Epic Sounds was an amazing addition to our wedding! From the beginning Lance was very attentive to our needs and our ideas. He was very flexible with our late add ons (if you’re on the fence about the photo booth definitely get it!!!!!)
He provided professional sound and service throughout our entire wedding. Everyone who needed a mic had one set up with ease. He was able to do separate music for us in a different part of the venue for guests who did not want to be around louder music or lights.
He was also ready to help with any task that was thrown his way! When I was dead set on a short clip I had seen online and had the idea to mix it with a different song, he was able to achieve my vision and took feedback when I wanted to tweak small things!
One of our favorite parts was his ability to mix all night. We did not want a DJ to just press play on a preset playlist and go about their evening. Lance was on top of it the entire time and there was no lull in music or in energy on the dance floor. We requested that there were no slow songs and each song did not play all the way through. It gave him the ability to spin and gave him autonomy to read the dance floor and play whatever fitted the vibe. He made it very easy to make requests for what to play (or not play!) ahead of time and it saved us time and stress the day of. Lance helped our wedding vision come to life – if you want a party on your dance floor, he is your guy!!!

Lance was great! Easy to work with, experienced, and you can tell how much he cares about the couples he works with. Lance had our guests up and dancing for nearly 4 hours, and everyone was still having a great time. Would recommend! -

I'm writing this review about a year late but better late than never!! Lance is the absolute best and built my wedding photo booth from SCRATCH. Literally built it based on photos I sent him from Pinterest. The final product was so amazing and our guests LOVED IT. The photos were printed on site for each guest and all photos from the evening were accessible in one easy link. My husband and I loved looking back at all of the photos our guests took throughout the evening. Thank you Lance for your wonderful communication and final product! -

We hired Lance for our wedding that took place yesterday and are stopping to write a review already! He exceeded our expectations. My husband and I both had specific song requests/mixes for the dances with our parents and Lance was so easy to work with! He blended songs at the reception that kept our guests entertained and hyped up! I would highly recommend Lance for your wedding! -

Lance was so flexible in working with us in his schedule and in the time to meet us in person and assisting in the walk through with our wedding coordinator and event planner. The lighting and sound were superb. We were transported with our first dance in the clouds with the stars overhead. Thank you for setting our photo backdrop and placing galaxy projectors to add to the effect. -

DJ Lance was an amazing vendor for our wedding, touching every part of the event! When we first booked Lance, we were just focused on the music entertainment for the reception but as we continued to refine our wedding day plans, Lance was there to help save us time and money! He ended up providing ceremony audio & video services, yard games for the cocktail hour and reception, reception uplights, and a perfect audio guestbook experience, all on top of being the MC and DJ for the reception! Lance did a great job bringing our wedding vision to life and we will cherish the ceremony video and audio guestbook forever. -

We knew that Lance was the perfect fit for us as soon as we spoke with him on the phone. In May 2023, he was the sound entertainment at my cousins wedding. He had people on their feet, the whole night, and we were so happy that we made the decision to go with him for our wedding. For our wedding in October 2023 he exceeded our expectations! He went above and beyond to help make sure the day was perfect. He answered all our questions and helped make the day go exactly how we planned. The sound and light quality were great. He had people dancing all night long and our friends and family loved him. The photo booth was a great addition. All of our guests loved it and we had fun with it ourselves. It’s a great way to have fun memories for everyone who attended. For anyone who is planning a wedding I always recommend him. In fact, one of our groomsmen from our wedding is getting married in the fall of 2024, and he will be doing the sound entertainment at their wedding. We can’t wait to see him again! -

Our favorite part of our wedding!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I can't say enough good things about Lance. He was great to work with leading up to the wedding and was very professional and responsive. On our actual wedding day, Lance went above and beyond, from showing up early to make sure everything was set up correctly, to recording our ceremony and first dance, and then staying until all the guests were out. We had a very high energy crew and he kept the party going the whole reception. The song transitions were 10/10. The day after our wedding we had multiple guests text us about how amazing our DJ was. We have also had 2 friends who are getting married next year reach out and ask for his contact information. I HIGHLY recommend! -

Lance was an absolute pleasure to work with. He really knows how to read a crowd and play music that best fit our vibe! We stayed on the dance floor the entire night. Lance is a very knowledgeable DJ, he helped give us recommendations for specific moments of our night. He is very punctual and made sure we stayed on schedule the entire night. He's also very flexible as we decided to have him come to our separate mountain top ceremony last minute! Couldn't have been more pleased with our DJ. :) -

Lance is an incredible DJ who helped us build the vision for our ceremony and reception from the very beginning. He had wonderful systems in place that helped us think through all of the music choices we would need. He also was incredibly responsive leading up to the event. The day of the wedding, everything was perfect! Our ceremony audio was perfect and didn't go out despite the wind and the rain. During the reception, he played a wonderful mix of genres we requested (even if it was not the most traditional wedding music - we loved it!). I tell EVERYONE about Lance - you just can't get any better! -

Lance did an amazing job with our ceremony sound and reception announcements/music. He was very easy to work with from the beginning- providing a portal to fill in all of your music choices. Beyond that I was able to share a playlist I created with him and he did a great job of selecting songs and keeping the crowd hype! I'd recommend him to anybody planning a wedding or event- especially those that may be stressed out by planning as Lance made it very stress-free :) -

