If I could've given 1000 stars I would. Esther is a one of a kind photographer. Her work speaks for herself but what sets her a part from everyone else, is that she treats you like you are her family. She is the biggest hype woman ever! She will make you feel like royalty with every photo she snaps. She is so meticulous, structured and has an eye to get the greatest shots! She isn't afraid to get on the floor, roll around in dirt, ask bystanders to move, do whatever it takes so she ensures you get the greatest pictures. GOAT Savannah Photographer
Esther is the GOAT Savannah photographer. We did an engagement shoot with her in summer 2022 and then our wedding in March '23. My husband is not very comfortable having his picture taken and generally loathes the idea of a photo shoot, but Esther is the first photographer who actually makes him feel comfortable and gets him to smile naturally. She also somehow, magically, got my dog Leo to pose perfectly for all of our wedding portraits-- something he definitely doesn't do at home. When I saw our wedding preview photos I actually gasped at how stunning they were and I asked, "Did we really look that good?!" Esther elevated the entire experience and captured our day more beautifully than I could have imagined. I truly feel these are magazine-worthy photos. We will definitely use Esther again in the future.

Shhh... don't tell our other vendors, but Esther was BY FAR our favorite. She was organized, experienced, patient and kind, and worked incredibly well with the other vendors. Esther went out of her way to make sure that my wedding day as the bride went as smoothly as possible, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day. And by the way, her photos were a dream - exactly what we had hoped for our big day. Half of them are going on the walls of our house and the rest are being sent as gifts to family for upcoming holidays. Anyway -- you'd be crazy not to book her right this second!

I was sooo picky when it came to selecting a photographer for my wedding. I scoured Charleston’s extensive network of photographers but no one really stood out to me. Then by some miracle, I stumbled upon Esther based out of Savannah and I just knew right away that she was the one! Not only did the photos on her website blow me away but reading through her bio, she just seemed so down to earth! I cannot even express how glad I am that we booked Esther! Ladies, look no further for a wedding photographer! Your search stops here! I can guarantee you will not find anyone as wonderful or talented as Esther! Esther truly went above and beyond her call of duty as a photographer. Our wedding venue told us 4 months before our wedding date that they would not be able to accommodate as many guests as they had originally promised us (we had already invited the max amount of guests). Esther swooped in and saved the day. She immediately began reaching out to her contacts in Savannah regarding who had availability and could accommodate that many guests on our date! A Magical Experience and Fairytale-like Photos
I booked Esther Griffin as my wedding photographer, and even before I met her, my other vendors I spoke to sung her praises. She is well known in the industry as being a true professional. My florist called her "Mary Poppins" and said she'd get everything done efficiently and perfectly, and that is absolutely what she did. Not only is Esther the best photographer on the planet (the photos she took are so breathtaking) but she is so kind, and made all the other aspects of my day fun and perfect. I'm pretty sure Esther could also be a wedding planner and a tour guide of Savannah if she had the time!
Esther will take you to all the best photography spots in the city with punctuality, cheeriness, and professionalism. And then when you receive your photos (she'll get them to you lightning fast!) your breath will be taken away. She will help you with your dress, she'll wrangle your family together to get photos, and she will do it with a smile!

Esther is an absolute GEM! She gives great direction, is very efficient, and the end product is so beautiful and catered to you. She is so sweet and easy to work with. The pricing is very fair, especially for something so important that will last forever and you’ll always have to look back at. We did an engagement mini session before the wedding which helped us get to know each other and I think it helped make the wedding day smooth and personal. My husband and I loved how she coached us through photos and gives feedback as you go (he doesn’t love being in front of the camera and our end products are magazine worthy tbh) our family and bridal party portraits after the ceremony were quick and my whole family absolutely loved her.
I would recommend Esther to anyone getting married!! I actually asked my husband if we can have another wedding so we can hire her again lol

