We had such an incredible experience with Eric Vest as our wedding photographer! From the day that he very promptly responded to our inquire email, to the ease he provided us on our big day and everything in between! My husband and I, even a few months post wedding continue to talk about Eric and how incredible our day was because of him. Not only did we end up with the most amazing photos, but we never even felt the pressure of taking photos. He kept our day running seamlessly and guided us through the day. We even had a thunderstorm that took out electricity and completely changed out plans springing chaos into the morning and Eric didn't even bat an eye. He quickly make the chaos of our day smooth again with his flexibility and advice on how to smoothly move forward. Our experience with Eric was so much more than the most incredible wedding photos, he gave us some of the best memories of our wedding day. We continue to receive complements about how amazing Eric was and how beautiful our photos turned out. We added on the Photo Booth guest book as well and it was seamless and so much fun! I will be recommending Eric to everyone and continuing to use him for family photos moving forward. Not only did I get the wedding photos of my dreams but so much more than that! The best photographer!!
When we started the wedding planning process, finding the right photographer was one of the biggest priorities for me, as your photographer is such a huge part of the day. Choosing Eric as our wedding photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made! He made the whole process, from engagement pictures to wedding planning, and of course the actual wedding day, seamless, easy, and fun! He was a great resource to have when building our wedding day timeline, helping ensure we could enjoy our day without feeling rushed and still get all of the photos we dreamed of! He made the pictures fun and easy, even for my husband who was not looking forward to so many photos! He’s organized and efficient when it comes to the timeline, but he keeps the energy lighthearted, relaxed, and genuinely fun the whole time. Our family and friends were so impressed by how smoothly he helped our day go and the number of incredible pictures we received! Like I said, my husband is not a fan of being in front of the camera. However, the best compliment came from him when he told me, “Eric exceeded my expectations, which I didn’t expect as someone who is very picky and doesn’t like pictures.” Eric has a gift for capturing authentic moments and stunning photos. We ended up with the most beautiful wedding gallery that helps tell the story of our day perfectly. Seriously, we cannot recommend Eric enough!! -

The way I see it, there are many categories in which to rate a wedding photographer. One is technical skill. I just got my photos back from Eric, and they’re absolutely divine. He knows exactly what he’s doing behind the lens, and with his editing/touch-ups and whatnot. Another category might be “event management.” He’s just so organized and knows just when to do this, that, and the other thing. Customer service? Yep, nailed this, too. From being so cordial and quick to respond over email, he made my wife and me feel like we were in good hands at every touchpoint.
And Eric’s amazingness goes even beyond earning an A+ in every conceivable category in which one could “grade” a photographer. It’s the little things, like for example how he’d straighten my tie if it ended up askew. A short side story to further illustrate this point: at one point in the evening, I realized the top layers of our cake (the one you cut ceremoniously) had been sitting in a box in the back of the venue. Nobody bothered to tell us it was there, so it didn’t get unboxed and put on display until we were about to cut it. Well, I didn’t have anything to unbox the cake, which was taped shut tightly (the caterers said they couldn’t do it for liability reasons), and I was being pulled in a million directions. Out of nowhere, Eric came up to me and told me he’d take care of it. It wasn’t his responsibility whatsoever to open my cake box and put my cake on display — but he just did it. And it was such a weight off my shoulders in that moment of chaos when all I wanted to do was spend time with my family and friends. (And not track down a knife to open this box, a place to put the discarded box, etc., etc.)
Having Eric as our photographer was the best decision ever. If I were to put this long review into a single sentence, I’d just say: “He blew our expectations away with his photos, personality, and customer service — which is certainly a dying art.”

