A couple of months after our wedding, we’re still hearing from friends and family about how incredible the band was—and honestly, we couldn’t agree more. OneLove absolutely *made* our reception and turned it into the kind of unforgettable, high-energy celebration we had always dreamed of. From the very beginning, their communication and availability were outstanding. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the band made this part of the process feel easy and exciting. They were always responsive, open to ideas, and willing to jump on calls to talk through details. It never felt like we were just another booking—they genuinely cared about making our night perfect. One of the things that really stood out was the depth and versatility of their song list. It felt like they could play *anything*, and not just play it, but truly perform it. Whether it was classic rock, modern hits, or unique cultural touches, they had it covered—and at an incredibly high level. What really took things to another level, though, was how much effort they put into our special requests. We had a very specific vision for our entrance—something totally unexpected—and they leaned all the way in with us. We had in-depth conversations about pulling off a full-on metal entrance with “Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue” and they absolutely nailed it. The energy in the room exploded the second they started playing. Our first dance was just as meaningful, and again, they went above and beyond to get it right. Their rendition of “Thank You by Led Zeppelin” was beautiful, emotional, and perfectly tailored to the moment. It felt incredibly personal, not like a standard cover at all. And then… they somehow kicked it up *another* notch. Bringing in a second guitarist, Guy Valic, was one of the best decisions we made. His playing added this insane, face-melting rock edge that elevated the entire performance. You could feel it in the crowd—people were blown away. Another highlight was their Irish fiddle set, which was such a fun and unique touch. It brought a completely different energy to the dance floor and meant a lot to us and our families. It’s not something you see at every wedding, and they executed it flawlessly. By the time the night really got going, the dance floor was absolute chaos—in the best possible way. Packed from start to finish, nonstop energy, people singing, jumping, dancing like crazy… exactly what we had hoped for. They didn’t just play music—they created an experience. If you’re looking for a wedding band that will truly partner with you, take your vision seriously, and then exceed it in every way, OneLove is it. This band is simply incredible! From start to finish it was so easy to work with them and the outcome was just fabulous! We had a lovely, small event for our daughter’s graduation. Eric and Melissa tailored the music, musicians and mood just for us.
We wanted an upscale, jazz type feel to our event and One Love was able to curate a specific ensemble just for us. The pricing fantastic and they worked with us within budget.
Our guests had one consistent comment throughout the night: “Wow, where did you find the band? They are awesome!” Even after the event the comments continued about the band. Don’t get me wrong, the venue and the food were also simply unbelievably great (probably the most beautiful venue in New England!) but One Love received “alllll the love” from our guests.
I highly recommend this band if you are looking for talent that is top shelf and even more importantly nice people who are truly concerned about delivering exactly what you are asking for at your event!
Also …they respond immediately to your questions, calls or emails. They were recommended to us from our venue who worked with them many times and came with high praise! So glad we went with this recommendation because One Love is simply the best! -

I would give 10 stars if I could! We would highly recommend the ONE Love band! They really know how to keep the energy high and bring the party. Melissa is extremely kind and easy to worth with. The team listened to our wants and needs and completely delivered exactly what we wanted. We saw them twice as guests at our friends weddings prior to having them at our own. It was the best decision we could have made! Thank you to the entire band for making it such a special night and one we will remember forever! -

Hire this band!
Hire this band if you want your guests to be dancing all night! Months later and our guests still rave about how much they loved the band and the set list. They worked with us to understand the songs we did (and didn't) want to hear, and created an amazing set list. Our wedding would not have been the same without One Love - they made our special day even more unforgettable. -

Finding the perfect band for our wedding on May 24th, 2024, at the Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York, was no easy task. Music is incredibly important to us, and we needed a band that could meet our high standards. From the moment we heard Eric Nicolas & One Love, we knew they were the perfect choice. Their exceptional sound, versatility, and professionalism were evident from the start.
One Love exceeded our expectations by tailoring their performance to our specific requests. We had some unique song choices and special arrangements, and they delivered each one flawlessly. Their ability to accommodate our needs made our wedding day incredibly special and personalized.
Communication with Melissa and Eric was outstanding from the initial booking through to the day of the event. They were responsive, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring everything was perfect.
One Love provided the ideal soundtrack for each part of our wedding. One Love was incredible at our wedding in October, our guests are still raving about them! Melissa and Eric were so communicative in the months leading up to the wedding and helped my fiancé and I with suggestions regarding our music choices and even our timeline! Our first dance, Mother/Son dance and Father/Daughter dance were all in different genres, but the performance of each song was incredible. One Love even took the time to learn songs that were not on their HUGE song list to play songs that had special meanings to our families. Our guests did not stop dancing the whole time. From the beginning to the last song played it was incredible. I cannot recommend One Love Music enough!! -

