Best-ever testing bakery I know in all of OHIO (at least). I knew them because I worked at a wedding venue which many of our happy couples hired them for their dessert needs and we got some leftovers at each wedding. Best-tasting. Best service. Helpful staff. We know the owners distantly & Mrs. Esterson is such a sweet treat. We love them dearly. Our cakes turned out perfect & about ran out... everyone loved it so much, just as much as us. Luckily, our cutting cake that had face-planted (after we cut it thank goodness) that was our anniversary cake, we didn't need to or intended on keeping BECAUSE Eston's offers a FREE 1-year/FIRST ANNIVERSARY CAKE!
So we look very forward to that. They didn't do the pearls I included in the pictures BUT they made the cake beautifully, and even if they don't offer all that, you can do ANYTHING to make your cake YOUR OWN!

Must Have for Toledo Wedding!
We had the best desserts for our wedding from Eston’s! We had a small, 1-tier, lemon berry cake that was to die for! And then we ordered a bunch of mini cheesecakes and cupcakes for our guests. All the flavors were delicious- key lime, chocolate, buckeye, apple, red velvet, and cookies and cream. We had compliments left and right from everyone! If you need cake or desserts, this is where to go!

We loved eston's!
Eston's was a great choice for our wedding cake. They were extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process and made things very easy. We along with our guests absolutely loved our wedding cake. We choose strawberries and cream and triple chocolate for our flavors and we were so impressed by everything. 10/10 Recommend this bakery!

Their cakes are delicious. We had a tough time choosing flavors because they are all so good! Our guests actually ate the cake and went back for seconds! The Eston's crew was so flexible and easy to work with, even when we had to change our plans in 2020. They also worked well with all of our other vendors. Our cake was gorgeous and delicious for our June 2021 wedding! The only complaint is the taste testing portions were small. But we loved so many flavors and had a hard time narrowing it down to our favorites. We did 2 flavors for a 200 person cake. Communication was great with Eston’s and our cake was delivered the day of with no issues. The were sure to communicated with the florist on what their plan was and what topper we were using.
I loved the idea of having a “show” cake that you cut and the rest being “kitchen” cakes for the guests.
One of the most impressive things is you get a free top tier cake on your 1 year anniversary!! We are already excited for that!

Our cake from Eston’s was DELICIOUS!!! My husband is not a huge cake person, so he was really opinionated in having a cake that he actually wanted to eat. The Lemon Berry cake from Eston’s was the winner and he loved it! We also had the chocolate supreme flavor and both were so moist and delicious and everyone at the wedding was raving about how good it was! Eston’s is also super affordable compared to other places but they do not skimp on quality at all! We have gone back a few times to buy individual cakes in our wedding flavors because they are THAT good. You won’t be disappointed with a cake from Eston’s!

AH-Mazing!
Tony and Janeen were extremely nice people and wonderful to work with. All of Eston's cake flavors are delicious, but we ended up selecting Lemon Berry and Almond Zebra. With guest numbers dwindling even to the day before the wedding we had well over 40 more servings than guests - yet we only had 5 slices left over to enjoy ourselves. Eston's is absolutely worth it from the customer service, the flavors, to even the decorating. We still have people commenting on how delicious our cake was! We were down to two cake vendors but ultimately chose Eston’s! Not the most elaborate decorated compared to other vendors (still beautiful looking, especially once we added extra touches with a topper and flowers) but the taste is so delicious! It was tough to pick between the flavors but ultimately chose the white chocolate, almond zebra (originally didn’t have that as a contender until we tasted it), and the key lime! All so yummy! We can’t wait for the free anniversary cake next year!

The perfect wedding cake!

We ordered our wedding cake from Eston's and it was top notch. We got so many compliments on the deliciousness that was Eston's cakes. We had vanilla, chocolate, and key lime. The key lime was by far superior and everyone loved it. They gave me a plain 3 tiered cake that I was able to put fresh flowers on and it was beautiful. Definitely will order from here again!

