We worked with Lauren as a day-of coordinator for our wedding and are so glad we did! She was so organized and helpful with the final stages of the planning process, and then I felt so calm and fully able to relax and enjoy my wedding day knowing she was handling all of the logistics. She and her assistant, Nicole, managed multiple last-minute adjustments that I didn't even realize were happening! Nicole was also so delightful and helped meet our every need throughout or wedding day. We got to feel like royalty! Thank you!

SUPER helpful!

Lauren was just what we needed. We opted for the "day of" coordination which was really more like the "two months before and day of" coordination! Lauren was well organized, helpful, and kept us on track. She seamlessly coordinated our vendors and confirmed everything would run on schedule (even me, the bride, who despite Lauren's best attempts... was still late!). Thank you Lauren!

Best Decision we Made in Planning Our Wedding

Hiring Lauren was the best decision we made for our wedding. She allowed us to enjoy our wedding, seamlessly, without having to worry about any logistics. We did not think we would need a day-of coordinator, but now the one piece of advice I give friends with upcoming weddings is to hire a coordinator, especially for a DIY venue. Lauren spent hours planning, coordinating, and meeting with us. We had several meetings to nail down a specific timeline and discuss the layout of the wedding, during which she brought up aspects of the wedding that we would not have thought of otherwise (e.g., guestbook, order of events, assigning people to be in charge of collecting gifts, etc.). She was also always available for questions. In the month leading up to the wedding, she contacted every vendor, distributed our timeline, and even made signs for our wedding with beautiful calligraphy. She was there for a rehearsal, and on the day-of, she handed out tips, did most of the set-up, and ensured everything was executed smoothly. Not one vendor or guest asked me anything about logistics during the whole wedding, thanks to Lauren. We could not recommend her more.

I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and her wedding planning and design services. We hired her for partial planning and design. I have to credit her for so many things... probably #1 being my sanity during this whole process! We planned a farm tented wedding from the ground up, bringing in ALL services and utilities, for 200 people, in less than 7 months. Wait, writing that, I can't believe we did that... and we couldn't have without Lauren's help!! Lauren's expertise in wedding planning, recommendations for vendors, calm demeanor, and attention to detail was just the best of the best, and we are so thankful to her for helping bring our wedding dream to life. She met with us prior to our wedding day on multiple occasions (including venue walk throughs) to make detailed decisions, figure out timelines, logistics, and to make sure we were building the day we imagined. I was worried about forgetting something important (bathrooms, generators), and she knew exactly what needed to be done and what we needed to make our day happen. As the day got closer, she coordinated with vendors in the two weeks prior so I wasn't getting a million emails from every different service and confusing myself on what was happening. She was always there to answer any question we had, answering emails promptly and giving her advice. On the day of, she set up all our decor items, ceremony chairs, etc. in the HEAT, and worked tirelessly during and after the wedding to help it run smoothly and pack up everything afterwards. In addition to the logistics of planning, Lauren is also incredibly creative! She helped design a beautiful space so our ceremony space was stunning, and our tent didn't look like a tent! She was just incredible and we will miss working with her. We recommend her services to anyone who is planning a wedding and needs a pro to make it extra special and perfect.

Lauren was an invaluable resource the weeks leading up to and especially the day of our wedding at Quonquont Farm. My husband and I planned our wedding out of state and Lauren was very accommodating to our sometime difficult schedules. We had several calls in the month leading up to the wedding, reviewing our timeline our expectations of the day. Lauren is a true professional and detailed oriented, thinking of many things we would have otherwise forgotten. In the weeks leading up to the day Lauren acted as the go between with our other vendors. This made for an essentially stress free wedding week for my husband and myself. She made sure everyone was on the same schedule and that people got where they had to be. Lauren additionally created our bar sign and seating assignment sign. They turned out beautiful, she was able to incorporate elements from our wedding invitation and they truly enhanced the atmosphere. Finally, in addition to all of the professional accolades, she is personable, warm and was a true pleasure to work with. Our wedding day would not have been as wonderful as it was without her help. When our venue first told us we needed a day-of coordinator, we weren't sure why. However, we couldn't imagine what our day would have been like without Eutopia Events. Hiring them was the best decision we made!!! Lauren was a godsend, plain and simple. She thought of things we would never have thought of and that attention to detail is what made our day so magical. Lauren is highly knowledgeable and responsive. And we loved that she also has a design background and got our aesthetic. Lauren helped take the vendor stress off of us in the days leading up to our wedding. Her expertise and past work with our vendors really helped calm our nerves when one of our vendors went temporarily missing. On the wedding day, everything was set up perfectly. Hiring a day-of wedding coordinator was one of the best investments I made for my wedding. Lauren was professional and knowledgeable and I was extremely grateful to have her expertise while planning my wedding. When I ran into some issues with my venue a few weeks before the wedding day, Lauren was key in helping me communicate my needs, set expectations, and make sure that all aspects of the day turned out well. On the actual day of the wedding, she ensured that everything ran smoothly and made sure I was enjoying myself. It made a big difference to have an event coordinator who seemed to care that everything turned out well just as much as I did! Lauren is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is truly a pleasure to work with - warm, friendly, and incredibly organized. She made the whole planning process feel totally manageable, asking all the right questions and providing expert guidance to make sure that every last detail was accounted for. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Eutopia Events was in coordinating our wedding. Lauren, Nicole and Lara were everything we could have asked for an more. I would recommend them time and time again for any event. They were fun, experienced, professional, and thorough. We had some unexpected things come up over the course of the wedding (as you can basically count on) and Lauren was all over it! My brother broke his leg at one point in the evening and I can't even explain how much it meant to me that she was there making sure he was okay and being taken care of, while the event was still running as planned. The wedding could have basically shut down at that point, but she kept everything moving like a complete professional. I'd gladly be a reference for Eutopia Events in the future. Stop wasting your time shopping around and call to see if they are available for your event!