We saw One Love at a friend's wedding and we decided that we wouldn't have a band at our wedding if we couldn't get One Love. They were exceptional throughout every step of the process — going above and beyond what I would expect from a vendor. They basically functioned as our defacto wedding planner for a large part of our process; and their expertise (from venue selection, to course timing) was truly invaluable. This is to say nothing of the music, which is untouchable. They don't take breaks, they cover all genres, they crushed our first dance, and were, without question, the biggest hit of the evening. Most importantly, they really seem to be having a great time up there. Incredible energy. Tons of smiles. This is your most important vendor, gang! They make it SO easy!!!! -

From the moment we first heard One Love in Delaware at a wedding, we knew they had to be part of our special day. Four years later, our dream became a reality!
Our experience with One Love was exceptional, exceeding all expectations. Melissa, Eric, and the entire One Love team displayed outstanding communication, seamlessly incorporating our special requests and ensuring a stress-free planning process. Despite our wedding being on Cape Cod, they traveled from NYC without a hitch.
The ceremony music, New Orleans horn parade, and incredible singers created a magical atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for our day. One Love kept our guests on their feet, delivering an electric and unforgettable dance-party experience. To this day, all our guests can't stop talking about the incredible performance.

Look no further, you have found your wedding band! OneLove was beyond exceptional and an absolute dream to work with. From our very first call, I knew we'd found true partners in bringing our musical vision to life. I heard a lot of brides say something like "don't expect your band to actually play what you want," and this is absolutely NOT the case with OneLove. They completely tailor the experience and the music to your vision, and they executed it to perfection. We had two ceremonies and a reception at the Ocean House in Westerly RI. OneLove provided music for the entire weekend. The ceremonies very different vibes - one Jewish ceremony with traditional music; one secular ceremony with Beatles and Taylor Swift; and the guitar/violin duo for both had everyone in tears. For our wedding party, they were extremely accommodating for some special requests, including a guest singer for our first dance; an acoustic performance; and working with a prerecorded medley for the father-daughter that they faded seamlessly into their own set at the conclusion of the dance, completing my vision for the moment perfectly. What I loved most about working with OneLove is how much they emphasized the flow and mood of the evening. They reacted do dynamically to our guests while never losing sight of our vision. Their singers for each song are chosen for their ability to match the style of iconic hits, so you basically feel like your favorite artist is singing the hits live for you. All of our guests were RAVING about the band afterwards, truly we heard it nonstop. I can't recommend OneLove enough for their consummate professionalism and truly epic performance. -

We dreamt of an epic dance party for our wedding and One Love made it happen!!! We had SO much fun dancing to incredible live music with all of our friends and family - they all loved the music and kept telling us so!!! We could have kept dancing all night. Throughout the planning process from the very beginning, One Love worked closely with us to brainstorm our music goals, fine-tune our set list and first dance requests, and then beautifully executed everything!!! In addition to our reception music, One Love organized beautiful acoustic music for our garden ceremony with guitar and violin, coordinated the music timeline with our catering team with incredible detail, and provided so much reassurance for us leading up to and on our wedding day. The raging dance party at the end of our wedding will forever be the best wedding memories for us!!! We truly could not imagine wedding day without this band. I couldn't recommend One Love Band more highly...they were INCREDIBLE at our wedding! Melissa and Eric were a dream to work with throughout the whole process, and the full band was so talented, energetic, and fun! We were especially grateful that they learned and played our first dance song exactly like the recording, since we had fairly complex choreography. They learned and played multiple songs just for us, including for parent dances and our ceremony music -- they are so committed to making your wedding entertainment fully personalized and exactly what you envision. Multiple guests at our wedding told us during and after the party that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard/seen! We wanted a band that would bring the house down and this band delivered and more. From our first call with Melissa and Eric to set the tone of our wedding to our final song (joining the band on the stage), they were absolutely phenomenal in every single way.
We wanted a party that was full of great dance music and amazing vibes in which our guests would be rocking on the dance floor all night – and they were! Whenever we needed help with a special song, Melissa and Eric were quick and helpful to recommend some great choices.
Not only were Melissa and Eric so easy to work with, helping us craft the perfect set list and tone of our wedding, but also the music and talent of the band was just fabulous. Guests were coming up to me during the wedding asking, “Who is this band? They are the best music I’ve ever heard at a wedding!”
One Love was also amazing during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and hora, and we couldn’t be more grateful to entrust these guys to anchor our wedding – We’ve been to many weddings and One Love was truly the most incredible band. -

