We used European Cake Gallery for our wedding cake at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. As an on-site vendor approved by the park, they handled all the logistics seamlessly. They also take Venmo, etc. I think they schlepped the cake across the entire Safari park! THANK YOU!
The cake was stunning. We had the white bavarian sheet cake and my dream heart cake and swiss chocolate sheet cakes, and every guest raved about it — moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. We also stole leftover cake for the next day (it was that good). It held up beautifully in the outdoor setting and looked incredible on the cake table. Several guests told us it was the best wedding cake they had ever had, but as the bride it was the best I ever had!
If you're a San Diego couple searching for a wedding cake baker, especially for venues like the Safari Park, Balboa Park, or anywhere in OB or the greater San Diego area — European Cake Gallery is worth it. Highly recommend for any wedding cake, anniversary cake, or custom celebration cake in San Diego.
Thank you to the team handling the last-minute request for our cake! They removed so much stress as a vendor. Their prices are much more competitive than others as well!

Three Tier Wedding Cake
We wanted a cake that wasn’t too sweet and was memorable to our guests, this is exactly what we wanted! It turned out delicious and beautiful, definitely recommend!!! -

Our previous baker backed out last minute and I'm so thankful for Linda at European Cake Gallery who helped us out! Planning an event from a different state is a level of stress that is not enjoyable at all. Linda, was kind and receptive to what we were looking for. It's a risk when you haven't met the people making your cake or even tasting it prior but everyone who had a piece of the cake, loved it!!! I would definitely seek them out again in the future. -

European Cake Gallery has been so awesome when I first inquired a cake with them. They give you an opportunity to do a cake flavor testing box to bring home. It was yummy to do w/ my now husband. The White Bavarian Raspberry cake was theeee best! I also love their Swiss Black Forest. Highly recommend for birthday parties, weddings or any event that needs a bomb cake! -

We wanted to have our wedding cake from European Cake Gallery because it tastes amazingly-heavenly delicious. Each cake they bake is made with love. I wanted simple but classy.. and that is what i got. Our cake was perfect.
Their service was excellent.
I definitely suggest European Cake Gallery for any events. They go above and beyond!! -

European Cake Gallery is one of those places where you know that you will be treated to the best pastries in town - they are truly customer service oriented - knowledgeable and creative also. Recently married and they provided us with our wedding cake - we are still getting compliments from our guests. Don’t hesitate to try them, they will not disappoint - iconic in Point Loma. -

Beautiful and delicious wedding cake
Very happy and would highly recommend European Cake Gallery for your wedding cake or any other special occasion! The flavors are so good it's hard to pick just one. We went with the Bavarian with extra lemon added, so delicious and perfectly light for our summer wedding! The cake was beautiful with 3 tiers and we opted in for white chocolate shavings on the outside. The prices are very reasonable compared to other bakeries I inquired with. So very happy with our cake and the guests all loved it too! -

We ordered a wedding cake for 110 people, even though we had a guest count of 200. We made this decision due to the wasteland of uneaten cake plates on tables at every wedding we've been to! Except, this cake was so amazing it was gone in a matter of minutes.. every crumb devoured!! We ordered the Swiss Black Forrest with white chocolate shavings. I meant to decorate it on the day with flowers but forgot with everything else going on.. I ordered a nice stand and it still looked great as is. Definitely recommend! -

This cake is MAGIC! And it's super well priced. I cannot say enough good things. They don't have the wild flavors you'll find at some other cake shops. But what they do make, they do to perfection. We have a standing reservation for a little cake every year on our anniversary for the rest of our lives. I committed to my husband on my wedding day, and we both committed to enjoying the cakes of European Cake Gallery forever and ever. -

We ordered a 4 tier cake ith two flavors, White Bavarian Raspberry and Chocolate Black Forrest. I ordered extra cake and people ate two or three pieces until it was gone! The best tasting cake I've ever had! It was absolutely beautiful as well! I gave them an idea and they sketched it out exactly as I wanted and at no extra charge! Service, quality, and professionalism among many other things are their strong suits. I will continue to be a loyal patron and definitely recommend their services. -

The cake was moist and so delicious! I met with Steve, the owner. He was friendly, down to earth, and professional. He had angel cookies and I wanted to buy just a few to taste them. I was considering buying them as favors. Because they were in a bag, he graciously gave me a complementary bag for me to try out! I highly recommend European Cake Gallery for not only their amazing cakes but also for their pastries! You can't beat their prices and taste... Love them!!

I highly recommend them if you are looking for a beautiful wedding cake with no fondant which I don't like.. My cake was beautifully done and still tastes amazing... -

Kristyn Sent on 11/12/2012First things first, they know how to make a cake! Our guests were raving about it all night long, and literally ate the whole thing (minus the top layer, which we saved). We got their famous Swiss Black Forest, White Bavarian, and German Chocolate, and they are all to die for! The prices are very very inexpensive as well.
My only gripe was the ordering/tasting. We went to the shop two months before our wedding to do some tasting and make sure we liked what they had to offer. We were only ordering for about 65 people, and when we told the girl at the counter when our wedding was, she blew us off because she said it was not enough time, and they can't "guarantee we will get what we want". I showed her the line from their website that said: "You can place your order as soon as you like; 3 – 4 weeks gives us plenty of time.", which shut her up. After that, everything went smoothly, and we were happy with the service from them. -

European cake gallery is a classic san diego staple. The minute we decided we were getting married.We decided we were getting a european cake gallery cake! You cannot beat the price or the quality. So happy to use them for their services. Although they do not do florals for the cake, they allowed us to rent a cake stand which was super helpful to make this a focal feature of our wedding! -