Eric was just a wonderful photographer, and he was perfect for our wedding. Neither my husband nor I are particularly photogenic, at least when intentionally posing, we're more of the awkward variety, what the hell are you supposed to do with your hands, but Eric was able to get many amazing pictures for us. It was really great that he got to know us as a couple before the wedding, he kind of got a good feel for our personalities and what type of pictures we were looking for, it made the day of the wedding go very smoothly. He was great at giving guidance during the photos, telling me where to put my damn hands, and he really just made the whole experience much more fun that I expected it to be. I am not overly fond of posing for pictures so that was a very nice surprise. Should we get married again, yeah, no plans for that, we would definitely get Eric as the photographer again, totally worth it. -

Besides my wife, choosing Eric, was the best choice I made for my wedding. For real. He is massive - yet invisible. He is no where to be seen but gets all the pictures of everyone everywhere. The compliments the night of the wedding went in this order: you guys are great together & the photographer is amazing. He even bustled my wife's dress for her when we couldn't figure it out. The photos he took are irreplaceable and his help was irreplaceable. -

We could not be more grateful for Eric! We were running 15-20 minutes late almost the whole day, but he never made us feel rushed or stressed and gladly continued to capture all the moments we requested, even after his time was up. Don't waste anymore time looking! Eric was an absolute God send for our wedding! Eric works with couples to create an incredibly detailed day-of timeline. This schedule acts as the back bone of the entire day, and my wedding ran sooo smoothly because of Eric!! This man is unmatched in his professionalism, his attention to detail, creativity, and he is one of the MOST THOUGHTFUL humans I've ever met!! He has been photographing weddings for a long time and the guy comes PREPARED! He anticipates potential issues and mitigates any he spots. On top of being very experienced and super hands on, he is SO MUCH FUN!!! I honestly think Eric enjoyed our wedding just as much as we did! His passion for photography is incredible and it shows! Photography is costly, but hiring Eric is worth every penny! Hopefully you've booked him before making it to the end of this review because his schedule fills fast, as it should, because he and his work are AMAZING!!!! -

Eric is the best! He is organized, timely, and incredible eye for timeless pictures. He kept our day moving, had special time plugged in to the schedule for just my husband and I, and we had the best time. Excellent Experience
We had such a great experience with Eric. We waited until we were about 6 months out from our wedding to book a photographer (in hindsight, probably not the best idea), and I am completely shocked that we were able to get Eric for our wedding. We were so lucky; his work is wonderful. He was also so pleasant to work with (so enthusiastic!), incredibly knowledgeable, and thorough. He helped guide us through our wedding day, and made everything so stress-free. And, of course, we loved our photos! I hope everyone can be so fortunate to have him as their photographer. -

Personal, Intimate and Romantic! Absolute PERFECTION!
This review is long overdue, and for that we apologize Eric!
Working with Eric is a truly magical experience, not just because of his photography, but more importantly because of the AMAZING person that Eric is both professionally and personally! Eric invests a ton of time in getting to know you as people before he works to capture your special memories.
When we saw Eric's website and the quality of his work while shopping for photographers, there was no question that his work in photographing special events was nothing short of exceptional. As you know, finding that special someone who knows how to photograph those special moments is more than just looking at their work. We met Eric for the first time through a Zoom call, and through his extremely positive and joyful personality, we got to know Eric even better, and there was no question in our minds that he was the guy for us.
Eric's personality, friendliness, professionalism, work, communication and most importantly the way in which he works with you is off the charts. Five stars is no where near what he deserves. Both of us have been in the service area are entire careers (and we're in our 50's) and we have never experienced someone like Eric. Eric's communication from start to finish is spot on, as he never leaves you guessing about the prep work, the planning, the day of activities, what happens after, or when you will receive your photos. He is a true partner throughout the entire process.
On our special day, Eric was fabulous. His smile alone is infectious, and you can help but to enjoy your time with him. He makes you so comfortable, and supports and encourage you to be yourselves. As you get lost in the moment with the one you love, Eric quietly blends into the surroundings, captures your special moments, and basks in the celebration with you by memorializing the moment through his camera. Eric laughs with you, cries with you, and truly becomes your friend in the time he spends with you.
Eric's personality is that of someone you cannot help but love. All of our friend, family and guests commented on how wonderful he was to have at our wedding, and have truly enjoyed the pictures he captured of them at the event. The hundreds to thousands of photographs he takes will help you to see those many moments that you weren't even aware were happening, and you will get to enjoy the utter happiness that Eric captures for you.
There are not enough words to explain how happy we are with the photographs Eric took of our wedding, but more importantly than the photographs, Eric captured our hearts and our souls through the person that he is and how he approaches his work. We will forever be grateful to Eric, we will always consider him a friend, and we would highly recommend Eric for your special event without question, without reservation, and without any hesitation! He is by far THE BEST!!