Lauren made this day happen, I can't be more honest than that!
My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing, neither did any of our guests/family members which was incredibly important to us.
Lauren and her helper, Liz, kept the evening moving and kept our vendors on schedule. Every concern we had was addressed and overcome, and Lauren anticipated our needs before we even knew what they were!
We couldn't have kept track of all of the details without Lauren's help, and so we owe our stress-free day to her!!

Hiring Eutopia Events was the best decision we didn't expect to make when planning our wedding. Like many couples, we thought we could make this wedding thing happen all on our own. In retrospect, maybe we could have, but not with our sanity intact or the flawless evening that Lauren executed. Wedding planning is no joke and Lauren is no amateur. She knows her stuff and is a capable, confident, no-nonsense professional who is as talented as she is like-able. She was on point from the moment we hired her and never left us wondering if the event was going to come together like we expected. She made sure we knew it was. The "day of coordinator" is a total misnomer. Eutopia begins organizing well in advance (many, many months) of your event to make sure nothing is left unplanned. They are also quick to stay calm and successfully improvise if things go wrong the day of (like a town-wide power outage one hour before your wedding ceremony). We could never have enjoyed the planning process or the wedding itself like we did without having Eutopia Events on board. We cannot recommend them highly enough and can't imagine having planned our wedding without them!

If you're reading this because you're unsure if a wedding coordinator is for you, I promise you Eutopia Events was hands down the best money we spent for our wedding. I am a planner by nature, compulsively organized, & I loved working on every detail of of wedding- that being said, as the big day was arriving, I wanted to make sure my future husband & I also got to enjoy all the hard work and effort we had put into our wedding day. The last thing we wanted to do was "work" on our wedding day.

The "Day of Coordination" was the perfect fit for us, but don't let the name fool you, this service offers much more than 24 hours of help. Not only did we meet with Ruthie and Lauren twice before the wedding to ensure all the appropriate checks were checked (especially things we hadn't thought of- like activity baskets for kids, how to give away center pieces, etc), but on top of that- the week of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing in regards to vendors. Ruthie coordinated arrival times, communications, payments & made sure everything was seamlessly in place, so on our wedding day, we could focus on the most important thing- our love for each other, and sharing one of the most special days of our lives with our friends and family.

The fact that we had Eutopia on site the day of the wedding making sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be, when it needed to be there, not only relieved stress, but truly allowed us, our bridal party, & our family to enjoy everything, and most importantly, truly be present in all the wonderful moments that happened throughout the day. I can say without a doubt our wedding was exponentially more enjoyable because of the tasks that Eutopia took off our hands. I had the peace of mind the whole day that everything was going according to plan, & if anything wasn't going according to plan, Ruthie would fix it before we even realize anything went wrong. They were warm, professional & absolutely worth every penny! <3

Let me start off by saying, I am a wedding planner myself so finding other wedding planners that will meet all my expectations was no easy task. That being said, stop scrolling down, stop your endless search--YOU HAVE FOUND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. Ruthie and Lauren were amazing planners right from the beginning. We had an estate mansion wedding with COUNTLESS vendors, including a helicopter drop in. Being in the industry, I knew this wedding was going to be a lot of work but I was so happy that I trusted it in the hands of Lauren and Ruthie. After our first meeting, I felt completely confident that this wedding was going to run seamlessly. These made sure to create very detailed timelines for myself and all of our wedding vendors. The vendors loved this. The day of the wedding couldn't have gone more perfectly, that's how you know you chose the BEST planners! Lauren also created all of our signage for the wedding! Please inquire with her about this! Her calligraphic is gorgeous. At the end of the night, Lauren and Ruthie made sure all of our wedding items were secure within the mansion for us to pick up the following day. Wonderful doesn't even begin to describe Eutopia Events. Ruthie and Lauren were lifesavers as I was planning my CT wedding from DC. I hired them as day-of planners, but they were so much more. I was able to email them for help months before the wedding, and they were always quick to respond. They made sure I had all my boxes checked and the day of the wedding I completely trusted them to deliver, and they did. These ladies are the BEST when it comes to wedding planning. I could not imagine my day without the help of this team! I've known and worked with Lauren & Ruthie for years now....and when it came time to plan my big day I knew there was no question that these two would be there to make it flawless! From help with set-up, fabulous rental items, coordination, countless text messages and pow-wows there was never a doubt in my mind that the day would go off without a hitch. Obviously there were hitches...we ran late, My shoes wouldn't cooperate, pictures took longer than expected, there were unruly family members. Lauren, Ruthie and Nicole took are of EVERYTHING! They kept guests entertained while we were running late, Nicole gave me her shoes so I could walk down the aisle w/o falling over, the kept the cocktail hour going while we finished up pics and made sure we ate during, and managed to wrangle the most unruly family members & guests. My friends and family are still talking about how great it was to have them so that everyone could enjoy the day. Wedding planner is something not everyone considers for their wedding but should. I am not going to lie, when my wife and I were first looking to cut costs associated with our wedding, the wedding planner was one of my first suggestions. I did not know a whole lot about the services that would be provided, but I did know that our venue came with an event manager who I thought would provide many of the same services that Eutopia Events would provide....boy was I wrong. Our event manager was fantastic, but when it came to the details of the wedding, Ruthie and her team were amazing. There are so many aspects of a wedding that you do not think about until the last minute, but somehow Ruthie and Lauren made sure that those things were already thought of and taken care of. Eutopia took care of everything for us, from the day-of coordination, to the set-up, to bringing us some appetizers during our photos because they knew we wouldn't have a chance to eat. Ruthie was our all-star...she kept us calm throughout the day, always had a smile on her face, and was very flexible with the timeline. In the end, there was nobody that was more vital to our wedding day than Ruthie and the Eutopia team.