Melissa, Eric, and the group of incredibly talented musicians are off the chart incredible! We were married June 3 and had a blowout dance party at New York Botanical Gardens that was unmatched. We had a full dance floor before dinner that continued for FOUR straight hours. They can play EVERYTHING from Jazz, Ballads, Rock, Country. We asked for special songs played by the string trio for the ceremony and they covered our favorite Billy Joel song for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind recessional. We had several calls leading up to the big day where Melissa and Eric listened to our every desire and matched it. I thought it would be good but they exceed all of my expectations. Our wedding guests all said the same thing: "This band is amazing!" My wedding was the best day of my life and they were very much a reason! -

OneLove was FANTASTIC. Not only were they tight and incredibly talented musicians, but the entire experience was flawless. Great music, great people, incredibly easy to work with. Melissa (the band's manager) was very communicative throughout the process, and provided the most comprehensive song list of any band that we spoke to. They were especially receptive to special requests, and made the entire evening personal and special.
My wife and I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding!!!!

There isn't much to add that hasn't already been said on the countless other amazing reviews but yet I feel compelled to leave one to help further convince you to hire One Love for your wedding.
Before my wife and I decided to hire One Love I spoke to several other bands, read every review for One Love, and watched every YouTube video I could find to help with the decision. But what sealed the deal was how my wife and I felt the first time after chatting with Melissa and Eric. They immediately understood what we were looking for and they certainly did execute on their promise!
We had Eric play guitar during the ceremony (all Beatles songs), keyboardist during cocktail hour, and the full 10-piece band for our reception. We received countless compliments both during and after the reception about how great our wedding band was. And we got married at the Culinary Institute where most guests were expecting the food to be the highlight of the wedding, but they couldn't stop raving about the band and how much fun they had.
Not only did the band keep everyone on the dance floor once the night got going but they were also a pleasure to work with and were super responsive and professional. We are so glad to have had them play at our wedding and exceeded any expectations we had going into our wedding weekend (which were pretty high based on all the other positive reviews).
If you want your wedding to be the non-stop dance party you envisioned with your guests super impressed by the great band you hired that can play a wide range of music then you don't need to look any further. Hire One Love and I promise it will be the best decision you've ever made. Well maybe second best after the decision to get married to your future spouse. -

One Love Music is unbelievably talented, extremely professional and organized, and working with them took an entire weight off our shoulders when it came to running the reception time line and keeping the energy going the whole night. First of all, they sound amazing. The vocalists are next level, and every member of the band sounds phenomenal. My husband is Puerto Rican and it was really important to us to find an amazing band that was going to keep everyone on the dance floor all night, including his extended family. We wanted to surprise his mom by finding a bilingual band who would be able to play salsa and sing his Mother-Son dance in Spanish. One Love already had all the salsa standards in their back pocket, but they learned a very special song just for the MOG dance and it was an extremely emotional moment that could not have happened without their help. One Love learned songs for our special moment, for first dances, parent dances, last song and were very helpful with helping us set up a schedule for the reception. They know what they are talking about and it was such a relief having them interface with the venue to keep our entire evening on track. One Love had amazing ideas for our event schedule to make sure the energy kept going the whole night and they made sure to play all our must-plays. They sound absolutely amazing, we received so many compliments about this band and could not imagine having such a fun reception with any other vendor. If you are on the fence, contact them! You will not regret this vendor!! -