Leah and Taylor Wedding
This review is coming from someone who does not typically write them. Esther delivered such a positive experience that I was compelled to do so. Long-story-short: if you are looking for a photographer in the Savannah area, choose Esther.
My wife and I began planning our December 2020 wedding the previous May. We do not live near Savannah and decided to choose our photographer based upon online reviews. We found Esther and are so thankful we did.
Other than saying that her photography skills are masterful, I will let the photos speak for themselves. Esther is much, much more than a photographer.
She takes the time and places emphasis on getting to know you as a couple and stays involved in nearly every aspect of your wedding. Additionally, she provides excellent recommendations for other vendors in the Savannah area.
We first met Esther in person during our engagement photo shoot. We travelled from out of town, and Esther worked with our schedule to accommodate the most convenient day. She does her very best to account for aspects outside of her control (weather for example) and chooses the right time of day to get the best shots. She took the photos on June 11, and we were able to view them on June 19.
About a month and a half before our wedding day, she sent us a questionnaire to help her plan family photos and share images of the wedding with the rest of the wedding vendor team.
A week before our wedding, Esther sent a final timeline and list of family photos. She was available to answer questions and make any adjustments. She provided a list of items to bring so that they can be captured: dress, veil, shoes, jewelry, engagement ring, wedding bands, invitation suite, bouquets, and boutonnières.
My wife and I spoke with Esther a few days before our wedding for a final run-through. She offered, at no charge, a wedding portrait shoot with us, the wedding party, and our families on another day if the weather did not permit an outdoor photo shoot.
Esther and our videographer coordinated with each other along the way, and they worked together seamlessly.
As mentioned above, Esther is more than a photographer. On the wedding day, she was with us for over 10 hours. She arrived at the bride’s house around 11am and captured the entire process. Next, she captured the first look with the father before the first look with me. She was there for the pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception, and walk-out.
Esther, thank you for everything. You delivered on your promise to tell our authentic story and surpassed all of our expectations!

Wedding Photos That Will Take Your Breath Away!
It is truly an amazing feeling every time you show friends your wedding sneak peek photos and their jaws drop and say your photos look like they are out of a magazine or romance novel!!! I met Esther in Savannah on one of my visits since my now husband and I were having a destination wedding. Esther is amazing at capturing photos and is passionate about her clients and work. She took her time to get to know me and what I wanted captured, she never missed a beat! Esther was patient with me and my several family members on wedding day and her styling kit was absolutely gorgeous! Esther is worth it!
My fiancé and I just had our engagement photos taken with Esther. She arrived early and was very professional. She is definitely a sweetheart who made us feel very comfortable and gave us guidance the whole way through the session. I kid you not, it was 101 degrees and she schlepped all around town with us getting more photos than I ever expected. She even saved a man from a diabetic crisis while driving to our second shoot location, and still made it there at the same time we did. Our photos turned out gorgeous! I can’t recommend her enough!

So in love with our photos!!!
We cannot put into words how amazing our experience was with Esther but we will try. From the first time we talked to her, we could sense the love and passion she has for her craft. From beginning to end we felt comfortable, relaxed and confident that she was going to capture every bit of this special day for us. She brought us around the town of Savannah where the scenery was perfect for what we had in mind. In each location, she placed us in poses that captured such sweet and intimate moments. The gallery was presented to us quickly and had us looking at the pictures over and over in awe. Our family and friends have enjoyed looking through the gallery and they are just as impressed as we are. This was important to us because we were eloping and wanted them to share the day with us somehow. Esther is the Absolute Best...
Having Esther as our photographer was the absolute best decision we made regarding our wedding planning. Esther is incredibly warm, friendly, and so professional. Our original wedding plans were thwarted by Covid and we ended up having an intimate (lovely) ceremony at my childhood home. Although far from Savannah and not what we’d planned, Esther traveled to us and made the day just perfect. (She even gave us hints like how to do the ‘cut the cake’ part, as we had no idea!).
The photos she took are absolutely stunning shots (and we already have our gallery!). She took gorgeous photos of my husband and I, our family, the details, dancing, flowers, our pup... every part of our wedding day. We’ll cherish these forever.
If you’re looking for a photographer and if Esther’s available, consider yourself incredibly lucky.

Sweet, simple and perfect
Esther was flawless! We had a small, intimate elopement in Savannah and it was everything I dreamed of. She touched base with us through email all the way up until the date, and meeting her in person the day of was like we had known each other all along. Her and my husband had hilarious banter throughout the day! She is so sweet and funny, and a kind soul. She knew what I was envisioning and took control and made it happen- which was exactly what I needed. All we had to do was be there and look pretty! Everyone agrees our wedding photos are something out of a fairy tale- I strongly recommend booking her for yours!