The wedding went beautifully (if there were any problems on the big day I never knew about it), and I've had many people tell me afterwards that it was one of the prettiest weddings they have been to. We first connected with Ruthie & Lauren only 2 months before my oldest son's First Communion. I sought out their help after a series of unfortunate events: the restaurant doubled booked & could no longer accommodate us in their banquet room. My family also had taken on a caregiver role for my dad who had suffered a major stroke. We were completely overwhelmed & unprepared for a major milestone in my son's life. They took care of every detail so that I could focus on my family. They transformed our backyard into a very beautiful celebration. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail from the menu selection, signature drinks, candy bar selection & even selecting a bible for our guests to highlight favorite verses to personalize for my son. This is a keepsake he still cherishes from that day. Even if I had a year to plan this event, I could never have come up with the details they provided. More importantly, I would never have truly enjoyed the day trying to pull it all together.
When it came time to plan another First Communion just two years later, I didn't even think twice about it. It would have been easy for Ruthie & Lauren to just duplicate the work they had done before & we still would have been pleased. However, they didn't a&took the time to really personalize the experience again. Another value that Ruthie & Lauren provide is that they truly do manage through all the details and last minute logistics that can pop up. With this event, we had a last minute they quickly solved. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the event was from the color selection, decor, popcorn/candy bar and other accents. I am so pleased with finding Eutopia Events because they truly are the best and have given my family the gift of two beautiful celebrations we will always cherish. I will always think of them for any event planning needs.

Let me save you some time. Stop looking for wedding planners - you've found them! Ruthie and Lauren are simply THE BEST, and I consider EE the best money I spent on my wedding. Let me say this, too: I am a type-A, organized, Brooklynite event planner type person myself, and they went above and beyond.

I also chose a venue that required a lot of thought and planning, and they thought of EVERYTHING (including bringing extension cords to keep the hot apple cider warm, since the outlets were far away from the reception area). I was able to not only enjoy my wedding, but the entire weekend because I knew they had absolutely everything handled better than I could have done myself.

At the reception, we somehow ran out of bourbon by the end of cocktail hour - but Ruthie and Lauren magically had more delivered by the start of dinner. Our coffee vendor sent pounds of whole bean coffee, having forgotten to grind - but Ruthie and Lauren somehow secured a grinder and ground the coffee themselves. These are only two small examples of their truly excellent work - all done with love, support, a smile and as much care given to your own wedding as if it were their own.

We had no idea what we were getting into when we tried the DIY-planning approach for our wedding in the beginning. We are both creative people, and still did do a lot of things on our own (designing and printing save the date cards, invitations, making decorations & favors, that kind of thing), but we can't imagine having pulled off the wedding of our dreams without Ruthie and Lauren. They made it all possible, and we will be forever grateful to them. We opted for partial-planning. Dealing with our inexperienced venue is at the top of the list of helpfulness during the week and day-of the wedding. In the early months, it was really helpful to have suggestions around our budget as well as vendor recommendations that suited our tastes and vision. They helped us stay on top of the planning--our regular meetings kept us on task and realistic in terms of when various tasks needed to be handled and finalized. Their calm, can-do attitudes were so helpful, and it's worth mentioning that they make good relationship mediators too!! Their detail-orientation play-by-plays were essential the 2 weeks before our day--they showed us that we could do it and were in great shape even when it didn't feel like it. The necessity of their collaborative handling of the rehearsal, venue setup, and day-of EVERYTHING cannot be overstated. We had planned an outdoor ceremony, and as the date approached with a 100% chance for rain, their encouragement, support, troubleshooting and creative handling were excellent--nothing short of miraculous in many ways! Our guests all commented on how seamless, organized, creative and personal our wedding was--and a huge portion of that is thanks to Eutopia. We would hire them over and over again.