12/10 - This is Your Guy!
There aren’t enough stars! We hired Eric Vest for our engagement and wedding photos. Eric is one of the kindest and most thoughtful photographers (honestly I’d even say humans) I’ve ever gotten to work with. He remembers EVERYTHING! We didn’t hire a day of coordinator and Eric was stellar at keeping and maintaining timelines (no small task with my family). He is professional and comes with plenty of recommendations & only if asked for them - Photography related or not. His work is beautiful and timely, but I’ll let that speak for itself. You won't regret it!
Eric was one of the best investments we made for our wedding! From our initial intake call, to our engagement photos, communication back and forth for planning purposes, our zoom meeting a few weeks before to finalize timeline AND then our wedding day, Eric was phenomenal. He is calm, knows his stuff and made our day so special and fun. I can't wait to get all of our photos back but the sneak peaks that we got, I can't stop looking at!

We cannot speak highly enough about Eric. This review is almost difficult to write because words cannot convey how amazing he was in making our engagement photos all the way through to our wedding day a beautiful and stress free experience. He was also so kind and personable and we felt like we had known him for years after just meeting him- which helped ease the nervousness of getting our pictures taken! Eric is the best photographer we could have ever imagined for our wedding! He is so personable and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. He is hard working, organized, and extremely professional. He basically acts as a day-of coordinator and is fun to hang out with on your wedding day (you are with your photographer a lot!). We were behind schedule at one point during the day, and he assured me we would make up the time and get all the shots we wanted and put me at ease. During the reception, he even brought an Ipad and displayed pictures that he took earlier in the day- the guests raved about it! Our wedding party, parents, and guests made several comments to us how amazing our photographer was. We got a sneak peek very quickly, and we cannot wait to see the rest! 5 stars aren't enough. Everything about working with Eric from start to finish was nothing short of excellence. His communication, both with us and the other vendors, was superb. He was incredibly helpful, even with things that were not related to his job in any way. He was an absolute delight to work with and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, and it shows in the photographs. He kept us on schedule in the kindest way possible, and did a great job of calming me down when I got overwhelmed about the number of things we had left to do and the amount of time we had to do them in. He made sure we got everything we had asked for and every photo I had expressed was important to me, even when I thought there was no way we could fit it all in. He was timely every step of the way, from responding to the first email I sent him to delivering the final photos to us, which were everything I had hoped for. He exceeded my expectations in every way. It's worth noting my late father was a photographer, so my expectations were sky high from the start. Not an easy bar, and still he surpassed it. I am so grateful that Eric was available to photograph our wedding. It was one of the most special days of my life, and he helped to make it perfect. -

If you're still looking for a photographer, look no further. Eric is hands down the best of the best! We could not have been happier with our choice in choosing Eric Vest Photography for our engagement session back in October of 2022 and wedding day on April 1st, 2023. I met Eric through my sister's wedding as she also booked his services. When we got engaged, and as soon as we booked our venue, we went straight to Eric to make sure he was our photographer! Eric has excellent communication and a great personality for this line of work. He's personable and an absolute professional which all help to make you feel relaxed and natural in front of a camera. His expertise and calm demeanor also helped with moving the wedding day schedule along and staying on time - he even came prepared with a crochet hook which helped with the ridiculous amount of buttons on the back of my dress! Eric is an artist in his craft and I can't recommend him enough. Thanks to Eric, we have such incredible photos to be able to remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives. -