Elopement in Savannah
My husband and I eloped in Savannah at the Hamilton-Turner Inn. Esther photographed the ceremony and then took us around Savannah to her favorite spots for pictures. I have to say, it was the highlight of our wedding. She has an amazing eye for the beauty of the area, and the photos are absolutely perfect. She captured the memories for us exactly as I hoped for. I would give her 100 stars if possible. Highly recommend.

Best choice we made!
Having a destination wedding was the easiest choice we made and hiring Esther to be our photographer for it was the Best choice! We did our research like most engaged couples looking for the best fit.. style & personalty for our wedding vision. Meeting Esther was one of the first things we did and booked her shortly after and the journey began.!!!Esther was such a huge help to us... recommending vendors she trusted and had worked with. She quickly responded to my emails and helped with so many details.
When the wedding day came around , we were at ease having fun & relaxed like on a photo shoot with a friend .. So ready to get married and enjoyed every minute of the day. She captured every detail of our wedding and now looking at my pictures I feel like everything was just as beautiful and magical as I remember.

Below is our review from our engagement photos but I HAD to come back to review our wedding day. When you think you've received 10/10 service, Esther blows you away! Our wedding album is absolutely magical. Esther has an amazing eye. The way she picks up moss hanging from the oak trees to look like tinsel is jaw dropping. I describe Esther as a photo ninja. You don't have a camera in your face yet she catches so many beautiful photos from all angles. Esther is a dream to work with and we love EVERY single photo.
My fiance and I were so worried about how we would get through our engagement session without being total goofs. Esther made us feel so comfortable, we enjoyed ourselves and the photos came out beautifully. we couldn't be happier! We cant wait for her to do our wedding.

Esther is amazing! She recently took our engagement photos (included with your package) & they are simply stunning! I cannot wait to see what she captures for our wedding day in March! Best Decision we made thus far
Where do I begin. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Esther thus far and we have only just shot our engagement pictures....which turned out AMAZING.
From the start I knew we made the right decision and this was even before I signed a contract or put a penny down on our deposit. We were having issues booking our ceremony location - as we are from Pittsburgh Esther offered to make a visit to the office to expedite the process for us. Closer to our engagement shoot I contacted Esther about her availability and rate for doing a mini family session for my fiance's sister's family prior to our session as their dog was just diagnosed with cancer and feared it would be her last year. Esther offered to do this FREE OF CHARGE and the pictures she took of them are absolutely beautiful!
The photos Esther took for our engagement session are absolutely stunning. My fiance and I commented after the session was over how we never once felt awkward in front of her...which is surprising given we were kissing and embracing in front of a somewhat stranger for 1.5+ hours! We even brought our two giant dogs with us for the shoot - she never made us feel rushed and you can tell she absolutely loves what she does.
Booking Esther was one of the best decisions we have made and I cannot wait to continue to work with her for our big day in April.

Magical and perfect
We couldn't have done it without her! Esther came up to Atlanta, 4 hours away with no extra fees to make sure we had a photographer for our wedding when the hurricane came to Savannah last week. We had to move everything in 4 days. When half our vendors pulled out, she showed up and even offered anothed shoot in Savannah with our wedding attire sometime this fall! She has been so fun and yet extremely professional. All of my bridal party and our vendors loved working with her, she was a quick favorite with everyone. Would not recommend anyone else! She even sent us about 30 photos in less than 24 hours. We love you Esther!