Eutopia events worked miracles at our wedding. On very short notice, they were able to put together decorative and thematic elements to our reception that friends and family are still talking about. In particular, this company very creatively came up with the idea of a "candy bar," complete with vintage and classic candies to complement our theme of "Vintage Americana." The decorations were incredible, and all vendors suggested through this company were exceptional. Much personal contact before, during, and after the wedding weekend made it feel like this company was highly invested in seeing our vision, and then making that vision a reality. Their execution of the event was filled with professionalism without losing a personal, human touch. I highly recommend this company for all events.

I had Ruthie & Lauren make the most fun bridesmaid & groomsman hang over kits for our wedding. They were so well put together and very thoughtful. Lauren was in touch with me a few weeks before the wedding asking me about my colors and what ideas I had to put in these hangover kits. There so cute and I know our wedding party really appreciated them! The kits had mints, band aids, sunglasses, stain remover, and even a nip! Thank you both so much!

Eutopia is the real deal. They were incredibly on the ball. They were exceedingly polite. They were savvy. They kept us organized. They answered every question we had. They handled various emergencies with aplomb, including -- by way of one example -- coming up with creative solutions when we thought we had lost all hope of securing shuttle transportation to and from our wedding. They were quick to grasp our design aesthetic and they ran with it. They coordinated all of our vendors with finesse. We didn't have to bother with our vendors once during the week of the wedding because Eutopia was incredibly skilled at being our filter. We cannot imagine having done our wedding without them; in fact, it would have been an impossibility. In short, we adore them. Can they coordinate our whole lives for us?

Eutopia Events was great. I contracted with them for Day of coordination services, and I did so very last minute, like maybe 3 weeks before my wedding. They met with me via Skype, went through checklists but didn't make me feel stressed out that the wedding was already super imminent. They never mentioned or seemed stressed that I had brought them into the planning so late, and were just great to work with. The real value for me was their services at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Ruthie quickly took charge of the rehearsal in the nicest way possible, directed everyone, made sure we had enough time to go through it, and got us out the door on time. Day of, the music wasn't working and they handled it with very minimal impact to me and my peeps which was great. At the reception I just went to a fun awesome wedding and didn't have to worry about who was where or when things were happening, and they cleaned up everything and got all the gifts and favors and such together at the end of the night too. Our wedding was a little bit offbeat, but they never questioned our decisions to do things differently and always just figured out a way to make it work. They are worth the price.

We contacted Lauren & Ruthie to help us plan our son's 1st birthday party. We thought it would be nice to not have to worry about anything besides spending time with our son and family during the party, but we ended up benefiting so much more from their services! From the start, they were quick to respond to our request and our ideas and were more than willing to be flexible with the event plan in order to help us stay within our budget. Their plan was so much more polished and creative than anything we could have come up with ourselves, and the fact that we also didn't have to stress about prepping for the party or running out of time to get everything done took so much pressure off us and let us really enjoy the process and the monumental occasion of making it through our first year of parenthood! When we say we didn't lift a finger to prep...we aren't exaggerating! On the day of the party, the ladies arrived nice and early to take care of the decorations and set-up and to ensure the other vendors were on track. Throughout the party, we were able to focus on celebrating our son and enjoying the time with our family and friends. The logistics of the party had already been taken care of by Lauren & Ruthie, leaving us with absolutely nothing else to do. From the theme to the decorations, the cake to the favor bags -- the entire party was a hit with everyone who attended. Especially the birthday boy! The amount of time and the quality with which the ladies at Eutopia Events planned a small birthday party really impressed us -- this was a very small event compared to a wedding, but they treated it just as importantly. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning any size event on any budget, and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Professional, informative, classy and they throw one heck of a party!

The ladies of Eutopia Events are incredibly hard workers with a wealth of knowledge and resources.

Budget was a big factor for us and they did an amazing job keeping us where we needed to be and saving us a ton of money on decor and made sure it was quality items.

My other vendors love them and that makes a big difference too.

They made our day stress free and absolutely beautiful. We will be working with them on future events just because they are that great!

We can't wait to be a part of their Eventiques again too.

I would consider myself an organized person, and that leads to being an organized Bride, but Ruthie & Lauren helped keep me on track leading up to our wedding day, and that included details & to do’s I hadn’t even thought of! Those last few days would’ve been a disaster for me, without them. Ruthie and Lauren of Eutopia Events were AMAZING. Honestly I don't think we would have gotten through the day in the same way without them. I found them to be particularly helpful in managing the anxiety that comes with both planning a wedding and doing it backyard/DIY style. They knew exactly what my vision was and were able to execute it and handle any snags without having to interrupt our day. They were also great with helping me think through many of the issues I had been stuck on for throughout the planning process. It was especially nice to know that there was someone there to ask questions to when we needed it and someone there to just handle things in general without having to do it ourselves.
Overall, they exceeded our expectations, particularly with the amount of work they put into the actual day. I didn't see them stop once! They were absolutely worth the price and totally saved the day!!