We cannot say enough good things about Eric! In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you will hire for your wedding because the memories that they capture will last for a lifetime. I knew I wanted someone who was detail oriented, flexible and had a creative and clean style. Eric surpassed all my expectations and I would recommend him a hundred times over!! We have already had multiple friends ask us for his information for their future photography needs. He took both our engagement and wedding photos, and every picture was perfect!! He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, so our pictures turned out natural and relaxed. Eric listened and accommodated all my ideas, made sure to work through my crazy long list of the family photos and made all our family and bridal party feel comfortable because he is so easy to work with. Eric is caring, calming, super prepared, thorough, very talented and an absolute pro. It took so much stress away from our wedding having Eric as our photographer because we had full trust in him and was always available for questions. If you’re looking for a one stop photographer, this is your guy!! Eric took care of sooo much more than just photography! I hired Eric to do my engagement and wedding as a package because I loved the style of his photographs. They are so vibrant and crisp! We started out with the engagement session and I envisioned a beautiful spring moment. I scheduled the season and as the time rolled closer, Minnesota had other ideas and the weather was still soggy and gross. I contacted Eric and with a smile he gladly told me we could reschedule! So we did and waited for spring to roll around. Well spring came and we woke up to go to our location and the rain came POURING down. Eric met us and said “No problem! We will wait it out!” Eric waited AN HOUR in his truck just waiting for the weather to cooperate and never batted an eye. Once it cleared up he took us out and did his thing. He even brought a pretty umbrella just in case. And when it sprinkled a little he used the umbrella to create more adorable shots. Then our wedding came around! Eric set up a zoom call to align the timeline perfectly so nothing was missed. We got down arrival times of everyone, places people needed to be and he made sure he knew every little detail! Once wedding day came up Eric was there, bright and early with his empowering smile. When I tell you this man comes prepared I mean it! Any little thing me or one of my girls said “this would be useful if we had…” Eric produced out of his Mary Poppins bag! Down to me saying a fan would be nice because I was getting hot in my dress - he had a handheld one! My sisters said a crochet needle would be nice to do my dress up - HE HAD ONE!! All that in top of the photographs being strikingly beautiful was the perfect combination and I’d hire Eric a million times over. Eric also worked hand in hand with my day of coordinator to make sure everything went so smoothly for my day and he never made me feel rushed even when we were clearly behind schedule, which was very calming. Eric was a true friend on the day and he was always smiling and seemed just so excited to be part of our wedding. He’s also tall so he can get those high up shots so easily! We got hundreds and hundreds of photos from him and in a very quick manner. Our sneak peaks were always out to us within a day or two 💜 He really was a key part of our wedding and has made our memories last FOREVER. We loved having him. -