The staff at Eston's were helpful and knowledgeable, which is great. But let's be honest, how many times do you hear people say 'the cake was beautiful at a wedding, but didn't taste that great'? Well, at Eston's not only will your wedding cake be gorgeous, but your guests will go back for seconds, if there is any left! We had one kitchen cake left over, which made us happy to enjoy more at home! The flavor options are wonderful and makes choosing between them difficult! Although we will receive a complimentary small cake for our one year anniversary, I know I will be back sooner to enjoy their dessert creations this summer! Everyone always says that Eston's is the best; after eating their cake, I can certainly agree! The cake has great flavor and is the perfect amount of sweetness; it is not the type of cake that will make you feel sick to your stomach from too much sugar after eating it. They used fresh fruit in our selections and it just tasted SO. GOOD. My only peeve ultimately comes from not reading our contract closely enough (so read, read, and read again)... We paid for delivery of the cakes to our wedding site, and I thought that included set up of the cakes. The stands were out and ready to go, so I assumed they would unbox the cakes, set them on the stands, and then leave. They only delivered the cakes in their boxes and then my mom, a few cousins, and our florist actually unboxed and placed the cakes where they needed to go. At first my mom was very upset, so I quickly retrieved the contract, and sure enough it did state that unless they were providing the stands, there was no set up with delivery. That was completely my bad and is why I am not taking away any stars from this review. I more so just wanted to make people aware that it helps to read everything you're signing AND understand it :) By far Eston's was the most affordable baker we had found that could provide us with enough cake to feed a small army! Thank you, we can't wait to get our anniversary cake!

What can I say about ESTON'S? A few words come to mind. Words such as WOW, INCREDIBLE, EXTRAORDINARY and DELICIOUS are just a few. Not only did Eston's provide for us our wedding cake, but creating an unbelievable dessert/coffee bar for our guests. Being from NY originally, we had some pretty high standards on what we wanted from a visual perspective as well as from a taste perspective. Tony, Janeen and the entire staff went so far above and beyond in every aspect of our desserts. We had guests from all over the country and all we heard was how they had never tasted anything so delicious. The cake was light and tasty. The finger desserts were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Tony was amazing to work with. From the first time we met at our initial consultation until the last desert was perfectly placed, Tony was a true professional who guided our wedding journey to success. Originally a cake was not high on the priority list, we had actually thought of doing sheet cakes instead of something large and multi-tiered, with a small cake for us to cut. I had heard Eston's was expensive and wasn't sure what to expect before my consultation - I'm so glad I did not listen to anyone regarding the costs and get scared off... The tasting went great, costs were less than expected and we booked that same day. Their kitchen cakes were the perfect solution instead of sheet cakes. They worked with us when we realized that our initial guest estimate was a bit too high and also when we decided we wanted chocolate frosting on the chocolate kitchen cakes. We went with two varieties and got nothing but compliments on how good the cake was. We have guests that are still talking about how good the cake was - and its now a few weeks after our reception!

The pricing for our cake was very easy to swallow. :) We had gone to many places and the prices were out of control. Not only was the price great here, the cake was awesome. Our guest could not get enough of it. My new mother in law wanted more so we gave her the top of our cake. Why? Because there was no need to freeze it for the anniversary. Eston's will give you a coupon for a free cake on your first anniversary.

The people that work there are very friendly, the order was accurate and ready on time, and we got a lot of good feedback from guests about the cake. We ordered a mix of chocolate, tiramisu, and key lime.

We tried several wedding cakes before we knew Easton's was the one! They were great to work with and the cake was delicious! One awesome part is the coupons they give you- you save on a cake for your shower, rehearsal dinner, and get a cake on your one year anniversary do you don't have to freeze it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - I shopped around quite a bit for Cake venues and ended at Estons. The prices are very reasonable and the cake is delicious. I had a few last minute changes during the week of our wedding and Estons was more than accommodating. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and tasted amazing! Everything was perfect from beginning to end when it came to the cake! From the beginning we got to try all amazing 7 flavors of cake for free, and decided on our 2 favorites flavors. First off, I'd like to note that my husband HATES white chocolate and they have a flavor called white chocolate silk which before trying it he knew he was going to hate it. Well, he fell in love with it and had to have it! The cake was so moist and flavorful! Everyone loved the flavors and loved how moist it was. They were very friendly and worked great with us!

Not Eston's -people went back for seconds and even a friend of the brides, who wears a size zero had three pieces of cake that night!! A big hit!

To us it was all about the cake itself, not the decorations. Eston's delivered a beautiful, simple, classy confection. We had two flavors featrured, Almond Zebra and Chocolate-Covered Strawberry. The cake was moist and delicious, not overly sugary or heavy. It was extraordinary. We will definitely use Eston's for future celebrations!

After checking out 3 other places, this was a no brainer. Since selecting Eston's for our wedding cake, we have gotten other cakes from there for other occassions. It is absoutely the best cake ever!! Every other bakery fails in comparison. We ordered 60 extra slices for a wedding of a 100 people..there was none left over.