Although we hired them as day-of-coordinators, Lauren and Ruthie are really wedding project managers. They were extremely organized and kept checking in to make sure the entire planning process was on schedule throughout the whole year leading up to the wedding. Since we were traveling to our own wedding from the west coast, it was extra helpful to have them as resources for local information. They had all the details covered for the rehearsal and the day-of and we really didn't have to do much more than show up. Hiring them as our coordinators was the best decision we made during our wedding planning.

This was my email sent to Ruthie and Lauren..."We want to sincerely thank you for everything you did to make our wedding day the best day ever. EVERYONE said that it was the BEST wedding they had attended. Also, the set up, colors, flowers, decorations, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING was BEAUTIFUL! It was better than I could have imagined. Everything was perfect and it was all because of you both. Living out of State, Not being from that State and planning a wedding from thousands of miles away is not easy...I don't know what I would have done without you. You all made everything look so beautiful and were so detailed in every way. You thought of everything. Also, everyone you recommended was great. Everyone raved about Sean the DJ. People kept asking about him wondering where we found him, etc... We all had a great time. Of course, it all went by way too fast....in the blink of an eye. I wish I could go back and take more of it in."

I also want to add and say that Ruthie and Lauren were so flexible with meetings. Especially with me being from out of town and only able to come up a couple of times before the wedding. They even met with me on Thanksgiving weekend which says a lot. It shows how dedicated they are to their clients and how much they truly love what they do. They were also able to coordinate meetings with different vendors on such a busy Holiday weekend.

They did an amazing job and they are an amazing team! I would without a doubt recommend them to anyone. They listen to your likes and dislikes and make your visions come to reality. Actually, mine turned out better than I thought : )

My daughter's beautiful wedding went off without a hitch largely due to Ruthie and Lauren from Eutopia Events. Initially my husband and son-in-law were against hiring wedding coordinators (we can do it!) but after our first meeting with them they realized that we needed them! Their detailed lists before the wedding brought up things we never would have thought of and their help at the rehearsal and on the wedding day kept everything running smoothly. I'm a worrier and once the wedding started I didn't worry about a thing!!! I highly recommend them!!

Hiring Eutopia Events was the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process. We weren't originally looking to hire professional wedding planners, but knew that we couldn't get by without them once we met them at a bridal exp. When I was planning my wedding and looking at reviews for Lauren and Ruthie at Eutopia Events, I couldn't believe all of their 5 star reviews. Those can't be real! But now I see that it's TRUE! Lauren and Ruthie are just perfect in every way. They give 110% percent. They make you feel so much better when the wedding is fast approaching and you don't think everything will come together. Advice that I got when planning my wedding was: "expect something to go wrong." Well, nothing went wrong. Everything ran smoothly and the guests remarked that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Lauren and Ruthie are totally trustworthy and will go beyond your expectations. And they are true professionals.

When I began my wedding planning, being the organized person I am, I thought I could do it alone. I quickly learned that I wasn’t going to survive if I didn't get help. I contacted the ladies of Eutopia Events and it's the best decision I could've made. Other than saying "I DO”!

With less than 2 weeks to go until my wedding, I learned that the tuxes ordered were not the correct ones and that it was an error on the tux vendor’s part. He called every vendor he knew only to discover the color grey was very popular this year and he was unable to get what I wanted in time. My heart dropped into my stomach. With tears in my eyes I called Eutopia. Without hesitation, they began calling every vendor in the area. A few hours later, I got a call back from Ruthie of Eutopia saying she found a small boutique that WAS able to get me the tuxes I wanted in time for my wedding! It was a miracle. Had it not been for her diligence and dedication, I would have had to "settle" for the tuxes that I didn’t want in my wedding.

As my wedding approached, it became even clearer why hiring Eutopia was a no-brainer decision. Their professionalism and confidence put me at sheer ease. I KNEW the most important day of my life was in good hands and for a bride, that feeling is priceless. My dad offered to contribute financially where he could to the wedding. However he didn't believe in wedding planners thinking they would only get in the way and be a waste of money and said if I wanted to hire one, it was my cost. On my BIG day, with Eutopia on-site helping with every last detail, I watched it all fall into place, as it should. My father confronted me with a tear in his eye and told me he was shocked at how amazing everything was and that his feelings toward wedding planners completely changed. He realized that all of this could not have been possible without them. We are very appreciative and grateful for these two ladies. They truly are one of a kind!

Lauren and Ruthie at Eutopia Events really do it all! They did our cake, flowers and wedding planning and they were both amazing to work with!
The flowers they did were gorgeous and we have gotten so many compliments on how unique they were and have given out their name a few times to future brides!
Our cake was gorgeous and everyone raved at how moist and delicious it was- most people told me how they had more than one piece!
As our wedding planners, they answered every question I had every step of the way, they talked me through it when I hit the inevitable snag in my planning, and best of all they gave me advice on how to trim my budget while still getting the look I was dreaming about!
Another great thing about Eutopia Events is that they helped me select reputable vendors for the few services they do not provide. The photographer, printer, and wedding invitation designer were all amazing and it was great to see how excited they all were to work with Lauren and Ruthie again!
Once I found out they do more than just wedding I was hooked- I can't wait to have them help me plan my next party!!