Eric is the best wedding photographer we could ever ask for! Prior to the wedding, he was extremely thorough and responsive and we had the best day having our engagement photos done on the coldest day of 2021. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. On our wedding day, he kept us on track of the timeline, resolved the bow-tie crisis for my husband (bonus points, Eric is the expert in bow-tie if you haven’t noticed), and he even had toys on him to make our flower girl stop crying! He captured the most wonderful moments for the most magical day! We had around 50 guests and didn’t hire a day of coordinator. But having Eric by our side, we felt so calm and hustle free. After the wedding, we got the sneak peek photos the day after our wedding day, and received all the photos back within a month! Eric is the best!!
I would recommend Eric over and over again. He was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive during the process. I was stressing about having a list of photos to make sure I got everyone and I definitely did not need to. Eric got so many incredible pictures and made the day so stress free and relaxed - which is especially important given how much time you spend with the photographer. My family also loved working with him and that was the first thing they noted the next day was how much they enjoyed Eric and what a great job he did. And he did an amazing job. I am blown away by our pictures. We had a perfect wedding and we have e most amazing pictures as memories. Eric captured the most amazing candid moments of the day as well. It was truly incredible to look back at all the photos. Use Eric for your wedding day, you will definitely not regret it and you will have no stress or worries knowing you are getting the most amazing moments on camera and working with a truly incredible person on one of the biggest days of your life. My wife and I had such a fun time working with Eric. He was extremely professional from start to finish. Whether it was promptly answering emails or hopping on a phone call; he made sure all of our stresses and concerns were taking care of. When it came to the wedding day itself, Eric is great and taking charge and making sure everyone is in the right spot and ready to go! Eric is simply amazing. Here's the hint you're looking for... HIRE HIM. If you need more convincing, keep reading.
We had to cancel our engagement photos for various family emergencies (y'all... let's just say thank goodness 2021 is done 😣) not just once, but twice. Eric not only re-scheduled for us (on short notice) multiple times, he went above & beyond to see what he could do to help us with anything he could, even if it was completely unrelated to photography or our wedding! He prayed over us during those family emergencies & I have no doubt he was on his own time too. Once we actually got together to do our engagement photos, (which is only supposed to be a couple hours), he spent hours late into the night with us answering non-photography questions, helping us decide on centerpieces, & giving us his 2 cents & expertise for decisions we were questioning. He helped us nail down our day-of timeline, (let's be real, he basically made it for us), checked in with us before the wedding, & was a knight in shining armor (or a knight in a bowtie 😉) the day of. He stepped up to help with many things unrelated to photography, like getting our decor in the correct places after they were placed elsewhere & being a genuine, comforting, kind, human who truly helped ease any nerves or stresses anyone (not just us!) had. He is intentional & makes you feel like he deeply cares about you like his own family. He knows you'll need a minute to breathe throughout your day, so he not only schedules it in throughout the day, but he's strategic in getting you away from people to 'get some photos' when you need it. Girls - it's like having your best gf there to save you when you give her 'that look,' except he knows without you even cluing him in!!! What. A. Winner.
Eric was flexible to get the pictures we wanted before the ceremony even though we were short on time. He helped me prank my husband with a 1st look (the best man was actually standing there in a dress... lol)... my husband STILL talks about how well Eric fooled him. He makes sure those 'little things' you're worried about, like your hair being in the wrong place, your lipstick being smudged, or your dress/suit having a wrinkle, are taken care of. Again girls - it's like your best gf is there for you without you even asking!! There were a few specific photo requests we had that he captured beautifully. He included our baby (a dog) in tons of photos during our engagement & wedding photos & his 2nd shooter (who was also a doll!) helped hold our dog & bring him back & forth when he wasn't in the photos.
And the NIGHT PHOTOS. If you don't hire Eric for anything else (which would be a monstrous mistake, seriously), hire him for the night photos. These are not something I've seen a lot of photographers do & Eric not only does it, but does it SO well. They are some of our favorite photos.
As far as after the wedding, Eric was very timely in getting our photos & when we needed a bigger file of one of them (we printed one that's 3ft x 4ft... so if that doesn't say we love it...) he got it to us promptly & was so ecstatic for us. Your galleries are kept with him forever & you don't pay extra for that... so while you should still save them to your own device, you can also relax knowing if you lose them, he'll still have them.
& he sent us a Christmas card, making us feel even more like family ❣️ We'll absolutely hire Eric for all of our future photos throughout life. He's a wonder & will not disappoint. -

Do yourself a favor and hire Eric right now
Stop looking for photographers right now and just hire Eric and thank me later. We were lucky enough to have him as our photographer for not one but TWO of our weddings. The first being an extremely small wedding during the pandemic in 2020 and the second being our large originally planned wedding in 2021. Eric is so thoughtful, sweet, and funny and takes incredible pictures that truly capture all the emotion of your day. He makes you feel totally comfortable and works with you to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. He’s like your own wedding coordinator on top of your photographer. Eric is definitely part of our family and we cannot wait to use him for all our other life events in the future! -

We had a great wedding and Eric was there to photograph all of it. He was patient and very kind and easy to work with. He reassured us through the time table of the wedding and captured some great shots. After we went on our honeymoon to Bora Bora and got some photos there we realized how much more taken Eric had than that photographer. Great person to work with and a great sense of humor and easy going attitude. Highly recommend. -

Eric was THE BEST choice ever for our wedding day! We were looking for a photography style that was joyful, natural and timeless, and Eric fit that perfectly. From our first meeting he was super friendly, helpful and professional. He seemed just as excited about our wedding as we were! He really strikes the balance between being pumped for your special day and also organized and on top of things. Our wedding day went so smoothly with him taking photos--he rolled with the punches when we were running behind on our schedule, and got all the shots we didn't even know we wanted! He put so much thought into everything, like making sure he didn't take photos of my dress hanging until he knew where the groom was so the groom wouldn't see it, keeping track of our rings so we could wear them for photos before the ceremony, and generally helping everything run smoothly. Our photos turned out absolutely GORGEOUS! I'm so glad we hired Eric! -