The most amazing photographer!
Amazing! From beginning to end Esther was amazing. We planned a destination wedding from Michigan and I couldn't have asked for a better day. Esther was so personable and easy going, made the day go by so smoothly and even gave me her sandals to wear when my heels were killing me! She took us around Savannah and made sure we got plenty of beautiful pictures of our day. Esther got us preview pictures the night of the event and we were blown away by her incredible work. A Perfect Day
My fiancé and I had such a great experience with Esther for our engagement photoshoot! We were new to the Savannah area, and she made us feel right at home and comfortable from the start. It can be overwhelming trying to find a photographer for your wedding. There are a lot of talented and technically good photographers. If you want beautiful photos, there are several photographers in Savannah that will accomplish that for you. What makes Esther special is her spirit, professionalism, and calming presence. Amazing Engagement Photo Session!
We had a blast with Esther taking our engagement photos, and could not be more delighted that we chose her as our wedding photographer! She gave the perfect amount of direction while keeping the shoot fun and comfortable. We could tell right away that Esther is an experienced professional, and she immediately put us at ease even though we were both a bit nervous at the beginning (this was our first photo shoot ever!) After careful consideration, we chose Esther to photograph our elopement to Savannah. Prior to the elopement, Esther was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to all our emails. We wanted and needed to do some things differently - like be outdoors in the middle of the hot afternoon - and she was very flexible and accommodating with all our requests. We got our pictures extremely fast and they were beautiful and compelling. You will be happy if you hire her!

Esther did an engagement session for my fiancé and I yesterday morning. We chose a sunrise session so we met at the beach at 6:10AM. The session ends at around 8:45 AM so the total time including driving to another location and changing outfit for 2 hours and 35 minutes.
During the session, she was really patient and professional, she told us how to react to the camera for natural photos. She helped me holding my crowns and provided blanket for us to sit on the grass. Even though it was morning session, it is still really hot outside. But Esther was really patient and did all the places that I prefer and also recommended the locations she thinks look nice.
We got the edited photos for our 2nd location on the same night, there are 200+ photos and are really high quality, I really like the way she shoots and edits. The photos meets our expectation and we enjoyed working with her.
I spent 1 months comparing photographers online, Esther's photos are high quality and price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend her for any photo shot and would like to work with her again next time if I get a chance.

Esther is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with! Her energy is just what you need on your wedding day! She is filled to the brim with so much love, positivity and excitement - it radiates through you and all your guests.
My husband and I were planning our Savannah wedding from Atlanta and Esther was kind and generous with her time - she met us “virtually” over the phone and it took no time at all to decide that she was absolutely perfect! Esther even did an engagement shoot with us before the wedding as practice for the big day on one of our trips to Savannah (P.S. I highly recommend this - her photos were perfect for our guestbook!).
Esther’s creativity and personality make you feel so natural when taking photos. We can’t decide which ones are our favorites, so we’re printing everything! We’re so excited to share all the special moments she captured with all our friends and family.

We had the pleasure of working with Esther for our engagement photos last week and are now confident that our wedding day photos are going to be just what we were looking for and so much more! We were originally nervous about taking pictures since we usually do not thrive in front of a camera but Esther made us feel comfortable and the photos are absolutely stunning. She has an eye for backgrounds, lights and poses. She also went above and beyond to accommodate us. The day before our pictures were scheduled, my makeup trial was cancelled and I was just going to do my own makeup but when I mentioned this to Esther, she moved her schedule around so I could have my makeup done for the pictures. I searched for a photographer for a few months and am so glad that I went with my gut and picked Esther!

Look no further! This is the photographer you want for your big day. Esther was a pleasure to work with from our first correspondence. She took the time to get to know us personally meeting at a local coffee house. I knew right away from this meeting that her professionalism, organization, and friendliness were just what we were looking for. Our engagement session was perfect. We took some of the pictures with our 3 dogs and she was wonderfully patient with our crew. The beautiful edited photos were received in a timely manner.
Esther further proved her value the day of the wedding. She was spotted at 10 am at the venue picking out the perfect locations for our photos. Her commitment to provide the perfect shots continued throughout the day. She worked tirelessly, and we are so appreciative of her attention to every detail. The day following the wedding she was spotted by one of my bridesmaids already editing our images. She provided us with a large sneak peek later that day. We can't wait to see the remainder of the pictures, but I know they will not disappoint. On the day of my wedding, it was predicted to storm all day. Rather than being frustrated about the weather, Esther remained calm and joyful. Even in cold weather and misty rain, Esther used her creativity and made the best of the situation. She even brought a cute umbrella to use as a photo prop to commemorate the rainy day. My wedding photos turned out beautifully. She captured every emotion and every memory. I could not be more happy with her work. Esther was quick to respond with any questions I had.