Words cannot express the value that I found in having Eutopia Events involved in my big day. I am someone who loves to plan and am very detailed, so I knew that I didn’t necessarily need a wedding planner. However, the venue I was in love with for our wedding wasn’t a typical wedding venue, it was a wine bar with an amazing patio and outdoor space, so I knew that the venue would not be hanging lanterns and putting out the aisle runner. At first I thought that it wouldn’t be a problem doing things myself, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I wanted to be calm and relaxed the day of my wedding. At first I figured hiring them for the day of would consist of a phone call or two when it gets close to the wedding, then execution the day of to make sure everything was in place. To my surprise, it was MUCH more than that. They also saved the day. 1am the morning of the wedding I received an email from the venue letting me know they broke a table and didn’t have another so I would have to change my seating chart and have 1 less table. By 8am the morning of my wedding, there was a replacement table, and it was as nothing happened. The day was perfection. It went better than I could ever imagine. Every little detail that I had pictured in my mind was executed flawlessly. I can’t thank Lauren and Ruthie enough for the work they did to make my dream wedding come true. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who is considering hiring someone to help plan their wedding, or even just help pull off the plan they have already put together, you need to reach out to Eutopia.

We hired Eutopia Events for day of coordination and we couldn't be happier with them! Ruthie and Lauren absolutely met our expectations and in some cases exceeded them. We had our ceremony on the family farm in Deerfield, MA, so we were all very involved in the planning and details. We had several meetings with Eutopia before the big day and they helped us streamline our plans and remember some important details that can be easily overlooked. Our ceremony was outside on a big open field. We had a reception tent and our ceremony was planned to be outside in the open. We like to think of it as positive thinking to not have a ceremony tent:) Just as the bride was about to walk down the aisle the skies opened up! The confusion and stress created because of the unexpected weather could have been catastrophic, but Eutopia kept their cool and stayed on task directing people to their tables under the tent. Because of their presence and hard work during our crazy day we were able to have a beautiful and memorable event. Luckily the weather cleared up after the ceremony and we were able to enjoy the outdoor space for the remainder of the day. We kept saying to each other "we couldn't have done this with out Eutopia". We highly recommend hiring a wedding coordinator because you never know what your wedding day is going to bring, and as the bride and groom you have enough to think about without stressing about the schedule of the day never mind the weather! Eutopia Events is recommended by us with the highest regard. They were very professional, and we always felt very comfortable working with them. We had a wedding to remember that wouldn't have been as great a day as it was with out all their hard work!

Comments from a Groom: As a man faced with the task of helping his future wife plan their wedding, I couldn't have felt more out of my element. The thought of picking out color patterns, flowers, dresses, etc, made me sick. However, the thought that my wife was going to stressed out on her wedding day was something I simply couldn't deal with.

Ruthie and Lauren did an excellent job helping the Bride make all of these choices, without our budget and timeline in mind - assuring the right progress was being made at the right time. This took a lot of stress out of the planning and made the task of putting together this function seem like something realistic and manageable.

However, where I was really impressed was the day-of services. When anxiety and nerves were at their highest, Lauren and Ruthie were truly professional and made us both feel like they had every aspect of the day under their control. Every wedding will experience a few bumps in the road - with Eutopia on board we knew our bumps in the road were going to be handled... The peace of mind was worth their fee by itself

If there are any Grooms out there reading this (which I doubt there are), don't make your future wife stress out when she doesn't have to - Hire Eutopia. You'll be glad you did

One word, amazing!

I had actually contacted another wedding planner in the area before I switched immediately to Eutopia Events. The first wedding planner I contacted took a week to get back to me and that was when I knew I wouldn't get along with them because I like prompt responses. When I sent Eutopia an email they literally got back to me within minutes, answered all of my questions, and had a detailed price list of my different options. The next day they phoned me to get more information about my vision and myself and I knew I had to look no further. Since I am an organized and efficient person I appreciated all that Eutopia had to offer and we couldn't have planned such a gorgeous wedding without them.

Eutopia researched vendors in the area and found exactly what we were looking for. They have a stellar reputation and they know which companies are the best to work with. There are literally hundreds of vendors in the area and there is no way we would have been able to narrow them down and receive the quality of service we got without Eutopia's help.

On the day of the wedding my husband, family, friends, and I were all completely stress free because we knew they would take care of every little detail. My mom said that she was so happy we had hired a planner because she wouldn't have been able to cope without them. My dad told me that after my mom left the house in the morning to get ready with me he was excited because the "warden" had left the building. However, he then commented that he had two new wardens arrive minutes later, Ruthie and Lauren, who made sure he and the horses were dressed and ready in time for pictures. Obviously you don't know my father, but I don't even think he would have been ready in time if both my mom and I had been there pressuring him so it was a relief that he arrived on time to pick me up in the horse and carriage.

You will not be disappointed if you hire them. I wouldn't waste your time looking for another planner because I know they are the best in the area because I got in touch with several who were not responsive before I found Eutopia and had to look no further.