Incredible photographer and person!
We cannot say enough good things about Eric! Eric was the first wedding vendor we hired as he came highly recommended by some of our friends. We could not be happier with our decision!
In addition to being a kind, genuine, big-hearted person, Eric is also an absolutely incredible photographer. Eric stuck with us and adjusted to our ever-changing wedding plans as we struggled to plan a wedding during the COVID era. When our day finally came, Eric made us and every one of our family members, friends, and wedding party feel comfortable. Eric directed traffic in a gentle but efficient way, and ensured that we got photos in every location we wanted to. He even drove us in his truck about a half mile away so we could get a photo with the Minneapolis skyline during golden hour! In addition to making the staged photos fun, Eric managed to capture so many candid looks, laughs, hugs, and kisses throughout the day.
After we got our photos back, we could not believe how beautifully Eric captured every special moment of our day. We shared our photos with friends and family and, to a person, they loved our photos as much as we do. We've been married two months now and honestly not a day goes by without us looking at our wedding photos. We are so grateful to know Eric, and we cannot recommend him enough! -

Eric is the BEST! He was our favorite vendor that we hired and so wonderful to work with. Eric captured our day perfectly. We just got the photos back from our wedding and they are absolutely beautiful. I don't usually like I how look in photos, but I love all of our wedding photos. On top of taking gorgeous photos, Eric is charismatic, communicative, professional, and highly organized. Eric created a timeline for our day and coordinated with our DJ and day-of coordinator, which took a lot of worry and planning off of our plate. Eric was the best! First of all, everyone knows that most of 2020 was a tough year for couples wanting to get married, and obviously wedding vendors had plenty of difficulties as well. My wife Molly and I were originally planning a June 26 wedding in the Twin Cities area, but due to Covid-19 we moved everything to August 22 in my hometown in Iowa...and Eric traveled there and back (about a 7-8 hour round trip) in a day! He endured our large wedding party and nearly 100-degree heat and never complained about any of it; instead, he was super understanding, very easy to work with, very respectful and professional...we were just so grateful for everything, and how he was able to accommodate us due to the changes we made regarding the location, venues, and date. The photos he captured are so great! It's just so fun to go back and look at them, and we are so grateful to Eric for doing such a good job of capturing our special day. -