Insanely talented and professional
One Love is truly an exceptional band -- they are insanely talented yet very professional and organized, and my husband and I could not be happier that we had them at our wedding. I was fortunate enough to have seen them perform at my sister's wedding, at which time I remember being really impressed, and hiring them for my own wedding was a no-brainer. Once the process started, however, it was clear that they were as professional as they were talented, and in the midst of the pandemic, so easy to work with! Melissa, who is the coordinator and really takes care of all the logistical preparation, is so attentive and responsive in communications and really made the process seamless. The musicians are all amazing and have a huge range of talent. You will be hard pressed to find a better band to play at your wedding regardless of what your musical style is -- they KILL it with classic rock, but really are so versatile. As a special request, we even had Eric Nicholas sing in Italian for my family members (and had both my husband and I in tears!) We absolutely loved working with them, and you will too. We are writing this review to make sure any couple who has a chance to work with One Love, chooses to hire them for their wedding! One Love, specifically band lead Eric and Band Manager Melissa, helped us navigate our twice postponed wedding during COVID.
One Love’s performance was unbelievable at our wedding on July 17th 2021 at the Watch Hill Chapel and Ocean House. To say One Love blew the roof off would be an understatement. We asked for a party and One Love delivered a party!
We asked for One Love to make a lasting impact on our wedding guests by playing a mix of party hits, impactful ballads, and get everyone dancing. One Love fully accomplished this. We heard from so many wedding guests that our band was by far the best band anyone has ever heard before!
Eric and Melissa listened to our song requests, played all three of our first dance wedding songs (since we had over 2 years to second guess our song!), and had a killer opening set. We knew One Love would crush our entrance song and first dance song but the “Soul Man” song right after was incredible. We, along with many guests, were drenched before we even sat down for the appetizer. We loved how One Love involved our bridal party in an original way as well. The band sang “I Will Always Love You” during dinner and made our guests feel as if they were watching a show (& got a standing ovation from everyone)!
One Love's ability to play so many different genres, including Country and Latin, for so many different generations is incredible and got even people who do not dance onto the dance floor. Eric and Melissa even worked with the groom who surprised the bride playing the saxophone with the band during the reception.
We also have to give credit to the singer and trumpet player who performed during our catholic ceremony. The trumpet solo playing “Edelweiss” while the bride walked down the aisle was a moment and the singer singing “Ave Maria” was incredibly moving. Guests mentioned afterwards how incredible the music was during the ceremony, and we couldn’t agree more!
We cannot wait to hire OneLove for future party’s and events! Hire OneLove and you will be fully supported throughout the planning process and can have confidence your wedding music will be a hit!

One Love performed at our wedding this past May and we could not be more thankful for such an amazing band and group of people! The process leading up to the wedding was extremely organized and communication was always flowing (even with a rescheduled pandemic wedding!). They got to know us as a couple and the music we were interested in dancing to all night. They are truly professionals and we knew we could trust them with making the evening exactly what we wanted!
From the ceremony music, cocktail hour and the reception - each group played amazing songs. And you can tell they all really love playing good music together. One Love really knew how to read the room and play music based on the flow of the night and how many people were on the dance floor. Because of this, I don't think anyone wanted to get off the dance floor all night! Over a month later and people are still raving about our band. And we can't wait to party with you again in July at the next family wedding!

The best in the business!
Eric Nicolas & One Love performed at our wedding in May 2021, and they absolutely blew us away. Firstly, leading up to the wedding, they were extremely kind and accommodating through our postponement for Covid. Melissa is so easy and fun to work, and she is so organized that you can trust everything will run smoothly on the day. We had several calls leading up to the day to really feel like they understood our crowd and what we were looking for, and ultimately, we just trusted them to run the show and they knocked it out of the park!
I cannot emphasize enough how One Love absolutely ROCKED. IT.!! The crowd was having so much fun, the energy was palpable from dancing before we even sat down for dinner! I still have guests reaching out to rave about how amazing and memorable our band was. Their selections were spot on from dinner through dancing. Interacting with One Love was easy from start to finish and they were helpful throughout the whole process. Melissa was very responsive and Eric and his band played great music. We had a small wedding as a result of COVID-19 and there were some uncertain times throughout the planning. The One Love experience from start to finish was top notch. We had a small wedding as a result of COVID-19 and there were some uncertain times throughout the planning. Eric and Melissa make a great team and they were nothing but understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. They helped us navigate the changing state regulations and took what had the potential to be an extreme disappointment, and made it the most incredible day of our lives. Eric is a master at selecting songs that perfectly suited us as a couple and our guests. Words cannot describe the atmosphere created by the musicians. Their violinist, Katya, has a sound second to none and coupled with Eric on the guitar really made our ceremony special. The music was perfectly suited to the type of reception that we had. An excellent mix of Brazilian jazz and familiar hits. During a time when dancing was against the rules, One Love managed to get all of our guests to “dance in their seats” creating a memory we will never forget. We are looking forward to next year when we get to party with One Love again for our full reception.