Lance is the best wedding DJ around. After our first phone call with Lance we could tell how dedicated he was to all of his clients and booked him immediately. Lance set up three sound systems for us - dinner, ceremony, and dancing. Lance was very responsive during the whole planning process and helped us make changes up to the last minute. Thank you Lance for helping us with our dream wedding. -

I knew from the first conversation I had with Lance, I knew that he was the DJ for us! His experience in the wedding industry helped us answer questions we didn't even know to ask. The online portal we were given allowed us to list out every detail of the wedding from our walk-out song to a list of songs/genres we didn't want to play at the reception.
He let me send him a Spotify playlist we had been building and we were so happy to hear songs from that playlist as well as other music that matched the genres we had asked for at our reception! The dance floor was busy all night! -

Lance, with Epic Sounds Entertainment, was all you could ever want in a DJ and more! He was so nice to work with and the platform in which he used to capture what songs I wanted played, was a dream. As one of his brides, he includes you on trends and tips for your wedding day, so not only are you getting his music expertise, but his knowledge of the wedding industry. The night before the wedding, our bridal party made the decision to do a "group" number as a surprise to the guests. We learned a dance to September! Lance was onboard, with just a little notice, and the guests loved it! If we did not get married amid a global pandemic, I know there would have been more action on the dance floor (that is not to say that there wasn't any) - there was a group on the floor almost the whole night! His song quality was great, his lighting gave the room a great vibe, and he kept the crows engaged. Thanks Lance! -

My husband and I hired him for our wedding and he helped us get organized last minute, was extremely helpful and very experienced in how the music for the ceremony and reception would go. Lance was so flexible working with us as we rescheduled our wedding due to Covid-19. He answers emails promptly and was always available for us to ask questions. On the day of the wedding, he was a great DJ and announcer, and even helped us communicate with our guests about Covid-19 safety measures. We sent him a list of songs we would like him to play the night before the wedding, and he incorporated them into our special day. He also made sure to keep songs clean (we had kids at the wedding) but still keep the fun and upbeat favorites. We didn't end up using the photobooth due to covid concerns, but it is awesome that he has that option. He also has lots of lights that made our reception area beautiful. Thank you Lance for making our day great! 10/10 -

Lance was AWESOME! Our ceremony and reception was perfect. We had a few requests but ultimately gave him total control and He kept people dancing all night! Everyone really enjoyed themselves and We actually had a guest call a week later wishing we could do it again.

Lance was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. We are so glad we decided to use his company for our reception!!! We had a blast as did our guests, lots of dancing through the night. Overall we had a wonderful wedding and Lance was a big part of all of that. Our guests had a lot fun with the photo booth as well, it makes for some really funny pictures to look back on and see all that you missed. Totally recommend if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding. From a client/vendor standpoint his services were very reasonable cost wise, always professional in any of our interactions as well as the night of the wedding, accommodated any requests we had just overall very easy to work with he was a great vendor.

We had DJ Lance for our wedding in June and he was absolutely fantastic! He handled all the music for the ceremony and reception and we could not be happier with the service he provided. We had chosen an entrance song for our wedding party and it wasn’t quite long enough so he looped the chorus seamlessly with the rest of the song ON THE SPOT. He has some seriously great DJ skills.
We were able to choose a bunch of songs to play and he supplemented with his own mixes which our guests loved and were super impressed with. He was able to keep our guests dancing all night and they had such a blast. We loved having him and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great he was.
I think I heard the phrase “a DJ is a make or break for a wedding” at least 10 times and DJ Lance definitely made our wedding. At one point the crowd was cheering “DJ LANCE!” and we heard “DJ Lance is killing it” more than once. -

Epic Sounds Entertainment was extremely professional and very easy to work with. Lance was able to offer advice and suggestions, as well as happily working in all of our requests. Thankfully, he was also able to accommodate our last minute changes without any issues. During the event, the team did a great job of reading the crowd and choosing the music to match the mood and timing of our ceremony and party. Epic Sounds Entertainment delivered a really fun and stress-free soundtrack for our wedding, and I am happy to recommend them to others in the area! We got a photobooth in addition to ceremony and reception music and it was a big hit with our guests. -

Lance did such a great job! Who doesn’t want their own personal dj who picks songs that are specifically for you on your special day?! He kept everyone dancing, did a great job following our playlist requests, when people started to stop dancing he quickly faded into a new song and on top of that he also does drapery and lighting and it was BEAUTIFUL! Everything was organized and already provided and set up! I didn't have to worry about anything! Music was a HUGE and important part of my wedding and Lance took everything I wanted and turned it into the vision that I had in my head and somehow made it even better! I had full trust in him and was so rewarded for using him for my event. The photo booth was a huge hit and gave us a wonderful gift to look at after the event. If you are having second thoughts about a photo booth or DJ for your event, please don't and rent from Odyssey Shotz and Epic Sounds! You will not be disappointed! Thank you LANCE! We had a great experience with Lance. He looks like he's having so much fun DJ'ing, his attitude is infectious! He was great at reading the room and any time the dance floor started to clear out he knew exactly how to get everyone back out there. He was a pro at providing amplification for our vows and for toasts, and at playing music during cocktail hour and dinner that was unobtrusive. It all felt seamless. He did miss a couple last-minute song requests I added during the week leading up to the wedding but that was my bad for leaving it until so late and he got all the important ones. We would definitely recommend Lance if you want your guests to have a great experience. -

Lance did a great job of keeping the dance floor alive but also helping me stay on schedule.