Ruthie helped my Matron of Honor with all of the fine details for our engagement party. We had a snowflake theme with the colors red and white for the engagement party and wedding. She made our invitations for the party on very short notice and they were exactly what I wanted. We received a lot of compliments on them!

Ruthie did all of the table arrangements at the engagement party. The tables looked very elegant but simple! She even made a menu for each place setting!

Finally, I have a dairy allergy and Ruthie made a delicious dairy free snowflake cake, so I could have cake at the engagement party! I absolutely loved it!

I would highly recommend Ruthie to other brides! Her attention to detail and creativity makes her great at her job!

Eutopia Events created invitations and response cards that we could not find anywhere else, within a very short time line. They were flexible, willing to work within our budget, and made changes to the invitations to be sure we were fully satisfied. In addition to our invitations, Eutopia Events created place cards and table numbers. They were beautiful and matched the color scheme of our wedding.

We utilized Eutopia Events for our Wedding on 11/5/10 in Springfield, MA. At first, it was about the planning process but due to the amazing talents of Lauren and Ruthie, we had them do much more. Our wedding was black, white, and red with a damask theme. Using this, Eutopia events created our favors- homemade sugar cookies with a black and white damask pattern on them. They were amazing and delicious! They also did all our bouquets and boutonnieres. My flowers were 35 hand tied red roses; our bridesmaids carried white roses with white gerbera daisies. They were beautiful and fit the simple yet elegant look that we wanted. They also had the great idea of having a black, white, and red candy buffet in apothecary jars. It was an inexpensive, personal touch that all our guests loved! They created our invitations, our guestbook, and photo tree as well. Eutopia Events was also able to take our very simple church and turn it into a gorgeous wedding venue- even the Pastor was amazed at how beautiful his church looked! Lauren and Ruthie were able to take my few thoughts about the vision and turn our wedding into an elegant, timeless evening. Their attention to detail was amazing! If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have gotten through it- their expertise allowed us to have a fun, stress-free wedding that we will never forget! I highly recommend them for all your wedding needs! Seems best to start my comments on services we enlisted from Eutopia Events, with the letter we sent them a few days after the Wedding which will be followed by random thoughts.

Dear Ruthie
Dear Lauren-

Over the last few days we have been sharing brunch, recycling lots, doing laundry and savoring the moments of one of the biggest events in the lifetime of a parent-------

Moments that include seeing the hydrangea in the old watering cans on the columns afront the buffet tent, potted Russian Sage atop a small red metal table over the tent stake ---as a lovely warning, the signs we didn't get to but you did, the ribbon across the stairs to the barn loft, the colorful cloths enhancing predictable white table-coverings, the fire-truck in the food tent........The list goes on and on at the hand of Lauren and Ruthie....Eutopia Events at it's finest.

David would not have tasted the food had it not been for the plate you presented him with and I'd still be running around prepping, camera round my neck, if you had not insisted I go inside, leave it to you two and enjoy the day with my daughter. I did, finally, knowing you knew our vision and had made it your own.

The lighting and lanterns magically swaying in the light breeze, the Tiki lights bordering the fields edge, the sky filled with stars--------as we all felt like stars because we had you at our backs----tucking, tweaking, placing. lighting and overseeing, with our taste and your great eyes for detail in-sinc.

After all the guests had left----I walked out of the tent to stroll down the road to experience what others had seen....I literally was stopped in my tracts.
It was no less than awe inspiring......your placement of the luminaries was the cherry on top of an incredible evening, a "goodbye and thanks so much for coming to share" visual.
The volume of magical dotted light that transformed the blackness of the new moon into a galaxy of delight was unreal and truly breath-taking.

Your creation of a path over the grass in front of the house was absolutely brilliant--------pun intended!
A way of directing guests to a easier way to exit and so exquisite to see.
The luminosity, quantity and design was spectacular and "you" alone, placed and lit them all------and if it wasn't "you" alone, it was you two orchestrating
the gremlins who did.......and we never knew it was happening.

Ruthie and Lauren----I could go on for pages, from the moment we first chatted in the screen porch, through the hugs on the dance floor when you joined us 'cause you
knew we wanted you to, Eutopia Events was so much more than we could have ever imagine it would be.

Two very fine, very talented organized visionaries, with a 14 foot ladder, who we have had the pleasure of knowing and working with.

PS--As a Commercial Photographic Stylist/Set designer/Producer I thought I could do it all myself, but couldn't have done it all without you two.
Your "Day of Wedding" Coordination was essential given we were using our own venue. You were indispensable at the end..........and I can only imagine
how valuable it must be to have you all the way through.

So that's our letter, here are some other random thoughts:

--Though we knew exactly what we wanted--a friend who had
a home wedding suggested we get some day of wedding managerial assistance.
We hired Eutopia Events as "DAY OF" Wedding Planners.
Trust me, I did my homework,chcked out several--and decided Eutopia Events was right for us.
(They don't let their ego get in the way-----which can't be said for all)
--Ruthie and Lauren were great communicators, both through email and phone with quick replies.
--They were very flexible--and put our scheduling needs before their own
--The "DAY OF" in their vocabulary was far from "DAY OF". It involved, meetings and other
communications so they could learn who we were, and what our vision was. And we could learn who they were and how they could help.
--They reviewed our timeline and tweaked it to make the day flow better--touched base with our vendors, asked all the right questions to helped us organize in so many way.
--They will customize to your needs. We had a vision for lighting and hanging lanterns----we had all the supplies ----and they helped with design and implementation-----.....AND they were up atop of a 14 foot ladder working with us until the lighting and lanterns were right.
---They orchestrated the rehearsal since our Officiant was a first timer.
---On the day of the wedding they coordinated the vendors, were our hands and eyes in placing props and table decor, pitched in everywhere even with the caterer.