Eric, Melissa and the whole team are absolutely incredible and you should not hesitate to book them!
We first encountered Eric Nicolas & One Love at our best friends' wedding - after seeing them that night we knew we needed to have them at our wedding and as soon as we were engaged and picked our venue we contracted them. From the very first conversation it was clear that Melissa and Eric were the best of the best - truly consultative and extremely knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, our wedding was impacted due to COVID, and Melissa and Eric could not have been more flexible and empathetic. They even went so far as to check in with us on what would have been our original wedding date, just to see how we were doing.
We were lucky enough to have a scaled down version of the band at our micro wedding in July and it was the best decision we made. We were nervous that with only 15 guests dancing could be awkward, but the band kept the energy going all night and every single guest commented on how amazing they were. We had many conversations leading up to the wedding to talk about safety, run of show and song choices - all leading to a totally stress free and wonderful night. Melissa stayed on top of timing and when we needed to make a small pivot she made it easy and seamless.
We feel so fortunate to have had them at our micro-wedding and very much look forward to having the full band at our reception in the future!Eric Nicolas & One Love's reply:

We had such a blast with One Love, and had SO many guests tell us that our band made the night. WE AGREE! They rocked out - playing classics, top 40, and a few under-the-radar favorites (including our wedding song / first dance, which they learned for the occasion!). Plus they were so easy and fun to work with for the months leading up. Their ideas were awesome, and they even met with our friends to practice our ceremony song (our friends were singing) in advance at an east village bar. We hired Eric Nicholas and One Love for our wedding. We had the 10 piece band member configuration. WOW!!! What a great night. The dance floor was packed all night. One Love is a top notchh group of professional musicians and they rock! The music was great, the band members were entertaining, fun, and super talented. Our guests loved One Love as much as we did too.

From the beginning to the end, the experience was seamless and professional. The entire band was exceptional - I would venture to say that they are probably one of the best bands we have heard!! They made sure everyone had fun and appeared that they also enjoyed playing and interacting with the crowd. Even weeks out from our event, our guests are still talking about how great the band was. One Love is hands down the best wedding band. If you are able to get them for your wedding, DO IT! We have received so many compliments from guests about the music at our wedding reception. One Love was instrumental (no pun intended) in making sure our guests had a great time!
Leading up to the wedding day, Eric and Melissa were great communicators, and made sure they had a good sense of the type of music and experience we were looking for. We had a few conference calls to walk through our requests and the format of the reception, and then they coordinated with our venue to take care of the rest. It was very organized and seamless!
One Love is comprised of a group of extremely talented musicians - they are a "stacked" team. In addition to sounding great, they have a very wide range in terms of what they can play. Over the course of the evening, they were busting out 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s pop, motown / soul, hip hop / R&B, punk rock, latin - you name it! There was something for everyone. They even went out of their way to learn some new songs we requested ("Coming Home" by Leon Bridges for our first dance and "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" by Stevie Wonder for the father / daughter dance) - all of which sounded amazing. One Love did a great job of curating the musical selection - they ended up playing a number of hits from my college years (which obviously got my buddies all fired up). Everyone had such a great time on the dance floor.
I would recommend One Love to any bride or groom who wants exceptional music at their wedding (or for anyone looking to throw an awesome party, for that matter)! -
Katie Sent on 08/15/2018We got married in June at The Boathouse on Shelter Island and cannot begin to thank One Love enough for making our whole wedding experience absolutely amazing! From our first phone call to the last dance, Melissa and Eric and the whole band went above and beyond. They were so easy to work with and we felt that they really got to know us and the vibe we were looking for for our wedding. We are still receiving compliments from our guests and one of our friends already booked them for their big day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Allison Sent on 01/05/2018Eric & One Love (and the team, specifically Melissa) were one of the highlights of our wedding weekend, and really the whole wedding planning process. We had numerous conference calls with Eric and Melissa to discuss the wedding logistics, our favorite songs, our general tastes in music, and what songs we were thinking of using for first dances, etc. They spent SO much time with us and provided really valuable feedback - as well as some new ideas we hadn't even thought of (that wound up being perfect). We really wanted the music to be a focal point of our wedding and they delivered ten fold. Our music really centered around Billy Joel - and Eric & One Love absolutely nailed it. Our entrance and first dance were so perfect because of their timing, execution, and ability to feel out the room. As the night went on, the dance floor was packed! The vocalists interacted with our guests, and really made it such a fun experience. We also really liked that they played a few songs by the same artist in a row - for example, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. We love these artists, and ALL of their songs so to be able to 'get in to the groove' and keep it going was awesome. As the bride, I also had a very specific request for a song to be played - which required Eric & One Love to do a little practicing since it is not a generally played wedding song (I am probably the only Vertical Horizon fan still in existence from the 90s). Eric & One Love performed it perfectly and it made the night for me! All of our guests and family kept commenting on how amazing our band was, and we feel the same way - from the planning process to our actual wedding day, Eric & One Love made it an exceptional experience and we have the absolute best memories!