Eric was absolutely fantastic -- his communication and preparedness allowed me to go into our wedding day without a worry. He helped me develop (and redevelop because of COVID) a plan for the day that allowed us to enjoy taking pictures and not feel rushed the whole time. Eric also made sure to get a thorough list of all the shots I wanted, which he succeeded in fulfilling while also using his own artistic eye to suggest shots along the way that have since become favorites. His personality is one where you naturally feel at ease, and he did a phenomenal job with all the members of our bridal party. He also recommended a great videographer to us on the fly. Eric was absolutely wonderful to work with. When we decided to plan a modified COVID wedding and booked Eric, he immediately sprung into action and made us feel like we had one less thing to think/worry about. Eric developed a thoughtful day-of timeline and researched the state park that we wanted to take pictures at ahead of time to scout some potential photo locations. Eric is thoughtful and will make sure that you feel like your wedding is special and meaningful. One of the things we loved most about working with Eric was the fact that he was a leader - when we didn't know what we wanted for our photos, he demonstrated leadership and creativity to help us capture all of the meaningful moments during our day. He captured the little details without us asking and almost became part of the family for the day! Not every photographer is willing to venture out into the pouring rain, stand on extremely precarious rocks by (actually, IN) the St. Croix River to capture a beautiful moment. He is great with kids, dogs, and made our wedding photos feel fun and effortless. Plus, his work is absolutely stunning. We cannot say enough positive things about Eric and Eric's photography. Erik was a dream to work with!
We were not only impressed by his artistry and quality of work, but even more so by his thoughtfulness and professionalism. From our first point of contact, we knew Erik would be the best possible photographer to work with, as we could immediately tell that he was a great listener and really wanted to get to know us as a couple as well as our expectations for our wedding day and how he could best support our goals for the day. He was always prepared and brought both a calming demeanor and creative spark to all meetings, our engagement session, and the wedding day itself. As a couple hosting a Catholic wedding with 300+ guests, we knew we were asking a lot of Erik between operating within the church’s rules around photographing our ceremony, to asking him to corral dozens of our family members for large group shots on a tight schedule, to capturing as many fun moments as possible at our reception. This may get long for some of you to want to read, but there aren't enough words to express how amazing our experience with Eric was!!!
We had met with multiple photographers prior to meeting Eric. We had our standard questions ready for him, but he answered all of them before we had to ask. He was so genuine during the meeting, we immediately knew he was the one. He was slightly above what we initially wanted to spend on photos, but it was 100% worth it!!! Now that the wedding is done, I would've paid even more than we did-without hesitation.
He made the entire process stress free. We had an engagement session with him and that further confirmed we made the right choice. We had our dogs with during the engagement shoot and he was able to do amazing photos including them, some without them and some just of the pups :) After our session, he went above and beyond to get the photos edited and back to us quickly so I could use one for our save the dates.
Our wedding day was a blast! He and his second shooter (Nikole Heikes) really were almost like additional day of coordinators. They kept us on schedule and were able to corral my entire extended family into the timeline. When I said I was planning on taking a sleigh ride over the Stone Arch bridge (in the middle of December) Eric didn't hesitate to join with and capture the moment (despite the frigid weather). The photos throughout the day/night were simply stunning! Some other brides I've spoken with had gotten tired of smiling during the 'photo taking' time of the day, but I couldn't help but smile! Eric is truly a kind and caring human being - who just happens to take amazing photos :) He felt more like a guest then 'just the photographer'
After the wedding, he again edited a couple of photos for me, practically immediately, so I could use them for Christmas Cards.
We would absolutely recommend him to anyone and will use him again for photos!

Eric made the entire process easy, which was exactly what I needed. From the beginning, the communication was quick, clear and efficient! Eric came with us to look at the venue and meet the family weeks ahead of the wedding, which was such a kind gesture, over the top! (Everyone loves him by the way - family, venue staff, etc). I wanted to push the limits a bit with some of our photos, as my husband is an adrenaline junkie, and Eric made it all happen! Throwing couches in the air, climbing trees, etc. We also had a special request of setting up a photo booth in our vintage Airstream trailer. Eric made it happen! The pictures, because of course that is what you care about and can actually hold on to, are BREATHTAKING! See for yourself. When we first Eric he was very friendly, however, we then figured out that He genuinely cares about the happiness of the couple more than anything else! He became an amazing friend. Best decision ever!
Eric is an incredible photographer! We could not be more happy with the quality of the photos we received for our engagement and from our special day. Beyond that, Eric himself is an amazing person to work with. He is responsive to questions and ideas before the event and even better the day of. Honestly, If we could give Eric 100 stars we would! Not only is work amazing, he is just an absolute joy to be around. I knew from when we met him for coffee that he was who I wanted by our side all day. With his contagious smile, he gives off so much positive energy that we knew we would love to have on our wedding day to keep things lighthearted and fun.
Eric was so thorough at our engagement session! It was a very hot summer day and he spent nearly three hours with us, getting amazing shots. He made us so comfortable and it was great to build that relationship and get to know each other before the wedding.
Leading up to our wedding day, Eric was soooo helpful with determining the timeline for our day. We had a phone conversation with him a few weeks before the wedding that really helped me to envision the flow of our day. When it came to our wedding day, Eric was simply amazing. Of course he was our photographer, but he also did a great job keeping the day running smoothly and on time. He fixed my hair when it was out of place, totally embraced our January wedding, and we received NUMEROUS comments from our wedding party and guests about how awesome our photographer was. He showed us a few shots on his camera that day and I knew I was going to be blown away by the images. They turned out to go even beyond my expectations. He captured every thoughtful detail that we put into our day and we have so many amazing photos of us as a couple as well as our wedding party. He truly captured the feel of our special day and I especially loved our night shots. It was so great to take a few moments to step away from the celebration, take it all in, and we ended up getting some of our favorite shots of the day.