---They were at the wedding til there was nothing left for them to do.
---They were the "go to" people which freed us up to enjoy the day----and we did.
---You will never regret hiring them.
---Good luck with all the planning-----

Eutopia Events has seen me through some of the best parts of my life. They created the most gorgeous invitations for my wedding. People still talk about them, and others even asked where I got them made so they could use them also. They have made invitations for my childrens birthday parties and even the cakes as well! Their creativity blows my mind with everything they do. I cant say anything but high praises for this company! They are extremely proffessional, and always exceed my expectations. I will be using Eutopia Events for all of my special occasions from here on in, and would highly reccommend them to anyone for anything they may possibly need!

I feel so lucky to have discovered Eutopia Events literally right down the road from my childhood home, and the place where I held my wedding in late July 2010. From my very first conversation with Lauren and Ruthie, I felt confident that their energy, attention to detail, and seamless collaboration would be a huge asset to my wedding day. I was not mistaken. Throughout the planning process, they worked with me to ensure that every detail of my wedding weekend was covered. From ceremony programs to guest gift bags, Eutopia ensured there was a clear plan and that all of the resources we needed were on board.

The wedding itself could not have gone smoother. It was a dream day for not only me and my husband, but also my sister and my mother, who were used to answering questions and putting out fires at previous events. Instead, they were able to relax and enjoy the day while Eutopia managed the entire event moment to moment behind the scenes. Lauren and Ruthie did an amazing job and we truly bonded during the planning process. It was obvious that they cared about our day almost as much as we did!

They handled a few unexpected guests (uninvited children who tagged along with their parents), a minor music snafu (my i-pod died and the band's needed to be used). They took care of any decisions that needed to be made and ensured the event stayed on schedule and had momentum throughout.

So many friends have commented on our "perfect" and "beautiful" wedding and even remarked it was the best wedding they have ever attended (my sister who was married in the same spot 2 years prior remarked that it was not only the best wedding, but the best PARTY she had ever been to). Most importantly, my husband and I had a wonderful, worry-free wedding day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. This truly would not have been possible without the expertise and commitment of Ruthie and Lauren.

I wholeheartedly recommend Eutopia Events without hesitation! My only regret is not getting one of their beautiful wedding cakes, but there are always birthdays to celebrate!

The only thing I would have wished for, was that food was brought to me while I was making rounds to say hello to people during cocktail hour. However, that was a VERY small thing and everything else was AMAZING!!!! Could not have asked for two better to people!!!!!!

Ruthie and Lauren were fantastic. They executed our vision to perfection. I would trust them to do wedding but as well as any other special events. Their vendors were great to work with and easy to collaborate. Eutopia is one of the vendors we've worked with. If you are thinking about doing your wedding yourself..DON'T!!!! Call Eutopia

These ladies are fabulous. We had them at our wedding in October 2012 and they were worth every penny. We had our ceremony at a church and reception at a country club. The CC had a venue coordinator/manager who was great but there was so much more that needed coordinating and "taking care of" beyond the 5 hour rental at the CC. I am an extremely organized (type A) person and even I found Eutopia brought so much clarity (and comfort!) to our wedding planning and day. Before we met with the ladies the first time I was sure I had thought of pretty much everything... SO not the case! Having them allowed me to relax the day-of so much more than I would have been able to otherwise. They were with us for most of the day but left a couple hours before our reception ended - my advice to anyone would be to pay the extra and have them stay until the end of your event (or arrive later so they are with you until the end.) Our reception venue ended up throwing away the top tier of our wedding cake (and a few other items were misplaced/never found) and I'm sure it wouldn't have happened like that if they were there to stay on top of those things! I would recommend Eutopia to anyone - it made a really big difference for us (me, my husband and our parents) having them be part of our planning and day :)

Eutopia Events completely surpassed my expectations! everything was absolutely perfect. Leading up to the event they were extremely helpful. They called all of my vendors the week before the wedding. This is usually crunch time for most brides and i didn't have to do any of it. I got to pamper myself, and send the time with family and friends.

The day of the event I almost didn't even realize they were there. However, come to find out there were multiple "emergencies" that they handled without my knowledge. There was an issue with the toilets not working that they resolved before any of the guests arrived. There was also an issue with another event taking place at the site of the wedding on the same day. Because of EE I didn't have to deal with any of these issues. More importantly, my mother didn't have to worries about these issues either. we were both able to just enjoy the day to the fullest.

I honestly believe that both Lauren and Ruthie are worth their weight in gold. Not only did they make my wedding a true success and the "perfect day," but they were a pleasure to work with.