This cake was one of the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Go to a free cake tasting and you'll know what I mean. The cost was also very reasonable. Their cakes are not as fancy as some places, but we did the option where we had the florist add flowers to the cake and I think it turned out perfect. We were very happy with our cake.

Our venue includes in their package Estons. We were very pleased. We chose to have wedding cake and Cheesecake for our dessert. Both were simply delicious!
Estons has a wide varitey of flavors. We had a hard tme choosing. Eventually we decided on 3 flavors of cheesecake and the Rasberry black forest wedding cake.
We got compliments galore and we VERY satisfied.
We highly recommend Estons for any occasion!

Absoltuely terrific!! My wedding was very last minute and they were wonderful. My mother went in with a verbal idea of what I was looking for because I was in Massachusetts. I actually never saw my cake until my wedding day and I was so happy. They didn't try to talk my mom into a bigger and more expensive cake, they made what we wanted and it tasted DELICIOUS!!!

My husband and I got our wedding cake from estons. From the very start the staff was professional and very accommodating. The first meeting was very personal and they look their time with us to make sure we were happy. Throughout the rest of the time planning went smoothly. They call to confirm everything a few weeks before the event which to nice to be reassured that everything is right. Very very happy :)

I waited too long to start looking for cake vendors but happily Eston's was able to make it! There were too booked for delivery, but we had no trouble picking it up. The cake tasting was fun and gave us a good idea of what to expect. We loved that it was made from real ingredients and was not full of artificial flavoring and dyes. It was delicious! We're looking forward to our anniversary cake!

We used Eston’s for our June 16, 2018 wedding and we are thrilled with it! We did a small cake for my husband and i and then mini cupcakes for the wedding guests. My grandmother was wondering why i didn’t use a family friend, but when she tasted these cakes she herself even said they were so good! We did our taste test and wedding consult and chose our flavors and designs. The only thing i would say is that they do not do fondont or colored icings. I had wanted a blue cake but they focus more on flavor than anything so i was ok with that and just added some blue flowers to it later. They also gave us coupons for several things like bridal shower, grooms cake, and a free cake on our first anniversary. Once the wedding was closer they actually reached out to me several times to make sure we had all the details nailed down. The staff is great. The service is great and the cakes are divine. 100% recommend.

Eston's has the best cake you can imagine! We had a wedding of 90 guests but ordered a 4 tiered cake that feeds 150 because I liked the look of a larger cake. Everyone LOVED the cake.. we only had about 10 slices left over! We chose a different flavor for each tier: white chocolate silk, chocolate supreme, almond zebra, and strawberries-n-creme. I love that we did not need to freeze the top tier (gross) because they provide you with a fresh cake on your first wedding anniversary. They also have frequency cards so all of the times I stop in to get the small versions of our wedding cake flavors earn me free ones! They only do buttercream icing, which is definitely the way to go. I originally wanted fondant because you can do more design-wise. Eston's isn't very flexible when it comes to design but they did work with me on getting as close to the design I wanted as possible. I absolutely loved the look of my cake and of course the taste! I would recommend Eston's to anyone needing cake or desserts!

Favorite cake! So many delicious flavors, it was really hard to choose which one. I also like that they give you a certificate for a free anniversary cake instead of you having to save the top layer. Unfortunately we live out of town and haven't been able to use it! Friendly staff, fun tasting, nice decoration options.

Eston's did a very nice job on our cake. The cake itself was delicious. The appearance was exactly as we had planned, however I felt they could have used a better portfolio for decorating options. I did like the way it turned out, I just felt that the choices available were pretty narrow. Additionally, we had an outdoor wedding and they will not deliver their cakes outdoors due to the moose that is used as filling. We were able to get around this by having the cake delivered to an inside location nearby and having the caterer bring out the cake at the right time.

Eston's does not offer cake - "it offers dessert!" Eston's cakes are actually 7-layer tortes. With the variety of flavors, I'm convinced nothing in town tastes better. Not to mention, the tortes offer incredible value. You can have several layers of your cake decorated for display, and the rest of the tortes can be kept in the kitchen for serving at a very reasonable price.

I've always loved Eston's cake, so I had to have them for my wedding cake. The cake designs are limited, but I was more concerned with the quality and taste and they didn't let me down! I would highly recommend unless you are wanting a fancy cake design.

