We were blown away by Epicurean! From start to finish, everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. During cocktail hour, the Mediterranean station was stunning and filling, and the passed appetizers were flowing — no guest had to wait. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night!
We were especially impressed that the food for such a large group came out hot and perfectly cooked — the steak was tender and flavorful (not overdone like at so many weddings). The pie bar with ice cream was a huge hit for dessert, and our guests are still talking about it! It truly felt more like a restaurant experience than a typical large wedding.
Epicurean was also incredibly accommodating of allergies — the groom has celiac disease, and they made sure he had safe and delicious options throughout the night. We couldn’t have been happier with both the food and the service. Highly recommend! -

Epicurean was a top notch catering team for our wedding. Everyone raved about the hors d'oeuvres -- we're still dreaming about those pierogies and bacon wrapped scallops. Throughout the planning process they were incredibly kind and flexible, especially as we were planning from the other side of the country. Truthfully, food wasn't our number 1 priority for our wedding day, but the experience we had with Epicurean left people thinking that it was. If you want good food, service, and affordability - go with this team!! -

We chose our wedding date based on when Epicurean was available to cater it, and it was 100% worth it! We had the BBQ station, salad station, and s'mores (over a campfire) and pie to end the night. All of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. It was so delicious (yes we ate EVERYTHING), the presentation was incredible (hence the beautiful photos), and their staff are just phenomenal. They provided a bartender for us, and worked with us to create our 3 signature drinks, which were amazing! They were also wonderful to work with, and they ensured that we had everything that we wanted in terms of menu, layout, and staffing for our backyard wedding. They always responded to us so quickly (shoutout to Gavin!!), and answered any questions/concerns that we had throughout the planning process. Cannot recommend them enough! -

We did drop off catering for my micro wedding in the Poconos 7/25/2020. There is an awesome selection of food to pick from, and I thought the price very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. Everything was delicious and presented in a beautiful way! Carla gave great directions on how to heat everything up and was very nice (we wanted minimal in person interaction because of Covid). People were raving about the food - both the appetizers and entrees! Highly recommend Epicurean Delight Catering!!! -

There's not a lot that we can say about Epicurean Delight that hasn't already been captured in their existing reviews. They create mouthwatering delectable meals, lovingly prepared, with an amazing presentation that will have you and guests saying "wow" for all the right reasons. We knew from our first tasting that we could trust the Epicurean Delight team to create a unique custom menu for our wedding and all throughout they were an absolute delight to work with. Our tasting was personal and intimate, not at all rushed. We got to try a variety of appetizers and entrees, all of with unique tastes and flavors that exceeded our wildest expectations. We were so excited to work with Epicurean that aside from our reception dinner, we also trusted them with our rehearsal dinner, bar tending, and even our wedding cake! If you are looking for a truly unique menu that will have you and your guests reminiscing long after your wedding, we promise you won't be disappointed with Epicurean Delight.
On a personal note - The quality of the food, professionalism, responsiveness aside - we wanted to share something that in the grand scheme of things was probably a very small gesture but was one of the most important moments of our wedding day. The groom's late grandmother had a fig tree outside of her house in New York, and much of her family would be present at the wedding. We had thought it'd be symbolic to garnish our wedding cake with figs. We shared some inspirational photos with Epicurean Delight, and while they were excited to create the chocolate drip and the gold leaf, they warned that figs may be difficult because they are usually out of season in the winter.
When we saw our cake for the first time, it was absolutely beautiful. Then we noticed, there on top, a beautiful fig. Then more figs scattered about. They were able to accommodate this and it made for such a special moment on our wedding day that we will always cherish. Thank you Epicurean Delight. -

My husband and I are so incredibly thankful for the staff at Epicurean for being such a huge part of our amazing wedding day! Our guests were constantly coming up to us raving about how wonderful the food was. Usually, the bride and groom don’t eat much food on their wedding day, I think we were the exception! The staff was phenomenal in making sure we were taken care of, we got a little bit of every single part of the food spread, including the appetizers. The way the food was presented and laid out was absolutely beautiful and the cake itself was just as pretty as it was delicious! Carla and her team were so easy to talk to and plan with, I would recommend Epicurean to everyone! Thank you again so much for making our day even that much more meaningful💕 -

Amanda Sent on 11/29/2017Epicurean Delight exceeded all of our expectations. Their level of professionalism is admirable and their food is just down right delicious. Walking into the first tasting, all of my concerns regarding the food for our wedding disappeared. I immediately knew that everything was going to taste great and look fabulous. Carla and Cliff worked with all of our crazy ideas and made sure we had a menu from start to finish that we loved. The day of our wedding could not have gone smoother. Their staff was wonderful, accommodating, and very personable. Our guests still cannot stop talking about how much they loved the food. In fact, the day after our wedding we asked our flower girl (age 6) what her favorite part of the wedding was. Her response was, “the Caesar salad.” Our cake, baked and designed by Sarah, was an absolute showstopper. It was a pleasure working with the amazing team at Epicurean Delight and I would highly recommend them for any event….. and the mini Philly Cheesesteak sliders; words cannot describe how good they really are!

The food was excellent, they did not complain about our somewhat hard-to-reach location; up a steep hill, in a field. All food was made on-location with fresh, local ingredients. And their presentation is outstanding.
We tasted many items at our initial meeting (before we even booked them) at their Tunkhannock, PA, location, and the tasting was like a 5-course meal! Once booked, we were in touch leading up to the event, but they did not bother us with EVERY little decision, which we appreciated. They suggested many hot, passed appetizers (6, I think), which we did NOT end up going with. Having 2 cold appetizers was just fine for our guests, and was a good way for us to cut costs. We had their crudite platter and fruit kabobs; both delicious.
This company needed our final count only the week before our event. We asked for a few services to be added the week before and that was no problem. Although at the higher end of our price range for our catering budget; WORTH every penny!! Many guests have commented on how wonderful the food was, better than the usual "wedding food!" -

Epicurean Delight was just the best. End of story. I’ve been cooking/catering professionally for 18 years and have catered countless weddings and events. For years, people have been asking me who I would have cater my wedding and my response was literally ‘I can never get married because I’d only trust myself to cater!’
SO thank god for Epicurean 😊
At the tasting, I knew we made the right choice. You can just tell when people care about the food they are making and serving. Literally the fact that you stuff, bread, and fry individual servings of the ricotta spinach stuffed chicken is amazing. As a kitchen slave myself I know how much work is put into something like that and it did not go unnoticed.
The whole Epicurean team were really fantastic. All of the staff were incredibly attentive, making sure we were taken care of the entire day.
Wedding food is always just ok or good. Let me just scream from the rooftops that our food was BEYOND. I was obsessed with it. The portions were really generous, and the flavor was truly spot on. We had some no-shows so leftovers were sent home with us and we were practically in tears when they were all gone.
Being dairy free, I didn’t have any cookies or brownies the night of, but I did eat leftovers the next morning and everything was perfection. Don’t sleep on the brownie/cookie bar for real.
We had countless people tell us how delicious everything was and can I just say thank god? People “expected” us to have good food because of being In the business and Epicurean delivered.
