014, we were excited to get married at a place we came to every fall. However, unannounced to us the orchard booked another event after we had signed our contract and given them our full deposit. We voiced our concerns that we didn't like that they booked another event and didn't let us know, and that it would intervene with our wedding. WE WERE PROMISED THAT THE OTHER EVENT WOULD NOT MESS WITH OUR WEDDING. Which was a lie, the other event they booked was for a very popular news channel offering a FREE field day at the orchard. This caused traffic to be a stand still a mile before entering the orchard. The orchard was UNPREPARED for the overbearingly crowd they had. I had scheduled my photos to be taken with my bridal party at 2pm and I myself didn't get there until 4pm 2 hours before my wedding because of traffic. Stressed out and scrambling we some how got the decorations and everything here on time with a 10min late start time. I had to take all of my photos after my ceremony which took time out of my reception. I understood that the orchard couldn't control how much traffic they had caused by booking this other event, but I least wanted to let them know that my experience right before I walked down the isle was stressful. When my mother sat down with the orchard to tell them the trouble we had after the wedding, the owner was apologetic and stated that this would never happen again. The person who booked the events for the orchard simply stated that they always book 2 events when they can and it has never been an issue before, and didn't even apologize. We didn't not ask for our money back because we did use the space, however I would tell any bride BEWARE they made us fell like our wedding was not as important as the other event. We unfortunately will not be back in the fall.