Eston's has the most delicious cakes in NW Ohio! They offer many flavors (each one is amazing!) and they have simple, elegant designs for wedding cakes. I was extremely pleased with the way our cake turned out -- and I got so many compliments from our guests about how yummy it was!

The cake was delicious and just beautiful. I ordered mini cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner and they were adorable. Very delicious. My only suggestion for Easton's is to have more mature people working at the counter of their store. I was in the store several times and each time I felt like they could have been friendlier. The young girls seem more interested in talking than waiting on customers. This would not keep me from ordering again since the cakes are sooo delicious and beautifully decorated. I also felt rushed during the tasting.

The cakes at Eston's are AMAZING. Most wedding cakes are, well, wedding cakes. Good but not great...and totally overpriced. Eston's is completely delicious. The guests were raving, and I'm psyched that part of the deal is getting a 1-year anniversary cake for free (instead of trying to freeze the top layer, which could be disastrous). There didn't seem to be a ton of options with decorating the cake, but who wants to eat through 3 inches of colored (mouth-dyeing) frosting of some clever design? I wanted fresh flowers on my cake, anyway. THeir newest design (they have about 5? that they typically do) is a leaf design which was beautiful and exactly what I wanted anyway.
They worked with us through everything and are so great! Tony, the owner, is a God-send to the Toledo area. Delicious cake, great service!

So many different flavors! But I highly recommend the Lemon Berry and White Chocolate. Very flexible with flavors and design if you want something outside of their standard wedding cake options. My husband hates cake but I couldn't get him away from the leftovers!

Delicious cakes! They have a nice cake tasting for free where you can taste small bites of all the flavors - much nicer than having to purchase a bunch of small cakes. They were also surprisingly affordable thanks to their use of kitchen cakes - undecorated smaller cakes that are cut in the back instead of on display for everyone to see. It's better than sheet cake, for sure!

Estons cakes were included in my wedding package through the Hilton Garden Inn. There cake tastes AMAZING. We had tiramisu and white chocolate silk for our flavors and had so many compliments on how great our cake tasted. If you are wanting something extravagant for your cake, the designs are limited. I wanted something simple and just had my florist add flowers to the cake to make it more elegant so it worked fine for me. My husband seemed to think our cake was lopsided or uneven but I did not notice it so that did not bother me. We were limited with how much money we could use towards our cake through our package and went over in price because I wanted a square three tier cake which was VERY pricey. So if you are paying for the cake, definitely go with sheet cakes but definitely worth having the best cake in town.

Okay, first things first, this may very easily be the best cake in the world. What makes this cake so great is that it is multi-layered with whatever filling you choose, so it is incredibly moist and delicious. Also, Eston's is very economical and will really help advise you on how best to keep your cost down. Here's the downfall....they are very limited on cake design. Initially, when I was signing their contract, I was under the impression that if I wanted a specific design that it may cost more or may need more planning time, but when I went in for my final consultation, I was given the option between a handful of final looks and that was it. Fortunately they were all very simple and elegant, and it turned out to be fine with me, but if your heart is set on something specific or ornate, then this is not the place for you.

I did my research in order to find the best cake for the money. Eston's DEFINITELY was just that. Their main philosophy is that wedding cake is not just cake; it's dessert. Therefore, their "cakes" are all 7-layer tortes with all the gourmet fillings included in the price. My favorite flavors: Almond Zebra and Raspberry Forest. They also delivered the cake an hour away from their bakery - a plus for us. Refund of the deposit for the cake stand was sent promptly after the wedding. Nothing but a positive experience here, and a place to which I would refer a million times over!

Our consultation at Eston's and the overall customer service was great. We sampled their amazing wedding cake and easily exchanged phone calls and emails regarding the details of the cake. The reason I am giving them 3.8 stars is because after all of the work put into the cake design, the bottom layer of our cake was the wrong color. I asked for blush (emailed them a paint swatch from Sherwin Williams) and it ended up being a bright pink/coral color. Everything else was wonderful (delivery, etc), but I was unhappy with the color of the cake.

Eston's makes DELICIOUS cakes... in fact, their motto is, "It's not cake... it's desert!" It was definitely a taste to remember... However, they were a bit expensive for the size of the cake. What we pictured was much larger than what was delivered. We also brought in colored ribbon to go around the bottom of the cake. The ribbon we gave them matched our bridesmaids dresses perfectly, but when it was put on the cake, it turned a much darker shade. They never told us this would happen. Not too big of a deal, just not what we had hoped for. They were an "ok" vendor.
